8461  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price At $4750 And Counting As Charlie Shrem Calls Below $100k ‘Cheap’ on: September 01, 2017, 12:31:01 PM
Bitcoin continues to push past $4700 as Charlie Shrem claims any price below $100,000 per coin is “cheap.”

Part of an increasingly large and prominent group of well-known names highly bullish on Bitcoin, Shrem made the comments on Twitter Thursday as the overall cryptocurrency market cap topped $170 bln.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-at-4750-and-counting-as-charlie-shrem-calls-below-100k-cheap

While I always welcome the news of Bitcoin price going high his statement is bit to much vague, and I don't really think it makes any sense, but I would say the prices does look cheap if someone is in for the very long haul, if all works good who knows we may see 5k very soon, there was news of Uber accepting it in one country, and I hope other countries also accept it. Bitcoin market is touching new heights, I would say it's affordable considering it can shoot up further.
8462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I sold my BCC ... on: September 01, 2017, 10:14:52 AM
They forked BTC and made BCC.  This means I had some BCC I never paid for, so I just put it in an exchange and brought some BTC with it.  Now, I only had 0.3 BTC but there must be with loads who have a darn sight more and who got a LOT of BCC for nothing.  This raises some questions.

  • Can it be good for the crypto economy if a load of money suddenly appears out of nowhere?
  • How much BCC immediately got converted back into BTC?
  • What's to stop people forking again, just to make a killing like this?

Was BCC good or bad in this respect?

You were smart enough to exchange it for Btc, I never took it cause it's a big filled coin, and I don't like it at all. There is nothing to stop people they may attempt to do so, what I have heard is Bitcoin gold is planning to do the same, but I don't think they will survive for long, cause Bitcoin is recovering back and they shall have majority of the hash I feel, all other morgul alts shall die.
8463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest threats to Bitcoin prices in next 12 months on: September 01, 2017, 08:34:18 AM
And more importantly when?

I subscribe  to another financial site concerning house prices and the economy, a few of them have got cold feel over bitcoin, not me I might add Smiley

Some people are crying that bitcoin cash is a threat, but I really don't feel it is, I feel it shall disappear soon, then there is a threat of government that's always been there and will always be there, many countries are yet to accept some yet consider it illegal and way for terrorists, other than that the usual if any more forks take place, or suddenly miners go berserk and increase fees, however considering recent trends and prices I don't see any issue, if you have coins I would say keep them locked away for huge profits.
8464  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Jumps Above $4,800 for the First Time on: September 01, 2017, 04:38:16 AM
Bitcoin's price briefly passed above the $4,800 mark for the first time today.

According to data from CoinDesk's Bitcoin Price Index (BPI), the price of the cryptocurrency hit a high of $4,802.74, before falling back to levels seen over the past few hours of trading.

Courtesy: CoinDesk

Guys what would be opinion upcoming months and what is expected price in upcoming year. Normally price use to bump when we nearing new from Dec 20 to Jan 1.

This is really some amazing news and if you been following recent events I am not even surprised that it shot up. I feel that the price shall be low 5000$ and 5500$ as High. I feel all the indicators are pointing towards a growth and that it shall be very soon we will see high levels. With the global conflicts happening and more countries adopting it, people I believe we will sooner witness another big bull run.
8465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uber’s New CEO Is a Bitcoin Fan on: August 31, 2017, 09:53:35 AM
Interesting article about Uber's New CEO. Looks like Uber might be taking bitcoin soon.

http://fortune.com/2017/08/30/uber-ceo-dara-khosrowshahi-bitcoin/

That's good news for the community and that's welcome news for people and if I remember correctly there was a thread out here which said Uber accepts Bitcoin in one of the country, I have forgotten the name but the article came right after its ex charhiman was removed, maybe they were already planning this. If Uber does decides to adopt it, will be huge for Bitcoin industry.
8466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: So successful it needs to be changed? on: August 31, 2017, 04:45:56 AM

