No,bitcoin price has already suffered due to china's actions against bitcoin.That's why the price fell down from $4,000 to around $3,000 last week.But it has recovered from such impacts and now its price is $3,950.This is due to high buy wall for bitcoins all over the world.Chances are very less for bitcoin price to fall now.I think bitcoin is free now from china's impact.So,no more price drops due to china.
Even if it had recover, there is still a chance for it to drop because dumps will not only be caused by China, there could be more other things that could affect it. Still, it might not continue on it's downward trends any longer but rather we might see it moving up again as soon as the resistance on 4000$ is broken. For now, try to hold all the bitcoin you got and sell only a little percent so that if it pumps, there won't be any regrets. |

millennial's are the biggest investors and supporters obviously, but bitcoin has to reach a level of financial prosperity to somewhat the fullest eventually...will it make our kids rich? Grandkids? Great Grand Kids? Aliens or Martians to that far extent?
For sure it will make kids rich if they hold bitcoin long enough. It will also make your grandkids and great grand kids rich OP so long as they also hold some btc to convert at a later point of their life. I would not say the same for aliens since we still dont know if they exist or not and the same goes for martians. Only future can tell about the last two but for sure it will make one who holds it long enough rich. |

Well bitcoin is struggling to break $3900, let alone $4000 or $4100.
I think there are still traders with cash sitting on the sidelines waiting for september 30th, before they make their move.
Regarding the Chinese exchanges - do any users have information of what exactly is going on - have people managed to successfully withdraw their coins or fiat, for example?
It would be nice if those traders sitting on the sidelines with large cash really makes their move on September 30 because if they do, for sure we will break the resistance point and go way above. Regarding Chinese exchanges, most of them has successfully withdrawn all their coins to another international exchange or to fiat so the Chinese influence in btc price will be over pretty soon. |

Looks like a trap to me. I wouldn't dare to even buy at this point where it seems like whales are playing up. It can be dangerous at times because right now, there is a lot more volume on dumps than upward trends so it will be safer if we all hold the bitcoin we got now and not dare buy more. If it were to rise I would still be good with it but the chance of it going up is not that high and not that low so it is possible. |

Jamie Dimon's attack on bitcoin and China FUD will be a thing of the past and by the end of this month we expect to resume another bullish momentum.The news that Amazon will start to use bitcoin as a mode of payment before the end of this year will definitely going to pump the price. I see bitcoin at $10000 before end of this year, what is your thoughts.
I think it is a bit too much as heck for a prediction IMO but still I have said the same thing when someone speculated bitcoin touching over 3000$ this year when bitcoin was still less than 2000$ price so I wont say it is impossible. That thing about amazon is still a rumor but if it were to really come true, it would be nice because it would be easier buying things up in amazon so I expect it to at least be over 4800$ before this year ends. |

There is no direct connection but the price of bitcoin is always reflected in the price of altcoins. Personally, I trust the bitcoin. I know of a cryptocurrency start and if we are waiting for the collapse of the cryptocurrency that bitcoin will be the last currency which will live.
The price of bitcoin is always reflected on the price of altcoins probably because most people do buy and sell every time bitcoin price goes up or down depending on the movement of bitcoin. Because of that bitcoin controls other altcoins indirectly but not all. There are some like ETH and other top coins that doesn't follow the trend of btc price sometimes. That being said, if btc price, it will not be always certain that eth will fall. |

There is a big probability that it will break the 4000$ resistance point if ever the rumors were true. Still even if the rumors don't come true, bitcoin will break that resistance points in due time so there's nothing to worry about at all. The best thing to do right now is hoard and hodl until we see btc breaking that resistance point and getting past 4800$+. |

More and more countries are planning to regulate ICOs. China, Canada, Russia,... I think this in an development nobody can stop. Do you think it is good or bad that ICOs will be more regulated in the near future? What positive and negative influences will it probably have?
I think there will be more investors like professional managed funds or even retirement funds which will invest into ICOs. The prices for ICOs will then become even more expensive and make it more difficult to make profits for small investors.
I dont think it will be that bad because besides getting more investors which are professionals, it will have a healthier environment now that it has been regulated and there will be lesser scams because of it. The bad side besides ICO tokens getting more expensive, for sure it will get more regulated and it might not be as profitable as it is now anymore. Also, it will be more difficult to invest into because even investors will be regulated. |

