8461  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: .Govs Now Want to Come After the BTC Mixers on: January 27, 2017, 10:21:35 AM
Darknet marketplaces like DreamMarket and AlphaBay are now considered as less important then Bitcoin mixers now ? It's definitely possible to try but I doubt they will succeed at the end of the day. If TumbleBit takes place in the upcoming months then they could totally forgot about the mixers as they would be the least of their problems.
8462  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: End of Xapo for poor noobs? on: January 27, 2017, 09:45:06 AM
It's not really to force but to probably encourage to use their services , all bitcoin transactions have fees but with Xapo If you do transactions to another account , they will pay the fees for you. It's definitely not recommended to use Xapo as a wallet though because they clearly don't give you control over your private keys and that's risky.
8463  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] Free EU bank accounts that you can be opened directly online on: January 27, 2017, 09:19:20 AM
I guess those services don't work in Europe only as I've seen some people from my country (Algeria) using Paysera and Payoneer before , so It would be nice If you could manage to provide a list for supported countries (probably link users to the FAQ of the service where the countries are mentioned).
8464  Economy / Economics / Re: John McAffee: "In 2 years Years btc will only have 25% of the Crypto MarketCap" on: January 27, 2017, 08:37:30 AM
To be more precise , bitcoin dominance is currently 85.5% . If we manage to get through the whole blocksize debate and activate Lightning network too , I doubt people would switch to anything else. In fact , we will have more userbase then ever.
2 Years doesn't look like enough time for new projects to develop , there are some interesting projects and ICOs at the moment indeed but surpassing bitcoin is definitely unlikely to happen.
8465  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [GiftCards Shop]Amazon/iTunes/Steam [50% SALE] on: January 27, 2017, 08:21:37 AM
You are clearly trying to scam people here , your original post never got edited and you mentioned Amazon in both your post and title and If we click on your Amazon links (which are different from the first iTunes links) we find that they are iTunes gift cards and not Amazon.

8467  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advcash | a new "anonymous" bitcoin debit card [EUR & USD] on: January 27, 2017, 07:26:47 AM
I fount out today The CC card is not 4,99 but 14,99!!!

Yes , It says on the fees page[1] that card creation costs is $/€ 4.99 (14.99 after 7 days) they probably forgot to update the website.

8468  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - Lightweight Bitcoin Client on: January 26, 2017, 07:01:06 PM
Does that mean it supports trezor?

That should be the case according to the SatoshiLabs documentations : https://doc.satoshilabs.com/trezor-apps/electrum.html On the platform field It clearly says "Windows, Linux, OSX, Android".
8469  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] CS:GO - Steam Account on: January 26, 2017, 06:56:20 PM
Hey bro, you still selling that steam account there? Would buy it if the price is less than how much a new cs:go steam game is worth. Let me know, I'd be interested in it. I believe a steam cs:go is around $7-$8.

Account is still for sale yes , I apologize for the late answer man, CS:GO should cost 14.99$ on the Steam store and I'm willing to sell the account for 8$ BTC with preev.com rates If you are interested in buying P.M me or post here.
8470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safety measures in case of huge profit on: January 26, 2017, 05:25:48 PM
First safety and security measure I can think of is to not store them in an exchange , you should withdraw them directly to a wallet where you control the private keys , for such a big amount I'd go with a Hardware wallet , until you decide to sell them for fiat. If you are from the U.S you should go with Coinbase , and If you are from Europe go with Bitstamp , they should allow you to transfer your funds to your bank account. (note that this require verifying your PERSONAL info)
8471  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Help with error message: “com.googlebitcoin.core.ProtocolException:Peer does not on: January 26, 2017, 05:05:48 PM
I guess that's something normal If we take in consideration that the Hive wallet development has been dead for over a year now and they also announced that on their official website[1] on April 2016 "Thanks for all your support, but all development and maintenance on Hive wallets has now stopped.
 "

8472  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Request API key BLockchain on: January 26, 2017, 04:37:58 PM
I have seen multiple members here facing issues with requesting API keys or having a stable API , I really recommend switching to Blocktrail as It's the best so far when It comes to almost everything compared to other API providers.
8473  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How to buy Bitcoin on Poloniex on: January 26, 2017, 04:07:39 PM
Poloniex is an exchange that helps you buy and sell crypto currencies and using fiat is impossible so you should use an exchange to buy using your credit card and then send the funds to your poloniex wallet which I don't recommend by the way.
You probably don't have much but Its never suggested to do that , online exchange don't give you control over your private keys so If It happens and the exchange goes down (hack , ddos .. anything) , you won't be able to access your funds anymore.

You didn't mention the country you live in so I will suggest buying from virwox.com as they don't ask for ID verification's or anything but the fees are definitely high.
8474  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: an opportunity, need some Business Partner in bitcoin startup on: January 26, 2017, 03:49:33 PM
I'm definitely interested , I'm also a ASP.NET C# developer but I'm not really an expert . I would like to hear more information's about your project and how It's going to work though before taking any decisions. I'm from Africa btw , I'm not sure If North Africa is one of your targets or not.
8475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did faucetbox close up shop on: January 26, 2017, 03:28:15 PM
It's simply because It was no longer profitable for them and I'm assuming this will happen to other services like It happened to Microwallet and Faucetbox in the past , unless those faucet scripts sites find a way to monetize their products , they will eventually close.
8476  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Collection] Most useful Bitcoin Tools on: January 24, 2017, 05:45:32 PM
Hey OP, i found few typos at your thread. These typos at tools.bitcoin.com and Bitnodes services, it should be tools.bitcoin.com and https://bitnodes.21.co/ not http://url=https//coin.dance (wrong URL) and https://bitnodes.21.co/[/ (HTTP 404).
Also, it would be great to give warning that this thread isn't for discussing the tools.

I fixed the issues and I also added a warning on the top of the original post , hopefully people will read it this time.

...

I don't if this is really a tool (I would consider it one), but here is a way to find Bitcoin ATMs near you, this includes European ones:

https://coinatmradar.com/

Unfortunately "BTMs" tend to charge high fees (13% is typical), so higher than localbitcoins.com.  But, if the BTM is working, they can be convenient, and you don't have to set-up meetings with strangers.

I would really appreciate If you could follow the posted format , as for the service mentioned , how updated and active is it ? I don't want to list If It doesn't get updated frequently.
8477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Megaupload + Bitcoins on: January 24, 2017, 05:22:31 PM
I guess we had to see this coming and by "later this year" , I'm sure he means Q4 and nothing before that. I'm however having my doubts about the reason before the late progress. His tweet

8479  Economy / Exchanges / Re: e-coin.io / Bitcoin Debit Cards? on: January 23, 2017, 06:36:45 PM
E-coin.io have their official thread here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=917350.2700;topicseen I have used for a long time and most of the time without issues but they are lately having some issues , nothing critical but well , sometimes you could encounter issues while depositing or withdrawing the support became kinda slow. (It wasn't like that before)
If you want alternatives then go with CoinsBank It's probably the most serious service compared to others : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1242788.260;topicseen
