861  Economy / Economics / Re: Future without Middle men big way, but big Question? on: December 03, 2019, 05:17:47 PM

3rd party can still be used as middle man probably like an App somehow its been used by merchants to escrow funds. It had to be there since we all know that when BTC is sent you can not file a dispute here unlike paypal where merchants can be scammed. But still escrows can still be taken out if both parties trusts each other.
862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Enforcing government regulations on: December 02, 2019, 07:33:54 PM

The nature of BTC still is decentralize, it hasn't changed but then we are now regulated because of the illegal use of cryptocurrencies. You can't expect the government no to intervene because if its not going to be controlled, more will probably scammed. We saw these happened when in 2017 and were just jumping out after the bullrun.

P2P still offers decentralization and some coins are pretty much unregulated still. If you are onto that, you should move on into those privacy coins.
863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Survey: At What Price would you stop investing more money into Bitcoin ??? on: December 02, 2019, 06:03:51 PM
I have already stop investing but still wanting to earn BTC though. I've chat to few people in telegram and they were saying about quantum computers which BTC is at risk which made them decide to not buy more of it, those who spread fud about this quantum seem to have influenced them. One of them said he will only invest more money into BTC if the algo will be altered to quantum computer resistant. You can say that price isn't what they are after when they invest in BTC.
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Just a thought about bounties and bounty managers on: December 02, 2019, 05:38:01 PM
I heard that what most bounty managers do is to conduct the bounty project and later submit to projects teams for distribution, is this not why some projects never paid bounty hunters?

+The job of a bounty manager should be the guide standing between bounty hunters and project teams
+ Bounty managers should be the ones to hold on to the project tokens and distribute after bounty ends

Avoid these and teams might decide not to pay or send out half payments to half of the hunters, it should be more like how IEO is where exchange stands between investors and team

It was already done in the past but the project turned out to be a scam, while the tokens are worthless after it. I wasn't even added to the exchange so the cycle of all these scams are still going on up to this day.

Bounty hunters will start to trust when there is someone who will serve as escrow but then tokens are still going to be worthless when its not on the exchange. This is why its best for them to just pay BTC or ETH.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The only one way to always get your tokens after bounty ends on: December 01, 2019, 04:55:54 PM

I have participated to bounty campaigns that didn't pay me, they just promise to pay without dates. I'm not sure if they really will pay but I'm hoping they will since are already trading their tokens, I figure they may have to hold the distribution for now since if they do, all will be dumping and might kill the project that haven't even jumped yet.

I have looked into some that really have no intention of paying so we'll see when a scam accusation will be posted by users. The sad part is that bounty campaigns are not regulated so its all us bounty hunters vs them.
866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi hides his identity? on: December 01, 2019, 03:55:22 PM
Given the popularity that Bitcoin has already gained and the popularity that will be in the future, it is simply not safe to remain a public person, personally for Satoshi as well as for the entire Bitcoin ecosystem.

If someone really knew him in real life, its just this someone that knew him he is somebody. This someone who knew him can't even provide a prove if he really is satoshi.

Almost every day a new person comes up with the claim that he/she is the real Satoshi. The real satoshi surely does not want any kind of fame. If he/she/they want fame he could have disclosed his identity earlier. But what could be the possible reason that Satoshi still hides his identity? Does he have a big plan for the future?
the concept of bitcoin is to become anonymous  maybe satoshi really want to hide his own identity that why he creates bitcoin
there is also some possibility that he's dead because the coin that he owns is not even moving.

Maybe that is the first reason as he wanted to do this concept of anonymity, but I do understand that we all wanted to know him well as we wanted to thank him for what he did and we know that it's not an easy job for him to do this kind of creation, for sure it took him years before he finally developed it and he sacrifice a lot of things for this to finally happen.

He probably had developed BTC long before the 2008 financial crash. And since he knew its going to happen once again over and over like a pattern it did in the past bubble. He spread out blockchain to prevent it from happening again and again.

