8701  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏈7 Days Of Super Bowl at Nitrogen Sports 🏈safe. anonymous. future of betting. on: February 03, 2019, 12:36:14 AM
Seems like some nice promotions just in time for the super bowl. Smiley
I think I will be going for the winning team and the final score.
I never seem to win my bets when I pick a tie in regulation. Embarrassed
Nitrogensports doesn't allow you to pick draw/tie in nfl. They only have moneylines, totals and the spread. If it goes to overtime your bets will continue until someone wins.

Cause I really cant see it going into overtime.
I wouldn't count this one out after the last match of these 2 nfl teams went in to overtime. Plus it would be great to get a piece of the 10 BTC prizepool.
Cool to know. Thanks for the response because now it is more clear to me about these promotions they are running.
Do you know the odds for each team are on nitrogensports?
I am on another sportsbook and want to know what they are before tomorrow so I can choose which site to bet on the game.
8702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / This guy says crypto ruined his life but he spent it on a high risk lifestyle on: February 03, 2019, 12:31:52 AM
He said he bought $60k worth of crypto at the all time high and spent it on expensive items and some questionable things if you read it on his reddit post below.
https://www.reddit.com/comments/amctmr

I dont know if I believe him but I can see it happening when the hype was there back in december 2017.
Crypto can be addictive and can buy things more easier then if it were real money because of its high volatility.

Excerpt from the post
"I got into cryptocurrency Jan 2017 with about $60k (invest over the period of Jan-March). By December I had over $1.6MM, while having pulled out 400k in '17 and another 300k in '18. Basically, after paying/setting aside for taxes and the crash, I had about 480k and 150k left in crypto, as well as having recouped my initial investment.

So, what does a 27 year old guy do, you might ask? I spent March '18 to August '18 traveling the world and blowing cash like a mad man. I didn't buy many material things (besides some clothes, random shit around the house that I needed, etc.), I spent it all on experiences. Traveled to over 25 countries, stayed in nice hotels, ate at the worlds finest restaurants (literally)... and... got addicted to hookers.

So I've had sex with maybe over 100 escorts. High class ones, famous porn stars, and one street walker who caught me off guard at a bar while I was hammered. I've made over 15 pornos (two with VERY famous porn stars), maybe spending a total of 140k on hookers in '18. It was AMAZING, and I basically have the best jerk off material I could ever get my hands on for life."
etc

I am wondering if you would be so careless if you spent $60k and ended up with $1.66 million after cashing out?
I would think most level headed people would use it and invest it instead so it makes you more and doesnt run out like it did for him.
This would be more or less the most common sense thing to do for most people.
Wouldnt you agree?
8703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 02, 2019, 05:18:50 PM
And now Cuban said that KP will not play this season because of his injury. I don't know what they are trying to do, normally KP was ready to return on Knicks before all of this happened which means after the all-star break he should be ready to play however for some reason they are keeping him out. With the team they currently have they are not going to tank now and get a good pick, the best they can hope for is a 10th pick or something which will not be enough to actually get bad again.

I think instead of tanking they should let them play and build a chemistry. However, if the deal is not like I assume and KP is still injured then they are really getting screwed here with getting just one year of KP for all those players, they need to really really hope KP resigns or it was a horrible move by them.

They could have been working their chemistry more before they will let them play live.

Okay, I am calm now. Sorry about that posts of me a yesterday killing Mark Cuban. Grin
I love Porzingis. No doubt about that. I have been a fan of him since day 1.
The only problem for me is that Mavericks is trying to work out what roster they have and all of this happened instantly.

If you are a player then maybe you could understand. It is like an offensive act. The question that will go to your mind is WHY?
Let us just see what will happen next year. I doubt they can make a miracle in this year. It will be a whack.
No problem. We all get hot headed sometimes and say things we dont mean.
It was just said in the heat of the moment I am guessing. Maybe because of a bet not going your way.
It happens to me all the time. lol

Anyways about Porzingis.
They wont be able to see their chemistry this season as they reported he is still suffering from his injury he acquired while still with the knicks and wont be able to play with the mavericks this season.

8704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 02, 2019, 05:12:48 PM
^  Heh yup.  Sucks for me, I got a bet on City getting past LFC by the end if the season vs Trofo.  Lol.

