Marseille were one of the impressive teams of the first week. They were expected to defeat Reims of course but they showed a very solid performance. Even though the statistics tell that these teams had a similar effort the result wasn't like that. Marseille showed their quality and won by 4-1. Nuno Tavares scored in his first match which should be very satisfying for him. Maybe Marseille can help him improve his performance much more and earn his place back at Arsenal who knows.
People who do not watch the games would say that it was an expected result. But, people who did watch the game will say that they played better than expected, even though they were expected to win, they still managed to beat the teams and that's an important thing.

I believe that we shouldn't be shocked to see Marseille being second team this year if they keep it up. They do not have players who are superstar potential people, but they do have players who know their roles very well and playing very well too. What I think will happen is that they will most probably end up with a good result but probably end up not being as good as this game in the long run.
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So we've gone from 1 meme coin to one hundred now ? on: August 08, 2022, 10:00:32 AM
I'd rather avoid investing in meme coins, because I don't think this project has a clear purpose other than just entertainment. It seems that the meme coin only serves as an arena for profit with no reciprocity for buyers.
All of meme tokens are scam. Doge coin was the old coin created by legit developers for the community unlike another meme token in the market that . Meme tokens are only being used by scammers to farm more money from the market. There's no good reason to use meme token as an investment. This is a blatantly scam token created for the scam purpose. People are so dumb to buy meme token.
The sad thing is, people not only fail to realize they are scams, but they think that they are doing something fine. It's your money that they are using in order to make it work, if you didn't bought floki or shiba or whatever, the team wouldn't have any money and they wouldn't be able to look so professional. They defend it like it is legit, but that legit look was made thanks to investors money.

So, if everyone spent that money on bitcoin instead of shiba, then we would have a much more solid background to it, since shiba doesn't mean anything and most of the money was gone to the team and inefficient in that case, makes no sense at all.

Ricciardo had lot of potential when he was in Red Bull and it looked like only matter of time when he will become champion. Until Verstappen didn't appeared. Daniel didn't wanted to be No. 2 driver and made step back by joining Renault. Years in Renault weren't good. Joining Mclaren looked like step forward, but so far his performance there was one big disappointed. It's sad, Daniel is my favourite person on the grid, but now he is more like a great guy, rather than good driver.
It wasn't exactly his fault at red bull neither. He was there with an aggressive driver who didn't like to be second guessed by his teammate, you are number 2 and you have to be like that, and when Verstappen was so young, he acted as the first driver right away which he shouldn't have.

When you are like 17-18 years old, you let Daniel to be the number one for a while and then let Verstappen grow into his shoes. But both Verstappen declined that and wanted to be best right away, and also Red Bull gave him the greenlight to be the number one when he was just a kid who couldn't get a license yet. So all in all Daniel was unlucky there, but rest was a bit of a tough situation.
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 07, 2022, 07:11:25 PM
Statistically Leipzig did win but so far until the 53rd minute the score was still 1-1, indeed if Leipzig continued to put pressure like that it was very likely that the score would finally be won by Leipzig. Also, if I consider from a head to head point of view, Leipzig is a team that really dominates the win and only got a draw once, with such considerations Leipzig have a good chance to win and the odds are very good.
Doesn't matter if you have 100 shots, or 99% possession or anything like that. If you didn't get the three points then you didn't get it. Maybe just a tough day which happens and that's fine, but these are the type of games that you should win because you will need them later on the season, it's okay to lose or draw on the first game, but when you dominate like Leipzig did, and still not win, that's a shame because you won't be dominating every single game like that, hence why it could be a problem.

In any case, it's just first week, we are seeing what the lineups are like and we are going to be seeing a lot more of these teams before we can actually judge them.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most trusted stable coin currently (in your opinion)? on: August 07, 2022, 06:08:22 PM
I am not sure what you meant by trusted stablecoin? The top three on your list are controlled by a centralized exchange. Then how can you gain trust? There have been several articles and discussion in the past that stablecoin can be easily frozen and controlled by those centralized exchanges. For trading and payment purposes they do come handy but not for holding.
Yes, all of them are not 100% safe but we still have to use them, sometimes it is essential for our investment. If you just hold bitcoin and when bear season comes, bitcoin price plummets, your assets will also be severely affected, but if you hold USDT or BUSD during bear season, you will be much more secure.
We shouldn't though, I get that there are way too many places that we use them right now which would make it very difficult for us to stop right now, but decentralized versions are getting closer and closer and they are getting bigger as well.