867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to zero? This guy is dreaming! on: December 01, 2019, 12:51:10 PM

There is no way ETH is going zero, why would that happen.
ETH had also experienced being fud during its start but had survived to go more than $1k last 2017. I don't think its will turn zero because if it would more than 30% of the tokens in the cryptospace are also going down. It ain't going to happen. These guys are just making the weak hands sell, did they give up spreading fud to BTC so  they turn to ETH this time?
868  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: November 30, 2019, 09:04:25 PM

If the government will accept cryptocurrency as tax payment, its as if they admit cryoptocurrency like BTC is real money. My government isn't yet taxing cryptocurrencies but will the government sets in to impose tax after I exchange my coins to fiat or how do they calculate it?

Because if the government will not tax me if its in the crypto form, then I will not exchange my coins to fiat.
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe satoshi is dead on: November 30, 2019, 07:51:32 PM
Looks like the direction of the discussion is going to Fud. It doesn't matter if Satoshi is dead. He has long been gone and he wants it. Nothing bad will happen to BTC and its development.

People from then on can build apps on of its blockchain and its still opensource that it can be used by anyone. The result of so many blockchain companies today is what satoshi had started.

870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who is into neo and why? or why not? on: November 30, 2019, 05:37:07 PM
I think that it was necessary to invest in it even when EOS did not appear, and now it is not the same one, since it was considered the best blockchain project from China, but now it is not, so I think it's worth taking a look at other projects that were created on territory of China, perhaps you will find something more interesting that will make you fabulously rich.

NEO still is one of the top project in crypto, they may not have a lot of dapps for now. But I think its because of the GAS that made investors buy them since it sends out profit without doing something but wait. Who wouldn't want that but I guess, no coins are going to last when all are dumping which is why its also affected. Hope to see price go above $70 again though.

But its true that EOS is the most trusted in China, not even sure why. TRON is also from China and thier second best too. NEO is almost in the 12th in the rank.
871  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FBI Arrests Virgil Griffith, ETH Programmer, for Giving Tech Talk in DPRK🇰🇵 on: November 30, 2019, 04:45:52 PM
So yeah, he not only gave the talk but had been formulating plans to facilitate the exchange of crypto between NK and other nations while knowing that this would violate international and US sanctions.

Guy is going to be in a lot of trouble.

Could he really be so smart that North Korea couldn't figure out whatever it is his talk was about on their own?  Maybe that doesn't matter I guess, and it's just the principle.

Wonder if any North Koreans browse BitcoinTalk to look for new ways to launder money and scam crypto for their Dear Leader.

Whats up guys, come say hi.

True. I'm sure Kim and his council can figure out themselves how to launder that Griffith doesn't have to go there. But then its also said that he go there to attention and present at Pyongyang Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Conference” (the “DPRK Cryptocurrency Conference”) when doing so violated sanctions against the DPRK. That is probably just his violation, FBI proving he really taught them to launder might not be easy.

872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a question on: November 30, 2019, 04:03:18 PM

Whats stopping people from moving to DEX is also the reason why they stay on CEX - liquidity and enough volume. Its what making traders money, security is not making them money so its worth gambling the funds to earn in trading while security in DEX is just not so important unless all CEX are all hacked already.

DEX is getting many in numbers, I think Polo version of DEX is also coming so we'll see where DEX is going.

The battle for coins, power and world domination starts in early 2020

This is what they said on their instagram. Probably have to invest more on the family and guns to be dominant there and earn XRP.

There is a lot of game in crypto already, dapps in EOS and TRON are actually good ones where anyone can earn EOS and TRX. As much as I want to play the games its not worth unless you spend more time to it.
874  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any tips for Newbie don't know about crypto but want to learn bounty on: November 29, 2019, 06:01:51 PM
Newbies are not accepted to signature campaigns but your chance is the altcoins campaigns which article/blog campaign can be profitable. You only need a channel with good amount of followers and a blog for the campaign manager to check, some are just using medium.com

Social media campaigns will also be your option. These however are paying altcoins which if lucky can be traded on exchange. These days you will have to wait for a long time before these altcoins be listed on exchanges.
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you stake? Exchange or wallet? on: November 29, 2019, 05:00:18 PM
Stay away from exchanges. Wallets will be your best choice to keep your money safer in every respect.
Now I only participate in staking on the gate Io exchange. sometimes there appear very promising coins for staking. It happens that there is ethereum staking at 10 percent per month. and now I participate in the staking of SERO COIN and will receive 50 percent of the frozen coins for 90 days
WOW. Is not 50% too much for 90 days? While others are 7-10% per year, this is suspicious. I have done some research about Sero, but I have not seen any major problems with complaints apart from bounty hunters. Volume is also around 6 million bucks, but I still recommend you to be careful.

