8521  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Scammers Are Making Fortunes By Ripping Off 'Greedy' Investors on: April 13, 2018, 07:21:14 PM
Im really pissed off to this opportunistic scammers but in the first place why people easily believes in those easy money earning techniques. They are easily blinded by the promises so in general, the victims here are also liable why they are being scammed.

Recently here in our country, there are lots of people got fooled by crypto investment scheme (the scammers are now in jail). I look at the proposed terms and plans and all I can say is !@#$%. Double the money within a short time frame, wtf! Majority of those people who invest doesn't even know what bitcoin is so how the hell they just throw away their money easily in these kind of scheme. Because of that incident, another misleading title of headline about crypto was being shown by the media resulting in increase of negative views about bitcoin especially for those newcomers who are lazy to do research.

It is our individuality that decide our fate,, do what is right and be secured..

Sometimes what they think is "right" is actually a foolish thing to do in reality. Some people really have to experienced worst before changing their mindset.
8522  Economy / Speculation / Re: BULL RUN STARTING ON BITCOIN? End of Bear Market? on: April 12, 2018, 10:24:22 PM
What the hell just happened just now when BTC prices went up $1000?
$30b just came into the market suddenly.

Can anyone give me a reasonable explanation for these CANDLES!!!!

There are lots of factors and "supposed" factors so we can pinpoint what triggers the pump. You can google some recent news and made up an analyzation by yourself. And besides the pump for over $1,000 is just a common happening crypto. Remember that about week/s ago, the price also went down to a margin of $1,000+ before getting a nice sit at around $6,000+ for day.

Just be used on this kind of pump and don't mind literally what's the reason. Take advantage of it instead or if you able take a ride during the dip then play with the right strategy now to cope up with the current trend.

Is this a start of a bull run? Let's watch and see.
8523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: April 12, 2018, 10:04:46 PM
Golden State Warriors almost failed to make it, I wasn't even expecting them to join the play offs. I've been following their Facebook and Instagram site and I see their posts that they lost, and lost again and lost again. GSW is good when Curry is around, but without Curry, I don't think they have a good chance to make it to the Finals. What happened to their strength in numbers?

Are you really following them?  And you don't even expecting them to joined playoffs? Impossible they can't even reached the 8th spot lol. They even have a large margin to the team on the West 3rd spot (Portland Trail Blazers).

I just can't recap it and not sure of this but if my memory serves right, Golden State Warriors is on the top seed of the West until February or early March before Houston Rockets take the spot.

Also if you really follow their Facebook you must know that their main starters suffered an injury during the last phase of the season that's why their production is not that fully performed.
8524  Economy / Speculation / Re: Massive shorts liquidations, $millions in losses as Bitcoin moons on: April 12, 2018, 09:40:03 PM
Wow, just look at this:

You can follow the Bitfinex bot here:

https://twitter.com/bitmexrekt

The fact that people are stupid enough to short Bitcoin at any rate never ceases to amuses me. Why would anyone be insane enough to short Bitcoin? you are sitting on cutting edge technology 10 years ahead of the curve, all you have to do is literally accumulate on each dip, sit back and get rich as fuck long term.

Please guys, stop doing drugs, and stop shorting Bitcoin, for your health's sake.

Lesson Learned: Fight the feelings lol

It may be stressful for others to see the recent crash but instead of taking advantage of it, they did a "wrong" move. Bitcoin is not a profit making tool for short term and still others got went on the wrong way eventhough it should be obvious especially for those people who are in crypto in many years, how price behaves.

Hope others can cope up this time.
8525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reputation of Bitcoin in the Philippines. on: April 12, 2018, 09:05:21 PM
I just watched a news about Bitcoin scam here in the Philippines a little while ago that aired on the national television. A couple scammed almost 1 Billion Php (19,260,000$) to 50 Filipinos by the use of pyramiding scheme. What will be the impact of this news to the Bitcoin investors in the Philippines? Will it decrease?

I think that it will have a big negative impact in the reputation of bitcoin in Philippines. Since it aired on the national television and almost all Filipinos can see it, some of the future investors will be frightened to invest in bitcoin. And that will decrease the potential bitcoin users worldwide.

http://cnnphilippines.com/news/2018/04/10/bitcoin-scam-pnp.html

If you are already a bitcoin investor, then this scene is common.

If you are a new investor, you will search all aspects on a thing that you will put your money. Therefore that recent scam will not be a reason why future investors will be frightened to invest. The only one who will be affected here is those people who doesn't have an idea what bitcoin is or not eager to know what is this all about. If you saw some comments on social media about that scheme, you will noticed some people saying bitcoin is really scam and just a product of hype. In that kind of statement we can conclude that those persons are not really well informed.

Some people just putting money without doing any research. They also want a quick profits in short term period and now what? They are now being scammed. So much greed.