Meaning that eventually we are going to start looking at things that would make sense to not even ignore or check, and eventually those decentralized versions will be the ones that we are using a lot. This is why I believe that we shouldn't be focusing on USDT or BUSD or USDC anymore, those things are of the past and what is of the past doesn't really suppose to be things that we look at right now anymore for our own future.

By the way the Spa GP is under the threat of being removed from the calendar by next season also. At least there have been some rumours regarding that. To tell the truth I would rather seeing the track being kept in the calendar. Because I believe that it is still one of the very special tracks in F1. There are some other boring tracks already that should be thought of for that first. For example the Monaco GP is one of the most boring races as it is nearly impossible to overtake drivers there.
The amount of money that goes into this sport is just not making any sense right now. I mean they are not making that much back, but they are spending so much. How could we say that Haas could continue to afford this for example, like let's assume Aston Martin puts some money from their factory car profits, but what could Haas do? If teams keep on making a loss then it will continue to be like this. Same goes for tracks, F1 wants a lot of money from tracks, and tracks can't pay that much and make it back, hence why it becomes a trouble.

I know for a fact that it can't be a big deal like this for a long time, we need to find a way to make sure all tracks are free, and we do not get "Saudi Arabia paid a ton, so now all the others have to as well" situation.

Chelsea suddenly chased Cucurella from Brighton in the transfer market this summer, previously Manchester City were also in the hunt for the former Barcelona player. Reportedly, Cucurella has agreed a transfer to Chelsea, with a tag of 55 million pounds + an additional bonus of 7 million pounds.
Cucurella who is able to play at left back and left midfielder will enliven the competition in Chelsea's left sector, because Chelsea already had Marcos Alonso and Ben Chilwell in the same position. The arrival of Cucurella has further strengthened the rumors of Alonso's departure to Barcelona, and he also has no intention of playing again with Chelsea, While Chilwell has just recovered and returned to play, after a long absence due to injury last season.
Chilwell is clearly worried about Cucurella because his position as a main player will be threatened, but who will fill the first squad is up to Tuchel as their coach.
Chelsea looked for anyone to get and they had a lot of players that they wanted to have and this is a hard sports to go from a business person to a sports team owner. The new owner realized that he could spent 50 million dollars to buy a whole company and make a lot of profit, or he could spend it to get just one player he never heard of before.

That's a hard sell to an owner, not easy because it would require a lot of people to convince because why wouldn't he spend that money on buying a whole company instead of just one player. Without that player Chelsea would still be fine, not like they are going to suck or relegate, meaning dude would be out a lot of money for apparently no reason financially for him.
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: August 05, 2022, 09:11:00 PM
New rumours say that Galatasaray are very close to finishing the signing of Mertens currently. He is a qualified player for certain but he is very old (35) at the same time. I know that there is an example like Gomis for Galatasaray. He still performed very nicely last season even though he was 36 years old. If Mertens adapts to the team well he can do the same as well. However I actually hoped for them to bring younger players from now on. Having an experienced striker is good but it isn't a long-term plan.
Galatasaray started the transfer season a bit slow, but now they have become the most ambitious team of the transfer season. Mertens will add a lot to our league with his experience. Last year he scored 11 goals in the Italian League. Turkish Super League is an easier league for him. Therefore, I expect him to score more goals under the Galatasaray shirt. Some players are valuable. Mertens is a valuable football player. He will give the return of his annual salary as performance in the field. I have great expectations from him.
I think Mertens may score about the same amount of goals again and not more. The reason is that Turkish league could be easier for him, but it is not easier to purely score, it is easier to be better in talent considering there is a big difference with lower level teams.

I think it is clear to me that he would be attacked and tackled very very hard, and because of that he will not have any chance to score as much, he will have a higher chance to get injured actually. Thankfully they have seferovic which means that if one of them goes down then the other one will pick up but it is going to be a hard discussion to have when that happens because tactic and formation would change.
869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 05, 2022, 08:38:39 PM
Indeed, their main asset this season is chemistry and experience which I don't think other clubs in La Liga have. As for the changes made by Barcelona, it will really bother them this season. Some of the players that Barcelona recruited were big names with quality, especially up front. But first I want to see how effective the changes that Barcelona have made.
Having great names and great players means that they have no money left and took a big gamble. If it works out and they win the league, and by some chance end up winning UCL as well, not only they will make this money back, but they will probably make some profit out of it.