Anyway, gonna watch Burnley vs Southampton next...  You?

Got a small bet on Burnley.  Lol.
I am gonna watch Chelsea Vs Huddersfield. I would like to see Chelsea to win both halves. Make your guess why 😀
Chelsea should get an easy win and if they do then they can easily pass Arsenal or at-least stay next to them in the point table.
I need to win the 2nd half
Come on Chelsea 😀

Burnley is yet to score their first goal. I hope they get it.

Edit: Southampton scored and things are looking hard for Burnley

Edit: Chelsea scored more two goals in the 2nd half. Still 15 mins to go though. But I can see the light for me  😀
You did it in fine fashion! Congrats to you on winning your bets for chelsea.
I only had -2 goals for them but had two of the top german teams with this bet and those two lost.
Anyone who had them scoring over 4.5 goals really knew they would come out hopping mad after their last defeat of 4 goals so they scored 5 just to kick dirt in the face of their detractors. Wink
8705  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto Exchange QuadrigaCX Missing $145 Mln After Death of Founder on: February 02, 2019, 05:08:21 PM
Maybe its $190 mln - and I think this will help some impatience and only profit seeking crypto users to think again to take control of their keys.
There was someone saying some of their customers held $10 million worth of fiat/crypto in their accounts on this exchange.
Anybody holding this amount is asking for something to happen to it. Cause with all the exchanges being so careless lately  (cryptopia comes to mind with the recent loss of alot of ethereum) why would anyone have their funds so vulnerable like this? It just doesnt make any common sense to do this.

Can anyone say mt.gox 2.0? Roll Eyes
8706  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mike Novograz: Bitcoin growth still needs to wait a few months on: February 02, 2019, 03:28:51 PM
I dont follow this individual but he does make an impact whenever he talks in the cryptospace.
I am sure this tweet will carry some truth for those who do follow him for his predictions.
Ofcourse there are many things which are known to bring the price back up in a few months.
So this is sort of like what you would get by going to a fortune teller at a carnival.

8708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Doesn't blockchain technology makes gambling easier? on: February 02, 2019, 06:17:04 AM
It does. But I believe it makes gambling just too easy. Grin
So simple to send crypto funds to a gambling site as opposed to fiat. Credit card companies always try blocking your card.
Anonymity so they are not traced to a bank account or credit card making using it guilt free as it is only internet money. Wink
Also the value is seen as more nominal (of a price or amount of money very small; far below the real value or cost) then fiat currency when sending to a gambling site. So what you use now isnt going to be worth the same if not less. Thus making it easier to place a wager with 0.1462btc(preev rate at time of writing this) than slapping $500 down on the superbowl winner. Cause this 0.1462btc wont be worth $500 come sunday when the game is played and decided a winner. It could be worth more it could be worth less. But in the bettors mind he will say ah aleast it wasnt $500 if they lost their bet it was only internet money which I cant pay my rent with. Cheesy
See what I am saying? Embarrassed
8709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 02, 2019, 05:53:05 AM
~ snip ~

I guess not for long, the Rockets led in the 1st quarter but the Nuggets come back strong in the 2nd, and now they continue
their dominant performance, with a double digit lead.

Looks like it's another losing game for the Rockets, Jokic still the man in the this game, and I notice it's a high scoring game..

Nuggets could reach over 100 points in the 3rd quarter alone.

Yes they scored a ton this game and I had them for only over 222.5 with pretty good odds.
If anybody went for the full odds prelive of over 236.5 points total they would of cashed out a good amount on just this one selection on their betslip alone.
I also went for live bet of over 234.5 back in the 1st quarter and it was 2x.

Harden scored a final 3 pointer in the dying minute of the 4th to keep his streak alive of games with 30+ points and surpassed one of the 30 year old records by Chamberlain.
8710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 02, 2019, 03:59:04 AM
There is a shoot gallery happening in Denver right now.
The rockets and nuggets are shooting out the lights and are tied 57-57 at the half way point of the second quarter.
I have never seen so many dunks and fast breaks in a game. Houston was shooting 70% and denver 68% meaning they were hardly missing their shot attempts.
If you have a chance you should try to watch it on youtube in its full glory or maybe they will repeat it on espn later on tonight.
It is the most explosive game thus far in the season and right before the all-star break.
I think this is what is getting these players psyched up and they are just going wild on the court with trying to out do each other. Cheesy
Nuggets are even having some of their starting lineup not playing tonight so it is hard to say who will win this one tonight.
I bet on points which will definitely hit for me tonight. Wink
8711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: February 02, 2019, 03:26:57 AM
That was intense, I thought my bet would not cover..  But we got lucky today, thanks for the support guys, your opinion are deeply appreciated.

