861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: April 15, 2018, 06:29:35 PM
thinking positively will not help you in obtaining the Profit that you wanted but it would affect your emotional response whether you win or you lose. I don't know if it's better to think positively or just be neutral about it in my opinion it's better to be neutral so that you wouldn't expect to win and would less impact your emotional response when losing.
No doubt that positive thinking will give you an edge in gambling because positive thinking will allow you to put more focus in game unlike when you are not thinking positively. Becoming positive will change your life as you will be able to handle every situation but becoming more positive in every situation of life is also not good for you because sometimes you will make such decisions becoming positive which could be dangerous for you.
862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: April 14, 2018, 08:34:40 PM
I have witnessed many people and families become unhappy with participating in gambling. They lost the money they earned, they lost themselves, lost the trust of their loved ones, eventually became drug addicts. I advise you not to participate in gambling, first a fun habit, then it will take away all you have. Be alert to thinking of getting rich from gambling.

You would really come to a point on where you would able to suffer consequences like losing up your family or being got drug addicted due to lots of money but we know most gamblers are on opposite way which they do have negative profit instead which it will really mainly affect your entire life if you engage in gambling too much.
You have mentioned some of the very harsh realities associated with gambling. This is true in any case as gambling is one of the immoral act and immorality always leads to an unrest in the society either it is at personal level or the social level. Anyone who wants to live happily by maintaining his or her relations has a strong need to find some reliable job instead of going for gambling.
863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The way to win in gambling on: April 14, 2018, 08:13:53 PM
Ironically I don't believe skills can make you win in gambling because if you're meant for it then you don't need any of these. Gambling is just all about luck because if an individual can learn these what they called skills and strategy then he must be damn rich now but apparently these can't make you win.
Yes if gambling depends on skill, then gambler who already have good skill will always win easy and easy to rich because of gambling, but the reality is not like that is not it? very difficult even to make a profit too, it is proof that we should be lucky when gambling.

Yes, skills cannot be guarantee in order to win the game because the only fact in gambling is that its all about winning and losing but its more chances on losing. If we think that the gambling house is design to profit and not to lose, therefore winning gambling is not just by the chance in order to win since there is a tendency that all happens according to the plan by the house.
This happens, these houses are stronger in strategies that us so they design everything in such a way that we would be wasting our money for their profit. How strange it is, isn’t it? But still see the attitude of people towards this gambling thing. Although there are so hundred stories of destruction but still we are likely to go for this game and ending up with empty pocket.
There is no specific any way to win in gambling. Gambling is entirely a luck thing and if you have the guts to face some stressful situations without losing any control on your nerves then this might add to your chances of winning the bet. Otherwise there is no any use of making purposeful strategies for confirming a win at your side as this is not possible at all.
864  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to Buy bitcoins? on: April 14, 2018, 07:58:21 PM
Hi Good Day! where can i buy bitcoins? there is so many advertisement on the internet already, any suggestion where best to buy?
Thank you!

Just make an account on any exchange in your country and you can then buy bitcoins after adding money. Always read reviews of the exchange before buying.
You can buy these coins on the various sites available via the internet and the other way to earn these sort of currencies is mining but it is never reliable as it needs a continuous supply of electricity and hence sometimes the total output in terms of money is even less than the investment you have made. You can also go for the forums like this and as well as the bounty campaigns to earn some of the coins as a beginner.
865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: Culture on: April 14, 2018, 07:44:14 PM
Every country have different culture and rule.

Unfortunlately , my government really strict about gambling activity so you will see less in my country because there are many past incident that turn into bloody murder because of gambling !
The same with my country prohibiting hard gambling in whatever form and the government deliver strict rules in order to gambling did develop and anyone who do gambling means breaking the law and there will be the criminal law for the perpetrator

Gambling is good in some places but its illegal is some country. Here in our country gambling is already a culture because you can see people gambling everywhere and a lot of big casinos are being built. Gamblin is not a bad culture its just so happen that people are too greedy to earn money without thinking about how much things they risk just to make small profit.
It is not something that could be mentioned as an unfortunate event. You are perceiving things according to your own personal narrow interests but it would definitely be a blessing for you if you will inculcate the idea in your mind that such type of strict polices will lead to peace and prosperity in your society and hence the country would offer you some other ways to earn instead of gambling.
866  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: April 14, 2018, 07:39:11 PM
Eliminating paper fiat will have a measurably negative effect on economies. Paper money represents a more efficient form of transaction than electronic payment. For the poor who can't afford a cell phone or internet connection, paper money is their only hope of buying/selling. Getting rid of paper fiat makes transactions more difficult and also centralizes the currency aspect of economies which leads to monopolism. Centralizing power and influence in this way is strongly correlated with exploitation, predatory business practices and inequality.

