861  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL starts taking pre-orders for 1TH Imperial Monarch Miners on: April 02, 2014, 07:27:49 PM
I've got to admit that miner looks real and i love to be able to use it in PC like a GPU

How would you use it like a gpu? Unless your video games run exclusively on sha256 hash have fun pal.
862  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: April 02, 2014, 07:25:59 PM
Personally gold. You explicitly said 10 years which I count as long-term, which was the purpose of gold and other precious metals. Preservation of wealth and long-term holding. If I could choose both, it probably be 55/45 (GOLD/BTC).

In other news, just got off the phone with a nice District Attorney who is preparing a case against Butterfly Labs, who wanted to discuss and get more details on the complaints I submitted last year.

What do you know... The justice system works, even if the wheels do turn slower than we'd like sometimes.

*whistles innocently*

Seriosuly?!?!?! Keep me posted! Want to see BFL burn to the ground!
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Alt coin to invest in 2014 on: April 02, 2014, 07:18:40 PM
Sadly I have no BTC to put into a stake of NEM. Will have to be on the sidelines again :/
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New Gridseed Blade Miner 5.2MHash/$3000 on: April 02, 2014, 06:59:05 PM
$1700 for 5.2 mh/s? I'd probably consider that, even though its significantly less than what you could get, but you pay a premiuim for RIGHT NOW. Recursion offers 8.6 mh/s (something like that ) from FIbo for $350 as a great example. Plus that's on a USB MODEL.
868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advanced Bitcoin Simulator on: April 02, 2014, 06:57:24 PM
how'd you win?!

Haha yeah for real, everytime I reset the ASIC miner, everything catches on fire. Are you not supposed to restart it? Everything from the Bitcoin forum is being said over and over again, nothing new.
869  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL starts taking pre-orders for 1TH Imperial Monarch Miners on: April 02, 2014, 06:49:37 PM
Not new to BTC, but new to this forum yes  Grin
I can't believe BFL has the audacity to ask for money....
870  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL starts taking pre-orders for 1TH Imperial Monarch Miners on: April 02, 2014, 06:45:16 PM
DELIVER CRAP BEFORE YOU SHOVE MORE CRAP DOWN FOR PREORDERS. Good lord, BFL really pisses me off.
871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's 21million total coin supply hinders it immensely on: April 02, 2014, 06:43:40 PM
I think 21 million is indeed a small amount, but it just makes wealth more concentrated. NUmber of coins not too important. Perhaps 84 million ( 4x supply) would be better, but hey, too late to change. Good thing BTC are divisible!
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NLG] Guldencoin — It's back. Fair distribution. on: April 02, 2014, 06:32:03 PM
Looks like one of the most well designed country-coins. Actually interested in this one. Lets just see Roll Eyes
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New Gridseed Blade Miner 5.2MHash/$3000 on: April 02, 2014, 06:25:42 PM
140w? That's fantastic! Sadly 3k is out of my league :/. Won't breakeven intime before the "real" scrypt asics come out IMO :/
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [FEC] 10% to be mined ____FAUCETCOIN____ 90% for the faucets! on: April 02, 2014, 06:21:27 PM
Looks interesting. Seems like the most "fair" way for everyone is give majority to people, but set some percentage for miners and then they just mine for tx fees. Lets see how faucet coin goes Smiley
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gambits Official Pump Thread (New Profit Coming Soon) on: April 02, 2014, 05:52:34 PM
Haha well yah, I kinda don't want a surprise  Grin
876  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Overview of Signature-Ad Campaigns on: April 02, 2014, 05:38:22 PM
Ritz already paid for 2 months and many believe he is now legit hope as he give 1 more month he trust will rise and more members join his campaign always trust need some time and he is taking his time

Thats what im concerned with. Ritz maybe legit, but I can handle making less passive income from someone reputable. Lets just see I guess  Roll Eyes
877  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is the IRS ruling that bad really? on: April 02, 2014, 05:36:46 PM
It's basically the same tax treatment gold gets. What's the problem?

Gold is not used for everyday transactions. Gold is used on major transactions, if ever so recording a transaction every once in a while is okay. But since BTC gets the same treatment, you have to record every transaction no matter how small (under IRS guidelines) and report capital gains/loss on it. Thats the problem, at least IMO. That and they were really vague, and that for me (personally) it was a bandaid solution. I do hope they revise it quickly!
878  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: April 02, 2014, 05:33:15 PM
Will be using one service for one half of the month (17 days) then will do RGC for the rest of the month. Yes there is a slight advantage to Primedice as 17 days is the majority of a month, which I will adjust accordingly. At the end of the month, I'll decide which service I want to use!
879  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: April 02, 2014, 05:29:22 PM

880  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is it dropping again? on: April 02, 2014, 05:26:53 PM
Hopefully petition goes through and IRS makes much needed amendments on BTC, no bandaid solutions  Grin
