Just my luck that a failsafe happens shortly after I go to sleep.

Oh well, at least we had some lucky blocks in the meantime.

Stats are catching up, I'll catch up payouts this evening.

-wk

Edit: I quickly hacked in a notice on the stats to detect when fail-safes happen and put a notice on every page.  Hopefully this helps with tons of inquiries every time this happens.

What does this mean though? What are the conditions for a fail-safe mode? Since this is the first time I encountered this, I assume this is not "normal".

it is normal, and alotta things trigger failsafe...no biggie if it happens thou, it happens to protect everything Smiley but wizkid is trying his best to make sure it doesn't happen alot...I'm sure someday he'll get the ship sailing nice and smooth Smiley

868  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GB]Terraminer IV #6 , 0.4 BTC=67GH/s 18/30 shares on: December 15, 2013, 03:04:30 AM
Hi,

Just to confirm, this is a share for the April shipment?
And to confirm it will be a long term mining contract? (Ie will be mined indefinitely)?
If so I'm in for 1 share. Please confirm the price to pay (0.4 BTC?),

Thanks

april until they sell out of april if GB doesn't get funed soon enough and no indefinitely...if majority agrees to sell then it gets sold and everyone splits the profit I think...

870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: December 10, 2013, 02:08:27 AM
Is there anything I can do to get these cores to work? On board 3 none of the cores work, and on board 2 about 24 out of the 192 cores seem to stay off.

I just got the miner today and when I initially started it up the hashrate climbed up to about 660/670, but later i checked and noticed it was running at about 480GH/s.

Do you have a flaky power supply?

You really should be able to find a supply that can deliver 12V -- 12.2V -- 11.8V might be an issue.

I have a seasonic plat. and it says 11.8v on mine but it works fine...I'd like to think seasonic isn't a flaky psu Cheesy but mine is a oct. unit...feel sorry for everyone that is having problems with nov. units...you'd think the extra time/wait for these units they'd all arrive perfect...or most of them...good luck to you all Smiley and happy diff. raise day!!! err..wait Sad