Banning paper money will have a measurable negative effect on economic growth, unemployment, inflation, standard of living & other statistics. It will represent lost opportunity, a higher bar to entry for markets, greater difficulty in small businesses surviving and creating jobs. There's no upside or advantage in getting rid of paper money. And there are definitely many disadvantages.

really I agree with you. there is no benefit if we get rid of fiat money. fiat money will still exist everywhere as it is more efficient to use for shopping in small stores where there is no internet network or money-sucking machine. fiat money has been used for centuries is not easy to replace it with cryptocurrency and not all countries in the world agree with digital money.
The paper money could never get extinct for the economy of the world for the reason that all the legal systems do not prefer the use of digital assets for the sake of dealing with the local or international finance. I myself don’t support the eradication of fiat or the plastic money as they are a kind of standard for the monetary matters and have their own prominent value.
867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which coin do you think is best for gambling? on: April 14, 2018, 07:28:05 PM
Bitcoin is #1 for me as it is accepted in every crypto casino, which is important factor for me as I don't like stick to one casino for a long. And of course confirmation time and fees is also important.
There is nice article about the subject "Top 5 coins for gambling".

Yes, bitcoin is acceptable in almost all gambling sites. But there are times when bitcoin transactions run not as expected, that is when the confirmation comes so slowly. At such time, it would be better if we have alternative coins like doge which mostly will have a fast confirmation time, hence we can avoid such delay that sometimes can ruin our gambling momentum.
Yes that is right that most of the online casinos accept bitcoin for playing gambling, but i think that there are so many other online casino that along with bitcoin, they are also like to accept Etherium and so many other crypto currencies for playing gambling, but overall bitcoin can be consider as the best currency for playing gambling online.
Those coins that have the initial positions on the price chart are mostly supported and accepted by the casinos that offer gambling. This is because use of low valued coins s a loss for the house itself as the total earned profit is not equal to the desired amount that is to be shared amongst the players’ and the house where they are betting.
868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you love Bitcoin? on: April 13, 2018, 09:01:07 PM
The 1st think Bitcoin is the king of all crypto coin. The most popular virtual coin and of cource most valuable. People love to invest Bitcoin and they profect as well. So, I love Bitcoin.  Smiley
I love Bitcoin because it is highly liquid in many countries of the world. Besides, its decentralized nature is one of its kinds. Multiplying an invested amount several times is not impossible and people have had their investment more than doubled the last year. And yes, the idea of getting rid of government and bank controlling our money is amazing. This will give rise to the classical concept of economics. But in the end of the day, getting rid of cash is possible only in future.
869  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: April 13, 2018, 08:52:37 PM
Just don't panic and have more patient to wait. The best way to do when the value fall is to buy and buy then holding it until its price increase. Until this time the value is still falling but you don't have to panic because being panic will bring you big loss.
When prices are falling, close the door of your house to the market and wait. Actually prices fall only when the market demand for the Bitcoin decreases as a result of which the prices also decreases as the demand law says. As a result of fall in prices, slowly people start acquiring the coins and with a rise in the demand, the prices also rise. Thus those who hold their coins when the prices are low enjoy a prosperous fortune when they surge back.
870  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: job and trading together.. on: April 13, 2018, 08:22:29 PM
do not target what you will get in crypto currency because I'm so sure you'll lose it if doing that, doing the job and still doing the trading is a good thing because if you had a loss then you can cover it with what you get in your job and vice versa
Job and trading both are good ideas. If you can manage to job as well as trade in the same time, you are better off. Because a job will give you a specific amount of income you need to meet your needs, you could treat the income from trading as a side income and not relying on it. This will enable you to trade and hold Bitcoin for long. A day will come when you will have your coins sold at a price much higher than the initial prices.
871  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to Buy bitcoin? on: April 13, 2018, 07:47:02 PM
May be bitcoin will go lower soon , better to wait now what will happend in future and after decide what to buy and open new position on market.
This is a very important decision. Those who are able to decide when to buy actually are the front runners.  Back in 2009 when the prices were very very low. So those who were the sharp chaps knew that this is the time to buy. Slowly when the prices rose, the worth of their portfolio grew as well. Even if you invest now, you would be able to cash a handsome amount in the coming months.
872  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you follow trading advice from crypto influencers? on: April 13, 2018, 07:31:11 PM
Yes I believe and why wont I? iTs their business and they might know better than us or others.
Even if you do not follow their advice, you should always listen to the experts because they know about the very basics of the technology and have had their money invested in the business for long. Most often, an expert will be a person who has earned fortune in the business. In the end you should know better than an expert. Your strategies should be accordingly modified by keeping the business models of various companies and exchanges that are in the technology.
873  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: April 13, 2018, 07:23:07 PM
I just read on Btcjam blog that they are closing down: https://blog.btcjam.com/2017/05/25/btcjam-is-closing/, now I am just wondering if big players in thebitcoin industry are closing down, is there any future for bitcoin really.