But of course, I am not expecting them to win UCL, not even expecting them to be in semi finals to be fair. But, could they win the league title? There is a possibility of that and I do agree that it's something that I would love to see, it's something we haven't seen a while and we do not need another domination by another team, we need a league with many title contenders.
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: August 05, 2022, 12:10:21 PM
Some of these people are legitimately making money from streaming without being affiliated with the casino. This business has a little more shady area because some streamers get paid by the casino to play with their money and they don't admit it at the stream, so that people think they're watching a real game but in reality the streamer is acting like it's a big deal and he's betting a lot of money but he can't lose anything. Of course this isn't any different from all those TV ads where they edit the model's face or hair to show they look better after using some cream or shampoo. All ads are lies and twitch streaming is just another form of an ad.
Right, but if you are smart enough, this streamers can make more money by affiliating their face with the casinos. And this is the business model that we have seen very effective. Even though casinos are willing to take sponsors from top athletes, what's more with a casino that has starting his name and wanted to be known. As for the money, we all have been speculated that it's either fake money or it directly comes from their affiliated casinos so that betting max won't be a problem and usually if you have huge bet the returns will be big as well.
I have talked about this for gaming, I will say it for the gambling as well. Watching streamers is not about what they are streaming at all, sure that's a very important part of it if you are there to watch the game or gambling, but most people who are long term do not go there for that. I have seen people who stream while chat was talking about something totally irrelevant.

Because that's the type of familiarity you create with your chat when you are a streamer, you could be playing latest Fifa while they are talking about one of them getting A on math class for all they care, it's just a group of friends that meet for the same streamer whenever he is on air. Gambling streamers are the same, just because you watch it, doesn't mean you watch it for that.
871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Early Adopters rich? on: August 05, 2022, 10:30:14 AM
Likely, if you are here and buy many Bitcoin where the price was just $1k, imagining the price today and you still hold it you are absolutely rich this time. I'm sure someone or a few people had managed to keep their Bitcoins until today and they just let the last ATH pass without selling any as their plan could be long-term. Thus, if you are also able to do it now and hold for at least 5 years, you can think that it might double or triple your money, or even more.
It is difficult to keep coins for so long, when you see that your invested money has doubled several times, then it becomes very difficult to resist selling. Therefore, I think that very few people were able to keep their coins to this day, but of course those who were able to do this became very rich people, this is a reward for patience. Those who buy now and will be able to hold for many years will also get a good profit, maybe not so big, but still it will be a significant profit.
It is reasonable to expect that though. I mean I had a period in my life where I made so much profit that I was able to pay all of my debts that was there for nearly 5 years. Think about it, living with a debt for 5 years and then suddenly getting out of it means something to many people and it did to me as well so I just ended up selling it.

I paid of all my debts and I spent it on other stuff as well and for the first time in my life, I wasn't supposed to be scared of at the end of the month, because I finally had some money. So yeah, I did get in early, I made a ton of money, I sold and I do not regret it because thanks to that sell, I am not debt free. Could have been richer, but that's fine.
872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 04, 2022, 08:56:24 PM
If Messi had moved to England he might not have had so much trophies as compared to his chances of winning it back to back to back in the french league. but he wouldn't have ended a three years deal in England without lifting the trophy once i am too confident of he would have recreated Barcelona in England that is like a sure deal.
I think Messi priority Ligue 1 than Primer League because competitive and difficult from primer league than Ligue 1, he not chance can play consistent if move to Primer League. Have drastically different quality team and atmosphere between Primer League and Ligue 1, there are only PSG always dominance every season on Ligue 1, but if try move to Primer League Lionel Messi will find difficult team and competitive atmosphere on every weeks. I think PSG become last career team for Lionel Messi except he will return to first club in his country and moving to Primer League with his age right now can't give top performance again.
Instead I see there are challenges in the Premier League. I don't think that he would be afraid of his performances going downhill if he joined a Premier League team. It should be news about him who thinks he is only good at Barcelona but not with other teams, it becomes a whip for him to prove himself. But it comes back to him, will he get out of his comfort zone or not.
Messi in City jersey would have been something amazing for him, we are talking about something that is quite good because he is a talented player in the sense that he knows what he is doing with his mind and his foot and his technical skills. Maybe he is not as physically fit as some other players, but when you are as talented as him that doesn't matter.