We have our first win for the month, congratulations to us. Let's start another streak from here. Grin

Final score 113 - 99 (covered)

Good call and sticking to your instincts and not letting anybody else sway your prediction.
This should help you with your future bets and hopefully more wins for the month.
It is certainly a good start! Wink
The odds for -13.5 points were over 2x odds which must of been a very nice payout for you.
Congratulations again on a solid pick.
8712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 02, 2019, 12:35:16 AM
How about Smith Jr.? That is one kid with a hell of a future.
Honestly, I considered Smith Jr. as one of the possible franchise player of the Dallas Mavericks in the future because of the way he played last year and take note that he is just a rookie. Now in sophomore season and with the arrival of Luka Doncic, majority noticed that he is not the Smith Jr. before. Poor performance, not an aggressive like before etc. Luka now turned as the main gunner of the team and I believed Smith Jr. doesn't comfortable with it.

"Hey you are just a newcomer here. Don't act like a leader" - lol just joking. That was my interpretation on how he behaves now.

Their chemistry mixed up so badly even how many games they played together so I see that the trade package is good for the team.

Thank God they didnt trade Doncic or I will really kill Mark Cuban.  Cool
Haha. I still remember how he destroyed their 2011 Championship Lineup. lol.

Although we cannot conclude that their chemistry will work out right away, but at least they tried and maybe mavericks has a chance for the coming playoffs.
Yes. No need to rush things. Besides, Porzingis is still not fit to play.

If no luck at this coming playoffs, they can set a full goal on reaching playoffs next season once KP fully recovers (I hope) (KP is under contract for 2019-20)

The only trouble Dallas has right now is the lack of depth, they have 2 great young players with Luka and Porzingis but basically no one else, if they can get couple more decent players they have a very bright future ahead of them, years of playoffs to say the least.

Not really a trouble. What they need is "role" players on which can be achieved even without engaging on trades. Yes some members of the current squad can turned into "role" players while they are advancing.

Remember the full role players lineup of 2011 squad? That's what Im looking forward to see on this team again.
Funny thing is they sat Luka Doncic during their last game and lost it to the pistons. They cant put all that pressure of being a leader on a rookie. This is just bad coaching and not right to their young star player. They should let him ease into the role naturally and not push it on him. This is good coaching.
https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/dirk-nowitzki-and-luka-doncic-react-to-kristaps-porzingis-trade-news.70861.html

Kyrie irving being traded is not going to happen. I am certain. He is their leader on the team and why would they trade their leader? Just for the hype? I dont think thats the case.
We just will need to see how he performs against the knicks tonight. And let his game speak for itself.
8713  Economy / Gambling / Re: OneHash || Mutual Sports Betting & Casino 🎲 || No Registration or KYC 💰 on: February 02, 2019, 12:25:23 AM
Why is it weird that odds would change on a website that is basically pvp ? I mean if japan had 26 odds and then suddenly a lot less than it means someone bet on Japan, that's it. Quite easy to understand solution.

Onehash has no say in this whatsoever, they don't care what the odds are, you can have something like Barcelona and 5th division team playing on a cup game and Barcelona should have 1.01 or something but lets assume someone bet huge on the other side and Barcelona has 20+ odds, that money doesn't come out of onehash pocket, it comes out from the player who bet on the other team.

Therefore, they have no incentive to get Japan less odds or more odds. Not every suspicious thing you see is actually suspicious, sometimes you just do not really see the obvious.
Yes agreed. This is how the site works with player vs player (pvp) bets being placed.
I noticed the odds on some of the matches are not the ones sportsbookies use for their sites.
Which usually come from a source odds maker.
If you notice some of the matches show only 0.001btc for the total amount wagered it is more than likely it is the by the site just to have it so somebody else can bet on the match and have something to bet against with their choice on the team to win.