Hey, just an update, I invested into Substratum ICO, hope it goes well I like their idea.
If you like their idea, good for you then. Since you believe their project, your only option if you want out of that is to sell at a gain, not at a loss. Never sell with a loss and keep holding even if price dumps. Always remember, getting profit is your goal so never sell early and never sell too late and the best strategy for a beginner is to sell immediately after gaining 25% profit from the investment or more depending on the amount. |

Doge used to be one of my favorite altcoin but it seems that it's not gonna recover to it's former state.
Is their hope for Doge? What can you say about the big drop of Doge?
There is still a little hope for doge in the future but most probably it will stay below it's price now. It is at 25 satoshi atm and it has been under these price ranges in the past so maybe there will come a time again that it will go back reach new highs but it is very unlikely after all it has less world use but at least it can be used to pay someone over the internet and is typically better than some coins. |

How safe is it to hold your money in tether? It's based in Hong Kong and some of the terms and conditions are cringey. If something were to happen to it do you think polo and bittrex would honor your money some how?
Like there it still have some risk holding your money on tether. If I were you I would hold my money on coins that have been on a low price for a period of time like waves. If something were to happen to it, polo and bittrex won't return your money be cause it is not their fault, it's tether's but if it is still sellable when that something happens sell your tether. |

Glad to see that I have joined in some of them including Bancor, Omseigo, SONM, TenX and Qtum. But some of them are below the ICO price now such as SONM.
That's how it is, some are there to stay and some will have a temporary rise then drop. Some might also stay at low for a long time before pumping and having a successful ICO or not does not matter when coin reached the market and has been traded for months. The only things that matters at this point is constant updates from dev and also community's support to a certain coin. |

It is the first time that I have heard about this coin and for that reason I have read through the links on the OP and also the link given by someone in the comments above and I conclude that it is yet another scam coin. Why does cryptoworld need another coin which is supposedly to be used for trading and use to pay everyday? Everyone will rather use bitcoin for payments everyday or another altcoin. The same reason applies for the former reason so it is obviously a scam. |

Because lots of bitcoin transactions are done in China. China plays an important role in cryptocurrencies. Any news from China about cryptocurrencies can affect the prices.
It's not that China gains a lot of attention because of a lot of transactions being done there, but I agree with the latter. Besides it, the manipulator probably was a Chinese and for this reason people gives a lot of attention now to China's news. I also agree that China plays a big role in crypto after all there are many miners there compared to how many miners some other country got. |

I think bitcoin price wouldnt drop more because the news is over and some maybe are trying to reload their stash now. Bitcoin is sitting tightly at 3900$+ and I think the price it has now is quite good and indicates that there will be another bullish run soon. It might also indicate that another bearish crash will happen but for now it is most unlikely to happen because the FUD is now over but still I wouldn't exclude it's possibility, we can't now if there will be another bad news. |

You are right but when will it happen? Well I hope this happens sooner or later in the next 3 years so that we will see a more healthier growth and dump in price of bitcoin by that time. It would also take a lot of time before that happens because there are some persistent Chinese who doesnt really move their bitcoin a lot is still holding so it wont come that easily. Even if that is being said, btc price movements will be healthier every time a dump caused by fake news about China happens. |

It is better if you buy using only 1/4 of what you intend to use so that when it dips you will still have some fiat left to buy bitcoin. It is better if you look for short term investment first OP because right now there are many things going on centered around bitcoin and those affects bitcoin price day by day. You should look into long term investment when btc already got stable for months and when we haven't seen any action for more than 1 and a half month. |

Is Bitcoin nothing more than a bubble??
If Bitcoin was to become truly mainstream and gain traction in the everyday market place, governments would not allow it. That they would shut it down or introduce such measures as to make the currency unworkable for the majority. Dimon said that it is far more likely that the establishment would use the idea and technology of digital currency block chain to enhance its own FIAT currency, than to allow an uncontrolled and decentralized currency usurp it's financial power and authority of markets and it's people!!
I know which side of the argument I will be supporting, but what are your thoughts on where you truly believe and expect the future of the Bitcoin to lie?

Bitcoin is not just a bubble that's what I think for now and if it truly became mainstream and have gained attraction in the future, for sure what Dimon said might happen but there is a chance that this will not happen. In the future though even if government did made digital currency to enhance their fiat currencies, people would still opt to use bitcoin for it's decentralization rather than the centralized currency made by them. I only hope that by that time a way to crack private keys has not been discovered yet. |
