861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the Philippines uproar on: October 18, 2017, 12:41:09 PM
Most of the users from signature campaigns are from Phillipines, and i dont have nothing agains them, but most of them only create accounts and they farm them in order to spam the signature campaigns to earn more money.
And i have seen this so many times, because i am active in the Meta Section on the forum, and all those who are on SMAS are from phillipines.

I also see the development of the philippines very rapidly, the philippines population has a lot to know about bitcoin. they also have created a bounty campaign as a place of income and a place to invest. most philippines make bitcoin as their source of income.
862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possible End of Bitcoin on: October 18, 2017, 11:44:55 AM
I do not see the sign of bitcoin coming to an end, but what I see bitcoin is getting stronger and bigger. bitcoin is very difficult to destroy because the ones that make bitcoin always live are people who are active or working with bitcoin. if more and more people are using bitcoin then bitcoin is getting harder to destroy. I think bitcoin will be destroyed if everyone dies or doomsday.
863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: October 18, 2017, 08:22:07 AM
Different between bitcoin and real money in my opinion is we can know how much bitcoin in the world and there are not people who can make manipulation about it and we don't know how much real money who be printed.

besides, bitcoin has a very expensive price than real money. bitcoin just in the form of digital money or money that has no physical. bitcoin there kesituanya with gold that has a price that sometimes rise and sometimes down.
864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally Bitcoin is in the schools for students to explore on: October 18, 2017, 04:37:24 AM
I just came across this great news,

* Australian Primary School Students Explore Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technology.

According to the article,

"The ‘School on the Blockchain’ Program Provides Young Students With Many Opportunities to Explore Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technology".

Let's appreciate this move and I am sure this would make it easier for next generations to learn and explore this new technology. What do you think about it?

I am glad to see this news, because students are taught about crypto currency technology. it looks like the biggest bitcoin holder of australia. but there are I worry about, students who have made their own money will be lazy to learn, even they will drop out of school.
865  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC - Where to buy? on: October 18, 2017, 02:53:01 AM
Hi,

I need to buy some BTC from a 'safe site'.
I do care about my privacy I'm not looking to provide my Government ID or my Driving License or anything personal.
Have guys tried any site that doesn't require sensitive personal info?
I'm really curious.

in my opinion it is impossible to buy bitcoin without giving ID at the time of transaction. I also have another way to get bitcoin, that is by following bouty campaign that gives stakes in the form of BTC.
866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: October 17, 2017, 06:29:02 PM

867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Good Reason to Own Some BTC on: October 17, 2017, 05:22:53 PM
But we can only pay if that shop is accepting Bitcoin, even though the country legalized and accepting Bitcoin that doesn't mean all the shop is accepting bitcoin, the implementation of Bitcoin for shop is still too little, so for now we can't depend on Bitcoin, but in the future I am sure we can live by only using Bitcoin

it's hard to find stores that accept payments with bitcoins, even in countries that already receive bitcoins, but not necessarily all stores that accept payments with bitcoins. I can not wait for bitcoin to be certified by my country.
868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: interest in bitcoin is increasing on: October 17, 2017, 05:10:07 PM
As per we can see the interest in bitcoin of people is increasing at a high rate...I believe it will be our future...but will the shoppingsites like flipkar, amazon be able to accept bitcoins?
may be in the next generation.......thanz fr reading

now many have known bitcoin and made it a source of income, but not all countries today accept bitcoin as a legitimate means of payment. in my country have not received bitcoin as a legitimate currency, but I hope the government in my country immediately accept bitcoin as a legitimate currency.
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto Currency is making people millionaires all over the world on: October 17, 2017, 04:51:03 PM
I am glad to see the poor helped by crypto currency, nobody died of hunger. I am always excited about making money with bitcoin because the price is rising. I am also grateful to have known bitcoin, my family has been helped by the crypto currency.
870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin will be used in our daily transactions. on: October 17, 2017, 12:31:29 PM
If bitcoin will be used as our daily payment is it possible that schools will be accepting it as payment for tuition fees? And if it will be accepted they need to teach the students the use of bitcoin and give the knowledge to use it and how it works.

I agree if bitcoin we can use as a means of payment to meet the necessities of life, such as buying food, buying clothes, paying bills and paying tuition fees. it all depends on the government, if our government approves bitcoin as a legal means of payment.
871  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: October 17, 2017, 12:21:04 PM
Bitcoin is not gambling, but in some ways, this is comparable. In both cases, you can not completely control the situation. It is unstable and unpredictable. Although Bitcoin is still more reliable way to earn money than gambling.

I agree with you that bitcoin is not a gamble, but bitcoin is a digital currency that has a price sometimes goes up and sometimes goes down like gold. bitcoin can be obtained by joining bounty campaign and we can get by investing. bitcoin can also we get by gambling, actually depending on how we get it, we better get bitcoin in a kosher way.
872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin being regulated in a country. on: October 17, 2017, 12:02:45 PM
Being that the government have no control over cryptocurrencies as they are fully decentralized, can bitcoin be regulated in a country?

As far as I know, bitcoin can not be regulated by a country. The value of bitcoin is not specified by any country. However, the development of bitcoin depends a lot on the countries.

