861  Economy / Gambling / Re: Brand New Bitcoin Poker Room - Signing Up Players & Agents! on: August 01, 2020, 04:43:44 AM
A nice update for your site would be nice. Having required KYC when creating an account is not a good start. Once you are done updating your site with the suggestions in here then you will only need to earn trust. Some poker players will have a hard time to create an account because of KYC.

I always love to play at crypto based poker rooms but when i came to know that Kyc is mandatory, i was disappointed. Many people including me do not want to disclose their identity on gambling sites and why would we when we are using bitcoin as a payment method.  Roll Eyes
Pleas rethink your kyc policy so more players can join your poker room.
862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to win at casino on: July 31, 2020, 07:03:36 AM
Gambling is just for fun and victory is just luck, and that is my symbol and only fills my free time by playing gambling.
and I only have a stop strategy when my position is in victory and not to continue so that I get the full benefit because when I win and keep playing I will eventually lose everything, so I will stop when in a winning position.
and I bet with enough capital provided by me, and if I lose or win, I will stop according to the capital that I prepared but that way I have more wins than defeat, stop when I win and stop when I lose according with the capital that I prepared before.

You are stopping more often when you are in a winning habit. Most people think that when luck favors you you should play more and win more big amounts. Although you strategy is defensive one, gamblers usually willing to take more risks. The more risk you take, the more gain you can achieve.
863  Other / Meta / Re: An unfair treatment of Bitcointalk moderators on: July 31, 2020, 03:35:55 AM
Mistakes are common in this life, and we all make mistakes at one point or the other in our lives. I am writing this on behalf of my friend who has opened up to like 4 accounts and all has been banned, he even paid for like 2 of them for upgrade. Yet it was blocked at the slightest error. It is now safe to conclude that the admins of this forum want to make this a money making venture, looking for every excuse to ban people without a fair warning.
He told me the post that was claimed to have been erred has been deleted, isn't that enough punishment? Then the account got banned permanently, up to 4 accounts, there's no hope when one appeals, i am appealing to the moderator responsible to please unban my friends account @da_primate(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=947001;sa=summary).

He promised to abide by the rules of the forum to the letters going forward.

The accounts are banned for the reason already explained but i will like to highlight a point here. If your friend paid two of your accounts for copper membership, this does not mean that he has any special privilege to not to abide by the forum rules. You will still be treated as a normal member of the forum.

You can pay a one-time fee in order to increase the capabilities of your account. Be warned that:

You can still be banned if you break the rules. You will not get any special treatment.

864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 31, 2020, 03:08:51 AM
I guess everyone would be surprised by Ireland's comeback after losing 5 wickets for 28 runs. I honestly didn't expect they would post a target of 173 runs. I would be more surprised if they somehow manage a win even though it's highly not possible  Tongue
If the Ireland batsman can score some runs then we might see a good battle because England is experimenting with a new team and the way in which they batted chasing a small total loosing 4 wickets, it is possible to see an upset in atleast one match and the odds are really good for Ireland as they have done that in the past and those players are still playing in the team who could pull off the upset Wink.

England chased the target in about 27 overs. This means that if they had played first, they could have made over 300 runs which is just impossible for Ireland to chase in any circumstances. Even with the new team, England is a far better team than the Ireland who are newbies in the test cricket.
865  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to hire someone 600 usd a month on: July 30, 2020, 02:42:33 PM
Hiring someone for 7 hour work daily for 600 usd a month.

