8542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) is going crazy. on: May 29, 2018, 11:27:59 AM
I never thought that TRON would be the most stable altcoin.
But now it really is, consider investing before they launch the mainnet.

Yup...  Tron is sooo stable, it was up around over 20 percent a week ago and down 20 around percent for the last couple of days since the two week high.

Aaaahhh...  There's nothing like the smell of stableness of crypto in the morning.  Cheesy

^  But notice how the volatility is tightening up.  And that 'self fulfilling prophecy' (or the current predictability) could stop happening over and over if the rest of the market start exploiting it, if that makes any sense.

^  Can you post what address we should be sending it to now please?  While I still have the BTC, I'm afraid I might do something dumb with it again.  Lol.

8545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 130: Thompson vs Till Info and Prediction Thread on: May 29, 2018, 09:59:01 AM
I didn't watch the fight but I read the play by play at Sherdog.  It looked like it was boring the first two rounds and picked up pace on the third round...?

Opinions?  Anybody?

I didn't watch the fight too but someone shared to me the results via twitter. The names in the fight card doesn't ring a bell to me, but maybe for someone who really follows MMA and UFC it is. This is the reason why I don't watch Fight Night just the main event like the upcoming UFC 225 Whittaker vs. Romero 2, its like watching the developmental territory of WWE. If they see a fighter with potential, they move to him/her to the big brands like Raw or Smack Down.

Speaking of UFC 225, do we have a thread for that already OP? I would like to read the others thoughts on this fight.

I will post the thread in a couple of days.  I think Yoel Romero has a good chance to win it this time.  I mean, watch all of Whitaker's latest fights.  It feels like he's just been 'running good' (there's nothing special about him, he's pretty basic), but sooner or later he'll run out of 'it' and end up getting busto.  Lol.

And it looks like the judging for the main event was rigged in Till's favor.  The Liverpoolian mob prolly got to the judges.  Grin

Here are the results of the Monaco GP (for completeness' sake).  And I think I could lose at least one bet (bit most likely two) against 'one reg' in this thread.  Cheesy  Don't worry...  I give up easy.  I'd be sending you the BTC even before the end of the season.  Lol

Liverpool dominated for the first thirty mins. Looked like they actually had a chance. Shame about Salah. If they got the first goal it could have been a much different match especially if Salah stayed on. Bale's goal was world class. You've gotta have some balls to even try that. Karius had a shocker though. They need a new keeper and a couple of defenders for next season if they want to challenge for the title.

Yep...  It's like Liverpool was turned off after Salah's substitution.  Lol.  Except for a couple of guys like Sane and that Arnold guy.

And true enough Klopp's first signing will be a new keeper.  Grin  He's targetting Roma's GK according to BBC football.
8549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: May 27, 2018, 01:09:01 PM
^  Stop whining about how Ramos plays dirty.  This is the CL finals, how else do you think it should be played?  And football is a very physical game...  These things happen.

Sure I'm sad for Salah but it's just one of those things that's out of anyone's control.
8550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Tron go up after MainNet Release? on: May 27, 2018, 12:40:39 PM
TRX is grossly overvalued right now. Wouldn't be surprised if it peaks on Day 1 and then starts sliding backward as speculators exit the market.

Yup...  But there's still some room for it to go up imo.  Don't underestimate the fact that some big whales have already expressed their intent on participating in getting a shot at being a 'super representative' thru a quadratic-esque style voting process.  They'll surely be buying lots of TRX to vote for themselves.

Voting will be on June 26.
8551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: May 27, 2018, 12:34:36 PM
If Monero implemented masternodes I would immediately sell all (3) of my coins.

I would rather be invested in Etherium.

Well...  Almost.

Is that the reason why XMR price dropped in recent days? In my knowledge, almost of MN coins often drastically drop in the long-run.

There is of course the long running DASH/XMR market om Poloniex that can speak on this subject.  https://poloniex.com/exchange#xmr_dash

Edit: I would not be surprised if see a crash of DASH on the above market in the future, because of bulletproofs.

Do you really think there is a chance that bullet proofs aren't already priced in?

I think it's certain that bulletproofs aren't priced in (much). We've only just begun the research phase to see if they're even safe/viable.

A parallel might be, what happens to a drug company's stock when they begin phase I clinical trials of a new drug?

What were the biggest rises in price (vs BTC) is for XMR?  I think they mostly were news connected on its usage in the darknet.  And rightly so...  It's the best anon cryptocurrency out there today and it's getting better.