This Stake player casually turns 0.01 BTC into over $6,000 profit!

Which payout multiplier do you use the most when you play dice?
Let us know in a comment with your Stake username and you could win a Bitcoin prize!

That is a huge win starting with such a low amount. And on playing dice? Shocked
Didnt know the payouts can be this much for such a simple game. Either pick if the roll is low or high. Right?
I will maybe need to try my luck on the site this weekend instead of betting on the super bowl. Wink

8716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: February 02, 2019, 12:14:39 AM
Tomorrow's game - Boston Celtics -13.5 vs NY Knicks +13.5

I think this game is an easy game for the Celtics since the NY Knicks key players just got traded and there is no chemistry yet in they will be available in this game. The Celtics will have a better chance to cover the spread if in cash Jordan will not play, right now, it's unknown if he will play due to illness.

Pick :    Boston Celtics -13.5

This should definitely be a win for the Celtics, NY Knicks have only won once from their last 20 games and are currently on 11 games without a win. That being said I'm somewhat skeptical about the Boston Celtic -13.5 points spread, I do not doubt the Boston to win this but, I think they might just let off their guard in a quarter or so considering how easy the match was supposed to be, and it will all be about how effectively the are shooting.

I'll be leaning on taking a live bet on the match during or after the 1st quarter with the spread point, I already have the Celtics on - 4.0 in the 1st quarter as I think they will want to rally early.
Totally agree with you there. -13.5 is quite high to keep it up there for the entire game. And the odds given reflect this.
Going with the 1st quarter bet is a better bet to make as you said they would want to start strong.
And you are correct the Knicks are the worst teams in the league just by looking at their record alone.
8717  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - 🎲 Crypto Casino 🎰 Multi-Currency | Rainbot | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: February 01, 2019, 05:56:15 PM
All this talk of promo, maybe some of us should have our own mini promo on a separate thread, some kind of simple challenge with a few participants facing just each other. We all contribute a small fee each, something silly small like $5. 16 of us makes $80. Winner takes all after KO of 8 on 8, 4 on 4, then 2 on 2, then final.

What do you think? Like a BitDice Diceslinger trophy? Think we can get 16 people?
Yes I agree with this suggestion. It would be interesting and something to participate in while the site owner decides on when to run their next promotion.
Maybe the moderator of their chat can approve it first so this is not going against any of their rules running this separate competition.
8718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling site that offer Free spin? on: February 01, 2019, 05:44:38 PM
The free spins won't allow you to win anything.  It is just a promotional tool to draw you in so you play more.  Its just like how casinos will givep layers free rooms and free food so they stay longer and play.  For whales they give them the most ridiculous perks and even let them fly the casino's private jet just so they bet millions.
This is very true because usually with free spins you need to meet their minimum amount which is more likely the case too high to reach before you are able to withdraw.
This is the caveat which come with these free spins. The player usually ends up using all their free spins before they reach the requirements and they end up depositing instead.
It is like a welcome gift but the casinos find a way so you can not withdraw if you end up winning anything.
It is all part of their allure. Wink
8719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: bitsler profit on: February 01, 2019, 05:33:50 PM
So they are saying their bet amount was 0.00008669btc and they rolled a 7.07x odds and hit to win 0.00052632btc.
If they see this as a major amount to win who is stopping him about being happy for it?
He must be very proud of winning half a mbtc he had to post about it.
Enjoy the win and continue to do so. Update on your next big win. Smiley
8720  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 1.5 ETH for BTC.... looking for a fast exchange. on: February 01, 2019, 05:23:19 PM
Go on yolodice.com - Open an account  - go to Exchange and do it by yourself without any risk . All in less than 5 minutes  Wink

Got 1.5ETH, need BTC.

Middleman welcomed!

Let me know your rates.
There will always be fees involved when trading on a site.
I think they charge between 3-4% to exchange using their section from what others have said.
Then there is a withdrawal fee to be paid to take the btc off the site to your wallet just like any other exchange does.
So he will be losing upto $7-9 once all these are factored in for this amount he wants to exchange.

OP pm me how much you are you wanting back for this amount of eth.
We might be able to come to an agreed upon rate if you want.