The misleading title of the media in the Philippines really is annoying,

I even came up to a debate recently on social media just because of that.
8526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: April 12, 2018, 08:35:45 PM
do you experience that after losing on gambling that you thinking you will quit gambling for good and never come again to gambling but then next day you are already positive  that you could win in gambling?

that happen to me a lot when i lose in gambling but a could never leave gambling. Cheesy

No. It's a matter of self control.

I always do gambling not just on online but in real life and already experienced lots of losses but never came to the point that I will quit. Regret is a common effect after a loss but what matters here is acceptance that you loss and never will changed attitude and behaviour like others who fall on the trap of gambling.

Big money , small money etc. people just have to accept the fact that losing is part of the game, well that's why gambling is called gambling in the first place.

And besides in my case, I have a stable source of income, so those losses will eventually covered.

8528  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New bitcoin exchanges from Philippines - CX on: April 12, 2018, 07:02:06 PM
So this one and coins.ph is connected.

When you press log in it directs to the coins.ph website.
I dont know. I am afraid of how this works. I would rather let my coins.ph be a wallet and use another account for trading with that website.

Anyway, about the website. It looks great but it needs a lot of changes. One should be the trades reflecting to the right side which is the like the history.
A lot of movement with the trade but the orders dont react as fast as it should be.
They will be having a lot of work with this.
The exchange is still in the Beta stages and I heard that its by invitation only for now while they are preparing for the full launch of the exchange site. If you want to have access to it while in the beta stages, you need to visit the site provided above and join through wait list.

It can accessed now by anyone. There is no whitelist registration now unlike on the first time it was introduced.

https://exchange.coins.asia/trade/

The login credentials that will be used here is the coins.ph account. I know that they handle this exchange but just for sure, I will used other account here for testing the interface since transferring from same account within coins.ph account is free of charge. Im not sure if the balance will automatically reflected to the exchange dashboard or there is sort of deposit first before it will be transferred to the platform. Will test it later.
8529  Economy / Speculation / Re: Seems like dump is coming soon.. on: April 12, 2018, 05:50:58 PM
~snipped

Yes it may and it has always chance but the thing is, dump is just a normal thing and even the price will goes back to where it was during it's bottom yesterday (IIRC around $6,500) then as usual, everything will back again from speculating. A number of technical analysis might brought up because of this price surge but none of them actually can tell what will happen or even closed to it. Those analysis, even how professional and well detailed it is will be spoiled once there is an unexpected rally so take those analysis for reference purposes only.

Sometimes people are just doing an analysis based on the current trend and not prior to it.

So yes this is it, season now finally ended and we're now getting some thrilling action at the Playoffs. Some changes had been made to the matchups I speculated.

8531  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Happen Bitcoin OMG 8100$ ?? on: April 12, 2018, 03:03:42 PM
Big pump what happen ? What do you think dream ? or real.

Yes it's a dream lol.

As a newbie, you must understand that this kind of pump is just a common movement that you may see in the market. If there's a big dump, there's also a big pump although I don't considered this a "big" following the amount of dip it were established since it was first started. Maybe a good sign of bull run but still no one knows how far it will go through so better be always ready and never erased the chances that there will always be a price decrease.

I like how one single pump can make the people here go nuts like they won the jackpot. Cheesy

Still way better compare to those people who saying crypto is dead because of the recent price decrease that happened. Smiley
8532  Economy / Economics / Re: [PH]Cloud Mining Operators and Agents Can Face Up to 21 Years in Prison on: April 12, 2018, 02:38:04 PM
Regulations are fine as it will decrease the risks of being fall on a shitty scheme. We just have to see what's the result of that set of terms by PH before people can say anything negative towards it. In PH, cryptos are widely and freely used, so much freedom that it gives growth to those scammers that take advantage of the people who don't have idea how crypto works especially with the big happenings on bitcoin price last 2017.

Recently, scam operators are being caught and now on jailed because of the scam investment. But unfortunately, media called that scheme as "bitcoin scam" misleading others what really happened on that scam. Now with the new regulations about CloudMining operators, somehow it can give an assurance to the people that the system is legit although we can't say it as 100%.

Im in favor of crypto regulations of PH as long as it will not affect much the "real" advantage why we are in crypto.
8533  Economy / Economics / Re: market refresh or just a pump ? on: April 12, 2018, 01:42:21 PM
Hi today market goes green
as you can see in 1 houre perfomance everything changed is it the comeback or just a pump ? what you think about it what is going on ?

“They’re building the bridges as we speak. Whether they’re going to go full on bull/full on bear we don’t know.

"But the important thing is that they’re ready to take on and to inject new liquidity into this market that at least should even things out and stabilize the price.”

- Straight answer, we don't know what will happened next. It's up to us on how we will ride the trend.

This price pump coming from a large dip is a common thing that happened in bitcoin but for how long it will goes through, as usual, no one knows.
8534  Economy / Speculation / Re: Quote me on that - It has started. on: April 12, 2018, 01:22:55 PM
The double bottom around ~6500$ it is the hint for bulls to woke up and bears to go into hibernation .

