So we have a real mystery here! You are not denying it, which could be seen as another way of confirming it, hmm. I guess time will tell. Anyways, if it's true, then congratulations are in order. Welcome to the club of trying your best to share your source merits to those who deserve them without looking like a jerk who overlooks merit-worthy posts.

You are trying to invent a method which is ultimately less secure than using standard ways of storing your seed and additional passphrase.
Let's say you do it the way you explained. You write down the seed with the words in a scrambled order on one piece of paper. On the second paper, you write down the correct order of the words.
What did you get from that? Finding the note that shows the correct order of words is useless by itself. So far so good. But if someone found your seed, they could maybe brute-force it (even without knowing the correct order of words) to discover the correct order with the technology available today or one developed in the future. Maybe, the note with the scrambled seed is all that is needed for you to lose your coins to a well-prepared hacker.
If you used a recommended model with seed + passphrase, here is what you have. You have your seed on one piece of paper. If someone found that, they still wouldn't have access to your wallet protected by the passphrase. If someone finds the paper with your passphrase, they can't do anything with that alone without the seed. If you use a strong and long enough passphrase, it's impossible to brute-force it. Andreas Antonopoulos recommends using 4-6 random words as a passphrase. You can use 6, or 8, or 10... if you want.
If you compare the two models, you see that the 2nd one is better because finding either the seed or the passphrase alone gets you nowhere. In your model, finding the seed could potentially lead to trouble. Why lower the security of your coins even by 1% if you can use standard recommendations?

It is important to emphasize that coins are always stored in the blockchain, in a big bank, so it doesn't matter what software you will choose to manage your keys: as long as you retain control over keys unlocking your personal deposit boxes, you can be sure that coins are accessible for spending. That depends. Are you the only one in possession of the keys to your deposit boxes? Do you have a way to check that no copy of the keys have been made? With open-source software, you can inspect the code yourself if you know how to, of course. You can read security reviews or trust that someone knowledgeable enough checked the codebase. With close-source software, you can't verify the code and you have to rely on the honesty of the developers of that software.

My detection algorithm has spotted another two merit sources: 1) HCP 2) FatFork who is active on the Croatian local board Are you sure about FatFork? I don't think he is a merit source unless that happened in the last couple of days. The members of the Croatian local board would have found out about that, but there is no talk about him becoming a merit source from what I can see.

Some would say that a wrapped BTC is not the real BTC but let's not argue over that. Thanks for the suggestion, but I share that opinion myself. Wrapped bitcoin is a token that doesn't use Bitcoin's native blockchain and can therefore not be considered as bitcoin. I have seen some other casinos offer wBTC as well but never paid that much attention to it. Sooner or later you have to exchange it back to the real bitcoin, so whatever you think you saved on withdrawal fees today, you will pay tomorrow with the conversion into bitcoin and withdrawal to your private wallet from whatever exchange you used.

1. Culture can generally be called ideas, norms, behaviors including rules and regulations guiding a particular people. If the above is correct, it will also be correct to say that bitcointalk has its own culture and/or cultural heritage and should not be overridden. True. The rules of Bitcointalk are more important than what you know is applied in other forums or wherever you hang out. Users here are expected to adhere to Bitcointalk's local rules even though they are unofficial. If you come to my house, you take your shoes off. I don't care what you do at your place. Next time we go to your place, I will keep my shoes on if I have to or I simply won't come. 5. MOST importantly, I have a proposal that to every newbie, there should be a warning "Do Not Copy/Paste other people’s work without Citing". This warning will remain at the top of the newbies page immediately after the menu bar. Maybe until the newbie will become a Jr member before it can be removed. Many good ideas have been proposed already, including welcome messages of various forms, but nothing is happening on that front.

Unfortunately this is not something that can be observed only on Bitcointalk. In today's social-media dominated world, I am sure many of you have come across those new blogs and news sites that bombard you with recent headlines and clickbait. When you start reading the content, you think this is actually not bad. But then when you are done, you notice the last part that says source and points to a popular news agency. All copy/pasted word for word with no original content. But since they added the source, they are good to go.

