8601  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex Or Bittrex? on: June 28, 2017, 06:11:00 AM
Due to bittrex staying for a long time it have been a trusted trading site.
But I will still pick poloniex for its better looks and a user friendly website.
While some alts are having a hard time to be added in the bittrex website, somehow poloniex is accepting them.
Thanks to this we could also trade with our choice of altcoins.
8602  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term argument for bitcoin on: June 27, 2017, 07:34:31 PM
Hello,

Most of you are confident with the long term for Bitcoin. Yet some altcoins has the same features so why are you so confident about bitcoin and not about litecoin instead?

I compared them and approximatevily the same assets!
The only difference is that bitcoin was the first, is it that important?

Popularity and trust. Investors go to the most trusted quickly so value will grow.
I have this own opinion that when something ages trust grows with it.
Well, even peopl without much knowledge with the crypto currency would surely fall with bitcoin even if they were introduced with an altcoin.
It is like the USD in the crypto world. They want to always compare the price with bitcoin and that says it all.
8603  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: June 27, 2017, 06:10:58 PM
Many people are now curious to know what bitcoin is, whereas once bitcoin was just underestimated, now upside down many people stop working instead they prefer to focus on bitcoin

Is this the impact of rising bitcoin prices?
To begin with, you should review the last day's industry activity so you understand what the industry sentiment was and how investors could possibly be feeling now. It is quite much influential on economy. Additionally it is advisable to check around at the local coin or pawn shops to see whether they can provide a better price than the online choices.

A pawn shop? For bitcoin? Curiousity attacks again.  Wink
Though I agree with looking for more information regarding how investors are feeling.

With the rise of bitcoin in its price. It aint really investing that is being targeted now, it is more like earning it in a free way or maybe using a little capital then doubling or maybe triple it with other services. But it aint that easy, and that coild be the reason they will focus on it.
But I wont suggest stopping the day job. Keep it while you are having bitcoin at the other side.
8604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin savings account? on: June 27, 2017, 03:14:49 PM
I think he is looking for a bank using his bitcoin as a means of money just like how fiat is.
Why not think of bitcoin like a commodity then maybe that will change your perspective to what bitcoin really is.
I dont think there would be one company that would make a savings account. This are already done by the wallet websites.
8605  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: June 27, 2017, 09:26:21 AM
Yeah that is a good idea to trade your btc to eth now. I know Eth has a potential like the potential of the btc. I know the Eth and the Btc will recover their price in this month.
It's never a good idea to exchange your precious Bitcoins to something so hyped and manipulative as Ethereum.

If you look at what has been the reason for its price to go up big time, it's important to point out that the majority of the circulating coins are in control of a small number of entities.

Another aspect that heavily contributes towards lowering the number of coins in circulation, are the ICOs that have gone completely nuts ~ this can't last endlessly.

Just looking at how ETH gets low with its price tells it all.
It is like something is pulling it up then down again.
Who are the people gaining from this coin. Maybe just them. Not the ones who are holding low amounts of it or even average.
I would rather hold bitcoin rather than any other coins which you cant forecast to where it will go and it goes way too much like there will be no ROI left.
8606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: June 27, 2017, 05:11:27 AM
Hi guys Smiley May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future? Do you plan to keep on investing on Bitcoin related businesses or do plan to convert it into fiat and ventures on new business?

I'm planning to invest more on Bitcoin related companies and convert some of my Bitcoin into fiat and invest it on our local stock market. How about you?

A portion of the bitcoin will be invested and I use it for trading some of it I will use for business capital.

My plan for my bitcoin is to save some of it for long term investment and some is cash-out and some is to brought some alt-coin like etherium and hold it for a long time or the price is right to convert.

Just letting it be.
That is good. If we do this holding thing we can create a big impact with the demands.
Where would they get the coins if all are on hold.
There will be a great price increase for many people would like to be a part of it.
Same with my decision. Dont want to spend it for now.
8607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin implants? on: June 26, 2017, 09:18:04 PM
Implants. Hmmm i think you watch a lot of movies and tgat would be? "In Time"?
Scanning their arms to buy coffee for their time.

But this would be great and also scary.
Maybe that is why we are still on the paper money world because of things that might happen if all are just in one chip.
Can be easily robbed with just a scan and other hacking devices that could detect your chip.
This needs a lot of security first before going to the next level.
8608  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: June 26, 2017, 06:20:27 PM

Trying to teach people about the blockchain and the value of a real trust based system.

I have taught all my colleagues about BTC and its advantages over the fiat. Many of them got interested and invested in BTC now which already got them into profit. Some colleagues who didnt invest at that time are regretting right now and just watching us make more profit.  Smiley

It will all be just envy which is left for those who didn't listen.
Same with my friends who are now asking how I do it.
I gave them the details before but they didnt listen just because it is still at small value.
But now, with this large price I am profiting a lot and they can see it. All they have is regret to not pursue what I have given them before.
8609  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: June 26, 2017, 05:32:54 PM
You wont be seeing this large amount of price if it aint for those holders that you are calling "dumb".
You are profiting thanks to them.
Starting something like this wont get them to sell it. This people are strong enough to hold it for a long time.
Patience. They have that. Do you think they wont have patience for you?  Grin
8610  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: June 26, 2017, 03:33:33 PM
Bitcoin is a breakthrough in the field of economy that makes its users have freedom but has a security in investing it, so I think it is very profitable for all circles, let alone we can control it from anywhere as long as we have a good network intrnet, and I hope the future more and more Investors who want to invest his money in bitcoin so as to provide opportunities for people in the bottom can feel the same welfare as people who do have an economy above average

That should be how we view it. If we want our loved coins that are piled up in our storage to grow then, pulling more investors will be the key to making it more valuable.
Creating fake news or panic threads will just take it back down. This should be changed.