Very easy job ev3n a kid can do

Payment weekly in bitcoin

This guy is already offering similar kind of job since December and this is not good because he has no testimonial about the kind of job he is offering and besides this guy already had bad feedback from one member, not the kind of guy that you would want to work with

I'm quoting the feedback
Quote
This guy ask for people to make accounts on epicnpc website and scam the buyers by sending fake paypal payments as invoice and also sell stolen accounts. If you not want get on trouble then check here, and also he say can't pay you guys until he sell one account

https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/scammers-assasiner22558-0547-marianman.1538339/#post-6566699

Exactly this is what i was expecting from a job which offers 600 USD a month for a small work often turns out to be scam or fraud.
Also i was waiting for the OP to explain the job details but look like he will not return to this thread as now his scam has been exposed.
866  Other / Meta / Re: Huge donations to bitcointalk on: July 29, 2020, 06:53:27 PM
What if the donators get tired and do not donate anymore, how would the moderators be able to be paid?
The forum doesn't live out of donations.

theymos does ad rounds almost bi-weekly (last one) for the ads you sometimes see under the threads. In the last one, he got 0.63 BTC (for ~12+ days).

And he probably has some spare amount saved.

Sometime i feel that forum is missing a lot of funds by not using google ads. With the sort of traffic, this forum generates, google ads could generate a lot of revenue for the forum, but then it will not remain as clean (ads free) as it is now.
867  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus + Prisons on: July 26, 2020, 11:52:33 AM
Some inmates that have minor cases are being released in some advanced countries.

That is the easiest what can be done. Usually prisons everywhere lie in conditions that are below standard. Simply because there is always to little money to build more prisons. Crowd is very bad fro covid-19 spreading. So only smart thing is to send some prisoners to sit few months at home. I dont see any reason why that should not be done everywhere in the world. Well rich countries can fast build more prisons. Poor simply send few prisoners to housearrest.

There should be no special treatment for the prisoners. They are criminals and if you allow them the house arrest they may escape and the law enforcement agencies may not be able to find them. Also we don't want more crimes because of the criminal escaping the jails because of covid19.
868  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Lockdown easing - I'm back in the cafe on: July 26, 2020, 08:37:26 AM
it is true that there is easing but it seems that most people lack awareness that Covid-19 still exists and considers it normal.
really ironic with what we have done so far but the positive data of this virus continues to multiply, so is everything we do so far useless if not really disciplined.

If the people are not disciplined and have lack of awareness on the safety of covid-19, this could ruin all the efforts which were taken to lock-down the public to avoid the spread of the virus. Opening of the lockdown will become a nightmare for the government if the cases began to rise in big numbers.
869  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Face Mask Placebo on: July 26, 2020, 07:42:40 AM
I don't see anything wrong with a person wearing a mask in a store that he will take off when he comes out of it, but some people wear masks even when walking in the fresh air or playing sports, which is irreparable harm to their health.

It's not harmful and of course you can get infected by walking in the street without mask Roll Eyes

It's harmful and of course you cannot get infected by walking in the street without mask Roll Eyes

Cool

Provided the streets are empty and no infected person passes by you or sneezes on you  Wink

You should not wear the mask all the time and also it should not be the case that you don't wear the mask at all. You need to use comon sense on when to wear the mask and when not to wear it.
870  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How my bitcoins were nailed down in my grandfather's garage. on: July 26, 2020, 06:21:14 AM
Sounds silly  Grin. Who would have though to nail and use a hard drive as a tool holder? But anyway what's done is done. You should accept the truth that you have lost what you have earned. Besides, you never know how big Bitcoin will be at that time to be in fact it can be only compared on a penny so you never put so much importance on it and I can't blame you, honestly, if I were in your situation I would probably did the same.

It is a sad past but you gotta live up for it, besides it will never be too late so you can build up once again.

Lets suppose that was not nailed, it would have been lost or thrown in the garbage because at that time no one knew the value of the bitcoins in coming days and that hard disk did not contain anything valuable other than the bitcoins.
When we say that there are total 21 million bitcoins, we may be wrong because many bitcoins are already lost and not recoverable.
871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which website do you usually go to get your news and casino reviews? on: July 26, 2020, 05:59:07 AM
OK, thank you!
Np.  Wink

But where to check the reviews is the main question, I can suggest a few like trust pilot and ask gamblers both of them are good but the problem is that any recent problems and issues with the casino might not be mentioned in the trust score there so I always prefer to check the ANN of the casino here in bitcointalk and go through it quickly to find if there is any problem with the casino.

