I have 62 days, all natural. No artificial means were used.
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any x13 miner for 58/59xx series AMD GPU? on: June 02, 2014, 02:35:18 PM
This is just my assumption, but it seems the x13mod kernel is optimized for GCN core cards, ie. 7xxx/R7/R9 series. The 5xxx/6xxx run VLIW core technologies, totally different than GCN.

That's irrelevant.  Plenty of algos are mined with cards that were never 'optimized' for a particular algo.  But thx for the bump.  Maybe someone helpful will post now Smiley

LOL...It is relevant, because the GCN core is more like a cpu structure and VLIW is more just a graphic accelerator than compute type gpu. So, that why is easier to optimize GCN card, than VLIW. Even Nvidia Maxwell core is kind of copying AMD's GCN core. More vectorization coding is needed to assist the VLIW cards.

Why does my 5850 work then? I run 14.4 drivers, start the miner with...default settings work, maybe itensity 15-16 and I mine at over 1Mh/s.

What is wrong with the one from lasybear? I have a 5850 and x11 and surely x13 work just fine. What seems to be the problem?

Is there a reason why you didn't edit out the furry images?

'let your freak flag fly'?

i.e. be cool, don't let other people tell you how to live, and do your own thing Smiley
Hey look, if he's trying to imply he is homosexual, I am fine with that, but those images weren't really necessary for the miner screenshots.

is this work with nicehash??
i cant run it
always waiting for work from pool
any tip?
The latest version from the sgminer-dev git, branch 5_0 has support for nicehash.
i mean x11mod not original branch versions
i got it to work but now not switching to second pool when no work from nice hash
Yes, 5_0 has support for nicehash WITH x11mod.

we cant rent our rings
the failover option doesnt work as expected

failover is not available in this miner. You can either alter the source code to fit your needs or look for alternative solutions that have been posted on previous comments in this thread.
I've created a pull request to add your copyright.

Poolnames just work for me from the beginning. Just use "poolname"

"Poolname" : "miningrentalrigs x13",

Code:

Actually with some changes I've pushed to lasybear's git the pool name will be the pool URL, since otherwise it requires you to manually input it.
872  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is it possible to fabricate a blockchain ? on: May 30, 2014, 01:43:08 PM
Perhaps he is referring to Bitcoin-Scrypt? In which case, it is possible to retain the same blockchain and use a different PoW.
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Open Source XPM Pool + GPU Miner (aka. madPrimeMiner) on: May 30, 2014, 01:38:40 PM
So let me get this straight? You integrate the pool into the XPM source code thus exposing the pool to pretty much direct access?  I know one can disable access other from localhost, but this pretty much requires the XPM node to run alongside the pool, rather than on separate servers. Meaning if you DDoS the pool, you DDoS the node or vice-versa.

Perhaps the pool was down at that time or you have added a backup pool? This sgminer has NO hidden pools.

First time using git to commit, but I've created some small pull requests.

What are all the settings in the bat file? Sounds like you are missing more settings.

Had someone succeeded on running htis mod on older gen Radeons?

I tried on 5850 and 6970
It compiles, runs and  NO accepted shares. Just HW increasing

Previous version, which was giving 2-2.1MH on 290 runs fine on these radeons
Using Cat 14.4 because prev version needed these to increase performance (on 13.12 there was no gain)
Yes, I have a 5850 and 14.4 drivers, x11mod works just fine, just from some default settings and underclock gets me 1.07Mh/s. Accepted and all that.

Using martingale(aka martinfail) guarantees you will lose. Sorry guys, I lost 2.15btc to know it's true, never ever use martingale, for anything.
