OK, apparently there seems to have been an sync issue..
There may prove to be invalid checkpoints.
*** This is urgent and should be considered faulty until further notice. ***
*** Please do not TX any funds until further notice ***
We are looking into things as we speak so please hold off on transactions until we can clearly identify the problem and prepare a working fix.
In preparation for whats to come please have a look over the potential method.
1) Hard code in a new checkpoint
2) Make sure all the seed nodes are using the new wallet and are all in sync
3) Get all the people who are having problems to delete the block chain, download the new wallet and fully re-sync against the seed nodes
This is probably the simplest way.
we are working to resolve this in the quickest and most painless way possible.
Estimated Time-frame: 12-24hrs

Supernode is up and running. Currently 17 connections, including all of the nodes from the OP. As posted on my pool, this coin has a huge tendency to fork, needs to much babysitting, I'm adding this supernode, hope it fixes things now. I've deleted the entire .gamerholic folder for the sixth time now, hope it'll be the last, I can't believe how many times this has forked, last night it tried to fork twice... Uhm.. this is a serious issue.. what's with all the forking? So which is the right chain now ?  One that dev and his merry band is on lol dev you think its funny? your friends mine some foking unknown pool and you say its the right fork? while ppl with rented rigs mine on pool with 700+ th and its the wrong fork? you need to come up with better excuse Wow this is messed up.. |

Why all the doubt? Actually burned my fingers a lot on other altcoins, losed a large stash of btc ( between 20/30 ) so i'm more cautious. I doubt every word I hear in this industry. I'm still here long-holding Aero. Just gotta do your own homework till you are confident one way or another. |

For some clarity, Proof Of Developer and CoinSource are two different processes that the developer can spend time on to show the community what he's all about. In order to get a one of these ratings, the developer has to take the time to give the community some additional information about himself, with the process varying between the two. It just helps the holders see a little more information about who is running the show. We only chose to start with these coins out of ease.. it's a selection of coins ready to go. We will be expanding into a general voting thread so if you want a coin added.. just voice your opinion like the DarkCoin community has. We will also be pruning coins with little to no support, so if you are apart of a coin with no votes, you should consider getting other holders to vote and show their support. Here is our most recent addition / removal update.Remember.. we will be adding coin descriptions to the main post. If you want one added about your coin just write one up in the same format as the Aerocoin one that was provided as an example, logo included. Thanks guys, glad to see the continued interest. |

We need more summaries!Aero is still the only coin with summary in OP, and even though someone accused this thread to just be advertisment for Aero, it is not an attempt on that. Yes, I am on the Aero market team, but this is a thread for all coins on the list to voice themselfes. Every coin can get on OP. Just need a summary, witch is not more then 600 characters and only image who will be added is logo. The summary of a specific coin should have information about the dev team, what projects they are working on, what they already have, etc.. When you post it, add this on top so it will be easier for me to find: "This is a summary of (The Coin), witch can be added to the OP"Thank you all for the great posts that have been made, and lets keep this going. Some very strong coin communities out there, and its a joy to watch So.. Does nobody else want to have their coin descriptions added to the ANN? :/ i think every developer team is about to ask to add their coins to the ANN as it's a good way to promote you coin if you are sure it will succeed. In other cases the coins which are out of the list don't worth the attention because devs aren't interested to cooperate with other projects and this is bad signal for the community I hope so Maybe it will encourage people if they knew I plan on promoting the most popular coins in this thread on social media and in articles and such.. because I am going to on a reasonable interval. |

i voted for checkcoin, because its finally something new. while anon is cool i think we have enough approaches in that area now. about checkcoin: -pod5+, started and maintained by a legit dutch company called 'bitsend' -new geolocation feature in the works -physical 'treasure hunting' and faucets -great way for businesses to advertise and reward customers ... there are prolly more possibilities i fail to discribe or haven't thought of. check it out here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=715563.0Yeah sounds pretty different haha |

Nobody in alts is really trying to overtake BTC, this is a bit of a stigma. What we are doing here is competitively developing upon and expanding the bitcoin architecture. Bitcoin is very static.. it can't really be changed anymore. Altcoins? Yeah they die and improve every day. It's more risky and volatile yes.. but some of them are doing really well and coming up with incredible innovations. It's more about the innovations than the price. An altcoin may not overtake BTC, but I can promise you the next big Crypto company will come out of alts.. not BTC. And when a method is developed to apply a better, more seamless purpose to cryptocurrency that actually draws the masses in again.. yeah that'll be alts. You should do some research into what is actually going on here. I suggest starting HERE. Ironically I was just talking about people exactly like you in that thread. |
