One of their reason is that "The embassy said many of the Chinese citizens working illegally in Philippine casinos or POGOs and other forms of gambling entities are subjected to what media described as modern slavery due to severe limitation of their personal freedom and also Beijing welcomed the suspension of the issuance of new licenses for Philippine offshore gaming operations (POGO).
Earlier this year, I opened up this thread: Philippines' PH Resorts Group gets regulatory nod for $350 million share offerinSo it looks like Philippines is somewhat leaning on online and offline casino to bring revenues in the country. So I doubt that the government will listen to China, if Philippines wanted to stop it then they shouldn't offer gambling licenses and stop the influx of Chinese coming to the Philippines. But it's too late already, in my opinion. There is big money involved here, and I think that Duterte won't heed their call. |

Loma is young and a beast that destroyed Rigondeaux who replicates the style of Floyd IMO. It's not possible at this point. If he wanted to go to 147 and chase money fights there, then good. There are a lot of high prize fighter in that decision not name Floyd Mayweather. But I don't know if his body can really go that high though and we don't know for sure if he can carry the power and the speed. But it would be really interesting to at least go as high as 140 lbs for him and go for belt. |

So KD and Kyrie are recruiting the still unsigned Melo to join them in Brooklyn. What do you guys think? A one year contract sounds like a good deal to me since KD won't be able to play for a long time. I hope Melo's manager don't act like a tough guy if ever the Nets management contacts him.
If Melo can adjust and he can remove his ego and accept his role as a bench then maybe a one year deal will be a worthy deal for him and a chance for him to redeem himself. I watched him carrying the Knicks way back 2014 I think and carried it to playoffs. The all-star Melo type is gone already but he can be helpful in the Nets with KD out for the whole season. Definitely Melo can be a big addition to the Nets. But as you have said, he needs to understand his role now. He is no longer the Melo the scorer and he needs to adjust him game to fit with the Nets style. Yes, one year contract seems to be fair or even 10 days agreement. And then it's going to be a wait and see. Just like what Houston did last year, giving him chance to play, however, he was cut off by the team early in the season. |

Ok so it still looks like 50/50 up to this point. We may have to wait a bit longer to see the effect. I'm also not a fan, but it will definitely help a lot on bitcoin to gain confidence to those institutional investors who are waiting and willing to pour their cash on the ecosystem. I agree that we get tired of hearing about Bakkt launched, but I still optimistic that maybe investors are going to renew their interest, after a year of hype.

Just some update here: The unscrupulous operators of the TrickBot trojan -- one of today's most active and widespread malware strains -- are now capable of carrying out SIM swapping attacks, security researchers from Secureworks have told ZDNet today.
This is possible because over the past month, TrickBot operators have developed a new version of the malware that can intercept login credentials and PIN codes for Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless web accounts.
The data TrickBot collects can allow its operators to carry out a so-called SIM swapping attack, porting a victim's phone number to a SIM card under their control.
This would allow the TrickBot gang (or someone else) to bypass SMS-based multi-factor authentication solutions and reset passwords for a victim's bank accounts, email accounts, or cryptocurrency exchange portals.

Maybe yes he won't be the same, but also Kawhi suffered before but happened to came back stronger, it's a love from the game and the passion that he will continue playing the same intensity that he have way back, KD is one of those prime player from the league and having him back with the same types of athletic attitude will keep him as one of the best that the sports ever have.
I think the injury of Durant is more serious than Kawhi's injury, Kawhi miss playing with the Spurs because there's a tension inside and he doesn't want to play with the team anymore. Kawhi were able to come back and played with the Raptors, he was still consistent but only played limited minutes in the start and as we noticed he has a lot of rest last regular season because the team are managing his minutes to prevent him from getting re injured again, I think we will see this kind of treatment when Durant comes back. Right, and maybe Kawhi has a lot of rest as well that's why the injury did flare as much as he expected. As compare to Durant who everyone in the NBA thinks has a more serious injury and would take a lot of time just to heal it. And then you have to practice and can a feel of the injury and see if you still the same. But I do hope that Durant recovered quickly so that we can enjoy watching him and Irving doing their thing. |
