861  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Not Another Merit Question. Please Hear Me Out on: June 29, 2023, 02:39:05 PM
In this forum, it is almost considered taboo for newcomers to discuss merits. The typical response received is often critical. Some individuals attempt to convey their message politely by advising new members not to focus on merits, but rather to concentrate on creating high-quality posts without making merits their primary goal. Personally, I have doubts about this perspective. In order to progress on this forum, one must actively pursue growth and development. Being intentional entails setting goals.
Perspectives like that indeed often make doubts, because the question always arises, is it really like that? But what I have felt while joining this forum, whether it's pursuing merit or just focusing on making quality posts, actually the two aspects have no difference at all. Because for example like this, when a member of this forum, for example, wants to pursue quite a lot of merit, it is certain that the member must be able to make very high-quality posts to get merit, and for example there are also members of this forum who only focus on making quality posts, but in the end it is also likely to get merit. So in my personal opinion, there is nothing wrong with these two understandings, because the two understandings have the same end result.
But what's different is just how to take the path, there are those who take the path to focus on getting merit, and there are also those who take the path to focus on making quality posts.
862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins and it's potential on: June 29, 2023, 02:19:24 PM
As long as bitcoin is present in this universe, if you look at it from a financial point of view, quite a lot of people have been helped financially. Especially for bitcoin investors who buy bitcoin when the price is really low.
But from what I know so far, even though bitcoin really has made a lot of investors get quite a lot of profit. But if it's for the problem of helping the economy on a global scale or in a world economy, in my opinion, bitcoin still doesn't have much influence or help quite a lot. That's all because bitcoin users in the world are still a very minority of the total human population, and that's why bitcoin is still unable to help significantly for the progress of the world economy.

But even so, I'm always optimistic about bitcoin, because currently bitcoin is still said to be in the process of moving towards that goal and I'm sure that in the future bitcoin will definitely be more able to help the economy on a global scale. Most importantly, current bitcoin investors must be able to support and always make bitcoin viewed positively by all people in the world.
863  Economy / Economics / Re: What could Elon Musk be buying next? on: June 29, 2023, 12:20:28 PM
My question is, what big purchase could we see Elon Musk likely make this year?
If you ask like that, I definitely don't know what Elon Musk will buy this year, because it's a personal matter of his life. But in my opinion, with the many projects currently being run by Elon Musk, it will definitely make Elon Musk very busy. So I think Elon Musk will definitely focus first on the project he has right now. Because all of these projects, not small projects, but very large projects. So it is certain that when referring to material problems, Elon Musk will definitely use a lot of money. Because even though Elon Musk is a really rich person, I'm sure the project will definitely spend a very large amount of funds and quite drain Elon's wallet.

Even in the news that I read, Elon commented
Quote
Musk predicts that the world economy will be in a serious recession by 2023 and the demand for bulky goods will fall dramatically.
Quote
I'm not going to sell shares until I don't know, maybe two years from now," he said.
Source: https://www.google.com/amp/s/aceh.tribunnews.com/amp/2022/12/23/elon-musk-perkirakan-perekonomian-2023-akan-mengalami-resesi-serius-saham-tesla-not-for-sale

So with these comments, I don't think Elon Musk will buy anything this year, because Elon has predicted that there will be a recession this year and this will definitely make Elon Musk have a bit of brakes.
864  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase profit in business on: June 28, 2023, 07:52:52 AM
Please feel free to drop your own ideas on how to increase profit in businesses.
In my personal opinion, to increase or maximize profits in doing business, there are several factors that must be done.
The first is that you must always have innovations that are not thought of by others (business competitors). With that, I'm sure, any business will always be eyed by customers, because usually customers like shops or shopping areas that have different services or facilities from other stores or shopping centers.
The second is, always make customers comfortable when visiting your store, because every customer always wants to shop or buy something in peace and comfort.

