861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I choose Bitcoin on: October 04, 2023, 05:16:29 PM
If you were in the position to give financial advice to someone looking for a long term financial investment, what would you advice?...
It's not that tempting when an offer like that comes to me even though the interest rate is up to 13%.
If my partner comes and offers investment in something other than the country's currency, for example he comes offering land investment, maybe I will consider it as a decision.

Before I ask him to invest in Bitcoin, I will try to find out whether he has knowledge about Bitcoin and how interested he is in Bitcoin investment.

I think we could see some surprise results in most of the matches today, I expect goals in most of the matches and it's also possible that some of the matches will end in a goalless draw.
Like everyone else, I normally think we will see a lot of goals in the Leipzig-City match, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a goalless draw.
The average goal scored on matchday 2 in 8 matches was 3 goals. In the number of matches that will be played soon, I predict the results will also be the same, namely the average goals that will occur in the eight UCL matches.
If the Leipzig - Manchester City match is considered to be a match where there will be a lot of goals, I think that is a very difficult possibility. In their match, if the result is a draw, I hope it doesn't end up being 0-0 because it would be a boring spectacle.

In most games I expect the favorites not to lose, yesterday already a lot of favorites lost.
There's no way it won't happen again. Matchday 2 has lots of surprises.

Mbappe is PSG's burden. It is true that he is a player who has extraordinary talent, but the issues he has developed since the start of this season will have an impact on all players. I agree with you, PSG is too busy with the Mbappe problem so their basic goals are forgotten, I'm sure that when Mbappe leaves PSG will play better and more solidly, the coach will find it easier to implement strategies.
PSG's current situation is not because they are burdened by Mbappe's future, which in my opinion has no influence on the team's main target in every match.
Mbappe is an important player in the PSG squad and Mbappe is the main target player for other big clubs because of his abilities. In the match against Clermont Foot, Mbappe got good marks. I suspect the draw against a weak Clermont Foot team was part of Luis Enrique's plan to prepare his team to focus on facing Newcastle in the Champions League.

Government and their fear for Bitcoin!

[snip]

Please the government need to know this, they have already lost.
All the bitcoineers cheers
There is no resistance between Bitcoin and the government because Bitcoin is not a system of rebellion against the government financial system in the world. Governments in many countries around the world still provide opportunities for Bitcoin activities carried out through investment and trading.
Maybe you have heard about crypto-friendly countries like Germany.
Like in my country, the government still provides opportunities for people to use Bitcoin but it is not permitted as a means of payment.

Bitcoin is presented as a convenience in the financial system that allows people to freely carry out transactions with the most transparent network. That's what makes Bitcoin so great and recognized by the world.

Governments are good at cutting off the heads of a centrally controlled networks like Napster, but pure P2P networks like Gnutella and Tor seem to be holding their own." - Satoshi
865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: October 01, 2023, 08:43:16 AM
After the red devils thrashing of crystal palace in the carling cup tie during the midweek, I wouldn't expect anything less than a win from Manchester United. They were brilliant all through the game. Onana was just seating on goal and had nothing to do until the last minutes of the game when he was tested a couple of times. United's defence was solid, the midfield was fantastic, the attack looks threatening and I would expect them to replicate the same performance today, maybe not the exact scoreline but a win will do.
I began to pay attention to the appearance of Manchester United this season. Of course, as a Manchester United fan begins to not understand the way Erik Ten Hag played his players. Initially I thought that Ten Hag was doing a start test by placing a mount in the middle that did not match his position. Pulling out Hojlund when his appearance is good. Reserved Garnacho and played Ambabat as a wing back last night and continued to entrust Onana as a goalkeeper without giving Bayindir the opportunity to show his abilities.

For me all that is enough.
If this situation continues to be maintained by Ten Hag, I start pessimistic that the team that we support will not be able to achieve the best ranking at the end of the league this season.
866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risk management and responsible gaming on: October 01, 2023, 08:21:29 AM
Governments and several organisations work to encourage responsible gaming. This involves establishing betting restrictions, offering support to those who think they have a gambling problem, and participating in self-exclusion programmes.
The government only encourages games with sports value not not to encourage gambling games. The government does not want to disize gambling with its policies.

The game driven by the government can be made as a form of gambling by players or bettors. It depends entirely on each individual who uses it.
Every individual only plays games without betting. The closest example of the PUBG game, Mobile Legend. Some only play and some play as well as gambling.

