Water existing over million years,Sand existing over billion years and you were existing over 50 years so you and all these thing need to be more valued than gold and bitcoin. Tongue

Price is not based on years it is based on "Demand and Supply".
864  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin continues to decline? on: February 06, 2019, 09:03:00 PM
Do you think bitcoin will continue to fall to prices below $ 3000? I saw the market conidisi kept red, without green. At the beginning of 2019, there seems to be no sign of a change in a better direction. What do you think about this? Please give opinions that are simple but easy to understand. Thank you!
The price of bitcoin is very very less few years back but now its more than $3000,so if you care about the prices losses then why you didn't ask why the price increased?why did you invested on a thing which has very much volatility? Roll Eyes
865  Economy / Economics / Re: The harmful affect of a continuous downward movement of the Bitcoin price. on: February 05, 2019, 07:39:13 PM
If the price fell too much then you can buy more bitcoins with the money what you have so just take it easy!

Looks like harm for now but in the end of 2019 we may see some huge bump....[shhhhhh]

All caught up on the thread finally on a layover in the Narita airport. I see there's new consensus on hat code.  Seems like a harmless soft fork.
I have a friend who has lost everything on quadriga.  I introduced her to bitcoin a couple years ago and explicitly told her not to leave BTC on exchanges for this very reason. Oh well, what else can one do? I still somehow feel kinda responsible for lighting that fire initially which I've also learned from.  I think the secrecy intrigues more people than talking about it anyhow.
Off to SW USA for 10 days. Mmmmm.... Mexican food

If it is her then you can make her happy in some other way,mmmm...

Do you get what I mean? Kiss

Get her after 10 days.

Whatever don't use Ripple because its is centralized. Roll Eyes

When something means centralized the creators can make the maximum level to be printed as they want so don't use it. Kiss
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Games AS TYPE OF INVESTING on: January 29, 2019, 02:28:43 PM

If you already have your game developed then just start launching it and promote it via various platforms like BTT and others.^\__/^

Thank you for reply! Which platforms do you prefer? We want to use Telegram chat to communicate with community but some people advice us to use Discord. What do you think is the right decision for crypto community?

Bitcointalk and Reddit is best to promote any crypto related thing. Cool

Use discord if you want more security or just use Telegram when you want to be more user friendly.

876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why I believe Bitcoin will remain number 1 on: January 29, 2019, 03:48:53 AM
Many argue that one of the altcoins can probably in the future beat Bitcoin and be number 1 in CoinMarketCap. I believe Bitcoin will be never beaten by any altcoin, especially centralized one, because Bitcoin is decentralized, is the first crypto currency created, and worshipers of Bitcoin will increase over the time.
If another Bull run happens, Media will only talk and focus on Bitcoin, new comers in crypto will learn about Bitcoin first and foremost.
I believe in crypto. But I worship Bitcoin. And all the coming bull runs will be led by Bitcoin.
You think bitcoin will be number one because of decentralized and media hype? Angry So you don't actually trusting bitcoin's technology.
877  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin and global warming on: October 03, 2018, 11:58:19 AM
I think our main problem is the huge electricity expense induced by mining and its noxious effect on the climate. This is, to my mind, the only serious argument against Bitcoin.
Alleviating the electricity expense should be one of our priorities. If we do not do it for the sake of the Earth (which we really should) we should at least do it selfishly because governments will not tolerate this forever and they will be right. The more the exchange rate increases, the worse it gets, of course.
Some solutions exist though: first there is proof-of-stake, of course. This technology may be too young to be deemed reliable enough but we should at least start considering it.
If we do not like proof-of-stake I think we could drammatically decrease the electricity expense by stopping monetary creation now. Nowdays Bitcoin is famous enough to remain secure even if miners earned transaction fees only. And if as a whole there are 16.5 M coins instead of 21 M, this does not make much of a difference. That is even good for holders. To make miners agree with that solution, they must be compensated for their lost income.  More precisely, active miners must be compensated because they have already bought ASICs. Futures miners do not need to be compensated. Since mining is a competitive industry, future miners will make no profit on average, whatever the reward scheme. To compensate active miners we could decide that the next 2016 blocks yield, say, 100 new coins and then 0 forever. Everybody would win and the Earth above all!
There are probably many other solutions and I wish the community cared a little more about this fundamental issue.

Not interested in your mad-cap commie globalist "global warming" hoax
