8481  Economy / Economics / Re: Lost Bitcoins on: July 06, 2018, 06:54:07 AM
One of my friends bought about 5000 bitcoin few years ago when the price was just a few dollars. He lost his wallet address. He was almost become mad. When the price reached to $20k, he was searching for his address. Finally he found his wallet address and now he is the richest person in the community. 5000 bitcoin is very huge amount and losing such huge money will make you crazy.
Good for him that he eventually found the control to the wallet. There are so many people who actually could not even get access and totally lost hope already to finding their wallet and only to keep looking at the block explorer to see the value of their funds increasing.

It is one of those things anyway and that is one of the reasons why the deflationary aspect of bitcoin makes sense and no matter what, the number of satoshi that makes up a single bitcoin like someone rightly said while reading through the forum is definitely going to end up compensating for the lost ones.

Infinitely divisible virtual currencies and inflated fiats are not comparable each other in my opinion. Those number of lost bitcoins will have significant impact to rest of bitcoins in coming days, and we need to accept and may enjoy that as it will give positive impact in terms of price appreciation. Because, this is how Mr. Satoshi had assumed for betterment of the bitcoiners and designed the bitcoin system.
8482  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices are falling! on: July 06, 2018, 06:13:01 AM
The price fall and rise is the feature of bitcoin. It keeps fluctuating. Don't panic about it. The price will get increased very soon nearby.
Not just bitcoin but the feature of every market. It is normal and the way some of us pay attention and make it sound like a problem or bitcoin should just keep going up is absurd. There is simply no way where bitcoin is just going to end up like that unless we get to see real demand and for now, the market is even more in the speculative zone which makes it easily subjected to huge volatility.

Over time, I believe a lot of things will change anyway, but now we should just get used to buying the deep dips and selling the huge peaks. I never get panic when seeing the falling prices and also I never listen to any FUDs. When we are believing into the futures of bitcoins then making use of dips will become a practice by heart.
8483  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you see Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies in ten years? on: July 06, 2018, 05:33:19 AM
I think the growth of crypto currencys and bitcoin in the world over the next ten years will increase many times.l believe the price of bitcoin will reach $80000 over the next ten years.I think ethereum $60000 will cross.in the next ten years the number of investors will increase several times.application of bitcoin will increase.I believe people use crypto currency in places such as the coffee shop  market  hospital.
Obviously and I really do not see anything different than this at all. For almost 10 years that we have started this journey in the crypto world, we have seen immense growth in value and as well as development since the bitcoin in 2009 is not the same bitcoin today.

I can assume a lot that would have changed in another 10 years from now where we are going to possibly have started seeing real life usage in virtually most countries, a lot of development in the protocol to keep things even more interesting, as well as huge level of demand based on high adoption level.
8484  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy on: July 06, 2018, 03:38:41 AM
These days when people even tell me I am living in a fool’s paradise, I tell them thank you and we will meet in the future to know if I actually am or not. People will always talk and the best thing is to stick and believe in what you know which I understand that anyone that is actually investing in the space for the value it creates will find it easy to know that this is indeed times to be looking for to load up more. News, media, family, friends can say whatever they like, but judging from experience, it is always the best risk worth taking most especially when the market is looking for demand.
8485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Motivates you to Invest in Cryptocurrency? on: July 05, 2018, 04:43:55 PM
The volatility actually was the thing that motivated me to invest in cryptocurrency. The fact that with some pretty good knowledge and how to trade safely, you can get to make huge profit from this market is something no single person would want to discard as an investment or tradable option. However, the whole idea of blockchain technology and decentralization was the first major driving factor and every other thing is more like the advantages that comes with it which includes the volatility, even though some see that as a problem, but not me.
8486  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10 Mistakes you should never do in crypto trading✌✌ on: July 05, 2018, 01:42:51 PM

9/ Don't do day trading without proper knowledge. Before learning day trading don't go for it.Otherwise you will lose your all money.

I don't agree to this statement, As what they say experience and mistakes are the greatest teacher, don't be scared to lose. Whenever you lose in a trade don't forget to continue going forward.
It is hilarious when I see people come up with statements such as this about just hitting the market and trying to gain experience even without learning. Should I tell you what is imminent for you in such situation ?

