861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: March 30, 2016, 05:20:53 PM
I still can't believe the Cavs did not pull away with the match yesterday, it's a blow that LeBrone wasn't playing but they should have still won, Games like these makes me doubt the Cavs can win the title playing completely on a single player "the warriors can still win games without curry IMO".
862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: March 30, 2016, 05:19:32 PM
That's part of it's nature IMO and why many people get attracted to it generally, Probably has something to do with brain chemicals and adrenaline if you want a scientific explanation but generally I think because it's exciting for those gambling.
863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 30, 2016, 05:11:33 PM
Eventually seems my NZ pick that seemed very decent to me in the start of the match missed by a large margin, Surprised how england bowlers played a good game near the end after NZ was going for 200, That was the biggest turnaround in the game IMO and ignited the top batting performance by there starters as well IMO.
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: March 30, 2016, 05:09:06 PM
I don't think this is correct for the majority of those gambling money, The casino's, dice sites and even sportbooks have their own favorable odds to them "i.e the house edge, spread" Therefore on long term the mathematical profit should be negative IMO.
865  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: World's First Physical Bitcoin wallet on: March 30, 2016, 05:06:24 PM
That's not the really first physical bitcoin wallet, Trezor and the like are also hardware like wallets that are intended to be used for multiple transactions and should be as secure as an offline machine, still find this idea interesting though Smiley
866  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: March 30, 2016, 05:04:18 PM
Soon is just to much of an exaggeration for bitcoin now, I think bitcoin does have the potential to replace dollar but that would be so hard and difficult to predict seriously since the dollar is the top currency in the world and the base of the current financial system i.e even the financial system needs to be changed if bitcoin is to replace the dollar.
867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: March 30, 2016, 05:02:32 PM
The France - Russia game was so much entertaining, Not because of the mutual good performance from one team but because how France played and dominated from the start of the match, They played a top game although it would be better if they could do it in important international games rather than friendlies.
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: March 30, 2016, 04:59:51 PM
it's easy to say it like that but I'm sure it's not that easy to do for those who are gambling, You should always remember not to gamble any more money than what you are ready to lose since the odds are always against the player if you add the house edge etc... making gambling a negative profit game.
869  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 30, 2016, 04:54:35 PM
The fact that bitcoin is so new makes it hard to pick it in such a two-choice game IMO, gold has existed from many years and it's value although not that stable is still approved by most people and therefore gains value, Bitcoin is new and has not completed 10 years yet and does not have that much of mainstream adoption yet.
870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft will continue to support bitcoin on: March 30, 2016, 04:51:16 PM
A big mistake from microsoft imo, Information like this shouldn't be mentioned in mistake and I recall how many of those dump followers tried to use the false info microsoft dropped bitcoin "not that I think it would matter anyway".
871  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: March 30, 2016, 04:44:58 PM
Because I see it as a good investment to hold into bitcoin and wait for a price change in the current time, with bitcoin going more and more mainstream I think it's a good thing to buy a few and hold them for a price increase and perhaps a big price movement as well.
872  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: March 30, 2016, 04:39:16 PM
I like the ease and simplicity of using it and the instant nature of it and the sites running and using it, I also like the community of people using it, The least favorable part is the slow confirmation time sometimes and having to wait for more than an hour for the first confirmation in spam attacks.
873  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: March 30, 2016, 04:31:29 PM
I'm buying bitcoin when I see it is a good deal, occasionally when the price falls I buy some bitcoins and mostly the price recovers, Even when it doesn't recover BTC itself is still valuable to keep IMO.
874  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: March 30, 2016, 04:09:52 PM
I think it has a very good potential if you look how it's right now, Bitcoin is moving more into the mainstream and getting increased media coverage as well, With that I think it has the ability to be the top used currency in the internet IMO.
875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin on webcam sites ? on: March 30, 2016, 04:08:30 PM
There are some girls using webcam sites based on bitcoin, If you explore through the forum you would find some of these sites are even running promotional campaigns, I think allot of bigger sites would adopt bitcoin as well as soon as they see how advantageous it can be.
876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why most of btc users are russians? on: March 30, 2016, 03:56:59 PM
I don't think that the percentage and amount of russian bitcoin users is way out of proportionate to that extent, They are a big economy and has a big interest in online trading etc... but they are still a normal % when compared to US bitcoin users for example.
877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin ever goes mainstream on: March 30, 2016, 03:40:59 PM
I don't think it will be like this, If bitcoin goes mainstream enough then people would get plenty of opportunities to join in since it won't be a surprise but a gradual process, IMO everyone is getting an opportunity to join bitcoin.
878  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: March 30, 2016, 03:39:25 PM
I think it has some big potential to be so, Bitcoin is already gaining more grounds and getting more adoption right now, with the halving incoming as well it could be a big year for bitcoin in both the adoption and the price fields.
879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: March 29, 2016, 08:01:20 PM
You would be gambling if they are being done randomly and just trading without indicators or any good analysis of the direction and size of the market, I have been in forex before and the random trading is a form of gambling in my opinion.
880  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: March 29, 2016, 07:59:52 PM
You can't guess the bitcoin price a day or two in the future "not even a minute after" so how about 20 years? The amount will be significantly affected by it's price since the world will most likely still be USD based, Anyway if bitcoin is more than $1,000 I think around 1000 Bitcoin would be sufficient.