If the person had an periodic income,he should ready to save the money for the future.Holding the money in the bitcoin will be the far better option for the saving. The bitcoin is the assets which can be hold for the longer period to get good profit by just holding. The recession in the economy will affect all the people expect the people who save their money for the future. We all know the things happened in the COVID,many people suffer to survive.Only the people who hold good money was escaped at that panic time.
Economic management. Bitcoin investment is one way to deal with a recession. Saving in the form of gold can also or other investments. Everything that does not unravel the value is included in a good way to face a dying economic problem.
Bitcoin investment is increasing the interest of people rather than the choice of other types of investment to anticipate economic permission such as recession.
A 2020 data shows the situation related to the level of investment that I took from Saylor.

Covid is a lesson and when large companies have a greater level of bitcoin adoption than other types are also learning why they do it.
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 30, 2023, 04:20:51 PM
No team wins this match. But I hope no team can score any goal in this match. If no team can score any goal in this match then the match will be draw.
Goals will appear in this match, but currently up to the 61th minute the two teams currently competing have not scored a single goal.
PSG have a big chance to score goals and win the match because they dominate the game.

For PSG, this match is quite important to continue to be on track to compete for the title because their opponent Clermont Foot is not a strong team in terms of player quality. PSG also doesn't want them to be too far behind on points with Brest.
Just wait until the final minute, the goal will happen. PSG's current statistics deserve to win.
869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 30, 2023, 02:04:13 PM
What would you say after seeing the results of the Aston Villa vs Brighton match. If I want to say whether this is true if Brighton is destroyed with a score of 6-1.
Brighton, a premier league team, is considered to always surprise many big teams, but when they visit Aston Villa's headquarters, they are like a team that has just been promoted from the championship.

Three goals in the first half and three goals in the second half made Roberto De Zerbi look like a coach who couldn't do anything. The English Premier League is different from other leagues because small teams can beat big teams, but Brighton's defeat with a large goal margin was inappropriate.

In other ongoing matches, I hope Manchester United can do better in beating Crystal Palace.
870  Economy / Economics / Re: Recession? How to face It? on: September 30, 2023, 01:49:13 PM
Michael Saylor has many ideas about people who want to find financial safety in the face of various challenges. One of them is by speeding up owning Bitcoin.
In my opinion, the way to deal with it is to have a lot of savings that are sufficient for the long time this condition lasts because when it comes, it is difficult to get all the income.
The explanation in this cointelegraph video is interesting about the recession and Bitcoin.
871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is cryptocurrency illegal in some countries? on: September 30, 2023, 01:18:34 PM
My negative opinion towards them is because of the fear of not being able to share in the profits if they legalize it. The government runs a government system with their control over all aspects including economic aspects. They want complete control of the financial system.
If they legalize Bitcoin as legal tender, they can't control it. Some cryptocurrencies that get controlled may not be so strict.
Who knows what their fears are about Bitcoin, they are trying hard on a CBDC that I don't believe will be completely successful.
You are right, that is the most reasonable reason as to why the government is not legalizing it. But governments often don't state this main reason because they argue there are specific reasons why bitcoin should not be legalized as currency. We often hear that bitcoin are used for illegal actions that violate the law, but that is the other side they talk about the use cases of bitcoin.
Talk of Bitcoin being misused is still a strong reason for them not to legalize it. We are sometimes confused by the government's unclear attitude regarding this matter. We want to say that they are organizers who are good at lying on one side of the truth because they are not consistent with the reasons that have been issued. On the one hand, they continue to address the issue that Bitcoin is often used for illegal actions, while they also continue to try with CBDC, which has many ways to go.

Misuse of bitcoin has been the main reason why governments don't legalize it, but I'm sure it's not the main reason they should reveal. The government's supposed inability to control bitcoin is the main reason why they don't want to legalize it.
I agree and for me it is very suitable for their situation. They really don't have any more ability to control Bitcoin even though they have all the power to block other things but are unable to control Bitcoin.
They are very petty.

[snip]
During bitcoin not restrict or banned by government have been enough for us who get benefit with investment and keep consistency trading bitcoin as our side job or could be main job to earn profit.
For certain countries that do not restrict the use of Bitcoin, they are very grateful, but for countries that are very opposed to Bitcoin, they will not open up space to their citizens in the slightest, it is regrettable. Perhaps by providing space for the use of Bitcoin as an investment and trading asset, the government of a country has carried out its role as a state administrator well because its citizens can earn income from the trading and investment activities they carry out.
872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 29, 2023, 06:30:25 PM
Xavi playing 3 wingers at once in this match when Barcelona lost De Jong. Does anyone expect Barcelona to lose or draw this match? I don't think that's really a good thing to expect.
To hope that Barcelona will lose this match against Sevilla will most likely not happen because several factors support that they will not experience defeat.