Also when you switch casino you can switch to the same owner for example I used to gamble at primedice but when I felt the need for sports betting as well, I just switched to stake.com and they have the same trustworthiness of primedice because they both belong to the same owner.
We as researchers of reviews, we can compile various resources that we can use. If we're not satisfied to the one that we've seen, there are other resources that we can check like those websites that you have given.

If the casino that you're searching for reviews isn't on those websites, you can always move forward to other source where it's given a review.

I don't use any external website to get news or reviews about the gambling sites. I mostly use bitcoin talk to keep my updated on all the news related to gambling.
If you are active on the gambling board here, you will get all the latest information here.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: July 26, 2020, 05:08:35 AM
You need to wait, cryptocurrencies are in the longest bear market in history. Take this opportunity and buy cheap cryptocurrencies. I am convinced that one day we will again talk about the missed opportunity, why didn't we buy more in the past when crypto was so cheap.  Wink Cool
The current price is already very low compared to ATH, so we can start buying now and wait. We don't know when the altcoin season will come, but it certainly won't last too long because it has been happening for almost 3 years now.
I think the altcoin season is coming very close and investors are tending to invest in the top coins a lot recently. This is the time to make money from the market and should use all the assets you have. I was planning to make a profit a few months ago and until now I just have to wait for the altcoin season to appear because most of the coins I buy are very cheap.

I have lot of coins in my portfolio which are all in a loss but now i see some recovery in the alt-market. The value of the altcoins is still very down but i hope this can change quickly and we can see some big recovery in the altcoins. Currently the high volume coins like ADA, ETH are gaining in value. I hope the low volume coins like HOLO should start pumping soon.
873  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: July 25, 2020, 05:16:48 PM
I have always said that there is a correlation between gamblers and investors as well, not that many gamblers can see it but many investors can see that. If you are an investor you are actually risking your money, you are saying that you would rather lose that money in investment and would like to see it not happening and instead making money but you are risking it.

What is the difference between that and playing dice? Not really that much to be honest with you. That is why I think investors know that deep inside they are gamblers as well, just not playing on provably fair and instead here you are the one that is getting the house edge as the investor. If you avoid playing and losing that investment, you could make above %10 per year very easily, but people would want more because of the risks involved.

Well, I think there is a big difference between gambling and investing. True, investing and gambling both involve taking a calculated risk. A chance taken after careful estimation of the most probable outcome.
But, when gambling, the house always has an edge - a mathematical advantage that a casino has over its players. Another key difference is that gamblers have fewer ways to mitigate losses than investors.

Well both of them are risky. If you invest in some scam scheme, your investment is gone forever. Sometimes even if we properly research before doing investment, even then we lost the money because we are unable to judge it properly.
Gambling is also risky but you always have a chance to start gambling with a low amount. You win some and lose some but again gambling is also not risk free.
874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 25, 2020, 04:18:24 PM
59/4 Anderson on strike again look like you and me only watching this test match right now Cheesy Wink

I am also watching the match and as expected the West Indies team failed to take the pressure of runs on the board. Look like West Indies team will need the help of rain to safe this test match. After winning the first test match,  West Indies disappointed in the later matches.
Chase gone second victim of Broad now West Indies in deep touble 78/5 Holder and Blackwood last hope for them if they want to alive in this match after these two only Dorwich then bowlers.

Happy now we have some more live member on this test  Cheesy

Many of us are watching the live match but not everyone is active on the forum at the same time to comment on the match.  Wink

The way west indies are losing the wickets, england have a very good chance of enforcing a follow on. This match could end up on the 3rd day, if that happens.

@Bitinity, congrats with your win!! Nice surprise to start the day!

Thanks buddy, I was so surprised indeed. I could not believe to see it come just after I switched from plinko to slot. Too bad my bet was just 2000 satoshi, if will be great win if I bet at least 10k sat or even more. But for sure no one knows when the luck come, probably I would get different result if I bet more at that time. I'm going to try it again soon with the weekly coupon code, lets see if my luck continues Smiley No need to worry of losing as I'll play with free money.

