Wow... Imagine having more than 100K amount of bitcoin.
If I had this much I would go somewhere and enjoy for the rest of my life.
because we all know what will happen in the bitcoin halving. Even in my dreams I can't imagine it it  Grin
I remember that there's a meme about the quantity of bitcoin that a person holds.

If it's above a thousands, you are a whale and when we have less than 0.1BTC, we were called a shrimp.

I think you already have the answer for your question and it's not a single person that owns the most but it's a company, an exchange.
8522  Other / Off-topic / Re: World Calamity on: January 13, 2020, 01:06:19 PM
Some people says that the end of the world is near.
It's always like that because every calamity that comes seems to be a "sign" for us but these natural calamities do occur since time immemorial.

There's also one event that you've missed but I can't remember the landmark, one waterfall somewhere in US or elsewhere, CMIIW, starts to run out of water.

Hongkong protest/rally too.
8523  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite fiat payment solution? on: January 13, 2020, 11:26:02 AM
I haven't used any other payment processor except PayPal so I think that will be my choice. But if I get to experience the use of other methods then I may reconsider thinking what would be the best if there's no crypto.

How about yours? you should be the starter to tell what's your pick.

Same for me actually. PayPal is the only thing I use often. I have a Skrill and Payoneer account, but I have only ever used them once/twice.
I'm seeing people asking usual questions about the minor issues that they meet upon using the other methods. And they are quite good number of users but if I'm not yet into bitcoin, I'll probably try them.

But there's no point for me to use them this time because bitcoin honestly is even more convenient than those.

[DOTA 2] Grand finals prediction:

Royal Never Give Up - Nigma: Royal Never Give Up, 1.57 @ BetOnBit

GL!
Sadly it was a major for Nigma. They'll move on to the Leipzig major and the known low bracket strategy that they've done before was also being said on this minor.

Congrats to them and everyone who bet for them.
8526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: January 12, 2020, 03:44:45 PM
Game 1 out best of 3 series (Dota 2 Bukovel minor)

Nigma vs Geek Fam

Nigma won 1-0
8527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use betting tips? on: January 12, 2020, 02:52:41 PM
Betting tips are for the people who do not have enough idea about what they are doing. Those betting tips are just opinions of self proclaimed professional gamblers but there are legit tips and the problem is hard to find. We should just rely our decisions in ourselves and not use any betting tips. I used betting tips before but I stopped using it when I lose huge amount of money and that is why I only relying on myself after what happened.
Betting tip is for everyone and it's up to you if you will listen to those tipsters.

They are giving those tips for free and there are also tips that are paid but not all of them have the accuracy to make you win.
8528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: January 12, 2020, 02:18:25 PM
The playoffs will start later, any picks yet?
Geek Fam wins surprisingly against Gambit, even I really didn't expect it will be 2-0.

Nigma will win this minor, I guess they lost on purpose at Leipzig major qualifier before because they want more money from winning this minor. Predictable move Grin
It wasn't expected because Gambit performed well during the opening matches.

It's live now, Nigma vs Geek Fam with their match. I'm also aware of their strategy of going to the lower bracket so that they can sweep all the teams that will be sent to that bracket.

[DOTA 2] Lower bracket finals of #BukovelMinor:

GeekFam - Nigma: GeekFam 1.5, 1.65 @ BetOnBit

Nigma is big favourites here, odds on Nigma ML very low. I think Geek Fam played very good tournament and they have a chance to take at least a map from Nigma. Amazing odds on that. Winner of this match will play vs RNG in the grand finals! Excited to see that!
Good luck with your bet, it's hard to analyze which team will win. I won't go for the odds as I want to support the possible winner.

Trying to prevent closing and reloading of pages on Android browsers when switching to other app and back.  Is there an app or setting I can use to prevent this from happening?  Android 9.
I think this is normal when you're using an app and gets back to the browser.

There's no solution for this ATM.
8530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: January 11, 2020, 12:02:05 PM
I don't want to count how many frustrations and failures I've made with gambling, I just count it as losses made into fun.

I always think I could have been in 10 different countries and spending 1 week each country with beers and tacos all day!

Or 2 bitcoins  Sad though this gambling site lottoshi.io offers to invest and play I think lol idk really.
First time to hear this and let's see if that 1 hr and 40 minutes remaining for their countdown to roll the lotto if someone will actually win that promised 1,036 ETH.

Never heard of this casino as well, could you provide some proofs that you've been scammed by them?

this makes sense now... i was trading with cobinhood a while ago and the trading software i was using dropped support for them. so i moved on a while ago. had to dig for their tweet https://twitter.com/Haasonline1/status/1132084848242200578
If you have funds sitting there, you can't withdraw it for now.

You have to wait until a little over a month and hope that they are still there by that time.

8536  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cobinhood shutting down on: January 11, 2020, 01:59:50 AM

this is pretty shady. they are shutting down for a month---during which they will "audit" accounts---and after that (in february!) customers are finally allowed to withdraw their funds. and they are openly stealing any new deposits from this point forward.

new exit scam method?
I also don't understand that kind of condition, if they are closing just like the others that have closed already.

They should let their users withdraw their balances within a specific period of time before the closure not after a month.

1 month for audit is way too long imho but lets hope that there would be no unfortunate thing to happen along the way or would changed up their mind.
It is too long for them to audit but they should focus first for the withdrawal of their users before that.
8537  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which streaming platform to try? on: January 11, 2020, 12:50:34 AM
I am currently looking for platforms through where can I have smooth web streaming, but so far haven’t able to come across much. Can anyone help me with it please?
Twitch is the most popular.

There's also facebook gaming if you are into games.

YouTube too.

8539  Other / Off-topic / Re: Data Breaches in 2019 & 2020 on: January 10, 2020, 10:55:17 AM
The old email that I've used was kept on receiving those extortion scam emails. And for sure that my email where it was registered to various websites was also breached.

But I can't remember those websites anymore so before signing up to a website, make sure that it's a legit website and don't also trust and  don't click emails that contains detrimental links.

Yes, you read the title right so don't deposit anymore there. Withdrawal will commence one month from now, on February.
