8542  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which version of Windblows? on: February 08, 2013, 08:48:15 AM
Thanks for the tips guys, I've decided to go with Windows 7.

Has anybody heard of "Tiny7"?

I have 64GB RAM, so I don't necessarily need a lite version of Windows 7, but its interesting as one thing I hate about Windows is its bulkyness. Anybody got any experience with something like this (stripped down versions of win7)?

what dosnt work programming related?

I need to use CryEngine 3. Obviously there's no way of running that in Linux so it seems like a good excuse to finally take the time to install Win, so that I can also run a bunch of other stuff I've been meaning to try out but couldn't get to run via Wine etc.

Tiny Windows is a joke. It's the bare minimum for Windows to run, not to work.

Hopefully you have enough HDD space to install Windows.. ?

You'd be wasting your life away, trying to get even the minimum .01 BTC.

Looks pretty decent, although I'd suggest you change the font to a different sans-serif, and align the left bar to the left side of the top thing.
8550  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMER - unkn0wn12 - Aleksander Śnigurowicz - Loan default + scammed others on: February 08, 2013, 08:29:42 AM
I can confirm that Linden Lab has seized us all Lindens deposits made by Aleks at therock
and that he has stolen a lot of Second Life accounts (he connected from the same polish
IP for a while, starting using TOR only later), which he used to buy Lindens using
stolen credit cards.

I know some of the users who got their second life account stolen, have contacted FBI
on this matter, even if I doubt they can do anything in Poland.

There is no doubt that this guy is a scammer.

I wish we had more good posts like this.

@realityfalacy You might want to contact SouthernComfort for a loan since he's been known to lend coins to new members.

I can vouch for this.

It would be a good idea to add the word 'sticker' to the title so that people will know what you are selling.
