8662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Games that everybody likes on: December 07, 2019, 01:31:38 PM
Poker - even before the days of crypto, I already know how to play this game.

Sportsbetting - good for sportspeople that love to watch games and bet on the games they like such as basketball, boxing, soccer, MMA, etc.

Dice - good for pastime.

8663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 07, 2019, 10:13:25 AM
I didn't expect that the Golden State Warriors still manage the road win against Chicago Bulls. Golden State Warriors should stop winning if they really want to get the no.1 Draft next year.

Being in the lowest rank in the league does not guarantee them the no.1 pick next season. Also their revenue and their legacy will be at risk if they intentionally loss their games.
It was a close match so whatever the intentions they have or taking the no. 1 draft.

I don't think that it's on their mind while playing the match awhile ago.
8664  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which coffee better? on: December 07, 2019, 09:07:50 AM
I don't think usually coffee but I have a sister that drinks around 4-5 cups per day before. Note that she's still young, a teenager.

She was found with UTI, the moral lesson. Don't drink too much of it even you're a coffee lover with the variant of yours.

But how can you say that UTI was related to the a lot of cups of coffee she was drinking?
I think that this disease has to do with the urinary system, so it can be caused from a lot of variables.
That's what the doctor said after interviewing her, she doesn't drink other drinks other than water and coffee.

The doctor pointed out that it's the one that contributed most. I pity her but she has learned the lesson the hard way.

8666  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Vs Cryptocurrency, which would you choose? on: December 07, 2019, 07:43:00 AM
Both side has their opinion to express so there's no side that is wrong unless it's harming the other side. I'm for both sides, I'm a crypto enthusiast and visioning that it will go far to the point that people will regret that they never get in while it's early.

And for the fiat side, it's a gov't backed up so you have to understand that you can't stop it easily.
8667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sale my old bike and buy bitcoin, what do you think? on: December 07, 2019, 06:44:33 AM
Many aren't expert in trading here and chose to hold until they see the price goes up. Basically what you did is correct IMO as long as you don't need that bike anymore and it's just consuming space on your house then it's good for selling.

But if you were forced to do that and your precious bike was the sacrifice, it would be your conscience. About giving you good profits, we don't know but the majority here is waiting for that bull run on 2020-2021.
8668  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Bitcoin going to reach $5k per coin mark in the upcoming months? on: December 06, 2019, 10:46:15 AM
If you are for the cheaper price of bitcoin, you should have looked and done that when it has bottomed to $6,400. As we approach to the scheduled halving of bitcoin in May 2020. I don't think that we can see it go down by $6,400.

The possibility is there but I don't want to be negative on that thing because I'm bullish.
8669  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anyone here who listens to Hillsong? on: December 06, 2019, 09:58:56 AM
I used to listen to Hillsong United songs. But as pointed out by Ucy, they are becoming more of worldly song than Christian music.

But if you're looking for other praising songs that can lift your spirit up. Try searching for the songs of "Don Francisco". He's one of the oldest gospel singer and composer.

Like, "Prodigal's song" This song is very touchy for me. It touches my heart and soul.
8670  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite Apple and how do you eat it? on: December 06, 2019, 06:36:08 AM
I have voted for "Fuji" and "cut into slices".

That's how I eat and my favorite type of Apple. I have tasted gala but I don't like the taste it. The other types of Apple of the poll, I haven't tasted them yet because Fuji is the native in my country but would love to try them if I've found one.
8671  Other / Off-topic / Re: Take care of your health on: December 04, 2019, 05:00:46 PM
"Health is wealth" remember that.

Wherever you go, work or travel always bring your bottled water. Because it will help you for so many occasions, whether you are hungry as long as you have water while doing your tasks, you can survive temporarily. Avoid working too much, we're not getting any younger. I know for family people, you have to work that much even overnight or overtime but please, take care of yourselves.
8672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: December 04, 2019, 04:10:58 PM
[DOTA 2] My pick today for CIS DreamLeague qualifiers:

Gambit Esports - Natus Vincere: BETSLIP

Match is BO3, those teams are pretty even, so i expect 3 map fight, hopefully 2-1 for NaVi, they beat VP 2-0 in the group stage.

I'll add some more Dota DL bets later!
Congratulations, your pick is perfect. 2-1 truly is the stats for this match. NaVi won while sending Gambit Esports to the minor @ 4th place for this closed qualifier.

Go at NA closed qualifiers.

NiP, EG and Flying Pandas will fight for the one remaining slot. Although FP has the advantage, they are waiting for the winner of NiP vs EG.

8675  Other / Off-topic / Re: I bought my 10 year daughter a Ledger Nano S, not sure if it's the right move. on: December 02, 2019, 04:37:56 PM
IMO, although it looks early for you to teach your daughter about bitcoin/crypto stuff but teaching her at a young age will mold her as she grows older. Investing at the right time and as early as 10, I think will already teach her how to be disciplined when it comes to money and investment matters.

For your concern with ledger, go contact them on --> https://www.reddit.com/r/ledgerwallet/

Post your problem there.
8676  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you spend money on online game items on: December 02, 2019, 01:46:08 PM
I've always been a gamer and I used to spend money for my in-game items. And during those times, I'm unemployed and dependent to my parents and now that I'm employed, I can purchase every item that I want.

But now that I'm a family man, this is no longer a priority to me but I have games that are my type to purchase on steam.  Grin
8677  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to buy 1 bitcoin on: December 02, 2019, 12:20:39 PM
Question is: Where and HOW securely to buy bitcoin for fiat money - from credit card, paypal, another payment systems? All I know need to pass KYC - but maybe exist some one, which doesn't?
Avoid PayPal payments because they are reversible.

The other option you have is to buy through localbitcoins.

For credit card, use Binance but take note of the fee --> https://www.binance.com/en/support/articles/360022498052
8678  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it college worth it? on: December 02, 2019, 11:34:32 AM
That question really made me think haha (i'm a college student). In my country, the university is free and I think it is still better to attend it than not. But when answering your question I'd say that id still go to school, because if you make a lot of money fast without knowledge you will end up loosing it.
You guys in your country are lucky for having free education. Unlike other countries, education on college isn't free and they can only afford it through loans which they'll pay once they are employed after graduation.

Advising people to invest after graduation would be a better choice than choose them to gamble when they are not even sure of what they'll be investing.
8679  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to buy 1 bitcoin on: December 02, 2019, 07:23:06 AM
I think I'm confusing you.  I got $1000 from my bank account and put into bitcoin using coinbase pro.  Now I want to put in whatever is leftover to own a whole bitcoin not just $1000 worth.
Then deposit it again on coinbase to buy the current price of bitcoin and I've got a warning to you.

Avoid people that will offer you to 'multiply' that amount you've got to obtain 1 bitcoin. Because of the desire you have right now to make it at least 1 bitcoin, you might be greedy and listen to them.

Avoid those strangers that might come to you.

I hope some of sportsbook will add some of eSport games from SEA games 2019.
I would love to know if you already saw a sportsbook that has eSports games from SEA GAMES 2019.
I've seen none so far.

It's less than a week and I think if you'll suggest this to a sports book, they might include it.
