Drop down ALF, MEC, ANC, and GDC -
Drop ANC?? Are you mad? It's a goldmine when the difficulty drops and far and away the most profitable coin on the pool. Oops, I meant MNC, my bad

Ok, so I've been keeping an eye on the charts for a little while here. My suggestions:
Drop down ALF, MEC, ANC, and GDC - They are consistently underperforming compared to the other ones we've been hopping on, at least from the info I can see

DMD is coming up a lot. Ditch that one, I think. Seems like it's hit or miss on that one, and the hits aren't that great

NVC is the 2nd coin at price. 3rd LTC
CPR is worth more for 1 full coin

|

The copper bars will be back up tonight since the price on CPR has calmed down. I'll post again in this thread when they are back up and available
Thanks for your patience

Redcoin (RED) is now accepted for Gold, Silver, and Copper on iGotSpots.com Thanks again everyone for your support and business! thought you didn't like premined coins? I don't like premines, but Spots was added to his gambling site over at coinjack.com, so it's only fair that I return the favor. Plus the guy has been cool as hell with me, so that helps score points in my book

Nope. Never have, never will. More money to be made legitimately

Some coins are worthless to mine, regardless of calculations picking them the most profitable. Take a look at this example: Round Coin Length My Est. Earnings 576 CGB 00:14:35 0.000253 BTC 575 KGC 00:41:44 0.000107 BTC 574 GLD 00:08:03 0.00011 BTC
An 8 minute GLD round provided the same earning as a 42 min KGC round. CGB was much better than KGC, only for 14 minutes. While mining KGC, the pool reported 160 - 200 Kh, while I was pointing 870 at it. Cgminer reported lots of stales and rejects. Edit: you can see below what happens on my side, now that the pool is mining KrugerCoin again Please black list some coins and don't switch to them, regardless of what calculations tell you (except if the gains appear MUCH higher). This is the kind of post they need to make those decisions. Thanks for bringing it up since I'm also mining here and want as high of a profit as I can

I found a lot of mixed opinion as well so I decided to play about and try them. I couldn't find any observable difference.
I'm not sure if I'm getting a reasonably high number of stales (8-9%) or not for the coins we are mining here as I know most of the coins being mined do have a higher number of stales/rejects than other alts. I do have no submit stale enabled in my conf and rejects are only 1%, I'm just wondering what other people are getting and if my results are considered normal. My stale rate on the site appears to be about double of what the pool as a whole shows and doesn't correspond with what my miner says. I'm guessing that it is glitch on the site that needs to be looked at. It's hard to get exact numbers with the site changing coins every 8 minutes. Some shit coins can have massive stale rates. On the odd occasion that the site stays with a decent coin like CGB for 20 odd minutes my stale rate appears to come way down. I think the frequent changes gives false stale rates. If miners set --no-submit-stale then the site never sees them and the stats are less. It has no effect beyond that. Not entirely true. Some pools still pay you for stale shares, so I suggest always submitting them. Depends which system the pool is using, obviously. Can't say if this one does or not, but as a general rule of thumb, about a month ago I stopped putting the no-submit-stale into my bat

Sigh. The market cap for LTC is $56 MILLION. Do you think that fontas and his cronies really hold a significant portion of the coins in circulation? Sure, maybe he was able to influence the price of smaller coins, but LTC - absolutely not.
You highly underestimate some of the big fish. Most of them are silent, unlike fontas

What's going on with the price on SPT ?
It dropped when the multipools were hitting it. Pretty sure they realized that it's not profitable to mine on with our fast diff retargeting. Their miners were getting disconnected from the pool from switching too fast to to many coins because they'd get two blocks and have to switch again. I don't think people realize this, though, and keep selling low. I've seen it pumped several times, recently, though into the high 3's. Timing is everything. I have a feeling someone is going to pump it hard soon, though. No walls on the sell side Currently it's only a couple BTC worth up for selling and you can quadruple the price up into the 4's Buy it up :-) I'd like to, but I don't support members of a coin's team doing artificial inflation on their coin's price. There is one popular coin doing it right now with investor's money and I find it very shady and dishonest. But that's just me I still buy them, though. I just don't pump it. The price is for the market to decide