The third is, making a rule for customers, for example like this "every customer who has come to this store three times, will get a free gift or shopping discount. By doing this, I'm sure customers will always go to that store to shop, because there is a feeling of wanting to get a discount or gift that will be given by the store. And the last thing that cannot be missed, namely the parking lot must have a fairly large area. Because in real life, I often don't visit a shop or shopping center , just because the parking area is narrow, therefore a large parking area also greatly affects the progress of a business, especially in the buying and selling aspect.
865  Economy / Economics / Re: After Making Money In Bitcoin, How is Black Tax Affecting You Economically? on: June 28, 2023, 04:49:38 AM
~Snip
Talking about black taxes, maybe everyone will have different views. Because nature and habits will definitely affect this. Starting from a generous person to a stingy person, surely the way of looking at this black tax will be different.

But personally, after I entered the bitcoin space, and I have been earning from this bitcoin field, I also like to give money to the people around me (parents and siblings).
But because I am married and have a family. So what I prioritize first, is definitely my family. Meanwhile, like my father, mother and younger siblings, I still like to give them money. Especially for my parents, every month I routinely give them money, and more or less it depends on my income in this bitcoin/crypto world. Because if we don't do that, keep in mind that we can grow up because of our parents, sometimes there are problems we can't handle, we complain to our parents, so it's only natural that we, as children, must be able to help them financially, whether it's a little or Lots.

And for my close relatives, such as aunts, uncles or nephews, I also sometimes give them a little money. But not as often as my parents and my younger sibling who are still at school. And keep in mind too, parents or siblings, it is the closest person who can be asked for help when there is a need. So it's only natural for fellow relatives to be able to help and support each other when one of these relatives is experiencing difficulties. So regarding this black tax, I like to run it and don't mind.
866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Force Your Children to Learn Bitcoin on: June 28, 2023, 02:58:28 AM
Teaching children on bitcoin is like the latest threads in the forum. It is good to tell our children about bitcoin in their tender ages but destiny is not something you force someone to achieve. Just like the general saying that "You can take a horse to the river but you cannot force it to drink the water". That's, it is good to tell your children about bitcoin but you cannot force him or her to learn bitcoin if it is not in the mind of the child and if that is not the child's calling in life.
You are right, because at a young age, as a parent, you really have to teach any knowledge that is positive to your children. Including providing a good understanding and teaching about bitcoin. Because even though it's true, we don't know what our children will choose in the future, but at least these children know that bitcoin is indeed a quality asset. And so that our children know, that his father is a bitcoin investor.
Quote
So if your children are not interested to learn bitcoin please don't force them.
Indeed, don't force it, because if children are forced by their parents, into fields that are not liked by the child, usually the ends end badly. Whether it's in terms of success or in terms of comfort, surely the child doesn't feel free and isn't passionate when running it. So any form of coercion given to a child, I feel, will have a bad impact on the child. Even though what the parents are forcing their children to do is bitcoin assets, it will definitely not be good. So in essence, be a parent who always educates their children, but don't force what the child doesn't want (especially in terms of getting finances). Because the steps taken by everyone will be different, and that includes our own children.
867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Knowledgeable before Bitcoin investment is very Good on: June 28, 2023, 02:27:46 AM
I came across a post made on this forum by someone that says he has $20k for investment as such he was looking for people to advice him on how to go about it, for me it was actually a bad idea consorting everyone for investment advice because you could be lured by scammers to invest on a shitcoin as such loosing all your money
Doing so is indeed very inappropriate, especially for investors who have absolutely zero knowledge about bitcoin/crypto investment. Because as you said, it could be that the person who was asked for the help, instead of helping but wanting to cheat. So that's probably the downside of it. But on the other hand, not everyone who is asked to help teach them about crypto investing is a scammer. Because of course there are also many good people who want to teach and want to guide someone to be able to invest in bitcoin/crypto. So asking for advice from someone who is an expert to invest in bitcoin/crypto, is definitely risky. But in my opinion, it cannot be leveled that this is bad.
Because it all depends on who to ask for advice.
Quote
because of lack of knowledge about Bitcoin or any investment in general, as someone that has no idea on investment I think the first thing was research google to learn more and also the risk involves.
It would be nice to be like that, because learning about bitcoin/crypto if done independently will definitely be better and more memorable. But learning about bitcoin/crypto on Google, you still have to be careful, because there will always be bad and even deceptive information. Therefore, the knowledge or information obtained from Google must be filtered before being applied directly to bitcoin investment.
868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best career for women on: June 27, 2023, 07:22:24 AM
~Snip
Investing or trading in bitcoin can indeed be done by anyone, including women too. Because bitcoin is an asset, so of course anyone can buy it.

