I am trying to be nice to you. If you have any valid points, I am here to read them and answer you. But, I cannot promise I will write you back if you write bullshit. This topic is for discussion.
Don't hesitate to welcome people to your ignore list if they deserve it and there are people who are being Narcissist, so treat them in their way.

Ignoring people without hearing back is too harsh. I want to talk if he has a genuine interest in the discussion. But, If he does not.
Then Bitcointalk has a very good tool. I will utilize it.
I suggested the ignore option only after going through his opinions in this discussion, and he doesn't seem to open his mind for different views.

863  Local / India / Supreme Court Grants Bail To Man Booked For Cryptocurrency Fraud on: July 28, 2023, 09:41:34 AM

A division bench of Justice Surya Kant and Justice Dipankar Datta granted bail in the case registered by Gujarat police in Surat noting that the investigation was complete and the charge-sheet had been filed and the trial may take some time to commence. The Apex Court also took into consideration that he had been in custody since 30.04.2022.

The Court however imposed several bail conditions including the surrender of his passport and restricted him from indulging in the sale or purchase of crypto currency.

“We, however, find merit in the apprehension of the State that the possibility of misuse of concession of bail cannot be ruled out as the petitioner might abscond or start the business of crypto currency again to allure the innocent investors.” The Court stated while imposing stringent bail conditions.

I just wanted to ask that from such kind of instances we can expect regulations for cryptocurrency scams which will be more effective to prevent people from committing such activities.

865  Local / India / Re: Introducing new opportunities to the new users on: July 26, 2023, 12:32:13 PM
To be honest, you're the one who's spamming. You asked for proof, and I shared what I knew. The screenshot showed a clear statement from Bitget, just as you had asked. I also shared an article on the withdrawal limits. What else do you want me to do? I have never even shared ANY kind of referral links so I don't even have any profit here
You can't take a stand based on what you know, it has to be what is the fact and I shared you about their KYC policies which clearly mentioned that they request KYC for every individual and there is no trace of non verified users or about their withdrawal limits which means either you are wrong or the one who gave you the answer from support is wrong.

If you still want to prove that you are right, then go ahead and create an account on your own in the platform you are vouching for and give us a proof.
866  Local / India / Re: Introducing new opportunities to the new users on: July 26, 2023, 08:49:28 AM

But if really there's no KYC requirement, I would want to try that.

AFAIK, Bitget platform has mandatory KYC for every users and surprisingly it is highly invasive than we do on most of the centralized exchanges. So better not deposit any funds their unless you want to provide these details.

this tax % cut automatically from bank account or we need to do something to pay tax, can we keep all of our income without giving tax?

The tax will be deducted for salaried persons from most of the corporate companies but all others has to report on their own even when you don't have to pay any taxes you still can report about your income since everything became online in India.
868  Local / India / Re: what is some indian economics basic terms to understand on: July 21, 2023, 09:31:50 AM
I am a lower middle class indian and i want to know how the people who have more than 10lakh of yearly income manage their income and give tax on that?

i never earned these much money but i want to know how to manage and what is the process of giving income tax and crypto tax.

10 lakhs INR yearly equals to 83,334 INR monthly income which is almost to achieve by business individuals, IT employees even many professionals such as Doctors, Engineers, Pilots, etc.

You can use old both and new tax regime but here I am taking old tax regime to calculate the taxable amount for 10 lakh INR

₹2.5 lakh at 0%: ₹0 (No tax)
₹2.5 lakh (₹5,00,000 - ₹2,50,000) at 5%: ₹12,500
₹5 lakh (₹10,00,000 - ₹5,00,000) at 20%: ₹1,00,000
Total Income Tax: ₹1,12,500

But to get all the tax benefits then it is better to approach the professional such as financial advisors and auditors to get the most economic value.
869  Local / India / Re: how to buy crypto in a wallet with cheapest fee on: July 20, 2023, 06:50:33 PM
so you know how can i buy crypto direct in my wallet for very cheap fee?
without deep kyc.

Only possibility if this idea P2P Trade for Indian board members proposed by @pawanjain becomes viable ever.

