8521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 11, 2019, 02:03:14 AM
Yeah right, he should go back to NYK but I don't think he will sign again into that team coz we know melo only wants to have big bucks and not about playing time.
The guy has an attitude problem wherever the team he will land, there will be a consequence for that team.

And that attitude is he thinks he is still lined up with the stars by now.
He didn't even thought that his stats are getting lower but and it aint far from where he started.
That means no improvement.

Analysts tells it is because of Father Time. Yeah right, he is not just the one who is a father in NBA. Lebron is, and so does a lot of players.
It should not be the reason for him not making any good improvement hence, it should be his fire to make it to the top.
Would you think that Melo will be a good fit to the Golden State Warriors? He is open to any roles that will be given to him and with the Warriors he can be a second stringer where all he need is to run and shoot 3's as the defense of the Warriors is their offensive game.

Not sure what role he is going to do with Golden State. They already have enough fire power with Curry and newly acquired guard D'Angelo Russell. Warriors second stringers consist of defensive players so again doesn't fit Melo. So its really hard to see which team are going to be interested hiring his services.
8522  Economy / Economics / Re: Worrying Stock Market Drop and Fiat Devaluation on: August 11, 2019, 01:37:31 AM
With the sudden 700+ Point plunge of the Dow Jones and China's sudden devaluation of the Yuan what are some aspects of interest do you have that might reflect upon the current and the future of the Digital Currency Market?

Well, there was an expectation that with the stock market going down, and China's Yuan devaluation and the escalating trade wars between China and US, people might go and flock to crypto market to hedge their funds. Specially when the price of bitcoin suddenly went up in the last two weeks or so and trying to breach that $12k mental barrier. However, investors may have other options like precious metal. So we will see, if the price goes to $15 next month then it's possible that stock investors are shifting their funds to bitcoin as safe haven.
8523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: August 11, 2019, 01:12:20 AM
I was not able to check the latest odds of the fight, the last time I saw it, Nonito seems to be no match against Inoue based on the odds, but since this is a championship fight and Nonito has showed some good fights lately, I would try to put some amount for Nonito winning the fight.

Hoping for an upset here.

It's because Inoue is touted to be the next pound for pound king. Watch his videos and indeed he is a complete fighter. His body shots, power in both hands, does have a solid chin, in short no one has find a weakness in him.

Not bad if you put some money on the Filipino Flash, we all know that he is already in the twilight of his career and way past his prime. But maybe, he can turn back the clock and we can witness his vaunted check left hook hitting flush and let's see if Inoue can withstand it.

I was checking on the odds now but I could find any, I checked it with sportsbet and nitrogensports but it's not available.
This should be in sportsbook if people think Inoue is gonna be a star in the future.

It is still too early I think. Inoue is a great fighter and I don't think he is not that popular. He is so explosive making grear combos and nuke punches that could make their enemies kneel or hit the canvas. I think this will be a great fight for Nonito, will he make another undefeated first loss or this will be another great win for Inoue.

He already put up a impressive resume so I would say that he is already on the way to being great. One thing we should understand is that he is on a division wherein it doesn't get the attention as to lets say the welterweight. That is why he is not popular for casual boxing fans. But for those who have been betting and following boxing, I would say he is one of the best currently. However, being a Pinoy, I would support Donaire here and hope he can upset Inoue. One advantage of Nonito here is his experience, it could play a major role if the fight goes to distance.
8524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if you received Bitcoin from this wallet on: August 11, 2019, 12:52:21 AM
Coins are yours at the moment they hit your wallet, and it's your decision what to do with them. If you send them back, the society would say thanks, if you keep them and people know the source from those coins, then you could go to jail.

Another option is to send them back to the address it comes from.

I would rather send them back to the address, I don't want to involved myself from criminals. Although there's a lot of ways to hide like using a bitcoin mixing services, but in the long run, it might bring harm than good to you. I'm sure anyone will be tempted to hold the funds and liquidate and enjoy it for the rest of your life, but who knows, maybe one day authorities came knocking in your door and all that enjoyment and riches you have will be replace by jail time, ouch!!!.
8525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Real market manipulation on: August 10, 2019, 02:10:42 PM
This is not new and its always happening. What you were saying is true. Manipulators do this in order to benefit with it and almost all of the members here are get used to it. We even ride on their doings to earn. This is how the market works. Trade smart or loss.

.. snip..