Failure and a very huge one for that matter! You need to gain a lot of knowledge and start with practicing with the knowledge you have gained with little, which is where the experience will then start kicking in until you gain confidence and get better, but trying to use experience alone is more like trying to play with fire.
8487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Two important strategies in crypto trading on: July 04, 2018, 06:45:32 PM
In the cryptocurrency trade there are certainly many strategies that one uses. It depends on someone's interest. A combination of buy and hold strategy with daily trading strategy can provide many advantages if we are disciplined and patient.
I will say about the strategies I am following in this market are two; one is to follow the basic market rules and guiding principle which keep me alive in the market and another is the buying and selling time but I use not full amount of my wealth but normal amount which is my management to look for other works as well. These two are very important for me and without looking these two major strategies one can not survive in the market.
The first one strategy is to learn about the basic knowledge of market which will make you able to survive in the market. The next important strategy is to experience the crypto market by starting trade with Altcoin or Litecoin so that you may get much experience here which will polish your skills and here after real practice you will know about the science of trading and now you are able to enter into the Bitcoin for long term.
In every style of trading, the knowledge of analysis is extremely important and I do not see how anyone from day trader to long term trader can do well without it. However, what the OP mentioned are not strategies as they are simply more like styles of trading which the strategies come into play based on your knowledge of how to take advantage of the market in different time frames.

Hence, I believe the idea of wanting to mix both is something that sounds odd to me, which i believe for any trader, it is either you choose day trading based on your timing or you choose long term, I do not know, but choosing both sounds to me like conflict of interest.
8488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: July 04, 2018, 05:08:34 PM
well I live in a country where you can live like a king for 300$ a month , so I started playing poker 6years ago a little bit before I turn 18 and was able to make a living just playing the micro stakes sit n goes

recently I started taking sportsbetting more seriously and subscribed to some tipsters that have profitable past record and started my own journey with them
I'm tracking them in a thread here in the forums so you can check it out and see my progress

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1800883.msg17941510#msg17941510
$300 a month ? That actually got my attention and now you have given me an assignment of trying to look for the countries in such categories. However, that aside, gambling and success are actually like two things that usually do not come together in one sentence unless you are just lucky and smart at the same time.

Most gamblers are never lucky and most lucky ones are never smart to just do with whatever huge amount they win and just let their greed control them, so success in gambling except may be for few people who bet what they can afford to lose in your case when it comes to sport betting which can still come with some analysis though, I am not in any way agreeing with success in gambling. By the way, where are you from? Grin Yeah, I finally got the balls to ask..
8489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best dice site? on: July 04, 2018, 07:51:06 AM
Why do people even play dice? It's literally no different than Roulette in terms of winning.

Also, I notice people actually have dice strategies... Why even bother having a strategy for purely luck based games? Your strategy is literally hope you get lucky, that's it.... No point overcomplicating it because it wont reduce the house edge or improve your odds of winning in the long run.

Just play for fun, if you get rich doing so... Great! But don't count on it because it's extraordinarily unlikely. But certainly dice games aren't the best way to do so.
Yes, gambling as a whole is all about being lucky and not just dice game. However, I believe most new gamblers easily go for dice games since it is very easy to play without having to go through every possible reading and studying on how to play a particular game. Strategy generally is nothing even though it can help prolong your game based on how you go about it, but does not guarantee a win and like you has said it is better not to put too much hope. However, for the likes of freebitcoin, crypto-games and bitsler, they seem so far as the good ones without any issue so far.
8490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is best practice for gambling?? on: July 03, 2018, 06:27:34 PM
Gambling is all about luck and how much you can spend, but that can be bend if you statistically calculate how gambling works and understand and break down each possibility. If you are smart enough you'll understand it even by losing so sometimes it doesn't matter if you lose so much at first since after that there is a big win waiting for you.
I will wholly agree with you in this regard as I also have the same thinking as you are having that gambling is totally a luck dependent thing. Because I myself have made an analysis that the people who are lucky in all the aspects never lose or lose very little such that it is negligible. Also, math cannot help people to win the game like most of the people say.
Some people just simply like looking for something to keep their hopes up which is why the idea of math comes into argument most of the time when it comes to winning gambling or not. In fact, math is even better as some people have said several times that positive thinking will help you.

