I wonder if someone still should get into trading Bitcoin at this point? There was a time with incredible aggresive swings so that daytrading was interesting, but now the movements appear but much slower. Is it still worth it to trade?
For trading bitcoin to fiat money it is not worth for me, because will need large capital,
except you use much capital for trading bitcoin to fiat.
But for trading altcoins of course yes it is still worth because cloud made good profit from a little capital
also we can use large capital too on trading altcoins.

865  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: on 2-2-2017 Bitcoin is trading at 1002.59 on: February 04, 2017, 06:20:21 AM
Bitcoin price hit 1002.59 on 2-2-2017. As a traders what is in this for us? The margin traders will always make their gain either the bitcoin is trading up or down. But the buy and hold traders, the best opportunity is now, if you bought bitcoin on Monday the 31 January 2017 you could have makes $80 profits as at today the 2 February 2017. I keep on saying traders should focus on events that changes people views on bitcoin instead of follow panic traders.
Yes unfortunately every traders has strategy for making profit,
your strategy can not work for the trader that looking for profit daily.
Long time Investment (buy right now and hold)
will be work for investors not for the trader.

That is good news, i hope will be followed by other good news
and many banks that adopt ripple will make more trust in ripple,
it is mean the developers of ripple are so serious building ripple for
more better in the future.

871  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advertizing a gambling/dice game - need opinions, thanks! on: February 04, 2017, 03:11:58 AM
Hi,

I would like to hear your opinion (or about your experience in) advertizing a gambling site. I have created and am running YOLOdice.com, yet another gambling site. Now the thing is it's doing pretty well, but is quite young (little over 1 month). It already has investors, players and I am sure it's on the right way to become a big one, but I would like to speed the process a bit with advertizing.

We are already doing:
* sig campaign on BitcoinTalk
* in-site referral program
* started Twitter giveaways and planning a few more

But I am looking at other options and was thinking about checking advertizing - CPM or CPC. Since I have never advertized a gambling site, I can see there are already a few Bitcoin-centric advertizing networks, I would really like to hear some opinions if you decide to share!

Thanks and cheers,
Ethan
You have done good jobs for advertising a gambling, you are already doing signature campaign,
referral program and Twitter giveaway,
you just need to focus on your advertising right now because your promote is very new
and build gambling business is not easy needs time.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !! BEST ALTCOIN !! on: February 03, 2017, 02:55:09 PM
Lets see which altcoin gets the most votes Cheesy  Cool Cool

But every person can vote all of the coins on that list. It will be useless in my mind.

Every people will vote for the coin which have the high number of market capitalization.  Roll Eyes
Yes the list coins is not completes include there is not ethereum classic and other coins
so i don't give my vote on this thread
i vote ethereum classic not ethereum, because it is original of ethereum blockchain before
the DAO hard fork.

874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Western Union is getting destroyed by Bitcoin in Switzerland on: February 03, 2017, 08:29:15 AM
Bitcoin starts spreads to remittance business, the transaction of bitcoin is fast than traditional transaction,
that are some beneficial bitcoin be compared with western union.
The people will choose bitcoin for sending the money than choose western union that has expensive fees
some time western union will be getting destroyed by bitcoin for all of countries.
875  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain adoption by banking sector on: February 01, 2017, 05:57:26 AM
Block chain adoption is not only in bitcoins .but it has been widely used in banking sector and it industry like salesforce .they are also using the concept of bitcoins .
Yes but the banks are just adoption concept of bitcoin and blockchain technology
they don't really adopt bitcoin as currency on their banks
because bitcoin can not be controled by them.
876  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: got email from localbitcoin for investing, beware (needs opinion) on: January 31, 2017, 03:22:46 AM
Much better if you show us the details of the email you receive if it's really from localbitcoins.com

There are so many scammers right now using the name of big company or services to trick people simply to scam, they are using the same site's name but differs from its domain extension. This is obviously a scam attempt, beware!.
The sender of email was from this address localbitcoins-no-reply@localbitcoins.co without m
i am sure it is trying scam and the real website localbitcoins.com and the sender of email use (@localbitcoins.co) without m

Got this email too in one of my email accounts, and it went straight to the spam folder. Not sure how they got my email though. It's an obvious phishing attempt.
Well I think we just needs ignore this emails because it is realy trying scam
because if it is true must there are clarification from official localbitcoin.com
877  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain adoption by banking sector on: January 30, 2017, 01:40:26 PM
Unfortunately the bankings are just adoption blockchains technology
they still didn't adoption bitcoin become digital currency on their business
they have adopted blockchains technology for making easy services on their business.
The technology behind bitcoin is the greatest invention and so is the reason blockchain is being adopted or planning to adopt by major financial institutes.Adopting bitcoin as a mode of payment depends upon individual business owners as it is not a adopted by the majority of people.Once the demand increases then you could see major business accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment and inorder to do so they have to sort the transaction delay we are facing right now.
Yes you are right and I think it is just about time for banks adopt bitcoin too,
Wait until there are many people whom use bitcoin for payment method on their life
so the banks must adopt bitcoin on their service not blockchain technology only.
878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin prevent crime? on: January 30, 2017, 08:41:48 AM
No, bitcoin can not prevent crime because bitcoins can be used for good and bad everything
depend on users bitcoins what will do with bitcoins,
bitcoin is same with other money although bitcoin can be tracked via wallets and the peoples can see it
but bitcoin is more like new technology for save value than prevent crime.

Yes I almost agree with the comments above, Bitcoin will not be able to prevent crime on the Internet, while in the real world Bitcoin will be relatively safer because transactions.
If it's safe or not an issue, then it's back to the individual self, how strong you are to protect and prevent the crime itself.
Yup I hope the fetures of bitcoin ( anonymous one of fetures of bitcoin)
don't be used for something illegal is like for money laundering,
because the impact will make image of bitcoin is bad.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are factors behind the success of Monero on: January 30, 2017, 06:21:52 AM
If monero be called successful because of monero's price was becomed expensive than before
I think it is because of many traders and investors who put their money on monero
and it is still speculation they made investment into monero with large of money,
i don't think that it is because of the developers of monero make new innovations.
Actually, much of the currency's success is due to the innovations present in it, developers have done a good job in developing an alternative currency that significantly improves fungibility. Anyway, I don't think this is the best time to put lots of money into it. The currency has the potential to increase in value, but it is necessary to develop an ecosystem around it.
For me the trader that has low capital and daily trader,
i agree with you this is not the best time to put lots of money into monero.
Will be different for the trader that has large capital and long term strategy,
maybe they think it is time to making Investment in monero because of monero's price expensive.
880  Economy / Services / Re: QTUM Signature and Avatar Campaign [READ THE OP] on: January 29, 2017, 02:51:59 PM
This was the time I was still gambling at bitvest.io . I thought I will be lucky and made some YOLO bets. Actually i was a  bit lucky that day because I was able to bring my balance to 0.5 BTC. But I was greedy. I thought my luck will not run out. So I YOLO one last time and, alas, it landed on zero. All that effort to bring it to 0.5, all lost in 1 click. Only if I did not give in to my greed.
It is not place for talking about gambling, it is services section for qtum signature campaign and
you have made wrong comments on wrong place and there are no related with topic
I don't know what is going on with you but you have made good joke  Grin
