Yes, there are few, but they exist!
That's why I created this topic, to let everyone know they exist and where.
Thank for all the infomation regarding bounty. I am also thinking to invest in steem but have some doubts:
1) Are those allegations made here regarding steemit being a pyramid scheme true ? If yes, why is that so many people are still investing in it .
2) I also do not see much ads on steemit.com. What is the source of their revenue ?

Yes, right now Steemit is being ruled by the whales.
But, the goal is to reduce the power of the whales. Slowly they are implementing some changes that reduced this power.
Take in mind that Steemit is still in beta.
Regarding the revenues...
Until now they are living out of thin air.
Not really... They are using the funds from initial investors and are playing with the valorization of their tokens.
From now on, I'm not entirely sure about witch funding model they will be implementing.