Congratulations on winning 0.04 btc  from 2000 sat only. There is no need to regret that you bet with only 2000. You did not knew before that you could win that amount , if you known before you would have bet with a whole bitcoin.  Wink
I hope you enjoyed and had a party with this winning amount.  Smiley
876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life soundtrack for Gamblers? on: July 25, 2020, 04:59:40 AM
When choosing a soundtrack for gamblers somehow it could help to keep coming back. As I have a done some slight research one of the top soundtrack for gambelrs is by Kenny rogers The Gambler the best known songs for betting. Well of course the best is still do some unique soundtrack which is pleasing to the ears of the people. Choosing a unique song that can motivate the players.

Most of the online sites give you a single soundtrack and there is no option to change it. I wold prefer if sites could allow us to customize and choose a sound track of our interest and mode. They can give us an option to play any soundtrack out of ten or any number. This will really be helpful to tune in to a sound track according to our mood.
877  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Telegram Scammer "support george fl" on: July 24, 2020, 03:14:35 PM
Dear crypto currency community,

please be carefully on Telegram.
I was contacted on Telegram yesterday by a user named "support george fl".
He said that he can sell me the items at positions 1st and 21th in the Auction from Krogothmanhattan for 0.12 BTC before the auction ends.
He also said that he was Krogoth and that he had heard from minerjones that I was a good and reliable user.

Then he asked, if I'm a collector or business man. I have blocked this user on Telegram.

This is the auction he mentioned, where I'm still on bidding:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5262499.0

I think, he have found me on Telegram, because I'm using there the same username.

Kind regards,
Cueneyt1986

Good thing you did not fall into his scam but there are many people who would have believed all this and paid the scammer. Unless you are 100% sure that the particular telegram belong to the particular person, do not go for any financial  deal. If you ask me , i would always PM to he person in bitcoin talk before making any deal.
878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 24, 2020, 02:23:15 PM
Does this look promising guys  Tongue

Possible rain on all five days of the match Lips sealed  I dont think we'll have a result out of this match even with the likes of Board, Anderson, Jofra and Woakes, unless the Windies were stupid enough to throw away the wickets as they did in the last day of the previous test.
First session ends without any trouble and both teams done good job as West Indies take 2 crucial wickets and England 66 runs now two key men on crease these both can changed things for England if stay on crease for some more time.

Edit: Big wicket for West Indies Stokes bowled by Roach on 20.

The match is in very interesting phase. England can bat the whole day and get good runs from here and a grip on the match. On the other hand WI can get quick wickets after stokes dismissal , can bowl out England for cheap. Rory Burns is looking good for England at 54 runs.

880  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake 3 Out Now!!! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: July 24, 2020, 01:38:11 PM
I have always suspected they do believe they have good "giveaways/competitions/promotions" but in the end we all know that is not even remotely close. Sure they do have probably the most frequent and high paying "race" or basically known as competition in place, and I do not think anyone but stake can do it this frequently for this high amount.

However that doesn't mean that they have great giveaways as well, I haven't seen a single one in recent memory that made me want to register to their forum, like think about it, they are so low that I would rather not even go register somewhere which would take like 1 minute at max.
FIAT based casinos have always provided better promotions when compared to crypto casinos, but the crypto casinos where primarily established with the goal of anonymity in mind which is why I don't mind less giveaways and promotions from them to be honest.

Stake needs to improve a lot in other areas like performance etc in order to be crowned the king of crypto casinos since I don't think they are the best yet. Sites like Crypto Games etc are better in comparison in my opinion.

Those fiat based casino knows whom they are giving the bonus and it is difficult to misuse the promo's on fiat based or kyc based casino. In online casino, i have witness people mostly misuse of the bonus because of the anonymity factor.
However in my opinion Stake is still a very good casino as compare to other online casinos and i always enjoy playing there.
