8601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting Discussion Thread on: April 20, 2018, 12:11:29 PM
I am still at 0 points this week with 3 games played, I guess I will end with 0 points as I have bet against favourites and so far only draws and a favourite win which is the first lost at home for Bournemouth after 15 games without losing at home.

Well you're only 10 points behind almost every one else this week. I could see an upset with the Burnley / Chelsea game but don't think I'd back the home team and a draw will be more likely. Leicester game could be tricky as Southampton are facing relegation but I think Leicester will still win.

I have backed Burnley with a 2-1 win tonight and also backed Leicester to win. It is good to know that all other people only got 10 points more with the Man.Utd during this week which is nothing. There are three other weeks to recover some points and keep a position in the top five hopefully.

I wonder what would've happened if the own goal didn't happen...  A draw would have been more likely imo.

And hilariousetc, yup.  But I'm still glad it happened at this point during the Pep and Mou era.  Arsenal needs to hire someone young and brilliant now...  Tuchel would be a perfect fit imo.

Arsène Wenger will leave Arsenal at the end of the season!

LOL!  What did Wendigo say the odds were at Skysports again...?  20.0???  Jesus...  I wish some BTC sports betting site had it.  Would def bet on it.  Damn...

I guess it's Tuchel replacing him then?
8603  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 Treasure Chest Is Back! 🎰🎰🎰 on: April 19, 2018, 12:03:59 PM
With that much BTC being gambled in the site just to play dice, I feel quite good about BitDice's expansion to sports betting and poker...  Better hold on to your CSNO folks.  Wink

BTC's gambling industry is still behind...  Lots of room for improvement.

^  It's the agents bloating the market.  And the funny thing is these same agents represent some managers and players under the same agency.  Like Mou and Pogba...  They're both represented by some super agent who has clout afaik.

And I think Zaha will only become the best player he can be under Pep.
8605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting Discussion Thread on: April 19, 2018, 11:40:20 AM
^  Yup yup!  Wink  Burnley could get lucky or get a draw.  I think the +0.5 at 2.05 at Nitrogen (days ago) was good.  It's now at 1.97 the last time I checked.  It's still ok imo.

The thing is most of the people who have recently joined this forum don't deserve to rank up.  They don't know what's going on in crypto, they're not even really supporting a project with passion anymore (yes even the sh*t coins) unlike the days of old where you can see witty banter, drama, and some action in the altcoin section everyday.

Now there's just mindless, forced, droney, I don't know what you call it really...  Basically the posts are done mostly by dumb people tbh.  Sorry for being blunt about it but that's how I see it.

The trolls and sock puppets of before were waaay better.  And ironically they even gave the forum some flavor.

Recently, the XVG shows a specific upward movement. What is the reason for this? Are there any thoughts on this matter, can it grow even higher when it is worth selling it?  Cool

https://twitter.com/pornhub

Funnily enough this is probably the first and last time that it's possible to provide a link to Pornhub's Twitter to answer a crypto-related question.

 Grin

There's also pornhub.com/crypto

I don't understand why the price is dipping so hard.
Mindgeek is an extrodinary partner, and from what I'm seeing so far, I suspect they might start a joint marketing campaign.

Lol.  Grin

The traders who bought low are dumping, so we are seeing coins changing hands now.  Check the chart and see that a sh*t ton of Verge was dumped on all those people who bought the 'good news'.

Expect some newly christened Vergeans to hype this coin all over the altcoin section in an attempt to recover some of their losses.

Is there an easy way to convert back to BTC from Skrill and Neteller money?
Yes there is. I am using Bitpanda and the fees are OK in my opinion. You could possibly get better rates going p2p but the risk of getting scammed is greater also.

I don't like Nitrogen odds that much to be honest, and they are slow as a snail when grading finished games. Are you sure Nitrogen really has better odds than Pinnacle? I usually compare the odds to Bet365 and they are the best in town for me.

No, Pinnacle has better odds but the difference isn't really that much (sometimes) unless you plan on betting thousands of USD worth of BTC.  If so then every pip matters.

Trading p2p is a no no for me even with escrow...  Too much of a hassle.
8610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 18, 2018, 02:41:04 PM
^  It really depends on how the player performs after the fact.  If say Sadio Mane didn't perform well for his 35m GBP(?) price tag then LFC would have to sell him again for less, making him 'overpriced'.  But judging from his performance now, LFC could sell him for around 2.5 more than his buying price making him a 'bargain' when compared to the price they bought him.
8611  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitro randomly locking accounts on: April 18, 2018, 02:36:10 PM
Game Protect has NitrogenSports on the Qualify free list and we never received any complaint.

So if you sign up directly as a single fighter, the problem is maybe you?

As a service provider I find it odd to take a shot at some one with a issue. The whole point of this thread is to force Nitro to actually show me evidence that I cheated so I can make a argument or not. If you do even a google with bitcointalk, you will come across others with similar issues. Some valid some not, I am not one to say.

This is really only a aspect that effects poker players anyways, so those effected will be a lot slimmer since Nitro does not have any sort of bonuses that I can see for initial whoring.

I'd be skeptical about these untrusted users in the forum trying to give negative feedback about a service.  I have been using Nitrogen for years and never had a problem.

I think what Hobo needs to do is to be constructive about it and try to prove that he wasn't part of a multi accounting ring.  I think this sh*t has been going on for years and it's good to see Nitrogen try to do something about it.  But they're not perfect.  There will be casualties.

