861  Economy / Economics / Re: Bans on crypto now looks like a joke on: April 19, 2023, 08:51:55 PM
Well truth be told both china and the US are both great users of crypto-currency regardless of the stand of their government on it, China has the largest amount of miners in the world and has good influence on crypto-currency.

The issue is that it’s hard to ban something that’s it’s decentralized you hardly have any control over it that’s why any ban placed on Crypto-currency usually fails.
862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 19, 2023, 08:03:45 PM
It’s first half now in the game between Manchester City and Bayern Munich and the biggest chance has gone to Manchester city as they got a penalty but did not take good advantage of it.

I don’t see how Bayern would score three goals in the second half and not get any reply goal form Manchester City I don’t think this is possible at all.
863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 18, 2023, 08:56:42 PM
Frank lampard keeps showing what a low level Coach he is, I would have even preferred if Chelsea has waited till they got a replacement before sacking Graham potter.

This hasn’t been the best Real Madrid across the two legs but a poor side Madrid would beat this Chelsea team at any event any day any time.
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are Meme Coins? on: April 16, 2023, 08:44:37 PM
To be very honest many of this history already on this write up about memecoin aren’t Necessary, I don’t want to be a bearer of bad news but the obvious truth is that memecoin won’t get to the status is has once had.

We can all say the Elon musk effect that had Dogecoin hitting all time high after all time high may not be there anymore to keep the memecoin industry relevant infact I believe that the artificial intelligence invasion into crypto-currency space would be more bigger than NFT, memecoins.
865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 16, 2023, 07:45:53 PM
An another weekend Arsenal bottled a two goal early advantage to allow their opponents come back into the game to get a draw. Things aren’t looking well for Arteta’s men as they are now 4 points away from their closest competition Manchester City.

Manchester city still have one game in hand and also would be facing Arsenal in their next fixture but the gunners has fixture before that. It’s getting harder for Arsenal and the pressure would sure be on.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins in the next century on: April 16, 2023, 06:48:19 PM
Bitcoin has influence on many other coin in the cryptocurrency space but this isn’t to say that bitcoin necessarily have to formal rights to put any Altcoin out of existence regardless of the evolution Bitcoin go through.

Also what do you mean by bitcoin becoming a legal tender? Already people are using bitcoin around the world even in countries that has known disgust for crypto-currency. I don’t believe there would ever be a time the whole world would all agree Bitcoin to be a legal tender at the same time even if that happens altcoins like Ethereum with already existing utilities still Stand good chance.
867  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Lazerpay, a crypto and web3 company closing down on: April 15, 2023, 08:52:00 PM
Thanks for this information because I have people that has some of their Funds on lazerpay , but I would want to know how an establishment or entity would want to shut down but won’t give out this information to users in their community.
This is one of the reason I try to avoid Crypto-currency institution that has not gotten good standard, this is not to say I won’t support rising companies but the risk are more.
868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto as "payment" method adaptable for non tech-savvy people? on: April 15, 2023, 08:05:34 PM
Crypto-currency can be used by savvy and non savvy people. But this is to an extent, because not to say the technology is too complicated for anyone.

Regardless of your knowledge or being savvy in technology you can’t function properly without properly doing your own research and properly understanding what crypto-currency is.
869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 15, 2023, 06:58:01 PM
Congratulations Manchester city, the pressure is now mountings on Arsenal, as they would be playing next and they would be required to win the match at all cost.

Now let’s go to Erling Haaland because this season he has been on fire and has now equaled the Mo salah record of 32 goal in 38 games and he has done that with some games to spare.
870  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Pretend hack on: April 15, 2023, 04:30:39 PM
Well I am still doing my research on it, I won’t jump into conclusions saying it’s a botted account influenced hashtag. It’s still unclear to me what the purpose of the hashtag and how it would benefit those who staged it.

Either it be true or false this goes to show anyone that taking information or trends the see serious at first and act on it immediately can be dangerous.
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your take on the "seasons" topic? on: April 14, 2023, 09:19:02 PM
Well the issue here is not the misuse of the season but the fear of missing out that this sort of informations causes in the cryptocurrency industry.