Very well, the only person who panics and perform FOMO are mostly newbies because they are afraid they might loss if they won’t take advantage of it, being smart in trading is a must for you not to loss and don’t let the whales intimidate you instead ride with them.

But you can't blame newbies who FOMO, afterall all, they are just starting their career here. And once they got to see how manipulation works first hand, they are going to be mentally tough and not just panic and liquidate their funds and be intimidated.

When I first started my journey here, hmm, I don't know that there are whales and there are a lot of fraudulent practice behind until I read some article. So I try to learn everything and not be swayed by FOMO or FUD around.
8526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Dominance on CoinMarketCap on: August 10, 2019, 01:49:27 PM
Current BTC Dominance:  69.4%.

I'm not sure if we have seen this kind of numbers in the past years. But it only indicates that bitcoin is really on top of the game as investors are still flocking into the market. And specially that the price seems to recover from the last all-time-high, I wouldn't be surprise to see the price will hover around the 60% and altcoin market continues to bleed. What more intriguing is that we are not yet in the bull-run, so imagine what will be the number in the next coming months.
8527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: August 10, 2019, 01:23:26 PM
This rematch is just a formality that the time of Andy Ruiz holding the belt is over. I can't see a chance that he would win the rematch as Joshua will be more careful this time and he need not to slug it out with Ruiz, just score points and he will win the fight.

It could be a good strategy, just used his reach and try to win every round. But I have doubts that Joshua will do that. I mean he just lost his belt and probably lost his biggest payday with the Wilder fight which have been plan for many years. I'm sure he will be careful, but at the back of his mind he needs to win impressively to get back in track and pursue a Wilder and Fury match that will bring more money for him.
8528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: August 10, 2019, 05:42:46 AM
LOL so true about the fans being the victims in this potential rematch
But if the rematch does happen we can reap the benefits by betting on a Mayweather decision  Wink

It will not be boring like what their 1st match. Pacquaio will dominate Mayweather if the rematch will be confirmed that likely will happen. Unless there’s no bias judges or in other words they are paid, but still bottomless of that picture and rumor, still very likely too good to be true that the rematch that we want to see will be happen.
I hope also that it would not be a boring fight but i don't think also that Mayweather style will change and will slug it out with Manny for the entertainment of the fans watching. All Mayweather cares about is his "0" lose which he will protect no matter what happen.

He already surpassed Rocky Marciano's record so I doubt the he wanted to protect that '0'. For all we know Mayweather is after big money fights. And with that said I don't believed that he is after his legacy or what. And there is a lot of fighters who have an unbeaten streaks and retire undefeated.

He knows down the line that there could be a lot of arguments against him being the best. Although he beat Manny the first time, many are still consider the latter as one of the best a record 8 division that no one can even touch that record in the next coming years.
8529  Economy / Marketplace / Re: In 2019 Toyota, Canva, Facebook,( the list goes on)have reported data beeches on: August 09, 2019, 08:35:21 AM
How did we get to the point that blockchain is the solution to everything in the world ?
Like seriously, whenever you mention anything in the forum you will see some crypto and blockchain enthusiasts that would pop out from nowhere to be telling you that it has the solution to even your health. That's crazy, we are doing all these things and neglecting the fact that anything that has the advantage, has a disadvantage.

It's because blockchain is touted to be the best solution to the ever growing problem in the world, for corruption, to food to everything under the sun. But if you look at it, companies are just jumping on the bandwagon without doing any feasible study.

And if you look at it closely, most of the time blockchain technology is not the solution, just a simply centralised database will be enough for any companies around the world.

Hey hd49728 - maybe you can also post a reference link to LoyceV's - [AUG 2019] Fees are low, use this opportunity to Consolidate your small inputs!
You likely missed it. I posted it in OP, with first version of this thread, or in very first editing times. Tongue

Oh man, sorry about that....  I apologized.... Grin

~snip~

I'm surprised that a representative of one of the most popular exchange is doing this
, he does not know the rules, Kucoin better fire this guy for abused and they should get a better and knowledgeable representative, who knows how to read forum guidelines before posting.
You don't expect them to know the forum rules. For them this may be just another forum. For example: Today I signed up in a new forum. I had no clue what to do then I asked the person where and how to find the appropriate section for posting the ad I was suppose to post. Without the help of that person I would be lost.

After looking at the profile of KuCoin Exchange I feel that he/she is as ignorant as I was in the other forum. May be someone can help them to understand the forum rules and also how the mod enforce it. Also tell them it can also harm their reputation.