Nice way to promote your own link and get some free traffic in the way. Look every one has different and mixed opinions of Bitcoins, but for a rare chance consensus was reached and that's what changed the Bitcoin for ever my friend. Yes there were lots of news, but I believe that it was all paid news and more or less work of centralized institutions. I feel we should go with the flow and let's it continue as it is. I am really happy with the way it is.
8467  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 ICO ANNOUNCE 15 AUG 2017! JOIN THE TRANSFORMATION! 🎰🎰🎰 on: August 30, 2017, 05:39:08 PM
yeah my bad, it is at $8.6 mil already. Should punch through the $10 mil easy  Cool
Yeah almost at USD $9,254,059.00 already!

how join ? end ?
You can still join the ICO,the sooner you join, the better bonuses.ICO ends on 15th September. You can visit the following link to become a part of the ICO : https://ico.bitdice.me/en/

What's the final best guess?! $15 mil? $20 mil? ...?

Maybe it will be nice to create a small..."guess contest" about this! Grin
I'm sure that Bitdice fans and supporters will be excited with such contest... Tongue

Hahaha I like this idea, but then again they are doing enough bounties for the ico and they have put Facebook, Twitter also they have added YouTube so I don't think any other contest is required, also I feel that end amount should reach at least 15 million, Alex and Bitdice have really strong reputation and I am very happy to be associated with them.
8468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your first betting? on: August 30, 2017, 04:26:10 AM
Some of us have known gambling since childhood. well, I want to ask you what your first bet is .... if I bet with my friend when playing snake ladder who will be the winner at that time. that's the way make me knowned about gambling.

Well my very first bet was on a cricket match, till then I absolutely hated betting. So we were in this lecture, and my friend was playing on a team, I don't know what happened to me and I was like, okay let's play I took a stand opposite his team. It was one of the best nail bite finish matches and my team won and I won handsomely and that's what got me into betting in the first place. Ever since I haven't looked back.
8469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On Which device do you Gamble? on: August 30, 2017, 04:22:56 AM
This is for educational purposes, thanks for any feedback.

If you could tell further what do you mean it's for educational purposes, either you need it for your studies or you planning to make a site. Well I use it on both, and that depends where I am. If I am at home or office then desktop, if I am outside mobile. In this current world the site has to work on all the platforms, and I feel people use it on mobile more, cause it's easier and convenient. So I vote for mobile devices. And then lastly it depends how well the site works on mobile.
8470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: August 29, 2017, 11:50:41 AM
Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink

Its a difficult question if one sees it, there some who have never used digital money at all, and for them it's a violation of their privacy if they are forced to use it. Then there are those who prefer to use digital cash, one it's easy to carry it and use it, no need to carry the weight of it. I don't think that digital currency can ever end paper money, cause people get paper money far more easily then digital money, also lots of frauds happen due to cards. Personally I prefer to use both and it's difficult to see a world where only one of them exist. Maybe one of them could be less but all together over no.
8471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A fairer future to one at the path on: August 29, 2017, 09:15:14 AM
Cryptocurrencies are the best investments of all-time and still the best performing financial assets of the last 3 years. Assets with such charateristics are exactly what the richest and most powerful people are always looking for and exactly what the poorest of the poorest can only dream of.

Not only are these assets the best investments of all time and still the best performing of the last years but they are reducing governments power and redistributing them in the hand of the people. This is also exactly what everyone is looking for rich or poor.

Everyone is under the threat of a government. Everyone is trying to protect themselves and their wealth from governments' reach.