PSG had not a marvelous season last year, but that's understandable because it was the first season with that team. Now they are going to repeat it and unless something gets hurt, they are going to end up getting much better at this and they are going to end up with a good result in the long run.
873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 04, 2022, 08:23:49 PM
Of course, it would be fun, but you also have to look at the odds that gambling sites offer, because if it was in Munich's favor, I think it would be a loss for many people.
I don't know what surprises all the clubs will give us at the start of this season, but usually, there will be something to cheer us up. and hopefully, it will be a Munich match with Frankfurt.
Yes, that's right, usually a surprise will occur in the first game. Because it can be said that the team is not really ready or in other words they are still looking for the kind of game they want. But of course it depends on Frankfurt, because here they are expected to give a surprise. Because when it comes to Bayern Munich everyone already knows what they are like.
The surprise in the first game works for the worse team as well. I mean think about it, maybe the good teams would not be ready just yet, but they have already played a few friendlies at the very least, probably more. Bayern already showed the world that they are not amazing on defense, but they are pretty awesome when it comes to offense. So, a team with counter attack tactic could still end up shocking the world.

But, also it means that smaller club didn't play too many games neither, none competitive for sure, and that will result with them not being ready either. This could help Bayern get a better result than expected if they hold it together for a while.

So far monthly burns give imho no impact. Like the price was 3 cents during good times, it stays the same all the time. Bitcoin price change is the only thing that impacts on the price. I dont even think that burns really helped. I might even consider not doing burns, but keep more mineable tokens. Imho, adding more usability to token, or perks for holder (more you hold, better bonus you get) will be a better solution. And by perks I mean not distributing more staking rewards, something else.
Burns do not give a good impact because they were not in the market to begin with, that is what I am trying to tell people. What it means is that bnb burns do not matter neither, but sometimes the price still goes up during these times. Well, because people buy due to the fact that there was a burn, and since they believe there was a burn they buy more since there is less coins available.

Same here, it shouldn't really impact a lot because it wasn't on the market anyway, so what it does is burning coins that weren't in there to begin with. What we believe however is that if there were "buyback" type of stuff, then it would actually make a lot of profit for everyone.
875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 03, 2022, 09:22:31 PM
I would support a move for Jamie Vardy to Chelsea truthfully. Because he is still a very good striker for the Premier League and big teams at the same time. Chelsea are in a big need of signing a striker at the moment. They would make use of a very experienced striker like Vardy in the starting eleven. Leicester are already aware that they can't hold him at the team while there is a candidate like Chelsea. By the way I presume that Chelsea would like to have him for this season only but maybe they would change their mind after seeing his performance.
I wouldn't. Not because he wouldn't fit there, he is a great striker for sure and he has done so much in the premier league that it would be a great addition and he would get paid a lot as well so I do understand all of it.

This is why I believe that the best thing he could do right now would be staying in Leicester. Dude didn't leave the team even after they won the championship, he has an amazing story to tell and he could have been the guy who plays for city or united or Liverpool whatever and gain a ton of endorsements and play in many tv commercials, all thanks to his amazing skills and story. But he didn't, and it would be shame if he starts now.
876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 03, 2022, 08:56:23 PM
Messi never come to Paris for his family or any other issue this was good offer from PSG, and he was having some issues in Barcelona, so there were on two choices one PSG and second Manchester City, so he has some good incentives from here he joins this club and now as Barcelona is having some good time now they are feeling they want Messi back in their team which is possible in 2023 because we already read Barcelona President announces they will give farewell to this legendary player mean now things are going to be normal, so they want him back in their team for one or two seasons which will give them better exposure if they have their desired results in this current season after investing good money in transfers and having few quality players from different teams.

Even nothing is sure how things could be after this season but most chances if he has no good result at PSG then surely he is going back to Barcelona for his final session in this soccer.
I second that Messi was forced to leave Barcelona and it wasn’t his choice to leave, and Manchester City had already spent $100 million on Grealish hence his only option was PSG. Furthermore Messi will have an option to stay for 2023 season at PSG, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back to Barcelona at a lower salary because we all know how much he loves Barcelona.
I think City deal was never a real deal, not because of Grealish because that was 100 million spent on the transfer, not on the player and Messi came in free, just took a salary and they could have paid him and then sold 2x more than that just on jerseys, probably more. This is why I believe that it should be PSG and he should stay until he retires, and I think if they keep on winning just the league, dude may get bored of it and retire earlier than he should.

