Waking up this morning with green numbers on the charts: Cryptocoin prices today. Will this mean that everybody believes in Crypto coins again? Let's hope that the prices rises to the moon. There is no such thing as just because the price rose and some of the alts takes a small increase means that everybody is back on believing on crypto again. Changed the thinking like that as it's not how it works. A small pullback means "literally" means that most of the traders take advantage of the dip. Aside from that, you may also noticed that some alts doesn't have a changed in terms of their respective bitcoin trading price but since bitcoin price increase a bit, so is the other alts. Will it ever reached the moon? Well it depends on what price level does people can tell that it's "they are already on the moon". |

This morning I saw an article where a guy made a simple calculation through Google trends about HODL strategy, and it showed that call to HODL used less and less from February of 2018. Popularity of word Bitcoin and crypto currency is also falling down. Why it is so? Do not people believe in Bitcoin and it's bright future anymore? No matter on such tend I am going to HODL my founds till bitcoin will not come back to 20k$  Different people have different perspectives, preferences and view about holding, so is the current status of it. There are no accurate information throughout any sources about how people holds, if people still holds or if people really holds. Let those people who spread about their thoughts with analysis because at the end of the day, we know to ourselves what things should be done to our hold cryptos. There are lots of reasons why we are in the current price level like this and that can't be linked to the idea that there are only few people who still holds their stash. Popularity of word Bitcoin and crypto currency is also falling down.
Most of the people especially those newcomers, just feel the 2017 trend and used to it without knowing what happened on years prior. They didn't know that the current price level is considered as high price last year after reaching it for the first time after many years. |

Who knows? Speculation will remained speculation until it will happened therefore also applied in making predictions. The effect of news, FUD, speculations etc. will depend on how the community will react. No matter what's the positive speculation is, people can consider at the current price rate since waiting too much for a target might wreck their strategy. Yes sometimes a price dip happened after we buy at a certain price level but on the other hand it doesn't always the case. As long as people understand the risks of buying bitcoin, then just go ahead and fill up their stash no matter what the rotating speculation is. |

I'm about to receive 15k in Bitcoin.
I'm.looking to receive them into my Coinbase account and was wondering whether I can send and receive BTC on there without them wanting a scan of my ID, a request that is insane given the security risk.
Can I do that over Coinbase? Is there a better service, if Coinbase won't let me do it?

Check Coinbase limits per level and there you will see what will be the amount limitations for deposit and withdrawals. If there's no other way to received it other than Coinbase and for example we have the same case, then I will just withdraw it slowly depend on my limit disregarding the fees. I don't believed that amount will sound quickly the alarmed unless after you received it, you will do withdrawal right away in one transaction. Anyways to ease your thinking, just received the amount thru Electrum and that's it. I think you just have few options in your mind that's why you think of using exchange service. |

You are a channel subscription addict lol. Telegram only allows 500 channels subscription including the supergroups you have joined. BUT WAIT.. ..that was way back months or over a year ago so I don't know if there is no changed at the policy. If you haven't reached that limit and there's still an error then the best thing to to do is to contact Telegram directly : https://telegram.org/support . I did send a query too out of confusion. |

I come across some thread that were open around July 2017 and one thing that I have find out among those thread were Bitcoin is death, This is the end of cryptocurrencies and someone even said "august 1 Bitcoin is going to be less than $100". The same thing is happening now and we are having a lot of negative comments now than around December and January. I have make up my mind to keep on hold and also investing my risk capital into cryptocurrencies as this time create another equality in the market. If you want to make good profits from cryptocurrencies in future? Now is the right time to buy! "This time" provide equal opportunities. Goodluck.
It's part of the crypto system so you will always encountered a claims like and never it will end. For me, it's not a big deal so just let them state what they want because after all we know what things should be done to take advantage of every price trend whether uptrend or downtrend. Crypto discussion will not be complete if there's no troll or non basis speculations. Rather than think of them, focus on what you believed because after all, we will not believed on a thing where we don't see any reasons to become like that. Joel Embid is such a big factor for the Philadelphia 76ers. Without him they can't go anywhere. The Process is put on hold once again. If the said standing will not changed until playoffs then Philadelphia 76ers will surely have a difficult road against the Indiana Pacers. Victor Oladipo and the rest of the Pacers are 2-1 against 76ers this season with Joel Embiid present on the lineup of the latter. Embiid might missed only 1 game on playoffs and that is on the opener although Im not sure if he will fully recovered on their games after that. 76ers will faced Cleveland Cavaliers later on to battle on 3rd spot but if ever 76ers won but Cavaliers managed to get a tiebreaker to them after winnings their remaining games, then Cavaliers will likely get the 3rd spot. |