I came to know about bitcoin through btcjam when i was introduced there to borrow. Eve in this forum, looks most signature campaigns might close down because of the ever rising price of bitcoin. Most of them have reduced their payout amounts for posting by more than 50%. Is this a good sign or a bad sign for the bitcoin development?
Bitcoin is recovering strongly after several consecutive days of declines, bitcoin has now rebounded to $ 8200 and there is a slight correction before continuing to increase. As far as my technical analysis, the bitcoin price will probably hit $ 9000 tomorrow, so you should invest in bitcoin right now, before the $ 9000 price bitcoin will adjust slightly down to 7600 $ and That's the right time for you to buy.
Bitcoin has a future for sure. Among all the coins in the crypto world, it is the only coin with a lot of potential hidden in it. The technology was criticized in the start and was not allowed to grow at its natural pace that is why we have just seen only few countries in the world that have legalized Bitcoin. As the technology grows, the more countries starts accepting it, the more chances for Bitcoin to replace fiat or cash and become the future currency.
874  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without knowledge on: April 13, 2018, 07:11:14 PM
Yes, it is really a bad idea without any knowledge, how can we trade because it is very difficult for us to face the situation of the market. Mainly in crypto, we need a lot of experience in order to make most, so i suggest without any knowledge better stay away from it.
For trading, you need a lot of experience. Knowledge about the market response due to a rise and fall in the prices and the behavior patterns of the investors is of prime importance. Trading without these important things simply leads you to nothing but loss. It is like visiting a strange country without taking a map. You will never be able to reach your destination and would result in wastage of time and money.
875  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade for money or emotional satisfaction? on: April 12, 2018, 05:42:18 PM
I do for both but actually experienced traders only cares about finance!, they do not have emotion in their trades like fear and enjoyment.

Only money talks.

If we all get pro, we will be less emotional for sure.
I think both. Trading for money and emotional satisfaction are both related in an ambiguous way. Trading makes you able to earn high bucks on the cost of low bucks and a little struggle. Besides, you are emotionally satisfies if you are doing good in trading and gaining. One should quest for both the possibilities. Bitcoin no doubt has the potential to make one financially strong and emotionally satisfied.
876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need an opinion on rejecting a job offer or crypto on: April 12, 2018, 05:36:59 PM
I have opportunity in overseas job around 1000 usd. but my mind now not in a stable manner.

please guide me whats the best option doing crypto currency on the home or move to the job overseas?

If you're mining crypto, then I wouldn't think twice in accepting the job. I will immediately take the job, take my mining rig with me and mine cryptocurrencies overseas. Why would I settle with just a $1000 paying job when I can always take both at the same time.
I think this is a good offer. You should go for the job and after sometime you could also think about stepping in the crypto business. Actually if you are able to do both in the same time and if you are able and can manage both, you are better off. Treat the Bitcoin business as a side business and keep it long term for it will give unanticipated returns.
877  Economy / Economics / Re: How futures on bitcoin will work? on: April 12, 2018, 05:29:07 PM
I think they will stand for a new innovation which will drag in more investors and will enhance their capability. Let's just be positive for btc growth.
The future on Bitcoin will be a very changed future. It will work in a way not witnessed by the previous generations. The technological revolution in 1990s in Europe multiplies the output several times and the threat of scarcity of food and other necessities disappeared. In the same way, this technology promises a revolution. Many people still disagree because they are in suspense due to certain factors like the volatility or the legal or illegal status. Despite all these issues, the coin will initiate a revolution.
878  Economy / Economics / Re: Stanford University Business Full-Time Cryptocurrency Course on: April 12, 2018, 05:24:40 PM
For those interested in studying crypto:

https://www.cryptocurrencyguide.org/stanford-universitys-graduate-school-of-business-full-time-cryptocurrency-course-scheduled-to-begin-next-month/

Quote
Stanford Graduate School of Business, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business are expanding classes in digital currency and blockchain, CNBC reported.

Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business is offering a full-time cryptocurrency course, and is scheduled to begin next month.

Because it is being done by the business school, it will probably focus on the ecoomics aspects, as opposed to teh technical coding aspects of cryptocurrency.

Thats a good step forward but unfortunately I am wondering why the computer field is not taking the part into this program. I mean coding is very much important aspect as compared to the economic studies for now. What I mean is simple fact, if you dont get the developments done in the crypto currencies then you dont get back the full working model for the same. Bitcoin is sensitive matter for now in terms of its scalability issues, mining difficulties and much more. All these things have to be cleared in the long run to catch good economic back bone and then whatever they study afterwards would be very interesting! I mean its really good that at leats they have started with something but for future purpose we need to fill the gaps.
Stanford university business full time cryptocurrency course is an easy and economic way to learn more about the technology and the tricks to use upon entering the market. This is like any other online course offered by edX or coursera and in my opinion; every one who thinks of going for this business should enroll in the courses. The more people know about the advantages of the technology, the more they invest and the more the prices will rise.

880  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people in the world know about bitcoin? on: April 09, 2018, 07:05:20 PM
i'm just curious if how many percentage of all the people on earth know about Bitcoin. in my country i think only 10% knows about it. post your opinion guys.

There's a lot of people now knows about what bitcoin is. Even in the television, bitcoin is one of the part of news. They are saying bitcoin is only a scam and many people experiences it. For me, I haven't experience scam before because I'm aware of those scammers.

Speaking of how many people knows bitcoin here in my country, I think 40%.
I think that this is a very lesser number. yes it is a fact that those communities where all the modern world facilities are not available at hand are not able to use these coins but as far as the globalism of the social media is concerned the awareness about crypto market is now much common than expected. So I think that around thirty percent of the population is engaged with it.