Anyone who is a gambler should realize it is a game of luck and the chance of losing is as much as the chances of winning which for the case of losing, it is more rampant. Keeping this in mind, will always help any gambler put them-selves in check when looking for best practices.
8491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have a bad feeling about this rally! on: July 03, 2018, 05:34:11 PM
There is no real demand for Bitcoin
There's no demand for bitcoin.

Yeah there's really no demand for bitcoin. Last time the price was $5,800 to $6,300 and now $6,600?

There's no demand. Ok
As much as I understand what you are trying to get at, I also understand what the OP is trying to get at lol. With this market currently, anyone trying to get in is going to have to be taking a lot of risk. This is not the first time a break out is manipulated and it is simply a way to get to squeeze out a lot of inexperienced traders and investors who are just busy gambling the market.

With a market like this, it is always better to wait for a very good confirmation before getting in at all. We may say there is a demand, but we cannot be so sure if it is a real demand or a bot induced one like the OP said.
8492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much you can profit from altcoins on: July 03, 2018, 04:50:57 PM
there really isn't any kind of limit to how much you can profit from investing in altcoins. it can be from losing 100% of your investment and going down to 0 up to millions of dollars!

it depends on a bunch of things. starting with your experience in trading and in knowing how altcoin market works conversely the pump and dumps. if you have no experience and want to randomly buy based on what others tell you and what they hype up then you will end up losing a lot of money.
then it also depends on how much you are willing to invest and take risks. obviously you can't become a millionaire investing $1 but you will be taking a much bigger risk investing a higher amount.
Yeah, a lot of factor matters and most of it depend on one's trading knowledge. One can make based on one's strategy or as much as one wants to, but it all depends on when the market simply looks like the possibility of a trend wants to change. However, in cases of bull run for altcoins, it can be very huge and can even start from as much as x10 and above for some alts. However, some still always get greedy and lose out anyway which is why greed is also an important thing in how much one makes or not.
8493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another phishing scam ICO project (Impressio) on: July 03, 2018, 01:54:11 PM
This is totally a scam, they are another lending company scam scheme just like the old ones.

See the scam accusation to them: IMPRESSIO (IMPR) - SCAM BEHAVIOUR

Their website is totally gone and unaccessible.
Are you guys really kidding me right now ?
The problem here is that everyone who was a part of this project and need money himself should be blamed.

This project was really obvious and a lot of people stated it on their Ann thread, but since they are always busy buying posts and letting it get covered with the real questions and complaints, they go scot free. Immediately I set my eyes on this team, I did not even bother going further with knowing anything about it further. No product whatsoever that is tangible, the team sucks, and you guys fell a victim and then looking for whom to blame? Come on !
8494  Economy / Economics / Re: regulation and legalization of cryptocurrency on: July 03, 2018, 08:21:19 AM
I think having strict regulation for ICO would make it possible for innocent investors to be protected from being  cheated, alot of individuals out there come up with eye catchy ICO's all in the name of making people get rich quick and at the end of the day they lose everything. The crytocurrency market would be set back if relevant regulations are not imposed on ICOs.
The existence of strict regulation, the ICO will make this business unprofitable. Now there are many regulatory mechanisms in Fiat and what did it save you from scams? It seems to me that attempts to impose regulation of ICO projects is a disguised desire to destroy a competitor and save the stock market from collapse.
It is really a disguise as far as I am concerned, but at the end of the day, we used our own hands to bring that upon ourselves. First, scammers invaded the space and started taking shit load of money from gullible investors, and talking about gullible investors, since it is a decentralized space, it became so easy to get them deceived until they totally start losing a lot.

All these things put together made the ICO space a dangerous space which should not be, and now we have no choice than to submit to regulation in a way because of those who simply cannot do a simple research to understand if an ICO is worth investing or not.
8495  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Viber, WhatsApp, skype, WeChat, Snapchat, IMO, Line not conduct IСO? on: July 03, 2018, 06:47:58 AM
Maybe because they dont need it.They gain lots of money already without conducting ICO project. There are lots of scam ICO project they might afraid it will give negative feedbacks in their company. So they rather stick to what they have and improved it more than risking the reputation of their company.
Yeah, if I have a product, the essence of looking for fund through ICO is to at least be able to use that fund to build the product further and develop it to a standard level for global usage and all I need is to get those who can believe in me and the product based on that aspect.

