I agree with this. It's over valued. It hasn't managed to do more than 250,000 transactions a day, and with all the fees, no-one is using it in the real world. I think it's still good at least for the short term (about 1 year). Things that make Zcash continue to improve is the certainty of developers to continue to provide innovation and simplify the user.

Before 1st Aug 2017 we had a few big crashes (due to market corrections after Bitcoin soars, fear of Bitcoin split...etc). Any possible crash until the end of 2017 and why?
There was no crash actually. There was just a kind of recession of BTC's price. But it was a good sign that BTC's alive. It was also a good buying season for the others. The experts are saying that the same scenario will be happening late this year. Around October to November. But for the next few months, the direction will be upwards so nothing to worry really. Yes There is nothing to worry about. Even if the bitcoins go in the dumping phase it is not harmful for the coins. Dumping phase provides opportunity for new buyers to jump into the crypto market which ultimately results in the increase in the supporters of bitcoins. Dumping should be treated as a positive thing. If Bitcoin still increasing the price and breakout more resistance range until this weekend, Bitcoin need correction price for saturation the market and create opportunity Altcoin recovery follow the price of Bitcoin, I don't think only Bitcoin can growth and final breakdown all crypto on market as in history. Not now but maybe in the future. For now we get to be amazed as it hits ATH! Perhaps those guys were right who were calling for it to hit 5k this year.  It's amazing that before after fork and splits there are lots of issues that btc will drop down but see know it continuously increasing and will eventually pump but not this early but will soon . Meaning split doesn't affected btc at all. But it affects me since I half my btc before fork and converted it to fiat and I doubt if I'll be able to bring it back. The scenario on market in recently not easy predict as in past time, most trader are miss opportunity buying back when the price of Bitcoin flash crash to $1800 in last month, because it happening very fast and most trader not have funds for buying by bull trap a few days ago before it happening. |

Yes you are right i will also buy it more and more if its price is suddenly goes to cheap and save it for own bright future, but i think it is not possible that the price bitcoin will suddenly cheap because some expert says that the its price will not goes to again below to 3000$. Every situation can happening, don't think the price of Bitcoin in current can stable forever and growth high than $3000. You can see not have anyone in last month think the price of Bitcoin can flash crash under $2000 to $1800 in one day, this is best opportunity for buying Bitcoin if you miss buy in past time. |

For me this coin it isnt good for long term i would rather go short on this one. If you do see on the chart if you did purchase BCH on 0.06 price for sure you are making profits when the price hits up again on 0.075 as of the current price as of now. This thing would really depend on you on how you would gonna engage with Bitcoin cash.
Actually the current price is result of MLM groups and pump coins. I'm a member in this group and in past days, they said Bitcoin Cash can increasing after breakdown to 0.06 BTC. So I think with the price temporary as now shouldn't long term Bitcoin Cash because the future of this coin still not clearly. |

I think the minimum price Litecoin is going to reach before the end of the year is 60 dollars and the maximum will be 80 dollars, Litecoin like most alts is going to go up after a bitcoin rally begins, I think things are going to be slow for some time in Litecoin, probably the pump is not going to happen until October but I will watch the market more closely in the next days and weeks since I have some small holdings. Does anyone here think it will take a long time for litecoin to go up? I got a decent amount of litecoin at 50 dollars. But so far all it has done is go down to 39 dollars and then go back up but basically there is nothing going on with this coin. Would you say if it goes up, it will take a very long time for it to do that? Would you say it would be smart to just trade litecoin for another coin because of this? Although the price of Litecoin in recently down to around $40-$30, but I heared some rumor about in September Litecoin will announce they will become to altcoin for ICO as Ethereum and can create token for ICO market. So, I think we can waiting until this time for confirm right or wrong ^^. |

I bought a bitcoin and invested in a number of alt coins.
In that time my portfolio doubled in value, halved in value, bitcoin forked, and I am now just about in profit again.

The price honestly is too high but buying bitcoin is always a good choice even the price right now is high.. because there is possibility that the price can be increase more soon..
But for me better to wait more time maybe the price will decrease soon and buy even the price is below $3k if the price won't increase these week better to buy because there is high possibility that the price can be increase more..
Yes, There is no limit and it's possible for the price to go much higher. A day may come when we buy bitcoin at 10000 dollar or even higher. i think yes there is still good time to hold bitcoin for a long time, because its price is too much increasing. I agree with you hold Bitcoin in long time still good, however we should take profit when the price of Bitcoin reach to highest price, special highest price in all time as in past days. When the paper money will always have printed everyday and that gives high inflation to the country or market and that will make the price of the fiat crashed. I mean it will be worthless. Why are you confusing if there still a choice for you to use bitcoin or gold to be your primary currency. In my opinion cryptocurrency world still can distribute more supply coin as Bitcoin in recently with high value, so I think Gold is best choice for choose primary currency. Much importance is given to bitcoin cash as it got into existence from the successful bitcoin which is the leader for the entire digital currency network. I saw in some thread an user stating it to be the affordable version of bitcoin which is expected to reach similar price of bitcoin in the future.
This just is some predict about the future of Bitcoin Cash if the Bitcoin (in current) met some problem after SegWit active. Maybe if Bitcoin still can't fix issue congested the transaction in blockchain although SegWit active complete. Bitcoin Cash will become the subject for user replace Bitcoin. |

With the rise in bitcoin prices now when I made this topic has reached the price of 2769 USD, my hope can be translucent 3500 USD until the end of the year.
How do you respond about it, can or not bitcoin will reach that price?
For me its more possible to touch $3000-$3300 and have some fluctuation because now the people is in different altcoins like bitcoin cash as of now which is a big effect to the bitcoins to rise . But still we don't know crypto was too unpredictable and anything can happen if it reach that $3500 then it is much better for us. If the price of Bitcoin can't reach to this target, this is difficult circumstance for make the price of altcoin can recovery and increasing after long time drop down to base price. It is a bad idea to buy bitcoin cash when the market is not yet open for deposit. It will still be a wild ride until the deposits are open. Some bitcoin users who stashed their bitcoins on offline wallets are eager to dump their bch/bcc and are just waiting for exchanges to open their deposits for bch. There will be more bad news for op when it happens.
Haha just by not have more knowledge and good calculated make them loss, however if not have them on market, the price of Bitcoin Cash in past day can't touch to $1000 and make surprise for us. |