While I do agree with your views that bitcoin is the best assect I don't agree with the point that it's only for the rich, and not the poor, the rich can maybe buy it outright but the poor can earn it via doing jobs and there are so many ways to earn them. It's a wrong notion that rich people can only use them, it's a wrong belief, and it's sad that people actually believe it. Yes the government is getting into it, and soon there may be no free bitcoins world, but till we are able to enjoy it, let's do it.
8472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get bitcoin every days? on: August 29, 2017, 08:36:24 AM
How can you earn 40 dollars a day in bitcoin?? , let's share the knowledge on this topic , and hopefully we get more success after share my experience in here

There no shortcut to earn the amount you want to earn, the only way to earn is get yourself a huge amount of referrals on freebitco.in use reward points to earn more satoshi's and then get interest, another way whatever coins you have put it in freebitco.in and earn daily interest. Then you could get yourself in a signature campaign and that's the best way to earn some serious money. Ico is another option, and you could take part in the bounties. There is a gambling pot of premier league in case you follow it, some serious cash to be made.
8473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: And now Vietnam to legalize Bitcoin on: August 28, 2017, 04:44:04 PM
Earlier vietnam was very skeptical about bitcoin just like China and Russia. But now,it has changed its stand and has decided to legalize bitcoin. It is said that new regulations would be implemented by the year end.

         www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-08-26/vietnam-plans-legalize-bitcoin-2018

Strange that Vietnam has decided to now make a move and that will extend to next year but while it's a good move, and this shall give a boost for Bitcoins, it will be interesting to see what kind of regulations do they apply. Will they have a ease way of doing business or will they imply lot of restrictions, I hope other countries follow suit, but I fear soon we shall not have a free bitcoins world.
8474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Discourage by our country. on: August 28, 2017, 11:12:49 AM
Why it is that Bitcoin is not accepted in our country (Nigeria)?

Well the answer that works for mostly all the country's is that it's not a legal currency, and very few countries have accepted it, and many countries do not really like it. Now why they don't like it, cause you can't track the owner of Bitcoins, there is no reverse payment, one can technically disappear with his coins and no one will even know where he went. No offence to your country but major scams are reported from Nigeria, and if it were to be allowed it could increase as it leaves no paper trail. So that's the simple reason why it's not keen, according to me that's the scene.
8475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion on: August 28, 2017, 09:24:34 AM
Season 8 leaks have started to go around the internet. According to the leak, Jon and Daenerys will have a baby and the remaining Starks will die?

That is hard to believe. But if the source is the same as the one who leaked the script from season 7 then it could be true.
I just read all the leaked scripts from the Season 8 an not all the Stark's are going to die, Only Bran is going to die alongside lots of the Main cast. Damn its going to be a bitter sweet affair and after Bran dies, the White Walkers will resurrect him and he will become the Night King again. This story is far from over.

Are these leaked scripts confirmed to be accurate? This might be a ploy by HBO to release fake scripts and make us think the series will go one way but really it will go the other way.

After the season 7 leaks, I reckon HBO will be wiser and more careful.
From the season finale i believe that the script for the season 8 that was leaked is totally valid, Because spoilers ahead Euron used his ships to carry the golden company from Essos to Westeros, which they will then use to conquer the country whiles they are fighting the Walkers and the Army of the Undead.Leaked scripts sounds legit to me.

Before today's finale there were two scrips one where cersei sets them on fire and dies two euron leaves, get golden mercenaries, Jamie walks away, there's snow in South and that short incest scene and tyrion watches the boat rocking. It's all true I read up to episode three and I am bit confused about bran being the night king, what is confirmed is that he shall be the reason why the king went mad in first place and yes he does travel back when the children of forest make the first white Walker, and he dies cause he's a idiot, meera tries to safe him but he fails to, see denerys is pregnant lol and so far Jon, Sansa, arya, and denerys tyrion are safe. But those scrips are true now that this finale is come. But it's really sad scripts, got is turning boring and without ideas.
8476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The time is WWIII, what are our Bitcoin Doomsday Preppers doing? on: August 28, 2017, 09:16:28 AM
We live in some dangerous times, where countries are pointing nuclear missiles at each other. We should be prepared for everything and that includes, protecting our technology/currency.