I remember that there was an instance of plagiarism even against someone like "Lauda", who i believe was never at a loss of words and would have been silly to use someone else's words. There was, yeah. I think Lauda even said something like if someone were to go through all his/her posts, they could probably find cases where there are missing sources. I am not 100% sure about this, but I think that's how I remember it. Then again, writing 2000 plus posts over 4 years while reading articles and gathering information from multiple sources, is it possible that a person's words may seem plagiarized. I think it is difficult to come to a conclusion without some real world exercise. I thought and wrote about that yesterday. If someone browses this forum, reads books about Bitcoin, and watches YouTube videos on that subject, that person has probably acquired all kinds of info and knowledge that he will remember. Naturally, it's hard to remember what you heard or read where. But when making a post or replying to someone on Bitcointalk, you can always say something like: "I read", "I remember seeing", "Member X said in one of his posts", "I can't remember the source, but...."
All that relieves you of the responsibility that you are trying to make it look like what was written are your words. You don't have to cite the source for everything if you don' know it, but make sure to mention that someone else said it. I haven't looked into what Mpamaegbu and Pokapoka124 are blamed for, so this is only a general recommendation. Imagine you like helping others with their issues regarding Bitcoin, wallets, security, etc. Now imagine there are 5, 10, 20, X number of other people doing the same. All of you have similar interests, you are all writing similar recommendations, use similar terminology, phrases, etc. Sooner or later, there will be 2 or3 posts that lookalike. But that's why admins take their time and probably consider many factors before applying the ban hammer.

I want to know, if appeals on plagiarism are made, do users opinions on the matter actually count or we are just witnesses to see how the affected will be able to convince the admin(s) that banned him. It's hard to say. The user sometimes has to prove why he should be unbanned, how he is a positive member of the forum, and what the community would lose if he is no longer here. It obviously helps if other members show support for that individual. My answers for your questions below are not related to this case, but how it is in general. 1. Was the user accused of any other plagiarism save the one in OP? You could get banned for just one instance of plagiarism. But usually there are more unless a mistake was made as was the case with Mpamaegbu. 2. Was the intention behind the plagiarism to pass the content as his or to make money? If the member is in a signature campaign at the moment the post was plagiarized, the punishments tend to be more severe. It's either a permanent ban or a 1-2 year signature ban. 3. If mods or self locks a thread, can the thread creator edit the contents of the thread even when it's locked? If you lock your own thread, you can open it again, post in it, or edit your posts. If the mods lock your thread, you can't open it yourself or edit existing posts. 4. If someone is accused of plagiarism in a particular post, does the person have the right to edit the post(add citation)under accusation? Accused or not, you can always edit any of your posts or delete them. But usually if a copy-pasted post is discovered and reported, mods will delete it and it can already be to late for you. 5. Has the user contributed meaningful to the forum over the time? That's the most important factor to determine whether he will be pardoned or not. That and the share amount of plagiarized posts in question. 6. Are some plagiarism cases given accelerated attention than others? Some users can be unbanned the same day. But there have also been cases where users have waited a year or two for a second chance. 7. Is there some considerations in treating a perpetual plagarist and a one time plagarist? The more posts you plagiarize the harder it will be for you to not get banned. 8. Can any other punishment other than permanent ban be given a one time apologetic plagarist? The post in question gets deleted and no other actions are taken. Admins also issue 1 and 2-year signature bans.

I always award merit to merit sources so that they can have more merit to splash on other members. You always do that? When did you do that? You have sent 3 merits to 2 different users so far. Both users are (or were) 1xbit casino promoters with negative trust. And one of the posts you have merited has been deleted in the meantime.

So there is a financial incentive for people to look for things such as plagiarism, alt accounts, and other frowned upon behavior by those in the CM campaign. Are you sure that's a real thing? I've never heard anybody say anything about that. I am sure no one gets paid to do that. The only service similar to that is the Bounty Police by Royse777. But maybe there is an unofficial bounty you can get from campaign managers if you contact them in private and propose you find rule-breakers if they pay you a bounty for your work. Who knows. Maybe when PrimeNumber7 said that there is "financial incentive to look for plagiarism", he meant there is the possibility for someone to take the place of a user who has plagiarized in a well-paying campaign. For example, I am someone who wants to get into a campaign but the campaign is full. I perform some research to see if there are examples of plagiarism with some of its members. I find one fall guy, I report a few of his posts, and he gets banned. The campaign then opens for new participants, so I apply and maybe get accepted. It's a long shot, but still.

