861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: July 29, 2021, 11:47:04 PM
I heard some of my friends constantly earning income with staking masternode coin . but i didn't really follow what's happening now and it seems that there are a lot of coins that can't be staked but are staked by these platforms. I'm not really interested in things like that there are a lot of risks its more than only holding coin. and usually its needed large capital.

Because most staking coins has no actual use case, so they are just staking coins and sell it in the market afterwards. Which for me is not a sustainable approach. Once these stakers have had enough, they can easily hop to another project and look for more profitable coin. It is good if you are staking eth for example, because this is a very well established platform. But for other alts, most of them have only short lifespan, so you need to get out while they still have value in the market. Otherwise, you may end up holding worthless staked coins.
862  Economy / Economics / Re: Can blockchain replace the traditional banking system? on: July 29, 2021, 10:58:55 PM
It can be adopted and used, but not really for replacing for this time. But not know the future, maybe after the mass adoption and everything is ready already.
Not only on banking systems but also in several other systems in various companies or institutions.
However, maybe the adoption period will be compensated there is a government or control holder in the company. Because not everyone wants to change quickly. So it might take a longer time for adoption times like this. Especially if this happens in some countries that still have a lot of traditional payment methods.

-snip-
Btw, Blockchain is a technology, not only about crypto. They can use blockchain technology for their system and that doesn't mean that they must create cryptocurrency also.  But I do agree that it may not replace the traditional bank system for this time (not know about the future) Smiley

They may adopt the technology like creating their own CBDC, but they won't be replacing their traditional banking anytime soon. This will really take time and consumers are not ready for this. Just be happy that today they are more open in this technology and trying to integrate it in their system via CBDC. But not all governments are into this development. Implementation of blockchain tech is not that easy when it comes to government because they have a lot of considerations, they need to think of their citizens that would possibly use it.
863  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It feel good to see Bitcoin going well on: July 28, 2021, 11:56:08 PM
Its good that we are able to rise again unexpectedly since there’s no big news aside from private institutions coming into this market, and Bitcoin was able to sustain its momentum going up. For now, we have to retest the resistance level and hopefully was able to break it again because if not, sideways trend are more possible. I’m confident that the bottom was already hit and Bitcoin price wont go down below $35k again, hopefully.

It can still go down to $35k but we need good news to sustain what we have now. But in any case, we need to prepare what's about to come. If we will hear another country considering bitcoin to be legal tender, it may somehow influence the market. Or any major company accepting btc as payment. But for now, let's be grateful that we are heading to the positive direction rather than downward movement as some predicted.
864  Economy / Economics / Re: If you can get paid through cryptocurrency, do you still choose fiat currency? on: July 28, 2021, 09:56:49 PM
~ If you can get paid through cryptocurrency, which one would you choose?
I would probably prefer to be paid in fiat in full because I'm already familiar with how to trade/convert to crypto at anytime. I mean I can buy more BTC if I do it on my own rather than through a payment processor that takes a higher service fee than my usual exchange.

I would do the same. Because if you will let the company buy btc on behalf of you, there will be charges from somewhere and you may end up receiving btc which is not the rate of the current market. So I'll just prefer to be paid in fiat and I will do my own trading of crypto. Maybe, this will be convenient, receiving btc directly for those new crypto users. So they don't to worry about the trading part. However, along the way, they will also learn once they received btc because that's the only way to understand this market, make your own trade.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we already in meme coins mania? on: July 27, 2021, 11:53:16 PM
I don't participate in shitcoins like that because it will only make my assets trapped and lost there, I prefer to buy coins that have real potential and can provide a profit, even though the price movement is very slow it's not a problem, bitcoin will still be the best and I will support by buying as much as I can for long term investment.

But some people like to jump on this kind of hype for the hope that they will get rich fast. However, very few meme coins/tokens will survive as most of them have empty foundation to begin with. Although people are still creating a lot of meme tokens, only few of them will make it in the market. So be careful in choosing meme project to invest with or better yet, not invest on them at all. Just stick to top projects with active use case.

From the roadmap in Q3, you already checked the e-sports championship sponsorship. May we know what team have you got for sponsorship and the related tweets or any article about your sponsorship?
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does matic (polygon) worth to invest? on: July 27, 2021, 09:19:16 PM
Many people claim that matic is better than dogecoin after the recession last week. Do you agree?
This comparison is still awkward to me, is like comparing mango to apple. Matic (polygon) has better fundamentals as a secure internet blockchain, it can be compare with other multichain like Cosmos, Avalanche and Polkadots, not Dogecoin.

