I say the super-bullish sign will be breaking $166.43 - that's when the choo choo train will leave the station for good.
So would it be safe to say 'we will never see $95 again' ? If someone sells 67,800 btc then sure we can see $95 again... but there are only a little less than 100k btc for sale on the order book, i don't think it's going to happend. Bids can be removed, and coins can appear out of nowhere in a crash. Stay alert.  |

And BTW, here you have the last three months with daily candles and 10 and 21 EMAs as per Goombo's strategy:  Pretty useless, isn't it? It would have assured you a price of around $50-60, while the actual price could have simply crashed to the ground. You can also see that he enjoyed a nice gain from the previous months. |

I don't think so. After the peak in 2011, the price went down for months, in a long and excruciating winter for every Bitcoin advocate. Another possibility, is that we are there:  Precisely when we had a bunch of VC investments announced. Either way, I remain cautious. Edit: BTW, while it would be great for my portfolio, it would also be very bad for Bitcoin. |

And who is to say this might not happen again, but for instance with "Bitcoin is illegal and it's dead"? Remember that those sentiments only are created once the price has already fallen for a longer time. Bitcoin was only declared dead by Wired near its very bottom at 2.
I'm willing to bet that we are going to see 4 digits within a few years, but boy, do most of the newcomers here have unrealistic expectations.

Was it some kind of upward trend? Price volatility?
I guess an asset which price was $0.079 on May 2010 and $266 on April 2013 has quite an appeal for traders Except he began trading Bitcoin way before $266. |