Then we should remind them that there are forum rules that they need to follow in this community.

"Ignorance of the law forum rules excuses no one".

So let's wait for the admin/mods to do their job.
8533  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SpectreSecurity - Plagiarized Whitepaper on: August 09, 2019, 05:59:59 AM
@Moderators -> Instead of trusting the accuser - maybe you should go and type the web site into your browser and FIND THEIR WHITEPAPER.

Mods/Admins has nothing to do with it.

Because I did - and it's not even close.

I did not write the XSPC whitepaper - but I do like to research - I don't trust links and type everything for myself - so - I ask you to verify before you just believe every jerk in town.

The OP has archived everything. So it's really hard for you to really defend something it which we have records of plagiarized whitepaper. Good luck defending though, the ball is on your side.

Flag supported as well!
8534  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull Break Above $11k And Falling Wedge on: August 08, 2019, 11:49:32 AM
What a roller coaster! I'm still not sure about the big picture regarding mid term trend. This is not a confirmed bearish reversal yet, although it's beginning to look that way.

^^ This. last night was a make or break, I thought that the bears will taking over and a reversal is imminent. Was mad at not taking the profit,  Smiley. Anyways, we could see another bearish reversal if we don't push and break $12k again. And most likely it will be the case in the next 14 hours. Ah, change my mind, I will just continue to hold and see that magical $15k mark next month. So it will be a mental game for me from here onwards.
8535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: August 08, 2019, 11:08:09 AM
Since we have been hearing the argument that Floyd will come out of his retirement if there is money in the table, how much money is worth to get Mayweather fight Pacquiao?

$300 M? $400 M? $500 M guaranteed price money?

If I'm not mistaken prior to the first fight, there are reports that some rich Middle East group of investors are willing to shell out big money or even create a stadium for the fight. But I guess it didn't push thorough because the mecca of boxing is still in the US of A.
8536  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to do to avoid phising sites on: August 08, 2019, 10:07:05 AM
For FF users, there is one trick in the book that can help you see the punycode.

[1] Type "about:config" in the address bar

[2] Then type "punycode" in the search bar

[3] Then double click on "network.IDN_show_puny_code" and enable it to true.
8537  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitblender offline, how can we get our bitcoins back on: August 08, 2019, 09:38:13 AM
I guess its over now, they have been shutdown since May so I doubt that they will go on-line again. Maybe they didn't give some the chance because of the sudden and unexpected turn of events. I know you lost a big chunk of money but at this point, I don't see any method to get your funds back, sorry to burst the bubble.
8538  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance hacked again 10k+ KYC (FACEBOOK 2.0 LEAKAGE) on: August 08, 2019, 06:27:05 AM
I think there's more to it, according to Coindesk, the hacker under the name of  “Bnatov Platon” has been in contact with Binance to help them find the hackers, unfortunately the negotiations went sour that's why the hacker put everything in public.

Quote
First, it has deep roots, extending back to an incident in May when an outside group broke into Binance user accounts and stole 7,000 bitcoin. At the time, Binance was, as always, public about its problems, describing it as part of a “large-scale security breach” in which “hackers were able to obtain a large number of user API keys, 2FA codes and potentially other info.”

Unmentioned, however, was that identifying user information may have been leaked.

It’s during this event that Platon alleges the information they have obtained about Binance customers was produced, although in a twist, he says he was not the perpetrator of the hack, but that he hacked an exchange “insider” involved in the heist.

https://www.coindesk.com/a-bitcoin-extortion-gone-wrong-inside-binances-negotiations-with-its-kyc-hacker

As this point, it's really hard to see who's telling the truth so make your own judgement.
8539  Economy / Reputation / Re: ★ BQT & IOU have committed scam with bounty participants ★ on: August 08, 2019, 04:09:29 AM
Is Atriz/Zapo in the middle of another controversy??

As far as I know, there was an accusations against this project before, BQT.io, IOU, Betmaster accusation investigation [RESOLVED] by @xtraelv.

They run a successful bitcoin campaign there though, [ENDED] 🔥IOU Signature Campaign | Member - Hero | 0.0007 BTC /Post 🔥 and [ENDED] ⚡BQT Signature Campaign | Member - Hero | 0.0007 BTC /Post ⚡.

So I don't know what's the hold up on bounty campaign payments.
