The last payment was 1 hour ago: click. That's fishy.
Payouts are still being sent.
Haven't seen a payment in a while. I am constantly checking out the 1ponzi address.
EDIT: Nvm. You are right Wink

It's real. Check out this thread. They have been posting multiple screenshots proving that it works. Is it that hard to do a simple search?

Will there be a new release of Cudaminer compiled and updated in the first post before Maxcoin launches this afternoon?

EDIT: For Windows.
Yes. Half an hour before the release of the coin itself. So 7PM GMT.

EDIT: That's what OP said and I understood.

A "12 old Twitter account" has twits from 2011 announcing the creation of Solid Colin.

I just posted a screenshot proving that it's real Wink No worries dude.

I just asked RealSolid:

So yes, it's going to be added on McxNow

I added an ad to my website. It was an easy process, well done. I will keep my minimum price at 0.001 for now (even after beta).

Lazy miners?
8692  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Problems with lockmycoins.bitcoininformation.info on: February 05, 2014, 06:25:41 PM
Hello yakuza699,

I created LockMyCoins, but I sadly don't have a lot of experience with the Bitcoin Protocol. I have searched around a bit and I can't find a reason why it doesn't work. Are your sure that your input address matches your input private key? Did you try the resign button? All the source codes are from brainwallet, so I am sure that it works as it should, because I haven't touched the code itself. Just added a few extra lines of codes which enables the use of lock_time.

Kind Regards,
Mitchell.

EDIT: I will disable the creation of a transaction in the near future. I am currently redoing this project with more information, increased usability and a user friendly interface.
8693  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stolen Coins Right After Getting Vanity Address on: February 05, 2014, 06:12:10 PM
Sorry to hear your loss.
You should have downloaded Vanitygen and run it offline instead.
This. There are ways to safely generate a Vanity address, one being doing it yourself or buying an address from a vanitygen  pool which uses Privkey and Pubkey. However using a vanitygen pool will cost you a bit (click)

I don't trust these vanity address creaters or paper wallets. Do everything like this offline and only start with a small bit of funds being sent.

I am not sure about other programs, but vanitygen is open-source and you can get the source here.
https://github.com/samr7/vanitygen
Vanitygen is safe and has been around for a while now.
8694  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitly for Bitcoin? on: February 05, 2014, 05:03:26 PM
Well, creating a service which saves an address with a custom address isn't hard. The problem would be that wallets, websites and stuff like that wouldn't know what to do with that custom address. You would either have to convert it back to the original address or they would have to do a API call to the service to get the original address. It's do-able, that's for sure.

To be honest, I already have a project like this laying around. I might continue with that after my current project (redoing LockMyBitcoins).

hard drive is probably fine, plug into external usb or sata adapter on another computer.

something like this:
http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/60-pcs-usb-2-0-to-sata-ide-2-5-3-5-hard-drive/121893952.html

That is exactly what I recommended when he contacted me in a PM Grin

The gem-system is similar : you take control of a gem for an amount and wait for someone else to take control after you to get back your money with interest.
I think that is the best description of this website.
8697  Economy / Speculation / Re: Goat's speculation thread (currently HODL) on: February 05, 2014, 01:07:04 PM
Does BitSimple support European countries? It looks like an exchange I would use, but if they don't support Europe, well, then it's useless to me.

I agree with your speculation. I'm HODL'ing my coins like a BDSM couple strangling each other.

Nope US only, very annoying.
Dang. Thanks dude.
8698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Water spill on laptop containing bitcoins on: February 05, 2014, 11:49:39 AM
You should have let the laptop dry. You most likely killed it, because you forced it to turn on, twice. This would have caused even more electircal damage.

The only thing you can do to safe your coins is removing the hard drive and plugging it in somewhere else. That way you can access your coins and make a backup.

are you in on this too bitcoinniformation??  anyways as always i bet too much, should have let the .01 ride.
No, not at all. I wouldn't setup something like this. I earn my money with web development. Not by cheating people out of their BTC.
EDIT: I haven't designed/created this website. Just to be clear.