But if you say bitcoin is a vehicle for a career, it feels very wrong. Because bitcoin is a decentralized digital asset, which is used as an investment asset by many people and there are even countries that have made it a means of payment. So you have to be able to distinguish, what is a career and what is an investment, so that you are not mistaken with the arguments you wrote in this post. Because if you understand these differences, maybe the topic you created will definitely be better. Because it's true that if women invest or trade in bitcoin, it's definitely going to be good too. Because the majority of women in the world too, mostly stay at home and take care of their household. So maybe it would be very suitable to make bitcoin as an investment or trade on the sidelines of their household chores (for married women).
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Buys Bitcoin When The Price is 100k$? on: June 27, 2023, 06:40:14 AM
Buying bitcoin when the price is rising, this behavior is not really recommended for investors, because when that happens, there will definitely be a lot of bitcoin investors selling the assets they have, and automatically the price of bitcoin will definitely decrease. Even though bitcoin has great potential in terms of price increases, if you buy it at the highest price, the consequences will still be big. So in essence you still have to prioritize analysis and don't buy too quickly just because the price of bitcoin is going up big. However, if this has happened, the only way is to continue to maintain the bitcoin assets that are owned and wait until the bitcoin price reaches the desired price.
Quote
Will the price pass 100k$ next year 2024 for buys to make their gain?
according to my prediction, next year bitcoin will experience a fairly large price increase, because the halving will start next year. But if it is to arrive at a price of $ 100k, in my opinion it will not be reached next year, but most likely in early 2025 this price will be reached or at least close to the $ 100k price. Because as far as I know, when a bitcoin halving occurs, there will usually be a period of time until bitcoin actually reaches its highest price.
870  Economy / Economics / Re: Has everyone become too pesimistic about the economy? on: June 26, 2023, 04:48:19 PM
Indeed, if you think about it, it seems that many people are too pessimistic about the current economic situation and what will happen in the future. It all happened, maybe because of the many incidents that have occurred in the past years, and maybe it was with these incidents that many people had pessimistic thoughts about the state of the economy.
These incidents have indeed had a negative impact on the state of the world economy. But what I feel is that the world economy is currently recovering and will return to a normal state.

Because I can distinguish my economic situation some time ago and my current economic situation. What I feel is that everything almost feels normal again, but not completely. I see that my neighbors have the same economic situation, and in my country it seems that the economic situation in almost all fields seems to be heading in a stable direction. With all of these things in place, I don't feel pessimistic about the future or current economic situation. Because I'm sure, currently the world's economy is trying to recover.

Likewise with the bitcoin/crypto realm, I am very optimistic that in the future, it will definitely be more open and increasingly in demand by many people. Even though there are currently a number of cases that have happened, I am sure that all these cases will pass and bitcoin will reach high prices, and other cryptos (altcoins) will continue to run.
871  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help and encourage newbies to grow. on: June 26, 2023, 04:06:14 PM

I totally agree with your understanding. The beginners in this forum, that I see, are mostly too scared or very stiff when replying to a post. Even though this forum is a place for discussions, related to crypto (the majority), so there is no need to be too stiff or afraid to express your thoughts and join in the discussion. The most important thing is it doesn't violate the rules in the forum, the post doesn't go off topic (if replying to a post), and it doesn't make spam posts. In my opinion, this is the main point, because if you haven't been able to make a quality post, don't make it an obstacle or become afraid and insecure. Because the most important thing is just follow the rules in this forum and study crypto science diligently.
By doing this I am sure and have proven it, that sooner or later in the future you will definitely be able to make posts that will be more useful and of higher quality in this forum.