Ive read some news and threads saying that stocks and cryptos is dropping low and indeed its true. Bitcoins price drops to $7K and is quite disturbing.
Do you think its the best time for gambling? Given these following reasons.
- A certain loss on holding a coin can be obtained if you win on a bet in gambling and can recover what has been lost to you because of the drop.
- Holding is not that practical because it can be much lowered in the future and better risk it on gambling than seeing it continue dying.
- Trading or Holding consumes more time and risk and it prolongs the pressure of loss in you mind and stress you through out the day and the only way to release it is to risk it in gambling.
As you can see, these things are only successful if you win and much stressful if you dont. What do you choose? What do you recommend? Need some answers.
The reasons are not making sense to linked on best time to do gambling. Since we are talking about the risks, then preferred a risky method that is worth to put a shot rather than rely on luck by doing gambling. There are lots of ways to deal during the bearish market. Generally, the whole statement is just increasing the risks of losing and "not a good advice and suggestion". Don't expect too much that will really work. Looks like we are forgetting why "gambling" is called "gambling". |

No one can predict accurately what will happened so you can't get an answer here or elsewhere. Just look at 2017 performance, did anyone even knows that from $1,000 price level it will reached around closed to $20,000? So if we look at today's price, we are in $6,000+ price so just do the comparison to give you some insights although it's just a reference and not an assurance that reaching $20,000 will happened this year. What's your goal? Do you have an active hold bitcoins? If your sole purpose "for now" is to just hold then just do it no matter where the price should go. Also it doesn't matter if $20,000 value will not reached this year as long as it has always possibility to reached. |

Yes it depends. Sometimes it's a matter of few days but for two weeks, that is a long one for me. And worst case scenario, sometimes it will not back online that's why it's risky to play coins there. One reason why YoBit sucks. May we know what coin is that who have wallet maintenance? Does it also have an ANN thread here or some platforms of discussion? Maybe developers of it have a direct update from the YoBit. |

Let's not judge harshly, okay?  I'm willing to give this project a fair shot, even though it IS lacking in presentation. Maybe you guys need to polish a few things here & there before launching it? Just a friendly suggestion! Those "harsh" word will pushed those developers behind that exchange to improved what's their lacking because how come a company will open up an exchange if those basic things aren't even done perfectly? And it's look like that the site is being rushly made for an "own purposes". "We are talking about big bucks here so better be cautious"And besides it's good to see that some "harsh" words are being thrown so that newbies will not mislead. If they are legit then proved it. Toronto Raptors can be stopped but for Cleveland Cavaliers I doubt there will be a great contender aside from Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors (on which I sees will also have a hard time dealing with the Cavaliers). Let's recap those other teams that already clinched the playoffs berth on the East: 4 Philadelphia 76ers 5 Indiana Pacers 6 Miami Heat 7 Washington Wizards 8 Milwaukee Bucks Let's say these teams will remained at their respective spot, Cavaliers will faced: (6) Heat and (2) Celtics or (7) Wizards then finals. We can see here that Cavaliers already dominated their bracket. On Toronto Raptors, Im seeing they will have a hard time dealing with ( 8 ) Bucks and will also have the same experience on who will win between Pacers and 76ers. And that's it. *just my own speculation |

Don't used that as a guide. Use your self analysis instead and spend time learning others "factors" that needed to be considered as a reference to your future trades. It will be a long discussion so I will just choose a simple guide you can take. After choosing your preferred coins to trade (aside from bitcoin), always make sure that you are keeping up to the latest trend on that coin. How to know that? Lots of options like hearing other speculation on their ANN thread, taking notes of daily high and low price etc. You know you don't need to understand those as once you are continously trading that coin, you will automatically known what things should be done. Just focus and be eager that you really want to learn. Also some of the altcoins only have a direct pair to BTC that's why when bitcoin price is moving, the USD value of those coins are moving too e.g up or down. |

