Nevertheless, if I do get paid, I will erase the video immediately. Does anybody really ever believe this statement from a blackmailer - even if, by chance, he has a certain video?! As a main rule: you fall once for a blackmail, you are good for getting milked for your entire life.

b) Some FOMO over DeFi.
I've seen altcoin not related to ETH (actually one of the competitors) also rising unexpectedly well. I also "blame" DeFi. And I also fear it's an artificial hype and it may end up like the ICO "era".

The link has shown such a good price for some time, I am still worried whether the upward trend of this link will last long or only euphoric moments will last for a short time
Nicely said. I also believe it's just "an euphoric moment". Twitter is suddenly full of posts on Link, so I expect somebody also having an advertising campaign for it to (artificially) create hype. On the other hand, there are other altcoins too that were dormant or doing bad since 2017/2018 and now they are blooming again... so I can't tell for sure. Maybe altcoin season did really start?

I personally think you should not be forced to wear a mask. Or a seatbelt.
Just as I think I should wear a mask and not be hassled for it.
In theory you are right. But in reality, since you don't pay (at least) 3x more for the health insurance, it may happen that you got appendicitis and need surgery, but you can't get into the hospital (no free beds) because some ... individuals did not wear seat belt or mask. At least this has happened quite a lot in the last 5 months, more than the news will tell. Trump mulls pardon for leaker Edward Snowden
No. He just tells things because the elections are getting near.

1helloThisISaTestAddressAgainDoNotSendAnyCoin59Test - if I am not wrong then anyone can send sats to this address too which I just made up.
Be careful, AFAIK the last part of the address is a checksum and if it's not correct, most wallets will not allow sending coins there.

This is one of three things:
And a fourth: He fabricated this in a hope to get some money off Ledger to shut up. I've done a 300$ worth of ERC-20 tokens transaction with Ledger and MEW less than one week ago and all went just fine. And all the expected funds are still in place. So I'd go for the 3+1 list of possible causes for those posts.

Yep, for burn address the creation is much easier. I've done a quick search and I've found a very good old answer on how this kind of addresses can be created. Again, it's a burn address, so the chance somebody would ever spend those coins is very close to 0. And the promised post:

The vaccine from Russia doesn't have all the safety tests made as required by international regulations. There are news even about doctors from Russia that are afraid to take it.
Of course, I'm not convinced that the western vaccine/s will be much better. They rushing it and this makes errors much more likely.
We'll have to have patience and see what happens next. One vaccine should be good sooner or later.

As long as this happens only for a short while (max 2, maybe 3 days) it's not a big issue. I've seen worse (long ago). I think that the campaigns paying in their own token not listed anywhere are the real issue. There people work for free without knowing/acknowledging that!
My vote for the situation as OP described it is "I don't mind".

Follow LuckyBitgames: done Post twitter account link: https://twitter.com/neuro_fishPost audit link: https://twitteraudit.com/neuro_fishPost # of your followers: 2632 Post Luckybit name in form: neuro-fish And a question: You asked in the thread to post this info (from my understanding), but you also wrote "MUST Fill out the google form, not post in this thread.". It's kind of contradiction; should we post in this thread or not? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Answered, thank you.

I pm bob123 and told him i will pay for the remove negative and he dont reply
Wrong move. If you offer a user payment to remove a negative trust from your profile, that act on it's own is worth a red tag, and since you want to settle by payment, does it mean you're guilty? Because he doesnt reply on any of my PM i told him i dont sell this account and i got no reply from him so i decide if i offer some payment he will reply.. Yeah, your money and your retaliatory feedback will clearly make him change his mind, isn't it? Heh, some do have to grow up...

then IMO that makes BTC not perfectly fungible.
That's correct. And whatever people would say, the quantity of Bitcoins actually mixed is not that big. But this is part of Bitcoin. If you don't mind about this, you can use Bitcoin normally (I hope that this means at least multiple change addresses). If you do care about this then you either use mixers more often, either switch to Monero.

could there ever be a way that someone else is using the network to benefit his own needs while exploiting some bug in the network we cant even see?
Yes, it's called 51% attack, there was a time wherein one mining pool has the hashing power to do that. You can even read it in the Whitepaper itself, https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf - Section 11 "Calculations. I think that you have misunderstood something. A 51% attack would be an exploit of the network weakness (just Bitcoin network is strong now and 51% attack is way too expensive to be done to worth it). A 51% attack is not an exploit of a bug, what OP was asking. Now, back to OP question. Bitcoin code is public. Anyone can read it and compile it (with some skills). Although Bitcoin devs are very careful, there's always a (small) chance a bug to slip into the code. Of course, we expect this not to happen. Now the interesting part: In order to have a bug exploited, the nodes have to accept the block with the culprit transaction. But the network has various nodes with older and newer versions of Bitcoin installed. So I think that if a new bug is found and exploited, blockchain will be forked (between the nodes accepting the exploit and those who will notice it). And this also means that people will find out super quick and fix it. So unless a bug is there for years, we are safe. (There's only one problem: I am not a blockchain specialist and I may be wrong with this logic.)

After the previous move of Brave browser dev, which has clearly shown the level of greed - I mean ref links don't really bring big money and he has traded his user base possibly for peanuts - of course that 1.5k USD was an amount he couldn't resist. It's way beyond disappointing. It's not even unexpected anymore. Sad.

I have another idea for GOLD marketplace. An estimate of transaction fees on the site when people swap from GOLD to BTC or ETH and vice versa. TxStreet.com - live cryptocurrency transaction . @wwzsocki posted it but not all people know how to check estimate fees, network transaction conditions and they will feel uncertain and worry about the unconfirmed transactions or too high fees. If the feature can be integrated on Marketplace, it will help customers have a good summary on what might go on with their swap process and can better choose which coin to swap will help them save more fees, with better speed. If something like this will be added, I suggest to also give the opportunity to the user to fine tune the fees (transaction speed), obviously between some limits to avoid the real issues with the transactions. Right now on Bitcoin network the fees used by the GOLD marketplace seem to be much higher than I'd use (at half of that fee the tx would have been still cleared within 24h, which is fine for me).

HacPool top address has mined $HAC: ㄜ608:248
Can you please tell what :240 and :248 mean in the amounts? You wrote that there will be 22M HAC total. Can you please convert into *:240 or *:248? Maybe try to use the same measure unit for everything to make it less confusing? Can you please split the numbers on your website? 1234567890 is much more difficult to read than 1 234 567 890 or 1,234,567,890.

I also advise the Testnet, especially if OP uses Electrum 4+, where it's not as straightforward as in the older versions.
In the Addresses tab select the address you want and right-click => Spend From This will add a line to the bottom of the Electrum window.
Now you can go to Send tab and spend. It will use only the "spend from" address.
I advise you also have in Preferences (Transactions) Advanced Preview checked.
