861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BSV holders are losing funds on: November 10, 2020, 05:11:29 AM
My opinion on all bitcoin fork coin has never been optimistic irrespective of team, community behind and development attached. They have struggled so hard, they usually fail to realize that the coins are in the circus of the altcoin and will need all forms of promotion to attain the adoption and acceptability again. BSV might have had the last pump without bitcoin itself in the early part of the year with Craig wright news. It is difficult to purchase BSV with no other development
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Alts Market already bottomed out? on: November 10, 2020, 04:53:56 AM
It is difficult to call bottom for alt market. Defi led the baby bull in the alt market and majority had lost a huge size of their price in the past few weeks. However, ethereum still retain a good close distance from the year price height, which is a good stats for a coin that leads the altseason. Most of the coin in the top coinmarketcap that are over 3 years are still quiet with price movement this year, the price movement had been controlled in USD value and I see better development in few weeks
863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 09, 2020, 09:30:02 AM
What has changed from Manchester City this season ?

I think they are bit unlucky as they went through with lot injuries and or some being COVID+ in middle. City are a great team but they had some injuries like Jesus, Aguero, De Bruyne also. These are main players who drive the city attack a lot usually. Their defense still have problems. Earlier their attack used to produce enough goals to win them matches but right now with absence of key players in middle they lost the quality and proper build up. They gonna be on track soon, no worries.
No permanent champion in football, even if the team does not have that injuries other teams are getting better and are younger. Guardiola took the points when his tactics had not be unraveled. He might need a better tatics, he has spent more than than any other manager in the league especially in his defense but what did we see? shamble!
864  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Targets for 2020 on: November 09, 2020, 01:51:46 AM
With bitcoin likely to move in this long term cycle, I agree with Bloomberg analysts.  Price movements over the past 2.5 years look similar to the pattern for 2.5 years after bitcoin's rise to a record high in December 2013. Then bitcoin hit $ 20k at the end of 2017. I see this year botcoin has a lot of opportunities to reach $ 20k.  especially after the bitcoin halving in May.
That's my argument if it follows the same cycle of year 2016, we cant have the ATH in 2020. It will get close and correct early next year (2021) before the breaking of ATH in late Q1 or Early Q2 of 2021, but I think since the hash rate is increasing and the cycle is getting shorter bitcoin new parabolic might come earlier than in the last cycle. Bitcoin agenda has not change since the numbers of altcoin has increased in the market, he will lead the bull market for Ethereum then others enter the altseason.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin and altcoins bull run every 4years. how many years already? 🐂🐃🦈 on: November 09, 2020, 01:45:03 AM
I don't think the bull run runs every 4 years there's no exact date on the Bull maybe it's just a coincidence but there's no proof that every four years a bull run will happen.
Dont make the same mistake in the past and miss the time to take profit in the market and lose all your earnings in the bear market. We have had 2 bull market already and it occur in cycle of 4 years including the halving and the parabolic bull movement, it is not a coincidence if your compare the present price movement to previous. Though things are changing in the space and the size of profit are reducing for the high coinmarketcap coin (less than 10x), you had better know is in cycle early
866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tax Question on: November 09, 2020, 01:33:02 AM
Before anything else, don't consider this answer as an expert opinion.

For the 1 BTC that you bought at $10,000 and sold at $15,500, you will have a taxable income of $5,500. Since this is held for less than a year, this is considered small-term. Therefore, small-term capital gains tax shall be imposed. Unlike long-term capital gains tax, small-term capital gains tax rate is equal to individual income tax. Of course, less the deductions.

For the price of the 1 BTC that you received from selling your TV, you can always try to remember the date and then refer to online references for the previous prices of Bitcoin. Coinmarketcap.com, for example, can give you that.

Do they tax btc in wallet or the fund taken as reward in the bank?
867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without banks, is it possible to move physical currencies to Crypto? on: November 08, 2020, 10:40:46 AM
It begs me to ask this question; is it possible for one to move physical currencies to Crypto exchanges without passing through the Bank?
Yes, we called them e-wallets or some say digital wallets. Even without a bank account, you can transfer fiat to crypto exchange that accepts deposits from these e-wallets. Others use remittances to transfer funds to crypto exchange, at least at coins.ph and any local exchange based on my country it's possible.

Btw this topic doesn't belong to the services board, bitcoin discussion or service discussion suits this one.
I dont think any of the processes you mentioned will elude the use of bank account. Most fiat transaction on-line will require bank account, If I dont know any you can help but Fiat lately is not built for transfer online without the use of bank. Remittance and other measure are even more risky than the banks, OTC can cater for the absence of bank if one can present cash but that is not also safe.
868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 fastest crypto coins on: November 08, 2020, 10:32:29 AM

ETH 2.0 that is coming soon will be if not the best, but one of the best!

The purpose for the development of Eth 2.0 might be misconstrued if enough information is sorted but I thinks it is more for security, larger number of transaction, reduce energy consumption and Defi (along the proof of stake). We are not likely to see the immediate effect after launch but will improve as time passes on the 3 phases of release.

870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Turnoff Happen to Bitcoin on: November 06, 2020, 11:41:38 AM
A lot of cryptocurrency enthusiasts and investors are hoping for the day Bitcoin and some meaningful altcoins will be mainstream and also use by online payment giant like Paypal. Fortunately, the crypto community received an amazing news this year about Paypal integration of Bitcoin, LTC, ETH etc last month but after the announcement by Paypal Bitcoin have been experiencing a huge transaction lagging and ridiculous size of the mempool.