This is a hard situation to be in, be with a team for over 20 years and then suddenly you are like a fish out of water when you move to another team specially at that age. Hence I think he will probably not change it again so soon.
877  Economy / Economics / Re: A Secret to financial breakthrough on: August 03, 2022, 08:31:51 PM
Blaming factors or conditions for being poor won't change anything or make someone to become rich, no need for blame. Normally in life thier are cause for every setback,  what matters most is to work harder and not to remain in the same level,  let the challenges,  hard times be a reason on how to think to do better. Nothing good comes easily , for one to make money in life it requires hard work.
It may or may not be a way to get rich, because blaming that you grew up poor and you never had anything will not make you rich at all. But, it is surely something that would make it harder for you, so it is an understandable deal. Plus, everyone is focusing on making sure that they are super rich, but nobody really focuses on making sure that you have a passive income "just" enough and you live without any trouble.

I wouldn't want a million dollars, I mean I would but I am aware of how hard is that, so I would settle for 1k dollars per month all my life instead, if I can get that then it would be a lot better for me and that is not something easy neither, but easier than finding 1 million suddenly.
878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 02, 2022, 08:19:38 PM
Not only Dortmund, Leipzig and Leverkusen are good enough clubs. Despite the lack of star players in the squad, their performance is good enough. They are capable of performing well even against the mighty Bayern Munich. If these teams had spent money on strengthening themselves and adding the necessary talent to the squad, Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga would have been greatly reduced.
At the moment, their destiny is only the fight for second place, which is already quite good considering that even 4th place gives a ticket to the Champions League. In fact, Bayern does not prevent them from earning money or titles in any way (in European competition, everyone has a chance, as Eintracht showed).
And that is not too bad. Being second in Germany is something most teams try to do, and only a few could achieve. Look at Lyon, they had something like 9 in a row league titles and then they ended up being this bad, doesn't mean that it will continue to be like this, it will of course change but meanwhile we are talking about a team who fails to get there. That is in France of course but many teams here do not look at it like "we should beat Bayern" anymore, all they want is the second and if they get it then they are happy about it.

This is why I believe that we shouldn't be concerned about this current fact, it wouldn't matter to them and shouldn't to us.

Is it safe to use a VPN?
because many VPN user sites are strictly banned it will cause problems maybe in the future, or the funds could be frozen due to violations, is there no other solution, other than using a VPN sir?
It's not safe to use VPN, when you are accessing the site through 3rd party service to bypass the block is too risky for me. An alternative solution to change your DNS. Mirror site can be a solution but changing DNS may become a better choice as it will not fake your location and you may not face the risk to be identified as a suspicious users or being asked to provide more information about your identity. I rarely used VPN. It's too risky for me.
But doesn't DNS also change your browser location in some way? That'll still be trying to circumvent restrictions in some way if it ever is imposed on your country.
VPN basically means where you are going into the website changes, but it changes for your IPS as well which doesn't see it, it puts a block there too. I mean this is the good ones of course, the bad ones would be cracked in a second, but if your nation blocks a website, using VPN means you could go in there, and if the website blocks you, you could go in there all the same.

Maybe getting to another website would be fine because you wouldn't be doing something too illegal, but there are people who come from nations that have online gambling illegal, and then they still gamble here, so it is not only illegal to break in the contract and reach the website, it is double illegal to gamble here as well.
880  Other / Archival / Re: Most crypto-friendly economies in the world on: August 02, 2022, 10:54:31 AM
The source has zero to low data in Latin America, Africa, many parts of eastern Europe, and most of Asia though. So it's more like a ranking of the most crypto-friendly countries in the west and some few countries on other continents. And who will miss El Salvador and the Central African Republic? These two countries would probably top in a world ranking considering both countries already recognized bitcoin as a currency.
That is mainly because they do not think those nations to be big enough to be even mentioned. Source is giving out names that would be big names, if you look at it then you will realize that there is no El Salvador, the one nation that made bitcoin a legal tender and you think that doesn't make it crypto-friendly? Of course, it does but they left them out. Which shows you that the list is wrong from the start, just even with that fact.

But, if we are talking about something bigger than it means that we will not be making any kind of decisions based on anything on this source anyway, it will not be like "oh let’s take a look at this list and move there because it's crypto friendly".
