8541  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ** STEAM GAMES FOR BITCOIN ** huge list, prices lower than retail ** NEW GAMES! on: February 13, 2014, 01:37:02 PM
I have got both, thanks man. Just wondering, I got a "guestpasskey" for the game I bought. Does that it expire? Can I play the game forever? What is the deal with those? Tongue
It's an unique activation link to game you've bought. It will expire only once game is activated (assigned) to Steam account. If you didn't activate game, you are able to share/sell this link. ;-)
Alright. I know enough. Thanks for everything dude! Wink

A refund of 10%? You are making my life a bit harder now, hahaha. I have no idea which game I should buy. There are so many which I would like to have. Pfff, I will get back at you once I selected a game Wink

Congratulations! You've won the CS:GO as your payment address match the promotion rules! CS:GO has been sent to your e-mail. And of course I've refunded 10% of your order as promised. Enjoy! :-)

Figured out pretty quickly I wasn't going to get very far - so decided to at least make the post humorous.
You did well.

You changed the title and changed your first post. How lame. Long live Google Cache!
But +1 for originality Grin
Agreed Cheesy

My Enjoy Sochi transactions finally disappeared.
I didn't know that Bitcoin-QT removes TXs that didn't get confirmed after a while.
Bitcoin-QT doesn't do that. The Bitcoin Network does that. TX's that don't get confirmed will be removed eventually and the money will be returned to the sender.

Sir, our country does not speak English
So? Where I come from we don't speak English as well, but I would expect that someone who has a "Ph.D" would be able to write decent English. Oh well, must be me.

Look, those are valid points. Alright, I know see why you did the things you did and they make sense. Just try to stay calm. There a lot of people on Bitcointalk who respond that way.

1 tip, get a better domain. You will get whole lot more visitors if you have an url without "-"'.s Wink

Dude, take it easy. You are making yourself look like a fool. 2 posts just because of 1 user, that isn't going to help you.

Anyway, let's talk business. First of all the price for your website 50BTC, way to much. You should be happy if someone paid you 1-2BTC for it. It doesn't matter how much work you put into it, it is not worth 50BTC. You might get that much if you get as many visitors as Blockchain.info, but not with 200 visitors a day. Hell, I also get 200 visitors each day on my website but I highly doubt that anyone would buy it for 50BTC.

Do you know what a differential equation is? Or how to solve one? I did so for the map slide (basic friction equation).
Why not use one of the standard jQuery libraries and a plugin for the map stuff. Yes, you would have to rewrite some stuff, but it would have been easier then creating something completely new.

A bitcoin payment processing system, using a custom fork (fredan's ZeroMQ) which I've maintained over the recent months - to provide realtime notification of deposits and when they are confirmed. Of all the bitcoin websites out there, I'd say mine is the nicest from a user's perspective (no refreshing required, all over websocket/socket.io).
Most websites use websockets/socket.io. This isn't something new. Also, why create a whole new system when you could have used the Blockchain.info API? It would have more then sufficed for this website.

Wrote a JavaScript library (to be opensourced)... getImage.js - which provides various methods for image upload: choose file via <input/>, clipboard copypaste, webcam, dragdrop, url...
There are more then enough Javascript scripts around for this. The only thing you had to do is throw them together.

All I see is a person who spend to much time, doing something that has already been done, using stuff he made that already exists in this form. I hope that you can take this criticism without feeling the need to bash.

I, however, would like to add that your website is very smooth and that I like the way you created the map and how it reacts.
8552  Other / Meta / Re: Questions to theymos about the $350,000 forum software project on: February 13, 2014, 07:06:47 AM
I am calling bullshit on the teasup and wangbus accounts. I won't change my mind unless Theymos states that they are the "real deal".

Well, the page where I could see where I am in the queue + how much I still need to get paid is gone, so I am just going to say it's a scam until proven wrong.

Bootstrap designs tend to look standard and boring. They might be clean and nice, but everybody uses them which ruins it.
Let me fix that for you. This is my personal opinion, but I do know that a lot of people think like this.

Dayum, that is a great looking website. I already have my first suggestion, being able to select how many products you want on 1 page. I hate going through pages and prefer to see everything at once, so having the ability to increase the products per page would be amazing Wink

I also received a 1 Satoshi transaction, but Electrum seems to ignore it (I only found out, because I was checking the address for something). I got it after a payment I received got confirmed. I am guessing that this person has a script setup that checks the latest block for addresses and then automatically send a Satoshi to those addresses.

That's great to hear!

Damn, this is some good news! Plus, their interface looks amazingly. It's clean and easy, just the way I like it. It's just a bummer that they don't have a branch in my country. I would switch banks if they really start accepting Bitcoins.