My question is there any perfect solution put in place fix this problem aside from the lightning network which i don't know much about cause Bitcoin will gain more traffic next year and if nothing is done now it may lead to some turnoff by some investors?

Institutions have always disappointed with price response when news of adoption gets to the news. The news only help adoption and has proven several times that adoption is not the most important factor in price improvement. Have always believe bitcoin can rise to any price because of FOMO in  short time but it wont be allowed until the time is right. The adoption may also determine the height of price at the bull market any way
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can IDENA price touch $1 ? on: November 06, 2020, 11:36:13 AM
i am waiting more dumping on idena , i heard market that listing idena halt deposit. i am sure if this deposit available price will dump again and it be best opportunity for us. idena have great idea in crypto market , using standard pc for mining in my opinion as breakthrough . and it have more feature that still under developtment progress. $1 was possible to hit in future if there are good exchanges support for trading liquidity.

i see the volume is very low, https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/idena/markets
and this project still new, thats why iits hard for idena to touch about $1 in the near time my friend
The possibility from present price is high, Just 10x from the present price. We are not in the altmarket and had already made 0.35 which is close to 1. IMO if the coin can add 2 more large volume exchange and improve marketing they could be there when Ethereum gets over $1000 in few more months. Anything is possible in price pump but most effort will come from the team and community, a good roadmap will bring great price also.
872  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is getting ready for 20k again on: November 05, 2020, 09:57:37 PM
Some already are buying in FOMO so personally I don't know what to think anymore because the flags are a bull run sign but the major rising in a couple of hours made me think again if this is the start of the new bull run. I guess the coming days/weeks will tells us if this rally will go on or we gonna settle around 15k$ for the next year.
Eth 2.0 news from CZ binance set the ball rolling and the sight of 15k (+5000) bitcoin in less than 4 weeks has been impressive. I think it is still following the script if the pandemic doesnt cause any more offset with new lockdown. Waiting for the baby bull run for ethereum and other altcoins when bitcoin stabilizes by the end of the year.
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH still going higher as our anticipatiion on: November 04, 2020, 03:17:11 PM
Although bitcoin has trampled on other coins with the recent ride some of the altcoin still stay above the lower resistance price for over 3 weeks, Ethereum had stayed above $350 for over 3 weeks and it is a good sign for ethereum. We hope the news of Eth 2.0 development will be instrumental to next altseason when bitcoin pump stabilizes on new high price, Defi and NFTs will have new run with next alt market.
874  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best DEX for trading? on: November 04, 2020, 03:10:58 PM

Uniswap is the most popular but only supports ETH tokens.

How many DEX are multiple blockchain? if there is, kindly name them
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC for bounty hunters on: November 04, 2020, 03:09:21 PM
We are terribly vulnerable with the release of our details in this space, most submission are unnecessary and I expect reaction to this selfish request. Bounty hunters most times hold very insignificant amount of the token released and the reward are base on the job demanded, they might not actually be an investor. Same token will start its trade on DEX where most holders information are not known. In the past few years in cryptocurrency they have not defended the request of KYC from bounty hunters and sometimes investors.
876  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Best Time to sell ? on: November 03, 2020, 02:56:18 PM
I am looking at the chart more closely lately especially the bitcoin peak value of most altcoins with respect to time of  launch of coin ,also looking at the post-bitcoin bull altcoin season . It is difficult to sell at the exact ATH of both bitcoin and altcoins, looking also peak fiat and bitcoin value respectively, which requires the proper management of greed in the bull. Average of 5x-10x in bitcoin value for altcoin can be my exit for most coin, and as we see more new coins coming into the market we are likely to see more fund going into them than old coins.
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: November 03, 2020, 02:43:27 PM
I like to stay off comparing coins but the 2 coins serve almost the same purposes, payment, transaction fee, crowdfunding, smart contract etc Ethereum has a wider range of users, more coin listed on the blockchain, higher number of exchange listing, more daily transaction with increasing communities. They have capacity for growth until they stop developments and I dont see them stopping now. CZ binance is a big factor for the BNB growth and had done a lot to involve in many aspect of the space just to exploit the profit and use case.
878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why criminals still use Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2020, 09:05:29 PM
Bitcoin also remains the most preferred coin among criminals.

And since all transactions are very easy to track, there are good opportunities for law enforcement to catch criminals with Chainalysis.

this 2 statements seem to have contrast to avoid the use of bitcoin by criminals. Bitcoin does not have the anonymity that protect criminal use like we used to believe so other coin had been adopted and I feel the anonymity is a reason why it could not be traced to criminals and why they cant be rated as the top coin used by criminals. Monero for example is put under bounty for anyone that can gain access to the coin's anonymity
879  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the crypto market saturated? on: November 02, 2020, 08:52:02 PM
Coinmarketcap shows 7574 and coingecko shows 5992, difference of 1582 is significant enough to prevent a virtual number. I know of some coin that had been delisted on coingecko after such coins were delisted on exchanges. Many coins had really gone from the space that we never noticed and some are losing the communities, trading volume and number of exchange listed. We have a lot more coin that in last 4 years and I feel it will demand more fund and investors to help most of the project to gain traction.
880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 01, 2020, 07:40:59 PM
The Everton loss is the dreams shattering for Everton to get the trophy. They had a good start but they couldn't keep them as the best team. The table is starting to look a bit straight now.
ManU and Arsenal no score till first half. Arsenal the dominant force on that period but missed to score. Don't know how things would play on second half.
This is how we know top teams, they will recover fast from such loss. Everton might likely loss more points especially with top teams now. Liverpool looks good in getting but might not have a stroll like in past year. Manchester might likely sack their coach before January considering the bad run in form since the new season begins.