So for beginners on this BTT forum, keep up the good work and don't give up. Because when you first join this forum, you will definitely feel very confused and always get a lot of criticism, because I have experienced all of that too. But with the criticism, this forum is getting better and can have a lot of great users. So don't feel too pressured, because if you have a better understanding of the contents of this forum and your knowledge about bitcoin/crypto has increased, you will definitely feel more comfortable and there will be no pressure.
872  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: "How best do I secure my investment on bitcoin as a newbie" on: June 26, 2023, 03:00:54 PM
Hi guys,
I'm super excited to finally be a part of this family of great minds in the crypto world.
As a newbie in the crypto community  I've heard people talk about how great they have lost their resources on several crypto platform, so I've resolved to ask:

How best do I secure my investment on bitcoin as a newbie?
Welcome to this forum guys.

When talking about the security of bitcoin assets, it is certain that what will be discussed is a wallet that can be used to store bitcoins safely. You should know, if you want to store your assets safely, the answer is definitely to store them in a personal wallet. Because if for example you put it in a market, the worst possibility is that the market is cheating or going bankrupt. Automatically the assets that you have in the market will most likely be lost.

So what you have to do to be able to properly secure your bitcoin assets is, look for a crypto wallet that you can control yourself, namely a non-custodial wallet. This non-custodial wallet is the most recommended wallet, especially for bitcoin/crypto investors who want to hold onto their assets, be it for the long term or short term. But you also have to look for the best non-custodial wallets, one of which is metamask, trustwallet, or electrum.

Quote
indeed so many people jump into the crypto with little or zero knowledge of bitcoin and it's security and intending risk, so pls i will really appreciate a response from professionals in the house
Plunging into a field but having no insight into that field, in my opinion, is a very inappropriate decision, and that also includes the world of investment or crypto trading. That's why many beginners in bitcoin / crypto experience losses. All of that because there is no foundation or knowledge that they have mastered about crypto, but they have the courage to dive into it. So basically, first learn about this crypto field, if you feel you already have enough knowledge, then start investing in bitcoin or other crypto.
873  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Teacher and Classmates Labeling Bitcoin as a Ponzi Scheme or a Scam on: June 26, 2023, 02:24:45 PM
Recently, he expressed his frustration about his teacher and classmates labeling bitcoin as a ponzi scheme or a scam each time he talks about it. I'm seeking a variety of advice that I can offer to my nephew in this situation. Although his father suggested that he should stop discussing bitcoin, I don't feel comfortable with that approach. What are your thoughts on this matter?
It is undeniable that currently there are still many people who consider bitcoin as a Ponzi scheme, or as a deceptive asset. Even though all of these assumptions, are really wrong opinions. Because ponzi schemes are the complete opposite of what is applied to the bitcoin system, so people who call bitcoin a ponji scheme really appear to be that these people only value bitcoin from their dislike of bitcoin, and maybe from the news who vilify bitcoin. So these people call bitcoin as a ponzi scheme or as a fraudulent asset, just because of this factor, and it seems that these people have never even studied bitcoin, so bad opinions arise about bitcoin.

So in essence, don't take or respond too seriously, about bitcoin opinions that come out of the mouths of people like that. Because these people are just talking nonsense and have no clear evidence or experience about the opinions they issue. And in conclusion (to your cousin), stop talking about bitcoin with his schoolmates or teacher. Because talking about bitcoin with people like that will only make your mind heat up and make you want to get angry. Because maybe their thoughts about bitcoin, are not on the same frequency as your thoughts.
874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold Bitcoin VS Hold Gold on: June 25, 2023, 08:06:36 AM
~Snip
As you wrote at length in your post, that bitcoin is superior to gold when viewed from all existing aspects. I agree with this opinion, because bitcoin is very relevant when used as an investment asset today. Because if you look at it from a potential perspective, bitcoin can indeed go far in terms of market prices, and gold's price increase is very slow every year. But in my personal opinion, at this time gold is still very relevant if used as an investment asset, because it has many benefits in our lives today. Such as making jewelry, used for materials for making cellphones, computers, and other electronic devices. So in my personal opinion, gold is still an asset that is still relevant to own.