We have seen Bitcoin going into space! Blockstream Inc. plans to make the digital ledger underpinning the cryptocurrency accessible via satellite signal so people without Internet access, or in places where bandwidth is expensive, can trade and mine bitcoin. The company also touts the service as additional layer of reliability for bitcoin’s blockchain data in the event of a network disruption.

Merchants using Bitcoin payment processors should re-think their strategy, because these payment processors are linked to the fiat systems and those networks might be compromised during a nuclear attack.

How are you planning to keep the power on and where will you be buying bitcoins when the power is down at your local exchange? < One more reason not to store your coins at your local exchange >

Mobile networks might also be down or overloaded when communications infrastructures are damaged. Internet access might also be disrupted, if these attacks are combined with Cyber attacks.

What redundancy are implemented at third party services to prepare for the worst?

Share with us, what prepping are you planning for in a Doomsday scenario?

First of all there won't be a wwiii, cause countries like usa and Korea know they can't afford to attack each other and India and China are standing down so for the time being we can be at peace. If in case it does happen, first priority to protect myself and then to move to a safe country or pass my coins to someone who's on a safe country, that's the only way to protect your coins, one risk is that person may not give you back, but at that time it won't even matter.
8477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do to prevent bitcoin from crashing? on: August 28, 2017, 03:26:04 AM
Hi! I know this might sound obvious to anyone but I really want to know in what way we can do our share to bitcoin to prevent it from crashing. I am still a Jr. Member and I still don't know everything about bitcoin that's why I am asking some help.
Almost all of us have high hopes that someday we will rejoice with bitcoin so altogether we must do our fair share in order bitcoin to survive.

You are a Junior member and even when you become a legendary member you won't be able to anything lol. This forum doesn't control Bitcoins, it's only a place to exchange information and learn and earn. While as a individual there nothing much one can do, you can do is promote it with your friends, family and make sure people use Bitcoins for transactions, more the and less the supply will get us high prices, it will further gain momentum if your country adopts it faster.
8478  Other / Off-topic / Re: BITCOIN TALK USERS MOSTLY ARE??? on: August 28, 2017, 03:19:46 AM
MALE
FEMALE

in my own perspective there are 90% of males are using bitcoins rather than females...
and I also based that when I will read in this forum..

it shows that MALE use the internet to earn money and do hardships for some bucks..
but they find bitcoin few years and started to bump up..
and now they started to mine.. etc

let me know guyzz I am not racist or else but let me know how may female and male are using bitcoin to earn few bucks

This is the weirdest questions ever asked, cause you first ask the question then you only give the answer to it, but then in your entire long question you have not quoted why you need this answer? By the way males and females do work equally and not all males spend time on the net for Bitcoins, yes I am male and I do come to this forum but not that I am here 24/7. I come in my free time, this is a insulting post unless you choose to edit it op. Or justify why you need this kind of data, when you are already made your opinions.
8479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 27, 2017, 10:36:34 AM
Another week start by Sri Lanka. If this partnership breaks then they'll be in trouble again. They should make every ball count for runs otherwise it'll be too hard to defend. My bets are on India and hoping to win once again.

India is the way far the superior side out here and they are going for the kill from the first ball. Srilanka really don't have a clue and I only wonder how long is it before their entire team crumbles, they lack self confidence and the belief that they can at least put up a good fight, their glory days are way past them, maybe just recall Sangakqra and Jayawardene they will perform better yet
8480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC fees exploding and BTC will crash down on: August 27, 2017, 06:46:11 AM
As soon as possible, if fees will go down for a short time, I will sell Bitcoin and hold other cryptocurrencies and hope others will also do so until fees go down.

No very bad idea, fees are high no doubt but that doesn't mean that you sell btc when low fees come and hope to get back in, you never may get back that chance ever thought of that. I would say you choose electrum wallet set your own fees, transactions will happen slow but at least you will save on your fees. High fees or not, never giving up on bitcoins, it's the best and it's only a matter of time before fees come down.
