Advertising a 750k market cap in under 2 months is quite the claim

They've already said there will be no child boards for alts. I hope you guys can get them to change their minds, though

No problem. I'll post the daemon once we compile it to add Spots to WorkForCrypto.com

thanks for all the info.
I am going to take the plunge and see what gives. I'll probably end up going back to cgminer, but what the hey.
I DO appreciate you both taking the time to answer. You cleared this up for me.
Hopefully this will clear it up for more individuals, too.
Wallet mining won't use your GPU's, that's why you launch cgminer with 127.0.0.1:port

I have noticed if the price goes up, it goes up first on cripsty; if it goes down, it goes down last on cripsty. It seems this coin would live better without vircurex. It seems absurd, but all the times the price goes up on crypsty there is someone on vircurex ready to sell out a lot of coins for a lower price. Unless the smarter guys are all on cripsty, while the rest is on vircurex, i don't see any logic explanation.
It could be that I've done all my buying on Cryptsy. Hard to imagine that I would have such a profound effect but then again this is a thinly traded coin. So does that make me the smart guy on Cryptsy? lol. So have you accumulated any ixCoin yet? It's near an all-time low now. Man, I spent nearly 20 BTC at over 10,000. Now I have no BTC to average down and I'm starting to lose faith cause I can't find any real technical rationale for ixCoin to be the next hot crypto. Sucks! No shit. We've been yelling it in your face for a month Well, I found tons of anecdotal and biblical evidence suggesting that ixCoin will be the next big crypto but that's hard to hold on to and there should be real technical proof if I were, in fact, correct. I wish a real techie would look deeper into ixCoin to see if there's anything out of the ordinary. I've put so much on the line here based on 90% biblical evidence. Man....everyday that goes by I consider selling my position. Like I said, this sucks!Yea, that's worked really well for you up to this point. Next time just go ask a cloud which coin to buy. It'll have the same impact on your wallet

If you are still getting that checkpoint message, PM me and I will give you a node to add that will fix it
Checkpoints have been updated, that message should be gone today
Working on the update that was posted to github right now

Anybody here still think ixCoin is a scam?
Also, what is rhe significance of a new blockchain? Don't all clones have new blockchains rhe way ixCoin did when it launched? TIA.
Oh great, Vlad made a new name

They've already said it's fine to do
I am personally stocking up on all the coins getting added to WorkForCrypto...spt, cpr, frk, tix, dvc
Sounds like its just trying to sync with litecoin.
Even if the red out of sync is there if you are on the right block downloaded then you are caught up and it'll still work

Well that being due to not being able to connect to any nodes I guess yep. I had 2 on there - removed and added all on your original post - no dice. Rebooted server and all that normal stuff to test - addnode=67.167.228.42 addnode=69.85.86.195 addnode=68.103.6.158 addnode=71.187.248.95 addnode=70.69.238.84 addnode=108.185.218.246 addnode=70.98.114.229 Those are what I have in my .conf right now and synced up no problem. We'll have a few more nodes up this weekend when we add it to WorkForCrypto, too
Cool thank you Sounds cool that it's being added - but maybe I'm using old spotsd daemon? how many have you released thus far? Was working fine up until yesterday pretty much. stuck on block 46355 We haven't had to update the client for months. Your only issue is being stuck on that block? Current block is 47167

Hey noticed no more node connections on spotsd. Overall hashrate seems low - client works for me but spotsd doesn't. Do you have new source code for spotsd which is based on current code? The link to the latest source crashed my server I'm not going to compile it again as it also seems to be dated. Do you have a github with the latest sources? Also - overall spots network hashrates seem low - Coin's outlook looking grim. Thank you I'll take a look this weekend. It's not grim at all. Spots is about to be added to WorkForCrypto.com

The marketing is the emphasis on how wonderful his technology was that detected this attack even before anyone but himself was aware of it. He should be careful, he might break his arms patting himself on the back that hard.

I was trying to be ironic, but I fear that it was lost in the text