It is a free coin but it wont be that far to make it imprisoned when the government comes in seeing a lot of profit can be taken.
8611  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will be back in $1,000 ? on: June 26, 2017, 01:21:43 PM

Again, another panic with just a $100 - 300 lost. That is not new.
You are already a full member and you should know that.
Patience will most likely help you. Dont cause more panic to others by making this kind of threads that might be read by new investors also.
Simply wait for it to recover like it always did.
8612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: June 26, 2017, 10:11:08 AM
bitcoin is not supported in some countries because its a way to minimize or prevent others from illicit activities

and for other security conscious countries i think its a counterterrorism strategy thats why they have it banned

Somehow that is right.
They might have learned that it could be a culprit for an easy access with arms dealing and maybe illegal drugs too. This two can make real heavy amount of money and are easy way to be sold.
Terrorist group would be most likely turn into bitcoin seeing a hard way for the government to trace them.
8613  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice Signature Giveaway! 50 users win 0.001BTC! 🔶 on: June 26, 2017, 06:48:30 AM
I got twice the tip just like that? Shocked  Grin
Really appreciate this kind of giveaway. Thank you.
I hope many users will be attracted now seeing how good a giveaway could be just by rolling their UserID's.
8614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: June 25, 2017, 03:19:34 PM
There is two kind of people one is legal these people using bitcoin for trading and selling services for the exchange of bitcoin and export and import business another category converting black money to white money, gambling etc.it depends on people why they prefer bitcoin

Might be true.
We have our own different version of why we choose bitcoin over fiat.
Of all the reason you told none of them fits my own choice.
This is just investment for me. I am thinking big in the future for it might come to an end where demands are going big and each person wants to have bitcoin in their hands.
I think many of the users here will agree. It is a good investment.
8615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: June 25, 2017, 02:27:41 PM
I do not have any strategy in the dice game, I bet and let my instincts take me and just rely on luck to win. So I think strategy is not needed in dice games, most importantly you do not get greedy in gambling.

That should be how we think about dice.
There is no such thing as strategy in this game. It is just pure luck. The house is only the one who can control this.
Perhaps, own control will work when you are in the brink of losing it all or you are already a winner. When you know how to stop then that is wise gambling.
I thought also when I am playing dice that there is such thing as a strategy but there is none.
8616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: June 25, 2017, 10:35:57 AM
Bitcoin is so useful today not only in purchasing but also in earning for your future Smiley

I agree with it being useful for the future earnings but not with the purchasing type.
Havent tried it yet and havent seen one who would really accept it for payment.
Seems like merchants here in our country are still doubting what bitcoin can do with their businesses.
So I guess I will have to wait for that.
8617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: June 25, 2017, 08:54:40 AM
It may be how a person think of it.
Am I making a sin while I gamble.
If he is doing it the wrong way then it could be a sin.
It will all come to an end to how you will control it. Am I just having fun or am I already eaten by gambling that I cant get out of it.
Or cannot live a day anymore without doing one bet.
8618  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is... surprisingly stable today? on: June 24, 2017, 11:51:15 AM
There will always be stability in bitcoin price. Even before there will be a time to calm down.
It is a good thing for those who want to withdraw and not present yesterday. They will still have a chance to make a move.
Not so good for traders like this kind. Perhaps a rest will be good for now.
A day off is not that bad.
8619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: June 24, 2017, 10:50:23 AM
I beg to differ with those suggesting that experience doesn't matter gambling. Gambling is to a large extend due to luck. But without experience, the lick that you have can disappear in a twinkle of an eye. You can have luck and win but if you don't know when to exit, you will be tempted to continue so that you win more. This is when you will come head on with the losing streak and lose everything.
And that is why we have lots of experienced gamblers who know when to quit game(sarcasm)

Lets take one example.
Your bankroll is 0.1BTC and you want to play slots for example.
You hit something nice, lets say you win another 0.1BTC.

Now, you saying if you withdraw that you will withdraw this because you have experience?

Well most unexperienced gamblers wouldn't and continue to bet with their entire winnings. Excitement would be too much that sometimes they'd forget the odds are very small. Now experienced gamblers would know better. They'd either withdraw their capital and play woth their winnings or simply play with a portion of what they won. Your experience would make you avoid mistakes because of excitement or anxiety
An experience gambler will know when to quit when everything is not adding up, and that's how their instinct tell them to stop before they lose more. Of course if you are the experienced player you will know that this is not your day even if you say you were winning in the start but at the end you seem to began the losing streak. That's how the experienced gambler know how to control their self and know when to stop it they began to lose more.

And that is where experience comes in. Without it there would be no stopping until everything is lost.
One example is a newbie who didn't have the beginners luck and just happen to gamble at his first time. He lose all the funds he have while the other experienced person still have some to play again tomorrow and would try if he have luck that day.
8620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: June 24, 2017, 07:13:37 AM
if i can use it , then everybody can use it.
and i am not the smartest one.

but to make transactions more easier, there should be bitcoin cards and POS machines accepting bitcoin cards, just like debit cards.

That is not just the way to make it easier.
Smartphone are user friendly now, even old people does know how to use it with just a little help from young ones.
Through smartphone they can make transactions and it is much easier than looking for a machine where you can withdraw or a card to swipe it.
In a few more years, it will be better and more ordinary citizens can make a use of bitcoin whenever they want to.