First, Barcelona played their home match at Camp Nou. This will benefit them. Against Sevilla will be Barcelona's fourth match at home. The three matches they have played at Camp Nou have all been wins.
Second, Sevilla are not in their best form this season even though their last match was able to win with a big score against Almeria.

For those who hope for a draw, maybe you can still hope because Sevilla certainly doesn't want to stay in the top 10 or bottom of the LaLiga standings for long.
873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: September 29, 2023, 06:06:55 PM
What makes gambling games a place to make money is totally wrong. Gambling is done by many people as a place to test how lucky they are that day and many people play gambling games for fun by considering the money allocated for gambling as buying happiness so that they are not forced to take back the money intended for other needs.

The concept of getting rich is not by gambling, but by working to generate profits every time you do your end-of-year bookkeeping. It's up to you whether you want to build your own casino.

[I just want to use this medium to appeal to the younger generation, please stay off gambling, if you must do so, gamble responsible, don't take it as your only source of living so it wouldn't milk you dry.
Your intentions are good. I agree and support because you care about the younger generation so that they are not associated with wrong gambling in actual gambling practices.

Inflation protection, due to inflation the value of so many currencies drops with this many people see cryptocurrency as offering protection against inflation. Bitcoin has a hard cap on the whole number of coins that will ever be minted.

876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Youth Gambling on: September 28, 2023, 06:33:51 PM
Among young people is a result of the availability of gambling alternatives, such as sports betting and online gambling. Gambling disorders can have long-term effects on a person's ability to complete their education and choose their future, and young individuals may be particularly susceptible to acquiring these illnesses
Of the many gambling companies that operate, they have a good attitude in implementing age limits for those allowed to play. One positive thing that many gambling companies have is that they apply a limit of +18 to be allowed to play, considering that gambling is not an activity that can guarantee players will be rich and is not an arena that promises players will not become addicted.

Before entering the age of +18, there is still time for young people to learn about the negative effects of being involved in various types of gambling. There is still time for parents to provide education about their future.
Those gambling companies don't need to be blamed because they are in business and they operate with a license.
877  Economy / Speculation / Re: Share your opinion on the market. on: September 28, 2023, 06:11:28 PM
Looking at the chart, September has never been good for bitcoin, but looking at the history of October, it has always been a green month for bitcoin, so we can expect more positive changes this October.
History records this, making it a measure that September is not a good month for Bitcoin in terms of price. I agree but not completely even though the Bitcoin price graph in 30d that I saw on several sites still shows the line in red.

My opposing thought says that there is still no theory that can guarantee that month A or B the price of Bitcoin in the market will continue to be in a miserable state. I see that this September is not as severe compared to the decline that occurred outside September.
There are those who are pessimistic that Bitcoin will not be able to reach a price above $27k, in fact 1 Bitcoin is trading at $27+ and has the potential to reach $28k.
878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: September 28, 2023, 05:45:55 PM
Yes, Gambling addiction has strained a lot of relationships through financial instabilities emotional turmoil, social isolation, and family problems.
It also depends on the type of gambling game and depends on where you play. Playing gambling without many people knowing will not damage friendships, but gambling with friends in one place offline can cause a rift in friendships because they know the amount of our winnings.

Playing gambling nowadays is different from traditional gambling which is not as popular as gambling that is accessed on the internet.
Most relationships will be damaged with wives because of different habits in the money factor. I often find that the relationship with my wife is broken due to gambling.
879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: Best wallet for Android? on: September 28, 2023, 05:11:33 PM
[snip]

One feature that has proven useful on several occasions is BlueWallet's RBF (Replace-By-Fee) capability. I consider this a crucial feature for mobile wallets because we often need transactions to be processed quickly. By bumping the fee, it at least saves us transaction time in case of network congestion in the Bitcoin network.
Bluewallet is an almost perfect Bitcoin wallet android version based on my thoughts. There are many features available on the Bluewallet wallet, one of which is fee & transactions control.
We can read briefly about the fee & transactions control feature,

Provides you a fee estimation targeting confirmations in 10m, 3h or 1 day. With real time calculation on how much to spend. Ability to Bump and Cancel sent transactions with "Replace-by-fee" (RBF) or with "Child-pays-for-parent" (CPFP).

Multisig vault is another feature supported by Bluewallet. In release version v6.4.8, they fixed invalid cosigner when scanning cosigner during multisig vault setup.

No matter how great the Android version of the Bluewallet wallet is, don't dare use it as a wallet for storing large amounts of Bitcoin for security reasons.
