861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: August 05, 2019, 11:43:41 PM
Not dead, but dying. Of the recent examples of successful ICOs, I know only one. Ferrum Network, ICO raised $ 300,000, and is now trading at a price of 1.5 from the price of sales. Not the best result, but not the worst.
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in IEO BITTREX? on: August 05, 2019, 11:30:15 PM
Almost all the projects that carried out an IEO on this exchange were very costly for investors due to the fact that the coins fell in price immediately after the listing. I do not trust this exchange in matters of conducting IEO.
Almost all exchanges i think not really affect on project token price. It is all depends on their developers that who must take any control so their token price not dropped after listed in market.

I do not agree with you. Any exchange conducting IEO wants to ensure that the price of a coin grows immediately after listing, especially for first projects. It directly depends on whether people are interested in further investments on this exchange or not.
863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOINTALK FORUM ADMINS SHOULD HELP BOUNTY HUNTERS. on: July 30, 2019, 06:38:18 PM
Only you yourself are responsible for participating in a project that did not keep its promises and deceived with payments. As well as for participation in scam projects, no one forces you to participate in such projects, and if you are too lazy to analyze the project deeply looking for pitfalls, the forum administration is not obliged to rake it for you.
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in IEO BITTREX? on: July 29, 2019, 04:17:31 PM
Almost all the projects that carried out an IEO on this exchange were very costly for investors due to the fact that the coins fell in price immediately after the listing. I do not trust this exchange in matters of conducting IEO. The Ocean Protocol, for example, is now being traded at a price x0.1 from the sales price. It is unthinkable.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IPHONE & ANDROID USERS NEEDS TO BE EXTREMELY CAREFULL on: July 28, 2019, 10:49:23 PM
I am not worried about third-party strange, useless new wallets in app and google. What worries me most is the other applications on my phone, some of which have full access to settings and the file system.

866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful of alts you hodl on: July 28, 2019, 10:43:40 PM
Little by little the old altcoins give way to the new. Therefore, it is important to get rid in time of coins that in the future do not have much chance of growth compared to their newly minted counterparts.

867  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to double capital in 2 months? on: July 28, 2019, 10:41:34 PM
You can really do it, and in completely different ways. The easiest, in my opinion, is investing in cryptocurrencies that will soon start to grow, such as altcoins. Another option, more difficult, is trading.

868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is $25 XLM worth your privacy (identify). on: July 28, 2019, 10:40:01 PM
Unfortunately. we can not know the real lives of the forum members. I know some nations who have a daily wage less than $5 and they are busy with bounty hunting. Because of this fact, let them do their small tasks. It is really worth to get a 25$ XLM for their privacy, unfortunately.

Alas, yes. Many people are at the threshold of poverty, having rather mediocre prosperity, and not having the opportunity to work in a paid job. The environment pushes them to reveal their identity for the sake of money.

869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO & IEO at the same time possible? on: July 28, 2019, 10:37:35 PM
As a rule, projects choose one or the other, often abolish the ICO in favor of an IEO, by conducting a fundraising on the platform of the exchange selected by the project. It makes no sense to hold both at the same time.
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your private keys on: July 26, 2019, 05:14:09 PM
I usually store my private key 3rd times, first was in my computer, second in my flash disk, and third i print out in a paper than i store it in my cabinet  Grin
I think paper wallet is still the very best of storing these keys, you just have to ensure that you keep more than one copy of the paper wallet and probably laminate them too to avoid liquid contact that could destroy the paper, most of my keys right now as I speak are on paper wallet, let me then see where the hackers, scammers and all the bad bloods that we have in the cryptocurrency industry with follow to come and steal my coins.

I don’t have any of them online, because if I store it on my computer, I visit lots of sites and could be exposed to phishing software’s, I cannot because of crypto not open sites for other things, and if I store it in a flash, same thing could happen to flash, virus could even attack my flash, so I better stick with paper wallet alone.

