Just found out I won many more shares in the lotto than I had expected. Thanks to OgNasty and nonnakip for running such a tight ship after what happened. It is really too bad about the whole bAsic deal but life on the edge is risky. Cheers

I lost a pile on this one and wouldn't have risked as much had the issuer not been verified.  I'd like to help in any way I can.

I've gotten a few PMs asking about why the hashrate varies so much.  As stated earlier, it is due to the way the pools calculate it.  I figured this picture might put some of you at ease.  We are indeed operating at nearly 7.3GH/s constantly with almost 0% rejects.

Biggups!  Recently went with cgminer after using phoenix for months myself and am very happy.  Just picked up another 25 seats to add to the pot at what I consider to be a great value.

Yep, give the guy a break. I didn't see a lot of other issuers go to the lengths that OgNasty has to make things right.
865  Economy / Goods / Re: Electronic Cigarettes smoke for $35 a month! savesmoking.com/ on: December 15, 2012, 10:53:26 PM
what is the best one for smoking some dank concentrates?

A ceramic bowl atomizer is the best I've seen for concentrates.  I am not aware of any egoT clearomisers that would work well for this use for anything but a few pulls before failure. They work great for e-liquid though.

I picked up some of the liquid thc on the SR. I'll report back once i get it.

Ahh, o.k. my experience has only been with oil. I'd be interested to hear how this works for you.

I just wanted to give a public thanks to Garr255 for all the great work in sorting out the mess.

Difficulty may not affect price but supply does. Block reward halving reduces supply. Demand is another story.
869  Economy / Securities / Re: [NASTY MINING] on: November 19, 2012, 07:58:14 AM
I have my screen shot from the day it went down plus the .csv file of my complete history. Stochastic has also posted this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=126673.0 . Does that sound satisfactory to you OgNasty?  I have just received a confirmation from Friedcat for my claim with asicminer.
870  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive on [GLBSE] on: November 19, 2012, 06:51:09 AM
I have screen capture from right before the closing and a .csv file as well.

I think the only thing that would be informative is the csv file as it contains a lot of information proving when and what trades occurred and who actually owns the account.

See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=126673.0 for a possible claims process.

Excellent! Thanks

No confirmation here either.

I DID just get 0.5 BC come in on the BC address I provided (only used for GLBSE in the past). No other communications though. 0.5 BC is at least approximately the amount of outstanding dividends I had awaiting.

Is he sending out rounded amounts? I was expecting 0.87 btc, I seem to have gotten 1.00 (exactly).

must be. i had .06  ... got 0.1  woohoo!

anyone else receive a dividend payment today?
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Namecoin value? on: September 29, 2012, 03:42:25 AM
The new Windows build that someone suggested might be why it tripled in price isn't GUI?

Wow I thought you could hardly even claim something is for Windows at all if it isn't GUI.

I wonder what if anything is new about it then, surely they already had a namecoind since whoever was a whatever.

But okay, fine, maybe DeVCoin will have to do then. Smiley

876  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FPGAMINING scam ongoing on: September 27, 2012, 10:09:38 PM
Scammer tags are only for well respected members WTF? Moparguy is verified on GLBSE but I don't understand why someone would have to be trusted to get a tagged profile.
877  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FPGAMINING scam ongoing on: September 27, 2012, 04:13:43 PM
Currently he is "still saying" he will slowly buy back shares from mining profits and his personal funds.

You mean the formerly "personal funds" of his investors?

Not tagging a scammer hoping that so he will behave better in the future is silly. He will scam more at any chance.
It would be better tagging him a.s.a.p. and maybe remove his tag once he cleared his mess if he do it fast.

And anyway that is not the only retaliation his investors should opt for. Asking Nefario to freeze his assets maybe another one.

Yes, I am really sick of scammers getting away with it because if we aren't super-nice with them they might get upset and not pay back. If you think like this, then in your interest you shouldn't invest as in half the cases you're going to beg scammers to return part of your  money. This attitude is probably the reason offers like FPGAMINING even exist: take money, screw investors, have them all grateful to have part of their funds back after months, no other consequencies. Hell, I don't now why I haven't done it myself yet.

In my opinion, since the hardware was bought with our funds, he should liquidate it and buy back our shares as soon as he can. Or continue paying dividends. No other option -expecially with such blatant refusal to give any detail about when we can expect to see our money back.
  My sentiment exactly.
878  Economy / Securities / Re: New GLBSE.com for FPGA mining investment - FPGAMINING on: September 25, 2012, 07:39:51 PM
It seems he is not liquidating but using the mining equipment to pay back a loan @ 80% of ipo price (plus dividends already paid).
879  Economy / Securities / Re: New GLBSE.com for FPGA mining investment - FPGAMINING on: September 24, 2012, 09:22:06 PM
it is written on a new motion on glbse now.
880  Economy / Securities / Re: New GLBSE.com for FPGA mining investment - FPGAMINING on: September 22, 2012, 08:59:50 PM
The dividend is halted immediately. Please watch for upcoming motions.

Regarding your casual style of managing this asset, I just contacted Nefario, who advised me to inform you that GLBSE changed its default policy on scams (from doxing) to prosecuting.

That is the problem... a casual management style. A lack of communication from the issuer regarding selling of shares at an unreasonably low price is a serious red flag. No wonder you got emails moparguy.