Quote me on that - It has started - The long rise to the Moon .

Let the trend just continue and all we need to do is watch. Price significantly shows an increase but we can't conclude that this is the start. There are some the same happenings recently and the cycle just repeats. There are things that triggered the bullish alarm but we don't know how far it will reached. The price is currently playing at around or close to $8,000 and let's see what will happen next.

Another trip to the moon or just a taste of slight pump then will back again at the dipping point? Stay tuned...
8535  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency app on: April 11, 2018, 08:06:39 PM
hello all,

check the app and give me feedback for that, what we improve for that? and give the comments.

app link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cap.coinmarketcap

thanks,
vickystack

Great work. I installed your app and it passes my basic criterias:

- User friendly
- LightWeight
- No annoying dusts*
- Easy navigation
- Smooth interface

Will try to give more feedback later on. Although there are already some app with the same idea with criterias like that, people can also considered using your app.

Not a mandatory thing to do but your team may spend time too thinking some unique feature/s that is not present on those same related apps.
8536  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the correct process in joining facebook/tweeter campaign? on: April 11, 2018, 06:52:28 PM
You can actually do it even if you are a beginner, just read the bounty thread carefully you need to read all of their rules and information for you to be able to follow their guides if you did it wrong your time will be wasted.

Every bounty has their own rules, some of them requires reporting but some of them are not you will learn how to do it when you already try.

Even they have their rules, some of it are not indicated in that rule. What is the basis of those ICOs that didn't required reports?how do they know?and to those ICOs that requires reports, only submit the links that you share their ICO campaign?

If the rules weren't follow by some of the bounty participants then likely they will not be recognized by the bounty manager. In most of the cases, users just have to submit their links and that will be manually checked by the bounty manager (or by using an automated tool*).

For much clearer explanation, please tell us the bounty program you are talking about so we can look into it and explained it to you.
8537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: April 11, 2018, 06:33:08 PM
Who we liking for tomorrows game, Timberwolves or Nuggets? whoever loses is out of playoff contention.

I like Denver Nuggets rally in trying to get a playoffs spot. I thought this team will not even make it to the 8 but they gave a good rally while season is coming to end that's why currently, they are now on the final stage to fight for the last playoffs spot. They are currently on 6 winning streak (closed to 7 but loss only a few digits by the Toronto Raptors and they played good back then). I like Minnesota Timberwolves to be in playoffs too but Im seeing Denver Nuggets will gave a good match against the Houston Rockets.

P.S. Timberwolves and Nuggets never defeat Houston Rockets this season.

The final playoffs matchup will now be finalized tomorrow after season games ends. San Antonio Spurs will surely matched on either Portland Trail Blazers or Utah Jazz.
8538  Economy / Economics / Re: Will regulating cryptomarkets increase or decrease trading volumes? on: April 11, 2018, 06:13:15 PM
worldwide regulatory bodies are looking to set legal guide rules to regulate crypto markets which will limit ICO.

Do you think that this will increase the size of crypto markets since it will increase trust, or would it decrease the size of crypto since the number of ICO will go down    Huh Huh

ICO regulations will be a good step to erase those shitty projects. People just can't see the advantages of it at the moment since they are not used to it.

Most people does have a wrong interpretations about "regulations". Maybe some unusual changes might seen on the early phase but surely on the long run, people will be used into this ICO regulations and we can see the same trend back to the days where there are no restrict policy about ICO's.
8539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Android trading applications? on: April 11, 2018, 05:37:50 PM
Never thought I'd need it before but I guess the day has come LOL. What applications would you guys suggest if I trade on Bittrex, Cryptopia, Kukoin and a couple of smaller exchanges like Crypto-Bridge? I've downloaded Cryptopia app once, but the damn thing wouldn't even start, leave alone work.

If your phone has a decent specifications then no need for that application as it might lead you to "unofficial" application of those mentioned exchanges. Just your Android native browser and that's it.

I already tried Cryptopia, Poloniex, Coinexchange and Bittrex on a simple native browser and the interface is smooth and user friendly well maybe because of my phone specifications.
8540  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Forkdelta safe platform for trading??? on: April 11, 2018, 05:27:42 PM
Is it safe to import MEW account with Forkdelta and trade?Huh i am new to forkdelta need help and suggestion?? thank you in advance.

As usual with the exchanges, centralized or decentralized, you are playing with the risks here since you are using a third party to hold your funds for trades.

To minimize the risks, use another MEW address for trading purposes and that will be the one to be used for importing private keys on FD. Transfer your preferred coins/tokens to that MEW address and that's it. Although you will pay extra fees, it's way more wiser thing to do than import your main address with lots of tokens on it.

Is this an assurance that you will be safe? Obviously no. We just minimized the risks here so that in case of shitty activity, you will not lose all of your stash.
