TGE postponed to the 31st of May:
Thank you to all who submitted KYC applications during our whitelist registration period which ended on Sunday May 20th.
We’ve received a remarkable quantity of applications, greatly exceeding our initial projections. Our automated process successfully screened out clearly fraudulent applications, which comprised only a small percentage of the applications received. We now have a backlog of thousands of legitimate applications that we need to manually review as required by Swiss regulations. Since you all spent a lot of time and care to prepare the required documents, we feel it is our responsibility to the community to review each and every one of the submitted applications.
Even with a team of 10 that has worked tirelessly to review documents since the start of the KYC period, it would take us more than the next 48 hours to be able to go through each application and arrive at an (approved or denied) decision based on the KYC criteria.
After discussion with our team and our advisors, we are updating the TGE start date to Thursday, May 31, 2018 13:00 CEST (Zurich) to accommodate the large amount of applications. Based on acceptance rates, we should be able to project and announce the individual caps for Batch C by Monday, May 28, 2018. For early Cardstack supporters, you will also receive notification of your individual caps which will be higher as a symbol of our appreciation. We will be updating the TGE dashboard to reflect this information in the next twelve hours.
We know how eager you are for the TGE to commence. Similarly, we are thrilled and grateful to reach this final step in our fundraiser with such strong support.

We’d like to start with a short introduction and a plea to the industry for everyone’s sake: In order to encourage innovation, and in the hopes of building a world better than the one we’ve inherited, we must adopt healthier standards for debate and criticism than what we’ve seen here. We must hold ourselves to a higher standard than the “fake news” and soundbite culture we’ve come from. We must present clear and specific research for our opinions in order to contextualize them. We must assume good faith unless we have actively reached out to those we levy claims against and have been met with none or uncooperative response. We, as an industry, deserve this, because our mission to reimagine the systems which facilitate the collaboration of free humans is no less than critical. George D. Zamka
Aviation Advisor
A former Marine aviator, NASA astronaut, Space Shuttle pilot/commander, as well as an executive at the FAA. During his time with the U.S. Marines he served as a test pilot, maintenance officer, and weapons and tactics instructor. While at the FAA he served as Deputy Associate Administrator for Commercial Space Transportation. He later worked on expandable space stations while Director of the BA330 Crew and Cargo Program at Bigelow Aerospace, and remains active in the space and aviation sectors. He holds an undergraduate mathematics degree for the US Naval Academy and a Masters of Science in Engineering Management from the Florida Institute of Technology.

May 17 Update
It’s been a super-eventful week for us busy bees at CoinMetro. Here’s a quick update of the best bits…

Very excitingly (!), CoinMetro now has a license which grants us the ability to provide fiat to crypto, crypto to fiat, and crypto to crypto exchange services!

Equally excitingly, CoinMetro now holds an eWallet license, which grants us the ability to provide crypto and fiat currency eWallet services! CoinMetro will offer both a hot and cold wallet service, which you’ll be able to use to store and/or transfer virtual currencies.