Exactly! There is no reason to compare MATIC to DOGE. MATIC has better technology, if I may say. And now, some projects are noticing this network, and they are creating their projects under this platform. Whereas, we have never heard of what is happening with doge in terms of development. Definitely, I will choose MATIC here, they are quite promising in this market. And hopefully, if more and more projects will create under this network, I believe they can further improve their position in the market.
868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-SALE] XIRCUS 🚀 FIRST MULTI-CHAIN NFT MARKETPLACE CREATION PLATFORM on: July 26, 2021, 11:48:23 PM
Then, when we can see that planed 3 sale stage. I also can not found the right answer in the whitepaper. Since the mainnet is launched today, so I think the time for the token sale is near. I'm also quite curious about the information about this Xircus token, so far what is certain is that it will use the binance smartchain network.

Seems that they will launch bounty campaign here as irfan posted this ANN thread. Anyway, as they are exploring their opportunity in NFT industry, they need to be aggressive in attracting those artists, preferably with names already in the industry, as it can attract potential buyers. But of course, once they already established their names, even new artists can deploy their artworks. They may offer very economical prices here.
869  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin a good investment in this pendamic situation? on: July 26, 2021, 10:27:55 PM
That's correct, depends on the investors since the behavior of the investor is going to decide if they are going to be making money or not.
Is there an investor who has no intention to earn money?  Huh
I don't know what you mean exactly, but I am sure all investors spend their money on an investment in order to gain profits (earning money). What for the spend time, funds, and efforts if finally, they got nothing? If an investor cannot earn money or get losses, it doesn't mean he doesn't want to take profits. But it is because he is failed to manage his investment correctly.

Maybe what he is referring to, for example, if the investor panics and sell his portfolio even at a loss, so it is his behavior towards the market that made him lose his investments. But definitely, all investors aim for profit. I don't think anyone will aim for loss. But how he strategizes is what people differentiate from each other.
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ready for 2025 run otherwise its time and money wasting on: July 26, 2021, 12:00:05 AM

2018 ATH passed and went 3x 65000USD to BITCOIN. Now we again expecting to go 100,000 and 130000. I think its useless point now. its better to wait 2025. just accumulate usdt and ready for 2025.

You're projecting so far, do you think about the long term effect of it? Within that period of years, many things that's going to exist and we don't the consequences that might happen to our lives. We can't be certain about the finances we have in the future, don't know if how to manage our holdings by the time we'll able to need money for personal needs and emergency. If you see a gaining profit, deciding quickest and simplest is our best chance to have.

That's a long way to go, 4 years is a long wait in crypto. There are so many things that may happen here. And besides, I am not really confident with USDT for long term holding. When they admitted couple of years ago that they were not 100% backed by assets, I started to doubt their claims. So we don't know their future as well. But anyway, it is your money, so you have all the freedom to do what you want or where you want to invest it.
871  Economy / Economics / Re: New Jersey Pension Invested $7M in Bitcoin Mining on: July 25, 2021, 10:45:11 PM
$7m isn't a huge amount but the fact that it comes from a State Pensions Fund is a big deal. It shows that there is trust at institutional and state level for investing in Bitcoin services, also it encourages other Pension Fund investors to do the same, and these guys have really deep pockets!

And it means, they also did their risk assessment here. If they invested in crypto-related business, this means they believe it has high potential to grow. Because if they have hesitation, they won't put this kind of funds to a very volatile market. This move will encourage other related institutions to make a move in this market, which is actually good for crypto community.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful what you choose to invest in now, not all coins will recover. on: July 25, 2021, 10:04:43 PM
I agree with you, in investing, it is very necessary to be careful in investing in several coins on the market, using the basic economic formula in investing in cryptocurrencies is not always a reference, because some are very difficult to improve the situation, so choose the top coin that  always dominate the market.

This is the reason if you don't know which alts to keep, better go to btc. As no matter what happens, even this top coin will crash, we know that this will not disappear or always have the market. But with other alts, if it is not in the top market, the likelihood that it will be abandoned during bear season is high, or better yet, would be hard for them to survive.
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CCR] CONCORD on: July 24, 2021, 11:57:45 PM
We need more info here. Are you launching your own website here? Seems that this is just your PRE-ANN as a lot of important info are still missing.

And by the way, what is the main purpose of creating this project? Because if you have no good reason why you created it, your motivation to continue whenever there's bottleneck encountered may not be strong to keep on going.
874  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: July 24, 2021, 11:42:12 PM
Everything in this pandemic is for business, the elite grab opportunity to collect more and more money. The big pharma network benefited the sweetness of profits for vaccine, and the daily  mask and faceshield will give profitability of chinese businessman. If there is no pandemic the world can easily advance into the future unlike today the world is like getting pause and controlled
And they're earning billions every week despite the covid pandemic has come. Although it's no longer surprising to see that the rich are getting richer and the poor get poorer but considering that it's happening during these times of pandemic.
There must be something into it and their wealth keeps on increasing because of their businesses that are along side with the situation of the world right now.