Just wondering if you guys will stay in crypto (aka hold or sell your BTC holdings) if the price does not recover.
Lets say we are still around 6k-7k by December 2018 => Will you wait it out or give up and say "OK, we had a nice ride but we are not going up again"?
What about if in 2019 price is still hovering around 6k-7k and there is no sign of recovery to 10k+ (or even a new ATH)
This is not making sense. Where will you find a "thing" that worth $6k to $7k a piece***? Just imagined, I started at $200+ price level where $1,000 is just a dream price and now look at the current price. And even that will happened, expect that there are price swings on the process and will not just stay on the price level like that. Why should I left in the first place with that value? Those newbies that enter the game on 2017 was used to experienced always a price increase that's why in the event that a price crash will happened, all their expectations wrecked due to lack of knowledge about how price behaves. |

I know 90% of us here feel very sad watching BTC plummetting from its 20K high to below 7K.
Not to mention alts like ETH and LTC which have lost nearly 70% of its value from December high.
Some other legit alts lost more than 80% already
Some of us try to stay positive and claim we are HODLing for the very long term.
Some of us try to be pragmatic and talk about buying more when BTC reaches $3K or below.
But I know most of us still can't help feeling waves of melancholic emotional emptiess washing through us every time we check coin market cap and see all coins in red dipping by -10%, -15%, -20%
I feel that we need a place to let out our negative energies and feelings. because after all, emotional drainage is the last thing you want in trading.
So let's complain about the market. Share how sad / desperate / unhappy you feel about the current market situation. Make it emotional!
Let me start first --- every time I check the market I feel so negative and unsure. Logically I tell myself I'm happy to see BTC going to below $3K because I could buy more cheap coins. But every time when I see the bearishness of the market I just feel pretty hopeless and not sure when my position could go back to my buying price. My avearge buy was around $11K but I had 40% in alts that have already lost 70%.
When there is a massive uptrend, always expect that a downtrend follows and that is a most common happening in bitcoin price behaviour since the beginning so why sad? Most of the average bitcoiners are worried but not generally as a whole as most of the bitcoin users and holders are used to this kind of movement. Yes others loss but still it's not the end of story to them as price decrease also giving us an advantage too.
I also question myself on why I haven't sold some of my coins when BTC reached $20K
I start to wonder if BTC would take 2 / 3 years to recover or would it take 15 years (like dot com bubble) for BTC to reach $20K again?
I just feel quite hopeless!
You didn't sell your coins that time because you want more profit. It's just that your expectations take you into a desire of getting more and more profits. That's why if already on profit and the trend is uptrend, don't hesitate to sold your coins even if the price goes higher the next day. And obviously, who knows what will happened? Regrets are part of the game but don't take that wrong decision to wreck your future strategy. Stand at your feet and continue to play the risky game of getting profits at crypto. |

Kyrie Irving will missed games until the end of the season and playoffs depends on how far the Boston Celtics will made to the playoffs. 6 weeks maximum is the given period including the recovery time and for that span, Boston Celtics might not be on playoffs that time depending on the number of games they will played at 1st and 2nd round or if they will always win. If they will go to finals, then Irving have chance to play. This is not a good tyming for the Boston Celtics as Irving is one of the frontrunners on the Celtics squad that's why they have a good run this season. Cleveland Cavaliers now increasing their chances more to become the Eastern Conference Champion. I'm wondering if it's worth exchanging Bitcoin to Monero for security as Bitcoin is quite volatile and monero seems less so. Any advice would be appreciated.
What's your goal generally? Taking care of the profits and minimizing the risks of losing? That will not work and Im sure of that. No doubt that all altcoins are dependant on bitcoin price so even there is no price movement on Monero still it's not excluded once bitcoin price makes a surprising move again whether uptrend or downtrend. Since we are all just making statement here, you will never know until you try. You can test it on actual and see what it will gives you. Yes give it a try and "risks" some then come back after a period of time. |