I believe we can be hopeful but speaking about the bull run happening or any season what so ever by just speculations can really cause FUD and FOMO in the cryptocurrency market. Many newbies has lost by follow such speculations.
872  Economy / Economics / Re: Does anyone notice the "investment cost" ? on: April 14, 2023, 07:36:03 PM
Well this is a very shallow thought in my opinion, the first thing to know about investing and investors is the risks that come with it, you can not be successful by trying to avoid them.

Also this doesn’t mean you should be blind folded and then jump at a risk. You can actually read the market and if that’s the case I believe Bitcoin isn’t as risky as other coins, and it’s best to be a long term holder on Bitcoin because the chances of gains are high.
873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 14, 2023, 06:51:24 PM
Although I don’t think the second goal Manchester United conceded wasn’t Harry maguire’s fault but it’s just funny how he would be in the wrong place and then gave away the own goal.

I believe Manchester United has the game on lock and keys and they were definitely running away with the win until they lost concentration, I also think the Manchester United should win the second leg.
874  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to be more useful in this forum on: April 13, 2023, 06:52:52 PM
It’s up to you because we can’t speak on your behalf, so what are those contributions you want to offer the community? You have you outline them see the ones you have repeatedly been trying and analyze it yourself.

It makes no sense repeatedly doing some certain things with out any results, try a better approach which is learning, concern yourself with that for now, then you can contribute what you have learnt.
875  Economy / Economics / Re: using credit card on: April 13, 2023, 06:32:48 PM
First I am very surprised how you feel having a credit card gives you any form of independence and helps you get anything you want? Really they aren’t helping you get anything.

Credit card is a financial slavery if you ask me. Having money to spend at your finger tips that would still be required of you to refund is dangerous and many times can be misused. I have never made use of any card that gives me funds that isn’t already In my account.
876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 12, 2023, 08:19:20 PM
There’s something about Real Madrid and the CL isn’t there. I have to admit that they are by far the biggest club in the world, as I’ve found out to my detriment in recent CL Finals. They’re 1-0 up against Chelsea, Benzema once again. 34 minutes to go though, lots of time left in this tie.

In the other game tonight Milan lead, Napoli too good to be written off though.
I have to agree with you, to be honest no matter how badly Real Madrid may be doing in every other competition like the Laliga when it comes to the champions league the becoming amazing.

It’s just like the champions league is their playground and they have mastered the act, I won’t be surprised if Real Madrid meet Manchester city now in the champions league with the form city is on they still beat them.
877  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Viable Alternative to Fiat Currency on: April 12, 2023, 07:10:50 PM
I don’t see bitcoin or crypto-currency as an alternative to Fiat neither do I see it as an alternative to the traditional financial system. That context in my opinion is very incorrect.

I rather see bitcoin and crypto-currency as an option for individuals who are tried of all the let down the face day in day out from the traditional financial system like the banking hassles, slow transactions, centralization and so many others.
878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 11, 2023, 08:37:03 PM
I had always believed that Manchester city had a better chance qualifying than Bayern Munich, although I agree it would be a tough match.

It did not go as I thought it would and Manchester city are practically walking all over Bayern Munich, this is becoming a very simple game as the are up now by three goals to no goal from Bayern Munich.
879  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Centralized Exchange and Decentralized Exchange on: April 11, 2023, 07:21:04 PM
cex: bad, unsafe, don't use.

dex: kind of good, not completely safe, use with caution.

there.
You are right about the skepticism that is associated with centralized exchanges there has been proven fact that the safety and privacy protection of the users of the centralized exchanges can be compromised.

Decentralized exchange can be cool, great to use infact it my preferred type of exchange but I want to clear something and that’s there is nothing that’s completely safe, you don’t need to drop your Guard , one rule you should follow is never leave your cryptos in an exchange.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High gas fee for sending token is still a problem on: April 09, 2023, 08:50:14 PM
This issues are mostly felt by those that are sending Crypto-currency on the Ethereum network, or want a faster time process for their transactions to be completed.

I have used electrum wallet for years now and the transactions fees for sending Bitcoin has never been a point of concern to me, this is one of the reason I don’t deal in Altcoin and Tokens.