Maybe if we look at that aspect, it is quite disappointing as these businesses are proliferating whereas, a lot are suffering. However, looking at the other side of things, pandemic advanced us in terms of digital payments. That's why crypto market boomed during this pandemic. As merchants are trying to look for alternatives of cash payment, they've seen that crypto payments is a very good alternative. I think, that's one positive outcome in crypto during this crisis.
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: July 24, 2021, 11:26:54 PM
As information from CZ: 1.2 billion dollars BNB is transferred in 1 second, which takes less than 2 cents

On June 26, about $ 1.2 billion Binance Coin (BNB) was transferred in 1.1 seconds, for a fee of only $ 0.015 on Binance Chain, disclosures of this data were published on WhaleAlert , a platform that tracks important transactions. The exact amount of BNB transferred is 32,888,888. As a Twitter user pointed out, 8 is a number unlike anyone in Chinese arithmetic, quoting Wikipedia: "Number 8 is considered a good number that even some 8s are considered is very lucky ".

With such successes do you think BNB will become the All coin king?

I'm not talking about who will be the king of all coins. But I am more focused on transactions that occur in BNB, and this transaction is truly extraordinary with a very large amount. and certainly the owner is a successful billionaire. And I think BNB deserves to be called the best altcoin of the year because of its low transaction fees and good popularity.

As we can see here, the OP posted this thread last 2019. And look at what BNB achieve to date, that's pretty impressive, right? If not the king of alts because we are excluding ETH here, BNB has achieved a very tremendous growth. And they are still innovating their services with this BSC network. So even if they are not labeled as king of alts, they already achieved a very good standing in this market.
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ShinobiDoge - lets everyone become a whale and dictate the price! on: July 24, 2021, 11:07:07 PM
Are you deploying brand new/newbie accounts to bump this thread? Better stop this strategy as this will just clutter your thread with unnecessary posts. Anyway, I assume this is created because of the hype around Shiba and Doge, where you derived your name. What do you think will be your edge over the other meme tokens created because of the doge hype?
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how can i find alt coins before they explod on: July 24, 2021, 10:44:37 PM
~
In my opinion there are no indicators that accurately predict which coin that will be going to the moon but this based on what i have seen on some moon coins.
It is a fact that the coins that get the most hype usually rallies but what the OP might be asking is how to identify before that and grab that opportunity. In the past when there is an announcement made here i usually check them out but the problem now a days is that some of the projects are not posting their announcement here or post them after the initial phase and it is not that easy to identify them unless the hype explodes.

This is why it is very hard to identify such coins with potential of pumping up. Unless, you will be doing all your study of new coins. You need to stream line the list because that would be a tedious job to follow those projects. If you read something in social media, don't just ride the hype. You also need to validate what's happening by checking facts. Because if you will blindly follow the hype, you will easily lose money in this way.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Shiba Inu, the DOGE Killer: a Decentralized Deflationary Store of Value on: July 24, 2021, 10:08:23 PM
A channel has appeared in the discord https://discord.gg/shibatoken where all the information about ShibaSwap is collected #shibaswap recources who is interested can join and study.

-

As you are actively giving updates on this thread, just wondering what is your part in this project? Because the OP himself is not active here. So are you the official rep of the SHIB team? Because we need direct communication to the team if something important is being asked here. They already gained popularity in the community, so are they still concerned about their thread in the forum?
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [PRESALE LIVE] [$APPR] Appreciate Coin - the crypto token for social media on: July 24, 2021, 09:23:36 PM
Well, finally the sale is begin, some of the influencer make the tweet to support and make this sale become more effective. That's all get positive response, I congrat it. Then, in icohotlist is marked as hot, I'm sure this will incerease the chance to make the sale sucessfully. I can barely wait see the sale result.

https://www.icohotlist.com/ico/appreciate-coin/

Can they also give the live stats of their pre-sale? Showing how much is the current collection of funds? Since they already started the pre-sale few days ago, I am assuming they already raised some funds up to this day. At least, have an idea if they are getting interest from the community. And this is good for investors who don't want KYC requirements, because they don't require one. However, you have to assess on your own if this is worth your funds to invest with.
880  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BIKI exchange has frozen my account - Bogus Batch Registration Accusation on: July 24, 2021, 04:19:14 AM
How did you find this exchange? I mean, how come you used this unfamiliar crypto-exchange? This is the reason why it is still best to use reputable exchanges. But I do understand that some tokens are listed in unknown exchanges. Have you searched users' feedback before using this exchange?