And when it comes to the potential price increase, it is certain that bitcoin is the one that can be said to have the highest price increase. It's different from gold, whose price increase is not too fast. So when it comes to potential uses and potential price increases, bitcoin and gold excel in only one respect. Bitcoin excels in terms of price increase potential, and gold excels in terms of potential use. So basically these two assets are equally good and both have their own features.
875  Other / Politics & Society / Re: the point of having high IQ? on: June 24, 2023, 04:50:48 AM
it is also believed that high IQ get you more score in a test in school.
All of these things can indeed be said to be true, because the field you write about refers to brain intelligence. And while people who have a high IQ, very intelligent thinking. So it is certain that in the world of education people who have a high IQ are always at the forefront.
Quote
let me assume, when there is only 100 apple in the town, high IQ person would more likely get more of the apple, yup, high IQ help you get more apple from finited source of apple. thus make you a better breadwinner, high IQ make a better breadwinner than low IQ person.
It will definitely be very helpful

Because humans have a high IQ, I think that is a privilege given to certain people, and having a high IQ will definitely make it easier for someone to solve a problem or just like making a living. Because I believe people who have a high IQ tend to be more dominant and superior in terms of the world of work. But I also don't think that people who have a standard IQ are not superior, but usually people who think smart or have genius minds usually tend to always be someone who is more influential. Because most people who have a high IQ certainly have thoughts that are beyond the thinking of ordinary people, therefore even in the world of work people who have a high IQ are always placed in fairly high positions.
876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is next for Bitcoin? Seems like the only winners are early adopters unless on: June 24, 2023, 04:27:38 AM
I so missed out on this when it was $110 a coin but I was young and no money.
Don't regret too much about the situation that has happened, because even now you are still given the opportunity to be able to buy bitcoins. It's never too late, to invest in bitcoin, because bitcoin still has much greater potential in the future. Don't think investing in bitcoin now is too late, because if you still think like that, I'm sure you will repeat the same mistake and regret it a second time. So use the opportunity that you have now as fully as possible to buy bitcoin, if you are really interested in investing in it.
Quote
How can i understand Bitcoin more ? I mean it has no use for it yet, it is not producing profits for companies ?
You can make a conclusion like that, have you really studied Bitcoin as a whole? Because calling bitcoin is pointless, it is a very wrong opinion. Even though you or what you call a company, have never produced something from bitcoin, maybe because you are still new to this bitcoin industry. Because if you study bitcoin in more detail, you will definitely find a very broad benefit from the existence of these bitcoins.
Quote
I want to invest good capital but dont understand why I would do this on something made out of thin air. Sometimes seems like its a lot of fanboys just wanting it to go up and up so they can then sell to retail
Maybe at this time your mind is still not wide open about the existence of this bitcoin asset, because the proof is that you still have quite big doubts about it. I also can't fully convince you about this bitcoin, because if you think you are still closed, it will be difficult to give positive insights about bitcoin. And in essence, just study first, and feel after that, are you sure or do you still have the same thoughts.
877  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How did you start your posting life as a newbie??? only for full mem, Sr and leg on: June 23, 2023, 10:25:42 AM
please on behalf of all the newbies we like you to recommend to us how you did the magic on your post count and also merit court and how to do things on the forum and also on how you  share your time table for the forum
This forum contains discussions about bitcoin and other crypto worlds. So basically having this knowledge is definitely necessary if you want to seriously participate in this forum. Even though you are still a beginner in this forum, your participation will definitely be highly appreciated if you have very good ideas, ideas and knowledge about crypto. Because these points are the basic points to make it easier for you to make a post and to get a merit, if your post is really interesting and useful. So if you still feel confused about posting or about how to get a lot of merit. In essence, you just have to be someone with character and have out the box or unique thoughts about your posts. Then you also have to really enjoy living it, don't make all the activities you do in this forum a burden. Because if you think like that, it will definitely be difficult for you to develop, because you still don't enjoy what you do in this forum.

Regarding the right time to open this forum, it depends on when you have free time. Because there will always be other activities, so use the time you have to open this forum.