I strongly agree with you that bitcoin can not be governed by a country but bitcoin affects people in that country. Bitcoin is controlled by all its users worldwide. Bitcoin works only when there is full consensus among all users.
873  Economy / Speculation / Re: Selling Bitcoin on: October 17, 2017, 07:07:44 AM
I'm a week into this whole bitcoin thing so be easy on me. I wonder why you would ever sell a BTC ... For example: you buy 100 dollars worth of BTC but the price drops drastically. Why would you sell it when its that low? You KNOW it's going to go up again. You could wait a month (for example), the price will be up again. Or am i totally wrong here?

I think it is a very self-defeating act for selling bitcoins at a low price, but if you buy something very important, it's okay. I recommend if you want to sell bitcoin, sell it when the bitcoin price rises.
874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: October 17, 2017, 06:11:01 AM
I see a lot of optimism about bitcoin, which is understandable seeing the price recently.
But I have to admit I'm a little worried about the long term future of btc.
The major problems if the currency still haven't been dealt with. I see 2 major ones:

-Block size. Which makes the delay and fees of transaction rise very fast. Smaller transactions are more and more difficult to make.
-The centralization of the market. China got low cost electricity, which make them by far the most bitcoin mining capable.
-And maybe others that I'm not aware of.

Another thing: The Hard forks that are oddly getting much more frequent than before. (BCH, BTG, Segwitx2 etc...) It almost looks like "attacks" in order to divide us. Now called "airdrops" by the community. Even though they're supposed to solve some of the problems.

All in all, this makes me really worried about btc future. I've been a strong holder since 2014, and I made quite a lot of money with bitcoins, but I begin to doubt now, even though the price is crushing ATM. Please help me keeping faith. Or should I switch to another currency ? Really thinking about ETH recently.

I suggest that you stick with bitcoin, you will not lose, because in the future the bitcoin will prevail. use bitcoin to invest so that in the future you will achieve a lot of benefits.
875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: October 17, 2017, 04:36:30 AM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

the number of people who fight bitcoin because bitcoin can destroy the bank and the dollar. bitcoin has its own wallet that can save money, other than that bitcoin has a price higher than the dollar bill, that's why people want to destroy bitcoin.
876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: October 17, 2017, 04:28:56 AM
The bitcoin vs gold debate has raged on in investment circles since bitcoin has entered mainstream discussion among increasingly interested investors. Gold has been used as a form of currency and trade for thousands of years, and certainly has a track record for reliability and preservation of wealth. However, as the newcomer onto the scene, bitcoin may be the kind of financial and technological breakthrough to to challenge gold as the monetary kingpin.

Early on in its life cycle, seasoned investors began questioning the legitimacy of bitcoin value and debating how such a commodity could hold intrinsic value. What differentiates bitcoin from a mere collectible and what makes it similar to precious metal assets such as gold or silver? Among many circles, especially gold bugs and older-generation investors, bitcoin was not considered a valid investment up until very recently.

Which factors of bitcoin instill this validity of investment?

Watch Video

the equations of bitcoin with gold are both have prices that sometimes rise and sometimes fall, but bitcoin is much more profitable than gold. we can invest, then get a lot of profit. bitcoin also has a price that continues to rise every year.
877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Industry Experts Believe Bitcoin Headed to $6,000 on: October 15, 2017, 06:01:32 PM
There’s an old saying, “Don’t let the fox watch the henhouse.” This may well be true when it comes to crypto-industry insiders and their opinions about the price of Bitcoin. But whether anti-Bitcoin fanatics like it or not, the price is steadily climbing toward the $6,000 mark.

https://www.cointelegraph.com/news/industry-experts-believe-bitcoin-headed-to-6000

I also think that way, bitcoin price will reach $ 6,000 a few months ahead. I think those who are anti bitcoin will be looking for bitcoin as their source of income. I am increasingly eager to collect bitcoin.
878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Coming Fork(s) Safety For BItcoins on: October 15, 2017, 05:03:09 PM
Just wondering, as I am reading a lot about Fork risks especially with bitcoin gold.

I have the private keys (the 12 words) safely stored.

What if I simply uninstall the wallet that has my BTC (it is Jaxx by the way) before the fork, then reinstall later and recover from the 12 keywords. Would that be ok or will be risk?

Would my BTC remain BTC or can accidentally be changed to BTG?

What safest wallet?

Your help highly appreciated.

I think you do not need to delete BTC. I suggest you still have BTC wallet because your coin will be safe on BTC wallet. if you want to have BTG no need to delete BTC, you better have both.
879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taking Courses to learn about Bitcoin on: October 15, 2017, 04:15:13 PM

If anyone has any experience, do share.

880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: October 15, 2017, 03:56:10 PM
Is bitcoin is indeed the new era of currency and the rest of crypto though right now there are only limited establishment that is using bitcoin as a payment but as the community grow the adaptation of people with bitcoin will also grow. So who knows in the next 3 to 5 years all stores will accept bitcoin when we shop.

I think bitcoin is a new era of currency, but bitcoin has not been accepted by all countries, only a few countries have received bitcoin. I hope a few more years bitcoin will soon be accepted in my country.