Posts which are considered as spam are not related to the topic then it will be deleted when a mod see it or when someone report it. His reply was related to the topic. He even briefly mentioned a flaw he found with the service he tested. In general your posts will be deleted if you post generic replies or saying something which has been already told even in the same thread a million times already. That didn't happen either. His post was the first and only post made in that particular thread. Don't reply to in a mega thread A post isn't necessarily bad/spam/off-topic just because it's in a megathread. If the problem is with the thread itself, then it's the thread that should be deleted or locked. Avoid posting one liners just for the sake of increasing your post count No arguments there. One liners and replies that don't move the discussion in the right direction should be avoided. Avoid replying to a very old thread when it doesn't necessary True, but there are also valid reasons why you could do it and where it would be deemed necessary.

There is no detail information provided by the owner related to the mixer, Why would a casino or cryptocurrency exchange have a mixer anyways? They are already a mixer and can be used to mix your coins in a way and remove the trace of where they came from. All the coins that get deposited all pooled together. When you make a withdrawal, you are issued different coins than what you initially deposited. If the casino has an internal exchange, you can even withdraw a different asset and break the link completely.

I would be wary of doing this for a couple of reasons. Clipboard malware could obviously change the address, but so could anything malicious on your email provider's servers. I check the whole address before copying it and then I check it again when I paste it. My private work area has pens and papers all around and I usually note down part of the address on paper. I also check it on a block explorer if it's been part of the draft for a few hours. It's also a privacy risk... That's true and I agree with you on that part. I would prefer to use QR codes or a USB drive, same as I would use for moving transactions back and forth to an airgapped device. I use QR codes when a mobile is part of the story. In this case, it's two computers. I have separate USBs for all of my devices. A USB for one of my machines wont be used with the other ones. And if I have to take something to a copy shop for example, I have a USB for that, and that one only goes into the machine with the least importance to me. It gets formatted every time.

I read somewhere online that bitcoin has high security features if the user can do the right practices to secure it. This means that the fault is not with the bitcoin, but on the users themselves who fail to secure their bitcoin with proper practices. That's exactly right. The Bitcoin protocol does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's the end user who makes mistakes and then blames it on the coin, wallet, exchange, etc. When people suffer financial losses they call the features that bitcoin possesses weaknesses. But irreversibility is not a weakness. Those who are used to traditional banking don't understand that once your transaction is confirmed, that's it. There is no customer support to turn to to fix it or say you were hacked. If you send coins to the wrong address - Bitcoin worked as advertised, it was you who made a mistake. If you don't backup your seed properly or at all and you lose access to your coins - Bitcoin still functions the way it's supposed to. You just didn't do what was necessary to protect what you have. If you overpay the transaction fees by 500% - Bitcoin didn't scam. It did what you wanted it to do. Resetting and reinstalling it, won't it break the functionality of the wallet itself, or won't it affect anything on the device and the device will return to factory settings? No, that just wipes the device clean and resets it to the state it was in when you first bought it. You can use multiple seed phrases with the same device if you wanted to. But it would be tiring having to recover different wallets from seed if you do that often. I will buy it in the future, but I really have to learn it from now on. To verify, I hope I can find the correct toturial later. A getting started guide would either come with the package or it will point you towards the correct link where you can read more about it.

I wanted to check out your site but seems I have to register to see what you are offering. I don't like being forced to register if I don't want to. You have also not included any FAQ or TOS that I could read before signing up to see whether or not my country is restricted, etc. I don't know what payment methods are accepted or your limits or withdrawal fees. All that should be accessible and available so players an make up their mind whether to join your casino or not.

Do not hesitate to share your thoughts about it I took a quick look at it. I didn't know that FreeBitcoin had a Wheel of Fortune. I haven't visited the site for a long time. Trying my luck with the Wheel of Fortune is a good reason to come back. Good review and easy to read. Can you introduce a night mode by any chance? it's not very pleasant looking at the white background for long.

Anyhow, back to the topic. How about introducing three strikes rule? First strike - a warning, second strike - a temporary ban, third strike - a permanent ban. Any changes that were to be made concerning plagiarized content and account banning would just bring about new discussions and complaints, such as: Where was this rule when I was banned? I only had one plagiarized post, why did I not get a warning instead of a ban? Etc., etc.
