Box, Alex...  These ideas might interest you for BitDice's future poker site.

https://www.runitonce.eu/news/2-laying-the-groundwork/

I think RunItOnce is on to something here that could become the standard.  A no HUD site with dynamic avatars is some sort of a breakthrough for online poker imo.  It brings that 'live game' feeling into it.

Stoked.  I hope it goes online real soon.

Since Galfond's upcoming poker site was discussed here, then we might as well keep updating its progress...

Here's the latest from Galfond and it's looking good imo.  No HUD but with dynamic avatars showing how a player is playing from your own personal POV depending on how he has been playing against you.

Anyway, read about it below.  I think it's a breakthrough of sorts for online poker.

^  Before USADA, yes.  But with the UFC being strict on PED's use even at home, I think the Brazilians haven't been as dominant as before.  I would love to see the Brazilian win ratio before and after USADA...  Anybody know where I could find that data?
8504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 09, 2018, 01:09:47 PM
No way Mikel Arteta is leaving Pep to be Allegri's assistant at Arsenal.  Arteta is learning quite a lot from one the football's greatest managers, and I think he's already being groomed to be a manager himself, rather than being an assistant for another manager.

Added a poll, please vote.  Wink

Waiting on liverpool game not easy life for LFC
After thay have lost last game thay have to win next games
Battle for CL places will be untill last whistle

I hope their players don't play it safe too much.  I think in the back of their minds some of them are more careful not get injured because they have the CL final at the end of the month.

Nobody wants to end up like Ox did.  Lol.

Finally F1 is back in Europe.  Here's where it starts to get interesting as the stakes are getting higher and higher.  And the races are more prestigious imho due to their history in F1.

But I'm most excited to see what Verstappen would do in this one.  Grin

^  Yup sick relegation battle.  Both should be playing their guts out...  Fun.  Wink

Anyway one thing I'll miss after Wenger leaving is seeing all the Arsenal fans go 'Wenger out' whenever they lose a game.  Rofl.

Can anybody give me the TLDR on the assumed double spend that happened recently?  I'm pretty sure it's nothing to panic about but still interested on what really went down...

^  Cool.  I'm wondering what was the rake schedule before the update?  Thanks.

And promoting new tourney's are always good for the site.  Do some of those tourney's offer a guarantee?  I think that would surely attract people both new and old to the game.
8510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: May 07, 2018, 01:15:08 PM
I want the final to be 3 - 3 and then go to penalties.  That would be the most ideal CL final for a neutral.  lots of goals and there's nothing as exciting as a penalty shoot out to decide the winner.  Wink
8511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 07, 2018, 01:07:32 PM
Good send off for Arsene Wenger at the Emirates: 5-0. Merci Wenger

And Chelsea with the victory are now 2 points away from Tottenham. And, as crazy as it sounds, there's actually a possibility that Liverpool might not make it into the top 4 (only if they lose against Brighton and Chelsea and Spurs win their respective matches  Roll Eyes ) We're gonna have an exciting end of the season in the EPL.

Yup.  I love making fun of Wenger, but now that he's going away, I think I might actually miss him.  Lol.  Weird...

And yeah, Liverpool could play their way to bad form psychologically for the next two EPL fixtures with the CL final waiting on May 26, if that makes any sense.

8513  Economy / Speculation / Re: This Could be the Move You're Looking For on: May 06, 2018, 01:17:18 PM

What doesn't make sense to me are some people who become bullish when things are falling apart and heed caution when BTC starts gaining some monentum again.

So you don't know Warren Buffet famous quote then?

“Be Fearful When Others Are Greedy and Greedy When Others Are Fearful”

I think that quote was said by one of the Rostchilds, not Buffet.  Not sure but you go look it up and report back, thanks.

And no, it's not my style.  I don't have an unlimited bankroll like they do.  I assume you do?

Haven't you heard of the saying 'Never catch a falling knife'?

No it was buffet. Rotschild said: "the time to buy is when there's blood in the streets."

But anyway to each their own.

Momentum traders actually have you to thank for catching the fall.  It slows it down and prevents hitting the mometum trader's stop losses.  Wink

Again with the sayings.  Rofl.  They're only good if you're as rich as them and those titans are basically the market.

To be honest, we're probably going to see a huge correction soon.

It's funny as someone else said, that people were reluctant to buy when prices were lower at $6000-8000 and yet, right now, they are extremely bullish regarding bitcoin's price movements in the short term. Doesn't really make much sense to me.

$10k resistance is still strong, and we experienced a pretty big pullback once again after the $10k level wasn't hit. And again, even if BTC does break $10k, I can't really see this being the move we should be looking for. It's more likely than not that $12k is going to present even more issues as a resistance. Plus, buying now at such high prices when I believe a correction is incoming soon is a pretty bad move, at least in the short run.

Yes doesn't make sense at all. Pseudo analysts/traders were telling people to sell just at the bottom in the 6000s because bitcoin was going to 3000, and now the same people are saying buy bitcoin at almost $10000 even if it could be a top or close to one. Absolutely ridiculous. Makes you wonder if there's an agenda behind that.

Now who would tell you to sell at the lows (if somebody did, he prolly has other plans)?  Rofl.  I for sure wouldn't.  I like trading the momentum at either direction long or short, then set stop losses to lose small and ride the trend for as long as I can with a trailing stop loss...  Just watch.  BTC is back babyyyy!

Edit:  Actually I would advice you to sell at 6000 USD when the momentum is going down if ever.  By 'sell' I mean go short.  Wink
8516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Classic ETC on Coinbase? on: May 06, 2018, 10:33:00 AM
Any chance that coinbase lists ETC?

If they don't add ripple, ETC would be the most appropriate for the next lsiting, IMO.

I heard it's Tron that's pushing hard to get listed on Coinbase.  But you can't really rely on the TRX community tho.  They took hyping on a whole new level.  Lololol.  Even Justin Sun's announcement that he would make an announcement' would pump TRX.  Cheesy

I don't know about huge but a correction is a given after the upswing BTC took as of late.

Yeah, I bet on slightly unfavourable outcomes - draws for Utd and Spurs, and then they go and lose. Guess when you gotta gamble against the odds, you gotta go really crazy in the EPL. 20 points for me so far, not even Liverpool winning 3-0 tomorrow will get me close to top 5.

@toke... no it was $10 each, unfortunately for you... so $20 in Bitcoin waiting for your address in PM. I don't mind to wait of course, who knows like you say, Mou loses his head and loses the next 2 games. At this stage, can't wait for this season to be over and smash my face into WC.

Dammit!  I swore I said it was a hundred each bet.  Lol. Grin

Anyway, yeah no rush.  Let's wait until the end of the season.  And YES, I'm with you...  Can't wait for the next season to start...  Following all the the business being done during the summer transfer window would be good too.

When you look at the names of Stoke City players, you do not know how they fell after 10 years of fighting in top flight. Perhaps the biggest mistake of patience on Hughes after the start of the disastrous repeated, patience burned the players' morale and concentration and did not change until it was too late. they had many problems like strikers and full backs Pieters is the slowest left back ever seen while Johnson most of the time was injured and didn't perform as good as he used to be only Butland carried the team and we will propably see him in Liverpool or City next he will be more usefull for Liverpool in my opinion.

If Butland wants first team football, he'll be better off with Liverpool.  Ederson is City's best signing this year imo...  He'll be the main GK for years to come imo.