I am attempting to have a discussion on this topic for sure but I am waiting on Nitro to present evidence of their claim before I can make any sort of rebuttal to a claim other than they stickied the rules and left me to figure this out.
Lets not forget that I received no alert to the issue other than my password not working. You can argue the merits of not alerting potential cheats but what about those caught in crossfire?
Nitro for sure has a issue with cheating and its pretty much the reason I played in a paid tourney other than sit on the .01/.02 to get caught up in overinflated pots from a guy with 2-3 accounts at the table. No issue with them cracking down on cheats but I think they need to provide evidence of such things to the people they are locking out and stripping their funds from.

So its really up to Nitro now to present the case, which now seems to have backed off with my last response.
its turned from close case to a review only because I did not leave with my tail tucked between my legs. That alarms me even more knowing that some people would just take Nitros claims as is and move on.

This is the thread if you want to add evidence or sway opinion. Think enough folks have been mislabeled as cheats by nitro.

As for my account sure, do not trust me because I say these things about Nitro. Look at how they handle this issue with me and look at how they have dealt with others by doing a look around the net. Its a chance for them to present a solid case against me or to show they are inept and made a mistake. Think everyone can tell where I stand on the argument. Grin

Also the account number related to this issue that you are seeing was created to interact with support through a ticket and not the actual account. Not that it matters much but just being clear.

My reply isn't an attack against you in any way.  I'm just saying we should try to be as objective about the issue as much as possible.  I'm sure Nitrogen isn't happy about it either.  I mean c'mon...  It's not good business practice to lock accounts just because they want to.  Lol.

And their fraud detection squad could not be as good effective.

Iiiinteresting...  Can anyone guess which lucky cryptos get in on their trading desk besides the usual suspects, BTC, ETH, XRP (and maybe LTC)?

I think company backed cryptocurrencies are the most likely ones like XLM and XZC.

After letting Coutinho go to Barcelona I am not sure Klopp would let another star striker leave the club when Liverpool are doing well in the Premier League and the Champions League. If Klopp wants to improve the team and keep the good results coming he must retain Salah at the club  Wink
IMO, if Klopps wants to improve the squad for next year then the club needs to make an invesment and buy a few more quality players. If Liverpool receives a massive offer for Salah (let's say €150m), and the egyptian decides to leave, that's money that can help the club build a stronger team. But tbh, I doubt Salah would leave the club after a single year.

According to The Guardian, Man City is willing to pay 50m for the winger Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace) [1]. IMO, overrated player.

1. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/apr/16/football-transfer-rumours-wilfried-zaha-manchester-city

Overrated how?  Overpriced maybe...?  It's the market bloating the prices on transfers.  And since Pep really knows what he wants, he'd be willing to acquire a player at any cost.  He's lucky to have full support of the club behind him.  I don't think his transfer moves on Bravo and then getting Ederson a year later will fly with other clubs like Chelsea or United.

Slightly off-topic but I think this will be beneficial for Bitcoin punters who would like to bet on fiat books too. You could get yourselves a Skrill or Neteller account which also offer virtual and physical pre-paid cards and are gambling-friendly. There are convenient options available for you to convert between crypto and these online payment solutions. Just throwing this out there if there are people looking to bet with fiat via Bitcoins.

If you regularly get way better odds then sure...  But Nitrogen's odds are mostly good enough compared to Pinnacle.  And I wouldn't hold fiat at this point.  BTC and some alts look like they're gonna pump soon.  I'd rather hold all my crypto BR in crypto right now.

Is there an easy way to convert back to BTC from Skrill and Neteller money?

An English bookmaker has priced Antonio Conte to be the next manager to leave at 5/6 odds which corresponds to 1.83 decimal. Arsene Wenger is at 20/1.

Wait...  So 'Wenger sacked or leaves' is 20.0?  Aawww those poor Arsenal fans.  If Wenger doesn't leave it'll be another sh*t season for them for 2018/19.

But I really do think he'll leave.  Does your English bookmaker accept BTC?  Grin

Edit:  And City winning the league this year is so underwhelming.

Check out Skybet. The prop bets are under 'Football' -> 'Specials'. There are bets for Next Permanent Chelsea/Arsenal Manager and Next Premier League Manager To Leave. About them using Bitcoin, I think they unfortunately don't.

Skybet don't accept bitcoin. Just the usual cash via Paypal or bank transfer etc. In fact I don't think any major/mainstream English bookie accepts bitcoin.

I can't see Wenger ever leaving as he's practically become an institution there now but it's well overdue. The trouble is, is whoever they get they probably won't do any better than him so that's why he stays. They'll get a new manager eventually, do even worse, then comes the changing of the manger every season that happens to every club that loses a long-time gaffer. Without throwing hundreds of millions to revitalise the squad nothing much will change either.

Those poor Arsenal fans...  Cheesy

Hey guys...  What's your opinion on Zidane's options at the end of the season.  He leaving Real on his own terms or will he stay...  And even maybe given the sack?  I know the 'news' say he's staying but what do you guys, as fans, feel is gonna happen?

I'd rather hear out the fans' intuition than the rumors.  Thanks...

^  Even if that means finishing outside the top 4 as long as he's around...?  Grin

I think he has to go, for the sake of the fans and the club itself.  And on the business side of things, no CL football would be so bad for a club like Arsenal.

I still got my hopes up for Tuchel.

What if Wenger wins the Europa League though, that’d qualify Arsenal for next season’s CL which I guess was their objective at the start of the season.

Wenger always seems to find a way to get more time Smiley

Lol.  Actually, a part of me hopes he stays for a looong time for our entertainment.  Cheesy

Bayern Munich agree for Lewandowski transfer but for 200mln euro
I dont think will be club what will like to pay that money for31 years old player

So I looked up Lewondoski.  He's actually 29 and his price tag is far from the 200m Euro you're talking about.  So you're prolly trolling or been reading the tabloids again.

And next time please post the source of your sketchy news.