An offer that big would look like its going to end like a scam. This project if I remember did n IEO on gate exchange, it quickly gain after it but slowly dumped as well. Maybe because of this 50% growth too.

Staking ETH later might just be a good idea too unless there will be a pool like this one that might cause the dump. Better avoid staking on exchange and the tokens that allow exchange staking.
876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is impossible to proof that somebody is Satoshi. on: November 29, 2019, 04:48:58 PM
Satoshi said his name is Satoshi Nakamoto.

Satoshi said the coins he had mined is like a donation to everyone.

..
Gavin Andresen started a project to give away free Bitcoins https://freebitcoins.appspot.com/ (no more working) and Satoshi wrote June 2010:
Excellent choice of a first project, nice work. I had planned to do this exact thing if someone else didn't do it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=183.msg1620#msg1620

He waited but thought that someone else will do it. We think that he is waiting that someone moves the early mined coins to show to the Bitcoin community that it's a prize competition and that the private keys are somehow on the blockchain.

'We think that he is waiting that someone moves the early mined coins to show to the Bitcoin community that it's a prize competition and that the private keys are somehow on the blockchain.'
It will be a game changer.

If someone that possibly had got an access to his wallet and tried to dump it, do you thin the exchange will allow the user to withdraw?

The wallet will be flagged and will be questioned and then finally he might just be considered the real satoshi and there are lots of things that can happen to this person. I don't think authorities will just let him go and live life the way he use to.

877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is impossible to proof that somebody is Satoshi. on: November 29, 2019, 03:29:39 PM
Satoshi said the coins he had mined is like a donation to everyone. I can only think he completely forget all those coins and didn't even copy paste the privatekeys of it. Think of it like the supply has been reduced and this is why its impossible for somebody to prove he is the real satoshi. But then its easy to claim. If you have something to promote to the public, you can always organize a conference and have someone to claim he is satoshi to get more audience.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Signal Premium?? on: November 28, 2019, 06:35:17 PM

Don't they have free channel first may trying out first before asking for fees?

I haven't really tried going into the channel for premium signal but it might just be fun to read what the people would say to the one who gives signal on when to buy and then suddenly its not working well for them that the market goes against it.

Think about it, if you are really good trader that earns thousands of dollars by trading, would you sell your tips for few bucks? Probably not, all of these premium signals are just paid tips, like tips for sport betting. Would you then buy these tips?

I guess you are going  to keep it for yourself and get rich through it. We all have the idea of buying low and selling high actually, doing it is the ultimate challenge.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In 2020, How To Value An Altcoin? on: November 28, 2019, 06:10:51 PM

Just like something that is for sale in an auction, altcoin has its intrinsic value. But this intrinsic value also differ since altcoins price correlates to BTC price. Most probably one can say if BTC price shoot to the moon again like reaches up again to its ATH, maybe we are going to see once again ETH going $1200 while its intrinsic value for the crypto traders will still be 0.02BTC = ETH.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum staking concept 2020 (Proof of stake) on: November 28, 2019, 02:34:43 PM
Vitalik decided to switch to POS due to their competitors scalability. But I think the reason it was taking too long is because its very hard to make this transition and ethereum had very large data in it. So transition from POW to POS is really hard though they are working hard, lets see if they can do it.

I have read a thread with also discusses the transition of ETH but what I have read as that ETH will not really be going int full POS but this is going to be hybrid POW and POS combined. So the main reason is for the scalability which I think its really important to address since the time where the kittens were active the network is clogged and gas price goes high.  Its almost bullrun and halving is also few month later so its very timely and ETH will sure stay on the 2nd cap rank still.