And in conclusion, if you want to develop more in this forum, you have to be more able to enjoy and be sincere in making posts or replying to other people's posts, don't be too hasty and just enjoy the flow.
878  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen to the bitcoin rate if the global economy collapses in 2023? on: June 23, 2023, 02:45:26 AM
Recently, there has been a lot of news on the topic - the collapse of the global economy in 2023. According to some forecasts, this will happen in the summer.
What do you think will happen to bitcoin in this case?
This economic problem is still in the context of predictions, so I don't fully believe in these predictions. But if all of that really happened, it is certain that bitcoin will also be affected. Because if for example it is true that the global economy will collapse this year, it is certain that from all aspects of life it will be quite heavy, especially for people with a middle to lower economy. Likewise with bitcoin investors, if these investors do not have reserve money to finance their lives, selling bitcoins will definitely be the best choice, and that is why if the global economy collapses, the price of bitcoin will also be affected.

But the impact may not be large all at once, because it all depends on how severe the economic situation is and how long it lasts. Because if you look at previous economic events, bitcoin has always managed to get out of the economic problems that hit the world. That's all certain because bitcoin investors are still holding their assets not to be sold. That means these investors still have a spare cost for their lives. So in essence bitcoin will definitely be impacted, when the global economy actually collapses. But "with a very, very bad economic situation". Because if only in conditions of ordinary economic collapse, I think the impact that has had on the price of bitcoin, doesn't really have a big impact.
879  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - what are we expecting for the rest of 2023? on: June 23, 2023, 02:00:22 AM
What is everyone expecting for the rest of 2023 with Bitcoin?
Everyone must have different desires related to bitcoin this year, because this year is a very decisive year for investors. Because this year, there are two camps that will have different desires. The first camp definitely wants the price of bitcoin to rise, because maybe the investor is a short-term bitcoin investor, and maybe that person has no intention of adding bitcoin assets, so their main goal is to sell their assets. While the second camp, definitely wants the price of bitcoin to fall this year, because so they can buy bitcoin, to add assets and prepare for the upcoming bitcoin halving. I think that's what this year is going to be like with bitcoin investors.
Quote
A lot of good news lately with Bitcoin up 24% in a week but will it last?

How high can we go before 2024? $40k? $50k?
Maybe in the next few weeks the increase in bitcoin prices will continue, because if you look at the state of the bitcoin market, it looks very likely that it will continue to rise, for the next few weeks. but for this year I think the price of bitcoin will decrease first. And the bitcoin price for this year according to my analysis will not pass the price of $ 40k.
880  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Investors Confidence in Bitcoin💪 on: June 23, 2023, 01:35:20 AM
Hello everyone

In 2018, when I heard about Bitcoin from an elder brother in the area, I became addicted to Bitcoin. Since then, I started learning about Bitcoin from that elder brother and got the opportunity to learn more details from the forum by logging into Bitcoitalk with his ID.  .
Your interest in bitcoin is indeed very good, because you have chosen one of the most appropriate investment assets. But my question is, why are you using your older brother's bitcointalk account ID. Even though you can also immediately create your own BTT account, if you don't know how, ask the older sister to teach you to create your own personal BTT account. Because in my opinion, doing this doesn't violate any rules, as long as those who have the account don't mind it. But still, it doesn't feel right to do so. Because you are using someone else's identity in this forum.
Quote
And in view of this in 2020 I invest some of my savings in Bitcoin.
From teaching, when Bitcoin broke past record highs at the end of 2021, I had the opportunity to make a good profit from my invested Bitcoins, but my strong belief in Bitcoins prevented me from selling Bitcoins, after which the price of Bitcoins began to decline.  Then different people tried to discourage me in different ways but it is from this forum that predictions about Bitcoin and my confidence in Bitcoin still make me come.
Problem selling your bitcoin assets, it's your own decision to sell or keep defending. But I will give you one piece of advice, that in the world of crypto investment, especially bitcoin. Do not be too greedy, and excessive when taking advantage. Because even though bitcoin is proven to have the best price quality among other cryptocurrencies, still, you must always remember the worst possibility. So the point is don't waste it, the opportunity that has come to you.
Quote
Hopefully during the Bitcoin Halving of 2024, Bitcoin will break all previous records and reach a peak price.

What is your opinion on this?
Hopefully it will all happen, because all bitcoin investors will always expect the upcoming halving which is expected to be next year, can exceed the bitcoin halving that occurred in the previous cycle.
