862  Other / Off-topic / UK self defense? on: February 03, 2016, 08:54:35 PM
Just thinking out loud here, Obviously the UK is anti-everything, but suppose someone wanted to stay "legal" in the eyes of the law and still have some protection of property/personal, What can we do?

I know the obvious answer is "dont tell them" lol and you would be right, guns are actually quite easy to obtain still, but I just don't want to get caught with one.

Pocket knives/pepper spray, ornamental katakana swords, bows/crossbows, BB guns things like that are all out, so what do we do? any ideas?

The only weapon I can see is martial arts, but thats no good against a gun!

864  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: January 31, 2016, 10:22:46 PM
This is going to sound noobish, but on the vdiff settings, I can either tick the box so it uses the pre set minimum in my user profile which is 8
or untick it and it will set it manually for independent miners which is also 8
so is this just the starting point and the pool still auto adjust per miner, or is it set at 8 untill I change it?

Hiya, is there any hosting time paid up on these or has it ended?

867  Economy / Services / Re: I want to invest ... on: January 29, 2016, 11:21:07 PM
Unless I misunderstand you, you meant to say that you have an idea and you need people to fund it.
If that is right you need to move this thread to project development and explain thoroughly, you might get some people interests.

You misunderstood. It's the other way around: I have no ideas and funds to spend.

Personally I recommend you keep the BTC, you will get more return on it in the long run  Roll Eyes

But on the off-chance your looking for something more solid from a grounded user, you can always help me build my forum, (link in sig) I constantly run out of money promoting (good ad's cost thousands  Shocked

you can even set up contacts yourself so you know I am not just bagging the doe.

Hello, I have downloaded the wallet for squall coin and now I do not see that it is not synchronized and it is written out of sync, what can I do here?

sorry, do you mean you are connected but no nodes? or it is updating but never reaching fully downloaded?

How long have you waited for it to update?

There is an attack on one of my nodes right now, but should not be a problem as I have a few nodes up.

875  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS problematic C1 UK ONLY on: January 10, 2016, 02:02:40 AM
price?. and w hat has the custom problems being? did you mark invoice asd real retail price?.
Had some stroubles wiht people invoicing the value as when the bought the items, you get a big custom tax.
invoice needds to put as low as possible and mark as computer parts.

depending on price i am willing to buy it, i am from sweden i can purchase the post ticket whit schenker.

open to any offers right now, I was thinking of putting unit on auction, but we will see.

shipping units out with low price is stupid at best, I have "lost" units only to claim £50 for a £1000 unit lol But I only ship with low price if unit is faulty as the case is here.

Bare in mind all shipping I usually do is arranged with the buyer first, I go through all possibilities of tax and the like.

I also do not list as computer parts, another bad move, I have had customs open and charge for incorrectly listing item, but they wont tell me what is correct for this item, so I asked a friend of mine very good at law and he told me to list as PCB algorithmic test equipment lol, never had a problem since  Grin

a fully working one struggles to get $200 now, I am in no means asking for that.
876  Economy / Computer hardware / WTS problematic C1 UK ONLY on: January 08, 2016, 08:18:43 PM
This is the last for a batch I bought a while ago, it has started playing up.

It starts and runs fine but is destroying psu's, I don't have the technical knowledge to inspect or work out what is wrong.

it over draws amps and burns out cables (I use EVGA G2's and the like, no low quality psu's used by me)

This is the fourth unit I have had that has done this, If you want to take it on, make me an offer for the unit either with/without cooling loop (I will not ship fluid)

due to some really weird customs problems I have had in the past, this is a UK only post for now.

There are no dead chips, or anything like that.

let me know.

It is very bad news for me. Can you please ask him about the guys who had the avatar for many days, from the first campaign and I was faithful to that avatar and did not change it for months. I think he may consider some exceptions.
I'll forward your message to him and will let him to decide about the matter Smiley

yes, I will deal with user directly, they have supported me from day one, I have contacted directly.   Grin

Thanks a lot, he provided a very generous offer to me and considered me. Thanks a lot, not only participate  in campaign but I also pray  for being successful. Thanks again Smiley

thanks again for your continued support, you might consider upgrading your avatar as it is not a new coin anymore.

I have a small group of devoted supporters like you, I strive to help people save money from bad ipo/ico coins, I make this coin for people like you.

Kind regards.