The tech is great but usage is what gets it's price going up.
8552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) is going crazy. on: May 27, 2018, 12:19:53 PM
It never ceases to amaze me that tokens like these continue to develop and grow... and even pull in more hordes of people. Even after all the early signs that would normally make any company ashamed of itself for trying to get away with amateur things. Tron and EOS are the two most recent examples in my memory that I just stayed away from as soon as I saw their painfully obvious coding deficiencies. But here we are today and they are both still pulling in the crowds.

Does anyone think Tron getting a mainnet only now is such an incredibly funny thing?

To be fair EOS is being developed by Dan Larimer.  I know he dumped his coins and has gone from project to project in the past, but he's a good coder.  If he claims that he could whip up an EOS virtual machine that's compatible with Ethereum in a day like it was that easy, I would believe him.

And since when did altcoin prices moved cos of 'fundamentals'?
8553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: May 27, 2018, 11:29:23 AM
I wish Salah fell in a way that he didn't land on his shoulder, I wish Karius was careful enough not to commit one of the dumbest errors in the history of the CL, I wish Karius saved Bale's second attempt, I wish....

This final could have been way better.
8554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: May 26, 2018, 02:38:55 PM
^  Slightly better line for Real compared to Nitrogen, I hope most of the other lines are too...  I'm checking the site right now with my mobile phone.  It's looking good so far...  Nice mobile betting site overall.  I'll check the full site later.  Smiley

Edit:  And you have poker.  I will def check that out.
8555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: May 26, 2018, 12:07:18 PM
RBR is looking strong in Monaco...  Which is the most prestigious race of the season.  But one of the most boring as it has almost zero over taking.  Especially with the wider cars with the new specs that was implemented last year.

But qualifying should still be exciting.

Edit:

2018 Monaco GP Qualifying Results

1 Daniel Ricciardo Red Bull 1:10.810
2 Sebastian Vettel Ferrari 0.229s
3 Lewis Hamilton Mercedes 0.422s
4 Kimi Raikkonen Ferrari 0.456s
5 Valtteri Bottas Mercedes 0.631s
6 Esteban Ocon Force India 1.251s
7 Fernando Alonso McLaren 1.300s
8 Carlos Sainz Renault 1.320s
9 Sergio Perez Force India 1.344s
10 Pierre Gasly Toro Rosso 1.411s

17 Marcus Ericsson Sauber 1:13.265
18 Lance Stroll Williams 1:13.323
19 Kevin Magnussen Haas 1:13.393
20 Max Verstappen Red Bull no time

If Verstappen didn't crash his car at FP3 he could have been at second or third.
8556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: May 26, 2018, 11:12:25 AM
Today's match is a very important one for Zidane it's his job on the line, and so is Ronaldo contract. If you see from Liverpool point of view it's a major opportunity to win one of the biggest trophy since hey haven't won anything since ages now lol. Honestly it's one of the most exciting games but really difficult to call out a clear winner, however when it comes to champions league I would pick Madrid.

Zidane is leaving either way even if Real was winning one.  He's gonna go on a sabbatical for a year or so just like what Pep did imho.

I know, I know...  It might be another nonsense theory on my part.  But I was brave enough to bet a fortune on it vs BitcoinSupremo.  Cheesy

8557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 130: Thompson vs Till Info and Prediction Thread on: May 26, 2018, 10:58:43 AM
^  Barring any hidden injuries, it could be a good time to bet heavy on Thompson then...  I wanted to go for it yesterday but I could pull the trigger.

Edit:  And of course when I finally decide to make the bet Thompson is at 1.82 and Till at 2.07.  Meh.

8558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 26, 2018, 10:29:00 AM
^  I want Fullham to go up.  I'm not really a fan or anything, I just wanna see Ryan Sessegnon play in the EPL and in that club.

I think he'll leave Fullham and there will be a couple big clubs wanting to acquire him if Fullham doesn't make it.
8559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Always KYC (Know Your Customer) Why NOT KYO(Know Your Owner) on: May 26, 2018, 10:17:05 AM
I think it's the ideal situation in crypto.  When you hold all your coins in your wallet, you have full control of your wealth and are free to choose if you wanna go into a KYC environment and be under those rules or not.

The good thing is you can always withdraw and be in control again.  It's the same as using exchanges really.
8560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: May 25, 2018, 11:02:53 AM
^  Prolly more cos of Liverpool's past performaces in this CL.  Yeah they mostly had an easy route, but they beat City, which was the favorite to win the tournament (futures betting) during the KO stages priced around at 4.00 ahead of Barca, Bayern and Real.  And not just beat them...  They demolished City on aggregate 5 - 1.
