Only 88% efficient, if you OC Ants they'll be around 400 Watts maybe more. 800 Watts/850 Watt PSU is 94% so mathematically exceeding the theoretical limit. Stock clock, 360 Watts *2 = 760 Watts/850 PSU = 85% = no worries. Basically you want 1000 Watts or more to be safe, without worrying about tripping the PSU. do these ant's get super loud when you OC them? going to be running them under my cubicle desk at work.. so maybe I shouldnt be overclocking? lol it won't work, unless you are in the southern hemisphere (where winter is coming): too much heat. Some units like to squeal when fans are accelerating to 2800 rpm. Too hot to run under an office desk? |
