It is not as simple as that fortunately.

Unfortunately, the writing is on the wall. Greece is utterly bankrupt, no amount of extend and pretending is going to change this fact. Good luck people of Greece, I hope you've been buying precious metals and bitcoin. Protect your wealth!

I've read his writings for years. I really found it interesting how he was writing from his prison cell for so long. He has been correct about many things in the past, although I don't know if he is currently being influenced or not? Many doubt his writing now.

Hmm, not really seeing it.

Very thought provoking and nice picture by the way

The simple answer is something, anything, to at least first call yourself a bitcoiner. Obviously, the amount you own after that is completely dependant on your financial position and risk tolerance.

I think your viewing it wrong. To those that have what many would consider absurd amounts of wealth, it becomes something entirely different, it becomes a game.

Also been a huge supporter of Backpage and what they are doing. Amazing people running it and hope that more people continue to make the switch to them. P.S: Also hope that Steam will finally move with the times and accept Bitcoin

I don't believe it will kill alt coins altogether, as there is an appeal to being in something new, fresh and exciting. Also, altcoins tend to have a community spring up around them that many people enjoy being a part of.

Bitcoin has made massive headways into the mainstream financial world. Although not accepted by all, it will continue to grow and prosper, despite those who would prefer to see it shut down. More trouble will arise for bitcoin, but it will overcome and persevere.

Bitcoin has prospered and become generally accepted as a form of currency. Unfortunately, although Litecoin flirted with success, it has not achieved this status. I personally had a lot of hope for it.

I have fallen out of the bitcoin world many months back. I'm starting to think the dust has settled now.
I setup coinbase to buy $10 a day of the next year and a half until the next block halving sometime in 2016.
I going to go about my business. No investing in miners, altcoins, etc, etc, etc. I am simply just going to try and forget it.
A prudent strategy in any form of investing, you are basically dollar cost averaging, therefore you are less likely to be affected by price swings. Best of luck to you!

1980: No one will ever have a personal computer it is to complicated to use and serves no purpose.
1990: No one will ever use the internet it's to complicated to use and serves no purpose have you heard of a video recorder.
Very true and well put, the use of bitcoin isn't complicated at all. Understanding it may be a more complex subject on the other hand.

Why do you think banks like UBS and BNY Mellon are experimenting with bitcoin.
a. They are interested with bitcoin and want to integrate with it
b. They want to crash bitcoin thats why theyre doing background check
c. They want to make their own digital currency
d. What do you think?
Very likely, they see the future value of being able to print their own virtual money. In reality the banks can already print their own money out of thin air, via fractional banking and debt issuance. Yet this will be even better in their eyes. Get ready for a future filled with virtual currencies. Will they succeed? That's a whole other question.

Although the bitcoin community in Argentina is not as large as some of the other communities like USA or China, but still for a much smaller perspective, bitcoin have really grown up in there. There are almost 100 services that allows BTC in Buenos Aires. So that's a positive start, and with their economic potential, Bitcoin market will continue to expand at a very rapid pace in Argentina, no doubt. http://www.coinbuzz.com/2015/04/04/bitcoin-will-transform-argentina/That is great news, I always like reading stories about the continued expansion of the bitcoin userbase. Bitcoin is going to be a continued global phenomenon. Dispite minor set backs, here and there.