Great lamination idea. Moreover, I just realized that it is possible to laminate the QR code, so nothing will threaten the security of the keys on the paper wallet. The main thing is not to forget to make several copies, and also not to forget where you hid them.
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trump's statement against cryptocurrency on: July 24, 2019, 11:37:11 PM
In my opinion, it does not matter what the president says about cryptocurrency. Of course, it would be great if he urged everyone to buy Bitcoin and invest in cryptocurrencies, but what he says about Bitcoin is already good.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: be ware of the airdrop forms on: July 24, 2019, 11:31:46 PM
You'd be surprised, but a lot of airdrops sell our email bases to the network, then, as you can already guess, we have a huge mountain of spam and phishing on our emails. That is why for airdrop should use a separate email.
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: July 19, 2019, 04:47:02 PM
in my opinion doing KYC for bounty is indeed an obligation and must be done, even though the bounty campaign that was carried out eventually ended in failure, it does not mean that it was all wrong with KYC, indeed the crypto market factor is lacking the attractiveness of investors

A huge number of projects requiring an identification procedure are a scam. It is not always possible to identify such projects immediately. Thus, having hurried to undergo the KYC procedure, your documents fall into fraudsters,  then they can sell your personal data to the black market, where your documents fall into the hands of other fraudsters. Not too bright prospects.
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get your hopes too high on: July 19, 2019, 04:40:20 PM
When i participate bounty campaigns, i don't care how much funds allocation for bounty hunter. But, i must know the future of that project, what advantages if i holding that coin or token, and many else. The value of token worth is not important for me, it will be grow up following the project development.
If the token already listed on exchange, i'll sell when its enough for me, i'm not holding for long term from bounties token.

You're right. It makes no sense to look at the profit that the project promises. The whole essence lies in its performance. After all, as current practice shows, it is enough for a strong project to conduct an IEO on a large stock exchange so that its price would make x2-x10 +.
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be afraid of making mistakes on: July 19, 2019, 04:38:40 PM
Cryptocurrency errors are completely different formats. First of all, all mistakes, as in any other activity, are connected with a lack of experience, which is compensated by making mistakes. But it’s hard to learn from a mistake when you don’t know if your decision was wrong. Many failures are perceived by us as mistakes, but if our plan was a success, we would not consider this a mistake, even if it were a mistake.
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your Goals in regards to cryptocurrency? on: July 19, 2019, 04:34:40 PM
In our technological age, a lot of innovative trends appear, most of which do not achieve their ultimate goal, but the rest becomes mainstream. Those people who invested their time and money in time in one of these areas secured their future for life. I believe that cryptocurrency is one such direction.
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My eth is hacked ........ on: July 13, 2019, 08:21:41 PM
That is a very sad news and we feel sorry for what had happen to you. We need to be very careful on handling our tokens or coins where we save our hard-earned crypto. It is really hard to identify the culprit wallet personal address, I guess you need to share the wallet you have downloaded so that we may be warned.

It really would be very sad if this was not the fault of the owner of the wallet. Everything looks very obvious to me. All our mistakes, inattention, haste, are very expensive in the cryptocurrency world. Especially installing third-party wallets.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season is not here yet. on: July 13, 2019, 08:14:10 PM
Everyone expects some movement from the Altcoins, but no one knows when it will begin. Many are beginning to think that the Altcoins are dead, and this is the first sign that the Altcoin season is near.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this good for bounty checks? on: July 13, 2019, 08:03:06 PM
I am just a beginner of this forum, curious how to find a promising bounty campaign because of the many good projects but at the end of the campaign being a scammer,

1. Check Team
2. Check Concept
3. Check Partnership
4. Check Media Press
5. Check Sales IEO

Whether to follow the bounty must know 5 above it so that the bounty we follow does not lead Scamerr,

What is your opinion?

Check the team not only for real accounts, but also for projects in which they participated earlier. Often, seemingly legitimate projects are conducted by highly dubious individuals.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ideal Time to Accumulate more Alts? on: July 13, 2019, 07:54:15 PM
It is risky as Bitcoin is still at a very high price. But some altcoins are worth less than their bottom price. It is not a bad idea to buy altcoins as they might get pumped.

Be careful with the definition of the bottom, many traders and ordinary people including me, have lost much on the wrong definition of the bottom. Perhaps the bottom of the altcoins is somewhat lower than we see now.
