I'll go to Utah and do it if you cover transportation fees.

Are you willing to use an escrow / middleman?
8504  Economy / Speculation / Re: what's going to happen today? on: February 20, 2013, 01:35:43 PM
2 hours until US banks starts processing transfers since Thuesday!

Things that might be cheaper than a Bitcoin today:

-Facebook last price Thuesday: $28.32
-Silver last price today:           $29.92

My first bullish post since $5 (I'm still out, so no market manipulation here).

Thuesday? What's that?
8505  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculation: Coinbase causing these massive peaks and dips. on: February 20, 2013, 01:34:17 PM
Coinbase reeks of scam, whether they mean to be one or not. They appear to prevent customers from buying as the price goes up and preventing customers from selling as the price drops. "Technical issues" as a method of CYA is the oldest trick in the book.

The price has certainly been dropping as they've interrupted the chain.

I don't find this true at all.
8506  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold could become cheap fast, LOL on: February 20, 2013, 01:21:30 PM
Gold is ugly and useless, nobody needs it.
8507  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: February 20, 2013, 01:19:08 PM
Wanna buy some silver? Or just $$? My $36 auction is still at $5 although it contains silver and coins that would be worth $5 for one $1 coin (Eisenhower $). Pushing this to at least $36 minus shipping would be much appreciated Wink

Thanx guys Wink I thought I get bashed for this blatant spam Grin

You quoted yourself spamming?

It appears so.
8508  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good idea to buy Bitcoin now at $29? on: February 20, 2013, 01:15:34 PM
I honestly do not know. It might be, and then again it might be a moderately bad idea.

If you're buying them as a novelty and not investing heavily into BTC, then go ahead. If you're thinking of allocating your life savings into them, then do it if you want to take the risk.  You need to do your own due diligence.

I doubt that we'll go significantly below $10 unless the whole Bitcoin network fails. And I think we'll see much higher prices before correction. But I can't guarantee we won't be in the $10 to $20 range for an extended time after the current rally is over. On the other hand, I can't guarantee we'll see prices below $30 after this week, either.

What do you think prices will be after the correction?
8509  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good idea to buy Bitcoin now at $29? on: February 20, 2013, 12:49:14 PM

8510  Economy / Speculation / Is it a good idea to buy Bitcoin now at $29? on: February 20, 2013, 12:43:37 PM
Any opinions?
8511  Economy / Speculation / Re: What would happen if two pennybots fought? on: February 20, 2013, 12:31:44 PM
I've never actually watched two opposing pennybots at the same time. I'm kind of interested in what would happen: would they waste all their money on dismantling both the best ask and best bid, or are they smart enough to avoid fighting?

Pennybot war of course
8512  Economy / Speculation / Re: OMG! Bitcoins are going to $389,000 each! on: February 20, 2013, 12:27:09 PM
The fact that I can use bitcoins to buy pizza is all I ever wanted. Everything else is just a bonus.

50,000 BTC?
8513  Economy / Speculation / Re: why you are buying back your bitcoins... on: February 20, 2013, 12:23:31 PM
I see bitcoins like a ponzi right now, everyone is making money, new people join every day, see the price rise, $$$ to be made. More people are joining than are dropping out. Eventually everyone will be signed up, no one is making any money off bitcoins, but... but... then the entire world uses them for trade. success.

Epic.....and that's how EU and US run the world's biggest ponzi schemes, respectively. Wink

third world countries being the last to get in on this scheme is the reason for their poverty.

+1, best post ever.
8514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is a monopoly on the full working Blockchain possible? on: February 20, 2013, 12:21:52 PM
No, it is very unlikely to happen and probably impossible.
8515  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wouldn't it be more fair if the bitcoins were shared equally? on: February 19, 2013, 12:21:43 PM
The first people to use Bitcoin took a risk, and you didn't. That's why they have more coins than you do.

8519  Economy / Gambling / Re: HYIP - invest BTC, get 108% back in BTC each cycle on: February 19, 2013, 12:17:53 PM
So.. has anyone actually done business with this guy?
8520  Economy / Gambling / Re: The unprofessional look to sites on: February 19, 2013, 12:14:59 PM
I agree with you a lot. Many people, including me would rather play on a good-looking site, compared to an ugly one.