For products such as the ones mentioned by the OP, these are products that are already doing well in the social media and chat space, so trying to conduct ICO simply makes no sense to me. They will not be the first to do this anyway, as I have seen several old cargoes trying to eat the piece of the ICO cake, but it makes no single sense. In fact, I would suspect such move a whole lot.
8496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin prices are controlled. Accidentally or intentionally? on: July 02, 2018, 05:06:53 PM
We all know that song mystic Whales are manipulating the price of Bitcoin,  and still bitcoin has a great affect on all of other cryptocurrencies, so basically I can tell the biggest guys with biggest portfolios, can swing the market.
Yes, I guess we have seen that already so many times. It is just a way of accumulating at the dumps when all the weak hands have left the market and taken their losses like that, and then pushing the market up and dumping when all the FOMOs have kicked in again which makes it a rinse and repeat process.

Only until people started investing in a project with good support and real life usage without panicking and believing its future and not because they are looking for ways to get rich quick, before we will keep seeing such manipulations subside and as long as that is in play, the whales will keep having a filled day.
8497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your Opinion on PUNDI X (NPXS) on: July 02, 2018, 12:19:45 PM
PUNDI X sends you an additional 7% of your coins held each month until the end of the year. So if you have 100 coins on your listed wallet or Coinbene Exchange, at the end of the month they send 7 coins to your wallet (Airdrop).  This way you always increase, and you can wait out fluctuations.

Good crypto Project! Their POS machine (creditcard machine + crypto + many others) takes direct crypto payments in Bitcoin and Pundix.

Coin buy-back coming!
I believe it is going to have a comeback as well as any other coin or token that has taken a huge dip after listed on exchanges and most especially during this period.

Pundi-X is not an exception and it seems from this, the team sure has a lot of good things going on for the project. Things may look a little bleak now and it is actually something anyone should have gotten used to, but this does not mean it is the end, because once the market recovers, it sure will end up recovering as well and even doing better.
8498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to take the risk in trading? on: July 01, 2018, 04:55:24 PM
First of all you need to get rid of your emotions. You can't trade if you are emotional about your positions. Then risk management is a MUST. You need to set clear Stop-Loss areas and have a TP target. Also to minimize risk you can move up your SL to secure profits. Thoroughly analyse your trades, don't hurry and take your time. Remember, not taking a position is also a position! Wink
Actually, getting rid of your emotions is the last part in trading, because you will need to learn and practice before you can even eliminate that emotion completely. As long as you do not have the knowledge, the experience from long term practice to formulate a good strategy for yourself, and a huge level of confidence from the first two that I have mentioned, then there is no way you will never get emotional due to the nature of the market which brings about the risk, but with you taking your time to put all these three together, emotion will not even be a worry, because it won't be there.
8499  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might rise soon on: July 01, 2018, 07:00:01 AM
Im very happy now , because the price is stable to more than 6000 dollars and I hope the price will n9t down. If we noticed the price decreased under 6000 dollars but after few hours only they back at that price. I hope the price become $7500 like what you want.
Even re-bouncing from here now does not mean we have finally hit the bottom for this short term. The market overall is in a bear trend and even if we see any reversal now, it is going to be a short reversal and not some extremely bullish activity. Nevertheless, that is needed as that would at least give some of us traders some fun which has been lacking for a while now without much activity in the market except for some day traders anyway which for this market, is a lot of risk to be taking.

As per many people, the whole crypto market has started its up trend from last Friday onward. But we need more confirmation. Some altcoins like ada and waves are showing decent level of up trend in last two days. Bitcoin also moved around $600 positive which is more than enough for confirming another 2 or 3 weeks of up trends.
8500  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hi Legendaries! Any predictions as to when will the bitcoin will rise frm 2day? on: June 30, 2018, 11:46:02 AM
Hi Legendaries!  Any strong predictions as to when will the bitcoin will rise from today's price?

Gathering wise answers from you  Smiley  Thanks Guys! Cheesy
Legendary as in terms of rank ? Come on mate..
Legendary members are not gods and none of us can see the future or predict how things would be like in coming days. We only have the chart and analysis to help us see if it is safe to enter a trade or if it is best to exit a trade and until then, nothing is guaranteed.

I hope though that we can see a short reversal from current levels, but nothing is certain except for us to wait for how that support will play out, otherwise all we will just be doing is gamble all the way while missing a good chance or possibly end up panicking for someone who may not know what move to make from there.