As of now there is no way you can swap fiat into BTC directly into your wallet, you need to use the exchange or centralized p2p platform to buy BTC using INR then withdraw it from their wallet (you can't avoid those insane withdrawal fee) to your wallet then send it to the platform wherever you want to deposit and gamble.
870  Local / India / Re: P2P Trade for Indian board members on: July 15, 2023, 04:02:46 PM
I wonder how other local boards are operating P2P trading. Aren't they scared of revealing their identities ?
Maybe its not that big for them if I am not wrong cause some of them are personally knew them apart from bitcointalk so they use that trust level to make trades despite of exposing their personal information.

@Ratimov I think you should review about Huobi Global in the list because user claims that he can't able to get the deposit address until they complete KYC.

The fact now is that you would need to pass KYC for any deposit or withdrawal on their platform.
Are you sure? Because their official ANN states
"Huobi Global will reduce BTC's maximum daily withdrawal limit to 0.06 BTC for users who signed up for a Huobi account but haven’t completed their ID verification, which will take effect at 16:00 on Aug. 8 (UTC). "

Adjustment on Max. Withdrawal Limit for Users without ID Verification

Before creating this thread I did check that platform. I did register and then tried to deposit USDT for which I needed the deposit address. At that time I was told by the platform that I need to pass KYC before any deposit. I feel you might have an account on that platform, go ahead and try to deposit cryptocurrency on Huobi Global.

Do share your experience after trying it. Grin

I am not using that platform because I am sticking with Binance and wazirx because I am okay with KYC as long as there is a limit for providing our ID and picture not any deep information like bank account statement, utility bills, etc.
874  Local / India / Re: P2P Trade for Indian board members on: July 14, 2023, 07:39:15 PM
I personally think that the Indian board should have a P2P thread open in case they have something to trade.
Its better to trade with trusted people than to trade on other P2P channels like Binance P2P.
The chances of getting scammed or account frozen are relatively high on other platforms than on this thread.
Only active Indian board members will be allowed to trade on this thread.

I want you guys' suggestions so that I can convert this thread to a P2P trade channel. Otherwise I will just lock it up if nobody is interested.

The idea is good but the problem will be creating the volume required for trading from the Indian board is not going to be enough. Since it's a known fact that Indian board is not having many active members and even those who are necessarily need to have interest in trading so doing this may not bring any considerable change in my opinion.

You can post a poll and call for members to see how many of them are actually interested in doing p2p via forum will get conclusive answer.

Huobi platform still allows users without KYC apart from the names you mentioned but all the names in the list including Huobi also faced lots of accusations about freezing accounts even when the user tries to withdraw small amount after registration makes the available NO KYC options are not trusted for usage.

Complete list : Current list of exchanges without KYC
877  Local / India / Re: Bisq Market Day - March 20th 2023 on: March 21, 2023, 01:29:58 AM
Still the liquidity seems zero, I tried checking Bisq since LBC closed their platform which I generally use for crypto to fiat trades.

I hope crypto community will understand the importance of decentralized trading platforms and make use of it.
878  Local / India / Re: Sell your Bitcoin for INR or Buy Bitcoin using INR anonymously on localmonero on: February 24, 2023, 09:54:09 AM
I personally yet to try the localmonero but I can say it's a legit p2p website like LBC and operating for a years if I am not wrong so it can be one of the alternate to LBC but while I am checking the trade offers the highest price for selling BTC for INR is 5% less than market price for buying its over 10% than actual BTC price which is huge price difference in my opinion so I didn't find those offers attractive so for now Paxful can be the perfect alternative for LBC unless you care about their KYC system.
879  Local / India / Re: What topic would encourage Indian board Merit source to get activated? on: February 22, 2023, 09:24:42 AM
Really daring question which is mind of many others for a while but now you broke it cause the local board stuck with almost no activity while we are from place where 1.4 billion people is living.

In another thread @HH mentioned he do often visit local board but not much convincing discussions to get merits and its solely depends on his choice so we can't force him to distribute either but as a request he can open a thread and mention what he is looking for in a post and something like that will give idea for others.

Merit should not be the top priority but keeping our local board active should be however I feel less distribution of merit is also a main reason why most people from our country stuck with main boards alone.
880  Local / India / Re: anybody sad that localbitcoins is shutting down? on: February 11, 2023, 02:13:43 PM
Honestly I didn't know about their closure until I saw your thread so thanks for the information.

Since the implementation of strict KYC policy LBC lost most of their users around the world but in India they still have great volume so now the choices are pretty lame which is Paxful and its similar to LBC but do we have any other alternatives apart from Paxful for doing p2p trades to trade with INR?
